(And if we missed anyone, let us know so we can give them their flowers! 🌺) 📸 1. Annaleigh Ashford ’05, who’d previously won a Tony in 2015, was nominated for her work in Sweeney Todd. Here she is with Aaron Glick ’06, a coproducer of Kimberly Akimbo, which won Best Musical and took home five awards—the most of any production. Glick also won a Tony as a producer of The Boys in the Band in 2019. 📸 2. That’s MMC alum and adjunct faculty member Leigh Goldenberg ’03. She’s the managing director of the Wilma Theater, a co-producer of FAT HAM. Though the play didn’t take home any trophies Sunday night, it’s still a game-changer for Philly’s theatre scene: It was the first time a Philadelphia theater has been a Broadway producer and Tony-nominated. 📸 3. Robert Reed-Jones ’05, Vice President and Head of Theater at the advertising agency AKA North America, saw several clients win this season, including Parade; Good Night, Oscar; Prima Facie; and New York, New York. 📸 4-5. She also created interior illustrations for The Sun and the Star, which Amazon ranked as the #1 best seller in its Children’s Books on LGBTQ+ Families category. 📸 3-4: Ashley Pavia ’21 graduated from the University of Delaware with a master’s in Marine Studies and a concentration in Oceanography. Her thesis explored the mobility of man-made chemicals known as PFAS in the environment and the factors affecting their fate as they migrate to the ocean. She recently presented her research at the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry North America’s annual conference. 📸 5-6: Lucy Martin ’11 writes and performs tracks for film and TV promos as one-half of the alt-pop duo Oskura. President Walk will confer their degrees at ceremonies taking place this morning and afternoon. MMC has been the sole degree-granting institution at Bedford Hills for 25 years, awarding more than 275 degrees. In 2019, the College began partnering with @hudson_link to award degrees at Taconic.
