Who is the go-to stick stringer for top PLL pros. How does proper lacrosse stick stringing impact player performance. What makes Lars Keil’s stringing techniques unique. Why do professional players trust Keil with their equipment. How did Keil become known as the Sidewall Jedi.
The Rise of Lars Keil: From Player to Premier Lacrosse Stringer
In the world of professional lacrosse, having the right equipment can make all the difference. At the heart of this equipment is the lacrosse stick, and more specifically, how it’s strung. Enter Lars Keil, known in lacrosse circles as the “Sidewall Jedi” – a title that speaks volumes about his expertise in stick stringing.
Keil’s journey to becoming one of the most sought-after stick stringers in professional lacrosse is as unique as his skills. Despite not picking up a lacrosse stick until his junior year of high school, Keil’s determination and passion for the sport led him to play college lacrosse at Springfield College. It was here that his obsession with stick stringing began to take shape.
From Underdog to Expert
Keil’s college lacrosse career started with a challenge. As a freshman, he was told his skills weren’t up to par for practice or games. Instead of quitting, Keil doubled down on his commitment to the sport. By his junior year, he had become a starter on the highest-scoring offense in Division III.
This experience of overcoming expectations would later fuel Keil’s approach to stick stringing. He saw an opportunity to help players maximize their potential through properly strung sticks, believing that equipment should enhance, not hinder, a player’s abilities.
The Impact of Proper Stick Stringing on Player Performance
Why is stick stringing so crucial in lacrosse? A properly strung stick can significantly impact a player’s performance, affecting everything from shot accuracy to ball control. Keil’s expertise in this area has made him indispensable to many professional players.
- Improved shot accuracy
- Better ball retention
- Consistent release point
- Enhanced feel and control
Nick Marrocco, Cannons starting goalie and All-Star, emphasizes the importance of Keil’s work: “He knows every single thing possible about stringing sticks. It makes a big difference when you get out on the field. You see it all the time. Some games, you have guys sailing the ball or shooting it into the dirt. Just being able to go out and play and not have to worry about that is huge.”
Team Unfair Advantage: Keil’s Elite Clientele
Keil’s reputation has earned him an impressive roster of clients, whom he collectively refers to as “Team Unfair Advantage.” This group includes some of the biggest names in professional lacrosse, all of whom rely on Keil’s expertise to give them an edge on the field.
Notable Team Unfair Advantage Members
- Trevor Baptiste – Premier League All-Star
- TD Ierlan – Premier League All-Star
- Joe Nardella – PLL’s reigning Faceoff Man of the Year
- Tim Troutner – All-Star Game MVP
- Rob Pannell – 2013 Tewaaraton Award winner
The impact of Keil’s work was on full display during the Premier Lacrosse League All-Star Game. Many of the standout performances came from players using sticks strung by Keil, including Tim Troutner, who was named MVP after making 24 saves and scoring a behind-the-back goal with a goalie crosse.
The Sidewall Jedi’s Stringing Philosophy
What sets Keil’s approach apart from other stick stringers? His philosophy centers on the idea that every player, regardless of skill level, deserves a well-strung stick that enhances their abilities rather than holds them back.
Keil believes that the “vast majority” of the current playing population does not have adequately strung sticks. He sees this as both a challenge and an opportunity to improve the overall quality of play in lacrosse.
Key Elements of Keil’s Stringing Technique
- Customization based on player position and style
- Attention to pocket depth and placement
- Precise tension in sidewall and shooting strings
- Use of high-quality materials
- Continuous experimentation and innovation
Keil’s dedication to his craft goes beyond simply stringing sticks. He’s constantly pushing the boundaries of what’s possible, often working with prototype materials and designs before they’re available to the public.
From Sidelines to Spotlight: Keil’s Role in Professional Lacrosse
Keil’s influence in professional lacrosse extends far beyond his stick stringing skills. Since 2018, he has served as the Director of Lacrosse Operations for Harvard men’s lacrosse. This summer, he joined the Premier Lacrosse League as an equipment manager, building on his experience with the Boston Cannons, where he was part of the staff that won an MLL championship.
These roles allow Keil to combine his passion for stick stringing with his broader goal of helping players achieve their potential. His presence on the sidelines during games ensures that players have access to his expertise at crucial moments.
