A Boston, Massachusetts native, West is in her first season as the head coach at Thomas College. She spent the last four years as the head coach at Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas. She started the Hendrix program – the first collegiate women’s lacrosse program in Arkansas – from scratch. After spending the 2013 season recruiting, the Warriors posted back-to-back 4-10 seasons in 2014 and 2015 and an 8-8 mark in 2016.
In three seasons at Hendrix, West coached six All-Southern Athletic Association second team selections and 10 honorable mentions.
West also guided the launch of the varsity program at former North Atlantic Conference (NAC) member Mount Ida College. In three years of varsity competition, West guided the Mustangs to a 21-26 record and three consecutive trips to the Greater Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Tournament. West coached eight All-GNAC and the league’s 2012 Defensive Player of the Year and 2012 Rookie of the Year while at Mount Ida.
At Mount Ida, West also served several administrative roles. She was the Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Student Affairs for two years, the Assistant to the Athletic Director for a year and the Senior Woman Administrator for a year.
West spent three seasons as an assistant coach for her alma mater Wheaton College. She helped the Lyons to a fifth straight New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Tournament title game in 2006.
In 2005, West was the junior varsity lacrosse coach at Weston High School. In 2004 West lived in Gloucestershire, England and coached three high school teams at the Westonbirt School for girls.
While playing for Wheaton, West was named team captain twice and helped capture the program’s first two NEWMAC titles. She started in 68 games during her career, missing just one game. West helped the Lyons to a 20-4 mark in NEWMAC games and advance to the NCAA Tournament twice. In her senior season, West led the team to the NCAA Division III national quarterfinals. She totaled 53 goals and 23 assists for 76 points during her career as a midfielder and was twice named first team All-NEWMAC.
West graduated from Wheaton in 2004 with a degree in philosophy. She earned her master’s degree in sports management with a concentration in coaching from Lasell College in 2015.

As NGLL regional play continues, Carolinas and New England champions have been crowned. The regional champions will be joining the Georgia champions, as three regions have now punched tickets to the National Girls Lacrosse League Championships over Memorial Day Weekend.
On Saturday, April 10th at the Windsor School, 2025 A, 2025 B and 2026 A champions were crowned. The Bay State Bullets 25 Silver (pictured above) will represent New England in the 2025 A Division in the NGLL Championships, while Storm 25/26 (pictured below) will represent the region in the 2025 B Division. REV 26 Hustle earned bragging rights in the 2026 A Division.

“With play delayed for months due to COVID-19 restrictions, New England’s NGLL region has crowned it’s winners for the NGLL Championship Weekend come Memorial Day Weekend. Following strict COVID guidelines and players in masks, Bay State Bullets 25 Silver, Storm 25/26 and REV 26 Hustle will represent New England in the NGLL Championships. Baystate Bullets 25 Silver came out firing with suburb draw play and went undefeated under the lights! Storm 25/26 battled back and forth with REV 25 Hustle and ultimately pulled away, clinching the winning record and advancing to Championship Weekend. REV 26 Hustle ran the table with fast paced and patient play, outscoring their opponents by a margin of nine goals a game.” -Lukas Cash, New England Regional Director
On Sunday, April 11th at the BB&T Park, Team 91 Carolinas (pictured below; 6-0) captured the 2025 A Division, while Team Coastal (3-1-1) was crowned champion in the 2025 B Division. In the 2026 A Division, Team 91 Carolinas (3-2-1) punched its ticket to the NGLL Championships.

“I am so thankful for each of the clubs who participated this year in our second inaugural season of the NGLL Carolinas. With COVID-19 cutting last season short, we were just so excited to get back out there and compete this spring! This season was full of great competition and camaraderie against teams in both North and South Carolina. As lacrosse continues to grow in our region and more girls start to play at a younger age, the NGLL Carolinas will be a great opportunity to help provide a high level of competition for all club programs to continue developing. It’s an exciting time to be a lacrosse player in the Carolinas!” -Kelly McQuilkin, Carolinas Regional Director
