Sylvania Recreation has been offering Youth Lacrosse programs to Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan residents since 1995. There are a variety of lacrosse programs available to your aspiring lacrosse player. Our indoor programs are held at Tam-O Shanter in the Fall and Winter months. The outdoor programs are held the beautiful Pacesetter Park. We are proud to offer coaches training, clinics and player camps throughout the year. High School Boys & Girls Leagues
HS Lacrosse 6s focuses on bringing box lacrosse to the field. It incorporates an engaging game environment that emphasizes both offensive and defensive skills. Players will elevate their game in all aspects.
Additional Information:
- Reversible jersey included with registration.
- Games are 6v6 format. (4) – 8 minute quarters.
- Game play emphasizes quick transitions, high energy play, on the fly substitutions, and quick starts following goals.
- All officials will be HS Certified Officials.
- Follows World Lacrosse Sixes Rules
Dates: January 9 – February 13, 2023 (Girls) / January 10 – February 14, 2023 (Boys)
Girls: 8 games (Sundays, Mondays & Fridays)
Boys: 8 games (Sundays, Tuesdays & Fridays)
Location: Tam-O-Shanter
Girls Fees: $100 (Resident – Individual) / $110 (Non-Resident Individual) / $1200 (team)
Boys Fees: $100 (Resident – Individual) / $110 (Non-Resident Individual) / $1200 (team)
Deadline: December 16, 2022 (includes reversible game jersey)

Equipment Needed (Boys) : Boys Lacrosse Stick, elbow pads, shoulder pads, gloves, protective cup, mouth-guard. Sylvania Recreation can provide helmet.

ABOUT SAJRD
The Sylvania Recreation District (SAJRD) was formed in 1988 to provide the citizens of the Sylvania area with high quality recreational programs and facilities. The District is a collaboration between the City of Sylvania, Sylvania Township and Sylvania Schools. Each of these political entities appoints four people to the 12-person SAJRD Board.
It is the mission of the Sylvania Area Joint Recreation District (SAJRD) to provide high quality recreation and leisure facilities, parks, programs and activities to meet the demonstrated needs of all citizens who reside within the district through sound planning, efficient allocation of resources, and effective management.
Sylvania Recreation values the impact our volunteer coaches have on youth sports. All volunteer coaches must meet the established criteria and guidelines for each program along with ensuring that every player is provided with an opportunity to have the most positive youth sports experience possible. Sylvania Recreation strives to provide our coaches with the necessary educational tools and resources to positively impact the youth and parents of our community.