Keil’s Impact on Game Day
During the PLL All-Star Game, Keil’s influence was evident even when he wasn’t actively working on sticks. He positioned himself at the 50-yard line during faceoffs, careful not to show favoritism to either side, despite having strung the sticks for both faceoff specialists.
This level of involvement and attention to detail is what sets Keil apart. He’s not just a stick stringer; he’s an integral part of the lacrosse community, constantly working to improve the game from the ground up.
The Science and Art of Lacrosse Stick Stringing
Lacrosse stick stringing is a unique blend of science and art. It requires a deep understanding of physics, materials science, and player biomechanics, combined with an artistic touch that can only be developed through years of practice and experimentation.
The Technical Aspects of Stick Stringing
- Understanding different mesh types and their properties
- Calculating optimal pocket depth for different positions
- Adjusting string tension for desired ball release
- Balancing stick head flexibility and rigidity
- Accounting for weather conditions and their effects on equipment
Keil’s expertise in these technical aspects allows him to create sticks that perform consistently under various conditions. This reliability is crucial for professional players who need their equipment to perform at the highest level in every game and practice.
The Artistic Side of Stringing
While the technical aspects are important, there’s also an undeniable art to stick stringing. This is where Keil’s creativity and intuition come into play. He has a unique ability to understand a player’s style and preferences, translating them into a stick that feels like a natural extension of their body.
This artistic touch is what elevates Keil’s work from good to exceptional. It’s the reason why players like Rob Pannell reach out to him when they’re “in their own head” about their equipment. Keil’s ability to craft a stick that not only performs well but also gives players confidence is invaluable at the highest levels of the sport.
The Future of Lacrosse Equipment: Keil’s Vision
As the sport of lacrosse continues to evolve, so too does the equipment used to play it. Keil is at the forefront of this evolution, constantly experimenting with new materials and techniques to push the boundaries of what’s possible in stick stringing.
Innovations in Stick Stringing
- Exploring new mesh materials for improved performance
- Developing stringing patterns optimized for specific playing styles

Keil’s success has highlighted the crucial role that equipment specialists play in team performance. This recognition is likely to lead to more teams investing in dedicated equipment staff, creating new career opportunities within the sport.
As the importance of customized, high-performance equipment becomes more widely recognized, we may see equipment specialists becoming as integral to team success as coaches and trainers.
Inspiring Innovation Across the Sport
Finally, Keil’s innovative approach to his craft is likely to inspire similar creativity in other aspects of lacrosse. From training techniques to game strategy, his example shows the value of questioning established norms and constantly seeking improvement.
This spirit of innovation, sparked by Keil’s work with stick stringing, could lead to breakthroughs in various areas of the sport, driving lacrosse forward into new and exciting territories.
As the Sidewall Jedi continues to ply his trade on sidelines across the country, his impact on lacrosse extends far beyond the sticks he strings. Lars Keil’s legacy is one of innovation, dedication, and a relentless pursuit of excellence – qualities that will undoubtedly shape the future of lacrosse for years to come.
Sidewall Jedi Lars Keil The Chosen One for Top PLL Pros
When Trevor Baptiste and TD Ierlan lined up across the stripe from each other for the opening faceoff of the Premier Lacrosse League All-Star Game, they were linked by another thread besides their sensational play this season.
They both used sticks strung by the same person. They were far from the only ones who did so at PayPal Park. When the man behind many of your favorite pros’ pockets wasn’t tending to equipment issues, he toed the 50-yard line lest to give the impression he was leaning one way or the other.
His name is Lars Keil — aka the Sidewall Jedi.
“I really do think he is the best stringer there is out there,” said All-Star faceoff specialist Joe Nardella, the PLL’s reigning Faceoff Man of the Year for the Whipsnakes.
Though Nardella’s Defenders fell to the Adversaries 23-21, the entire All-Star Game felt like a win for Team Unfair Advantage. That’s the title Keil, 39, created for those he strings for from the youth level to pros to 60-year-olds, and applies to anyone who plays with a stick strung “markedly” better than their competition.
Amongst the Team Unfair Advantage members who shined was Tim Troutner, who was named All-Star Game MVP after making 24 saves and scoring a behind-the-back goal with a goalie crosse. Chaos midfielder Jake Froccaro came out on top in the fastest shot competition using a Maverik Kinetik 2.0 with ECD Hero 3 mesh he borrowed from Keil, who strung it the previous weekend specifically for his own personal record attempt (he hit 101 mph). Rob Pannell registered eight points, including a pair of two-point goals. Keil strung up a Warrior Evo QX-O for the 2013 Tewaaraton Award winner less than 48 hours earlier.
