GA Women’s Lacrosse Job | Lake Erie College
Lake Erie College, a small, co-educational, four-year, independent liberal arts college located in Painesville, OH, 30 miles east of Cleveland, invites applications for graduate assistant, women’s lacrosse. Lake Erie College is an NCAA Division II program that competes in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (GMAC). The graduate assistant is responsible for duties as assigned by the head coach and will manage a secondary responsibility as defined. Starting Fall Semester 2022, this is a ten-month, two-year appointment, pending successful evaluation at the end of year one.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Serves as recruiter for the sport of women’s lacrosse, identifying and evaluating potential students with that interest and organizing their recruitment in conjunction with the Office of Admissions.
Assists with organization of all aspects of the program, including coaching and management of facility, practice and team operations.
Helps execute team fundraising efforts, including participation in camps and clinics.
Handles uniform and equipment maintenance and inventory.
Assists with student-athlete study table coverage and coordination.
Projects and promotes an inclusive education with the highest standards, where student-athletes are empowered to leave lives of personal significance and professional success as global citizens.
Acts as an ambassador of the College and conducts oneself in a positive manner to heighten the awareness of the institution to all of its constituents.
Operates within the mission of the College and athletics department to ensure a full NCAA DII student-athlete experience.
Follows all institutional, GMAC and NCAA regulations regarding women’s lacrosse and athletics in general.
Other duties as assigned by the head coach, women’s lacrosse or director of athletics.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in physical education, sports management or related field preferred.
Acceptance into a Lake Erie College graduate program required.
Knowledge of intercollegiate athletics, rules and regulations of athletic associations and conferences.
Collegiate playing experience preferred.
Knowledge and skill in using integrated software systems and Microsoft applications.
Special Requirements
Qualified applicants will have the availability to work evenings and weekends, possess a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record and have the ability to travel for team practices, competition and recruiting.

Position SummaryBelmont Abbey College, an NCAA Division II institution and member of the Conference Carolinas, invites applications for the Assistant Men’s Lacrosse Coach position.
Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate for this position will support all aspects of an established collegiate men’s lacrosse program, including, but not limited to, assisting with the recruiting plan for the program in compliance with NCAA and Conference Carolinas rules and regulations, assisting with practice and game plan development, monitoring academic progress toward a degree for student-athletes, budgeting, scheduling, supporting the head coach in day-to-day duties and team operations, assisting student-athletes and coaches with community service projects, and other duties as assigned. The incumbent must fulfill these duties while adhering to all rules, guidelines, and principles set forth by the NCAA, Conference Carolinas, and Belmont Abbey College.
Qualifications
Preference will be given to those candidates who can demonstrate a vision of recruiting student-athletes who fit well with the institution’s mission and character as a distinctively Catholic and Benedictine college that views sport as a means of developing virtue. The minimum qualifications for this position include a bachelor’s degree, four years of collegiate playing experience, and a minimum of one year of coaching experience, preferably at the collegiate level.
In addition, candidates must wholeheartedly embrace the mission of the College to educate students in the liberal arts and sciences so that in all things God may be glorified. The incumbent will consistently demonstrate skills, attitudes, and stable disposition of character to support our Catholic and Benedictine identity while fostering the development of mind, body, and spirit in our students, our staff and the greater community. Finally, candidates must have a sincere appreciation and acceptance of our Catholic approach to education and an understanding of Pope Saint John Paul II’s Ex Corde Ecclesiae .

Denver choked Utah to start head coach Bill Tierney’s final season in style, Brennan O’Neal scoring his 100th career goal and five assists led the Duke to victory over Bellarmine, Rutgers ” defeated “Marist” and many other matches.
Denver 12:4 Uta:
Denver scored a landslide victory over Utah at Peter Barton Stadium thanks to a defensive choke. It was a welcome result, especially after a tense pre-season following Tierney’s retirement announcement at the end of that season.
Duke 19:7 Bellarmine:
Brennan O’Neal reached 100 goals faster than anyone in program history and set a new career best in assists to lead the Blue Devils to a 12-goal win over the Knights.
Rutgers 20:8 Marist:
Last season, the Scarlet Knights reached the Final Four for the first time in history, and they started this season with a big win over the Red Foxes.
Offensive rookie Dante Kulas, a sophomore who replaced 22nd grader Mitch Bartolo, led the attack with five goals and three assists. Line-mates Ross Scott and Brian Cameron scored three goals each, while midfielder Jack Imone also scored a hat-trick.

The Buckeyes opened their new state-of-the-art $24.9 million lacrosse stadium with a landslide victory over the Falcons in Columbus.
“I’m grateful for a lot today,” head coach Nick Myers said in a team press release. “Let’s start with our fans – they were amazing. Our students, our families and community were great today. Our administration has done a lot of hard work to make today possible, and we couldn’t help but thank them. I’m proud of how the guys fought. Air Force is a good team. Of course it’s good to win the first victory at the start, but we need to improve.”