“Dude, I need some new sticks,” Pannell messaged Keil a couple days before the game. “I’m in my own head right now.”
The confidence Keil has in his craft helps even the best players in the world get out of their heads.
“He knows every single thing possible about stringing sticks,” said Cannons starting goalie and All-Star Nick Marrocco. “It makes a big difference when you get out on the field. You see it all the time. Some games, you have guys sailing the ball or shooting it into the dirt. Just being able to go out and play and not have to worry about that is huge.”
“If there’s one person you should ever listen to about stick stringing, this is the guy.”

A self-described stick stringing nerd, Keil talks about the subject and all facets of lacrosse with the fervor of someone who’s centered his professional life around the sport. The Director of Lacrosse Operations for Harvard men’s lacrosse since 2018, Keil also joined the PLL this summer as an equipment manager after spending the past four seasons on the Boston Cannons’ staff, which culminated in an MLL championship. He’s spent the past 15 years coaching at various programs in Divisions I, II and III and considers himself lucky that his passion for stringing is so intertwined with helping players achieve their potential.
He’s on a mission to bring to light the underutilized and undervalued aspect of high-performance stringing. He believes everyone can, and should, have a great stick. He estimates that the “vast majority” of the current playing population does not.
“There’s never a shortage of lacrosse players playing with sticks that are holding them back,” Keil said last week during a three-hour Zoom interview in transit. He watched a bald eagle fly over I-90 West while he drove from Massachusetts to Skaneateles, N.Y. An Epoch Z-Three head he strung with Warrior Warp Mesh on an Instagram Live hosted by HersheyLaxDyes the previous night rode shotgun in his pickup truck.
Both the head and mesh are not available to the public yet.
“I can’t really say how I got this piece of mesh because I probably shouldn’t have it,” Keil explained.
Unlike his route on the Massachusetts Turnpike that afternoon, Keil’s path to become one of — if not, the — most trusted resource on all things string in this galaxy was somewhat circuitous. He didn’t start playing lacrosse until his junior year on Andover High School’s inaugural varsity team in 1999. Early in the spring semester of his freshman year at Springfield College, his coach informed him his skills were not at a level that he’d get to play in practice, let alone games. He told Keil he wouldn’t hold it against him if he decided to quit.
“What immediately came out of my mouth immediately was, ‘I’m staying,’ and what went through my head you’re not allowed to print,” said Keil, who has a shaved head and a hearty laugh.
He played in almost every league game that season on the highest scoring offense in Division III. By his junior year, he was a starter. Keil seems to delight in upending and exceeding people’s expectations — a trait that carries over into his stringing. He finds it hilarious when people tell him you can’t have a deep, high pocket that also throws easily. “You absolutely can,” he said.
***
Keil majored in Educational Leadership and Administration at Springfield, though for a while, he thought he might go to art school. He fell in love with drawing comic book covers and characters after an assignment in the fifth grade.
The more he focused on stringing, especially after he graduated college, the less he dabbled in visual arts.
“My artistic expression became the sticks that I strung,” Keil said.
Back at Springfield, he’d scavenge mesh out of teammates’ broken heads and then experiment on his backup Warrior Evo with busted a sidewall hole. The entirety of his supplies fit into a Nike shoebox.
Now, his “dojo” consumes the entirety of the retrofitted basement office at his home in Andover from where he strings and packages the heads that he’ll ship across the country. Every type of men’s and women’s head imaginable with seemingly endless varieties of stringing covers a black pegboard on one wall next to the pair of Brine gloves Keil wore at Springfield. He converted a storage closest near the locker room at Harvard into a second workspace.
“Everything you could possibly imagine, want or need for stringing sticks is in there,” Nardella said. “It’s wild.”
The setup of Nardella’s sticks used to frequently be a point of frustration. They’d work for one game, but then the head would warp, or the mesh would loosen. Awry passes followed. That was before he started working with Keil at Harvard in 2018. While watching film of the previous MLL season when Nardella ranked second in faceoff win percentage, Keil noticed how the ball often got caught momentarily in the back of his head.
“There’s a better way to string your sticks,” he told Nardella.
After some trial and error, Keil started stringing to the outside of the sidewall, one of many techniques he’s popularized. Nardella has never had the same problem. A higher pocket with tighter sidewalls and an easier release gave him greater confidence off the ground and moving the ball in transition.
“All that stuff I would attribute to having a better stick,” Nardella said.
Faceoff specialists are Keil’s most frequent clients because of the wear and tear of the position. Nardella typically brings three to four STX Duel Reflexes to every PLL tour stop. Keil strings him a new one every week of the regular season to add to the quiver.
“My bag is getting a little full,” Nardella said with a laugh.
After stringing around 57 heads during training camp, Keil now squeezes in between five and 10 heads every weekend for PLL players when he’s not tackling all his other responsibilities as an equipment manager. He sticks around the various facilities late at night until security kicks him out or wakes up early to complete the work. The middle digit on his right hand has the consistency of leather.
“Tell me your hands are sore without telling me your hands are sore,” Keil said in a TikTok from his room on the 11th floor of the Omni Lakes Hotel overlooking the Minnesota Vikings’ training facility. He then stepped aside to reveal 10 freshly strung heads resting on the carpeted floor.
Keil chronicles his new creations on Instagram (@Lukesidewallker) and is an active member of the stringing community. His iCloud account contains 33,000 photos. Over 20,000 of them are of lacrosse sticks. His online presence serves as a forum for him to showcase his work and share his knowledge. His Instagram stories are filled with responses to “Ask Me Anything” and before and after shots of people applying his pocket pounding method to stretch every single hole of mesh. It involves a baseball bat — the best use he’s ever found for one — and takes no more than 30 seconds.
One of the most frequent questions he gets asked is how quickly he can string a stick. The answer varies. He can weave one of Nardella’s pockets in about 12 minutes because he’s done it so many times. Speed, however, is never the primary focus. Performance is. As long as it takes to make it “absolutely awesome,” Keil likes to reply.
The best promotion, though, is often word of mouth. In the case of stringing, seeing, or rather feeling, often results in believing.
The Book of Ando – Lincoln-Sudbury Lacrosse
Thanks for joining our initiative to continue to honor Ando’s tremendous legacy!
The primary goal of The Book of Ando is to record, publish, and honor the wisdom Ando passed in one volume for his kids, so they can have access to all of the great lessons he shared with us. Also, we think that by selling copies of the book as a fundraiser, we can raise a good amount of money for his family.
Below, you will find a link to a video explaining the project, and a link to the submission form for anecdotes.
How can you help?
- Spread the submission form on Social Media. We made a simple Google Form that anyone can fill out to share a lesson Ando taught them. We will launch the link later this week. Share, post, repost, forward, share! Let’s get as many voices as possible included in this book!
- Submit a memory yourself. We want this to be as complete and comprehensive as possible. There are too many great Ando stories to count, we want to record as many as we can. Yosh gave us so much great advice- leadership advice, life advice, advice on being a great teammate, sport-specific advice, advice on competing, advice on accepting injuries, advice on recovering from injuries, advice on strength training, advice on stick stringing, advice on cars, relationships, nutrition, everything! We want to record as much of that great advice as we can! Give us your best Ando lesson!
- Sell the Book Once It’s Published. Get as many people as you can to purchase a copy. Again, saturate social media. The goal is to have the book ready to distribute by March.
Our big ask at this point is helping to spread the link for submissions and again for book orders next month.
HERE IS A SAMPLE ANECDOTE:
Ando Quote: “Time to make the donuts!”
Anecdote: Yosh would say “Time to make the donuts” every morning at la camp while loading the ice. It was a daily tradition, and we know he loved tradition, plus a little humor to mark the start of the work for the day. Of course, it referenced the donut guy, a guy who was so busy serving others by making donuts that he never slept. No wonder he was Ando’s favorite guy to quote!

Big Plays Lift No. 4 Bearcats Past Pirates
Game Book | ECU Notes | Quotes | Press Conference
GREENVILLE, N.C. – East Carolina arrived at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium on Friday with all intentions of spoiling Cincinnati’s plans of being a part of the College Football Playoff. But the nation’s fourth-ranked team showed why it is worthy.
The Bearcats overcame three turnovers with a stout defense, a big-play offense and a game-changing play on special teams to defeat the Pirates 35-13 in the regular-season finale played before a nationally-televised audience and a chilled home crowd of a 38,014. Cincinnati seized control with a 21-point second quarter then thwarted several ECU attempts to scrap back as it has throughout a turn-around season.
“Everybody on that team came in, and they thought we were going to win,” said junior wide receiver Tyler Snead, who had six catches for a team-high 91 yards and extended his streak of games with a reception to 32. “We thought we were going to win, made some mistakes that can be corrected, so that’s a good thing, but obviously the outcomes wasn’t the way we wanted it.”
Head coach Mike Houston pointed to the experience of being in a game of such magnitude as perhaps playing a role. Cincinnati (11-0) has steadily climbed the polls this year since winning at Notre Dame and now heads to the American Athletic Conference championship to face Houston. ECU (7-5, 5-3 AAC), meanwhile, put a string of six straight losing seasons in its rear-view mirror and now its attention to its first bowl appearance since the 2015 Birmingham Bowl.
“I thought our kids played really, really hard,” Houston said. “I thought we did so many things well, but we just made some critical mistakes that you just can’t make if you’re going to win that ballgame. When you’re playing a team of that caliber, that’s what you hope to avoid.
“It comes from being able to handle the moment,” Houston said. “I talked about it all week because I have been in a lot of ballgames like that one today. It never changes. The teams that can handle the magnitude of the game are the ones that win it, and it’s because you don’t make those critical errors. The hope is that your returning players are able to use this as a learning piece.”
The Pirates, fueled by their hard-hitting defense, staged an inspired effort for a quarter before Cincinnati seized control with its 21-point second period orchestrated by dynamic senior quarterback Desmond Ritter. ECU created opportunities in the second half to climb back in, picking off a pair of passes and shutting out the Cincinnati offense, but simply could not make enough plays.
Ritter completed 17 of 28 passes – including a string of 10-straight in the second quarter — for 301 yards and a pair of touchdowns as he became the school and AAC all-time leader in total yards. He was responsible for 10 of the Bearcats’ 12 plays of 18 yards or more, including a 44-yard touchdown pass to Leonard Taylor.
“I told him after the ballgame he’s a hell of a player,” Houston said. “That’s what he does. He extends plays, he extends drives. He had a great day today. He’s probably the player of the year in this conference, and that’s because he has the ability to make those plays on his own.”
One of the biggest plays came with the Bearcats holding a 14-3 led but facing a third-and-12 at their 10. Ridder felt immediate pressure, eluded two tackles and then zipped a 24-yard pass for a first down to Tre Tucker. A 28-yard pass to Alec Pierce capped the 88-yard drive and made it 21-3.
Pierce finished with a career-high eight catches for 136 yards, including a 53-yarder that set up the Bearcats’ second touchdown.
Cincinnati threatened to extend its lead even more add with less than two minutes left in the half before Juan Powell’s hit forced Jerome Ford to cough up the ball at the eight, where Ja’Quan McMillian recovered.
The second half turned into a story of missed opportunities as the Pirates never found the formula to crack a stout defense. Quarterback Holton Ahlers, under constant pressure and sacked three times, completed 19 of 38 passes for 228 yards with one touchdown and one interception. The Pirates managed just 54 yards on the ground on 38 attempts, a mere 1.4 yards per carry.
ECU could not capitalize on the first of two Warren Saba interceptions on the first series of the second half. Owen Daffer’s 44-yard field goal inched the Pirates within 21-6, but realistic hopes quickly vanished on the next possession.
A 25-yard pass to Ryan Jones set up a first down at the 5, but a holding penalty followed by a 2-yard loss and two incompletions prompted another field goal attempt. But a potential three for the Pirates turned into seven for Cincinnati.
Arquan Bush sprinted in from the right side of the line, got a hand on the kick, and Ahmed Gardner scooped it up and ran 60 yards for a 28-6 lead.
Houston said the block resulted from “some miscommunication.”
“The mistake on the field goal there at the end, we snapped it early; nobody was ready, nobody was set,” Houston said. “They got a jump on us. You can’t do that.”
ECU responded quickly, driving 75 yards in just five plays with Ahlers throwing a 12-yard strike to Jsi Hatfield. The Pirates then forced a punt, but Darrian Beavers intercepted an Ahlers pass on the next play.
Ryan Montgomery’s 2-yard run capped the scoring, sending the Bearcats home still perfect.
ECU seniors left Dowdy-Ficklen for the last time without the result they wanted but knowing they made a difference.
“They always say you want to leave things better than when you came in,” senior linebacker Aaron Ramseur said. “I feel like that’s what we did. I feel like the program can only go upwards.”
3 takeaways from the Bruins’ loss to the Rangers
Bruins

The Boston Bruins only have one marquee win on their resume thus far: a 3-2 shootout triumph over the league-leading Florida Panthers on Oct. 30.
Bruce Cassidy’s squad took care of business against the team’s beneath them in the standings. Wednesday’s dominant 5-1 victory in Buffalo improved the B’s to 9-1-0 against teams outside of the pre-Thanksgiving playoff picture.
The Bruins didn’t face a rebuilding Sabres squad in their Black Friday matinee. Nor did they go up against a potential fringe playoff squad. Instead, they hosted an improved New York Rangers bunch that entered the day after Thanksgiving a mere two points behind the Capitals and Hurricanes atop the Metropolitan Division.
In a game that had a little bit of everything — from a pair of Jeremy Swayman’s diving stops, to Chris Kreider attempting “the Michigan” and Aretemi Panarin throwing his glove at Brad Marchand –, the Bruins shot themselves in the foot during the final 20 minutes.
Boston’s dominating effort in the opening stanza went for naught after Ryan Strome countered Craig Smith’s second of the year with a back-breaking tally with 5.8 ticks remaining.
The defensive breakdowns continued even after the Bruins regained a 2-1 edge on Patrice Bergeron’s eighth of the season. The Brandon Carlo-Derek Forbort pair found themselves on the ice for Dryden Hunt’s middle stanza equalizer off a juicy Jeremy Swayman rebound on the heels of a Forbort turnover; and Panarin’s third-period go-ahead tally, beating Carlo in the slot to tip home his fifth of the year.
“We didn’t play winning hockey for whatever reason,” Cassidy said following Friday’s loss to New York. “We kind of pissed it away, to be honest with you.”
Alexis Lafreniere’s fifth of the season and Jacob Trouba’s empty-netter capped off New York’s 5-2 win. Here’s what we learned.
Losses continue to pile up against marquee teams
Indeed, the Bruins will drop their share of decisions against some of the top teams in the league. They’ll even sustain some setbacks against middling or bottom-feeding squads during an 82-game slate.
At some point, they’ll need to string together some wins against those teams above them in the standings. Friday’s loss dropped the Bruins to 1-6 against a team currently holding a divisional top-three spot.
They encountered some tough breaks in those losses. But the Oilers, Flames, Rangers, Hurricanes, Maple Leafs and Panthers all exposed Boston’s defensive flaws during their early-season matchups.
Aside from their third-period come-from-behind win against the Panthers on Halloween eve, the Bruins haven’t risen to the occasion during crunch time. This month alone, they relinquished a third period lead to Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl, and the Oilers and let another win slip away following Friday’s third-period collapse.
“As a group, we have to do a better job of that,” Cassidy said of rectifying the meltdowns in the final 20. “You have to understand where you are in a game. There are going to be goals that are scored because guys are stronger than you or faster than you and they make plays. But you have to play winning hockey at the right time. That’s where we get away from our identity when we have those breakdowns that to me are pretty straightforward.”
The Bruins witnessed some of their old reliables from previous years continue their careers elsewhere. Surely, Cassidy would’ve turned to battle-tested vets like Zdeno Chara, David Krejci, Torey Krug, and Tuukka Rask in pivotal third-period moments.
The transition inside Boston’s locker room over the last two seasons provided plenty of growing pains. This early-season rut against some of the top early-season squads is living proof.
These aren’t the same Bruins teams from years past
Since the 2019-20 off-season, the Bruins had to fill significant voids on the second line, power play, and the top left-shot defensive pairing spot next to Charlie McAvoy.
The slow developments in the prospect ranks coupled with the Islanders exposing Boston’s bottom-six and defensive depth in last year’s second-round exit forced Don Sweeney’s hand this past summer. The seventh-year general manager attempted to address the concerns after adding Erik Haula, Nick Foligno, Tomas Nosek, Derek Forbort, and Linus Ullmark in late July. Sweeney’s off-season spree provided mixed results — at best — through the first 17 games.
As the newer players, including Taylor Hall and Curtis Lazar — acquired from the Sabres at last year’s trade deadline — find their comfort level within the system, the Bruins find themselves over-relying on their top weapons like Bergeron, Marchand, David Pastrnak, and Charlie McAvoy to get them out of this rut. Yet, the frequent brain farts against some of the upper-echelon teams headline the list of early-season concerns.
Even with a bit of early-season turmoil, Marchand remains optimistic about Boston’s chances once the newer members find their footing — as long as they limit the self-inflicted wounds.
“I’m not concerned at all. It’s early in the year, and we have a lot of new faces in our group,” Marchand said. “If we stop shooting ourselves in the foot, we’re going to be a heck of a hockey team.”
The Bruins witnessed their share of entertaining tilts as well. But they’re searching for means to entertain their fans to victory over marquee opponents.
Failed lacrosse-style attempt and Panarin-Marchand exchange cap off matinee
The Bruins exited TD Garden with a sour taste in their mouths. Yet, things could’ve been even more embarrassing.
As Swayman did everything he could to keep his team afloat with a couple of diving stops, the former University of Maine netminder finally fell victim to an assertive Rangers attack. The rookie netminder nearly fell victim to a highlight-reel goal by Kreider as he hit the crossbar in his attempt to channel his inner Mike Legg.
“I got a piece of that, yeah,” Swayman said of Kreider’s attempt. “Guys have tried it [on me before]. But it’s one of those plays where anything goes.”
Panarin put the Rangers ahead for good shortly after Kreider’s near dazzling marker. In the closing seconds, the talented Russian playmaker took exception to a few of Marchand’s chirps from the bench. The two wingers received 10-minute misconducts with Panarin’s off-hand glove throw to Marchand capping off the unique exchange.
“We were just asking about Thanksgiving dinner,” Marchand said to a round of laughter from the Boston media. “He didn’t like what I ate.”
The Panarin-Marchand exchange will never get old. But the Bruins’ struggles against the top teams aren’t a laughing matter to their passionate fanbase.

After the end of the biology class, Allison came over to give me a pen.
– (Allison) Thank you for the pen, I don’t need it anymore. My mom will bring a pen now. But thank you all.
– (Rhonda) Not at all. And the pen, by the way, is not mine. You saw the girl Lydia sitting in front of me, this is her pen. I don’t even have notebooks at all.
– (Allison) I see, then can you give her and thank her from me?
– (Rhonda) Not knowing Lydia, she will come up to you to meet you, then you will give it back.
– (Allison) Okay. Um, can we meet later then?
– (Rhonda) Okay, if I’ll sit in the dining room for the rest of the lessons. If you meet Lydia, tell her this.
Having said goodbye to Allison, I went to look for something to do with myself. And suddenly I saw Scott on the stairs looking towards Allison. With a wicked smile, I decided to teach him a good lesson after lacrosse training. And I went on to the dining room.
Somewhere after 3-4 lessons Lydia and Allison came up to me.
– (Lydia) You still eat so much, where does it all go?
– (Rhonda) Where do I eat a lot? I ate only 5 servings of grilled sausages, a couple of salads and now pizza should be brought.
– (Lydia) And that’s a LITTLE !!!
– (Rhonda) Well, okay, what did you want?
– (Allison) Lydia invited me to attend lacrosse practice because her boyfriend is the team captain.
– (Rhonda) Oh, our fox has a boyfriend (angry), of course I’ll go.
Lydia’s thoughts
<< Allison what have you done, now Rhonda is furious. I know when Rhonda is angry she can go and break bones for those she doesn't like >>
– (Rhonda) Okay, let’s wait for my pizza and let’s go …And also I’ll go change clothes.

Chapter 9. Jealousy | Scott’s Unreal Story 18+
(Tuesday, October 22, 11:00)
Scott Ridley:
I think people are biased towards nerds and the lower levels of the hierarchy in school.
Why?
Well, let’s say today in the cafeteria there was a fight for the rights of the batans and unpopular guys, and they fought, according to them, with the gay men from Lacrosse’s team, because they were harassing them.
The whole school laughed, to a pain in the stomach, when rumors about this incident spread. The guys from the Lacrosse team are really not funny, as they were branded as fierce pid * races, and they were also quite crushed.
But as the main and very modest hero, I naturally pretended not to be in business. I modestly served one more lesson, and disappeared from sight, since I had a lot to do.
Arriving home, I found that it was empty, having had a bite, I began to wait for the arrival of my sister and her voluptuous friend.
(Tuesday, October 22, 16:30)
I was already tired of waiting for my sister and Daisy to arrive, I was incredibly excited, from all lustful thoughts, and since the sweets of lustful entertainment were discovered to me not so long ago, I , well, it did not sit still at all. By time,
Going out into the yard, having warmed up a little, the phone vibrated in his pocket.
– I’m listening to you.
* Scott, it’s me Christie, I had a problem here *
* Daisy and I were going to go to our place, but we met with a friend and decided to give her a lift, as it turned out, she was getting to a friend, now here we are and a couple more guys are hanging here?
* It’s kind of a little party here, and college guys are present *
* So I hope you catch up with us, and as soon as possible, we don’t like this company at all *
– So why the hell are you going there?
* Well, we thought we would just sit and chat and come to our house *
* Since you are a man, come and take us! *
– Oh, okay, give me the address, I hope it’s not far away.
After listening to my sister, I moved to the address indicated to her, the way in about 10-15 minutes.
Arriving at the right house, I did not swear weakly to myself. Yesterday I was a cowardly nerd, and today a brave macho, I came to pick up my sister with a friend from the company of students. If it had been yesterday, I would have died of embarrassment, but today what are they afraid of, I even managed to beat up a couple of big guys at school and omit the lacrosse command, oh I feel it will come back to haunt me.
Boldly entering the house, I went to the living room, where music was playing, along the way I examined the house, which looks like the residence of a middle-class family, neither rich nor poor.
There were 11 people in the living room, 5 girls, and 6 guys. A couple of girls were from school, not including my sister and Daisy, and one obviously older. They drank, joked, generally had fun.
Among them was Scarlett, not the most pleasant person, a school bitch. Sleeps with everyone.
Why are they even talking to her?
But I noticed that my sister and Daisy are not very happy, they are clearly not comfortable being here.
They immediately noticed me, not to say that the age barrier was very different, I am 16, my sister and Daisy are 17, the girls from school are also 17, but the guys from college are probably 18 and above.
I immediately noticed the stocky, and blond, for some reason I didn’t like them right away.
* Heh heh kid, how did you end up here? * Asked the blond.
If I had been told that yesterday, I would probably be embarrassed.
This type is certainly handsome in appearance, but his voice is terribly unpleasant.
– I came to see how my sister and her friend are doing, and also to inform them that it is time for them to go home.
Everyone was amazed at my commanding tone, and then burst out laughing.
Well, laugh, freaks, this is the last thing that worries me now, in my thoughts I have all sorts of obscenities, about how to stick my sister or Daisy, and with your stupid idea of turning gray and having a drink ruined my ideal pastime.
* Boy, we’re kind of resting here, we don’t need to disturb the adults * Said the stocky guy.
* Go, your little sister has already grown up, she knows when they will return home * Said the blond.
I noticed that the blond is trying to paw his sister. How it pissed me off, I just fucked her well in the morning, and now, the instinct of primitive people played out on property, she is mine.
She, in turn, threw back his hand. Apparently she doesn’t really like it.
– f * ck forgot to ask you.
– what the hell are you?
The blond swallowed his tongue, how I spoke insolently to him. I am amazed at myself, I am so brave. Well, what can they do to me, I even wrote down the lacrosse command in fag * ry, and I can handle them, and in extreme cases they just beat me, the main thing I will not give offense.Students just adore, hunt stupid schoolgirls, fuck them, and throw them.
But there’s a catch, I’m happy to fuck my sister and Daisy myself, and the help of students here will obviously be superfluous! I even became jealous of them, it’s like a sense of ownership.
* Wow, you are an impudent fellow, do you think I won’t break off your horns? * Said the blond.
– I think you talk too much.
– Christie, Daisy, why the hell are you still here? Come on out.
Christie and Daisy stood up unquestioningly and moved towards the exit, throwing crooked glances at their friend who had drawn them here.
The blond grabbed Christie’s hand and pulled her back.
* Hey, wait, we just started to have fun *
* Shket, hide, my advice to you, while everything is fine! *
– That’s the same impudent one, I said, and moved on the blonde, taking a tray of chips from the table.
Lately, the tray is like a secret weapon for me, how many have I done with it?
Approximately at arm’s length, I said:
– Guys, though there are six of you, and even though you are so big and dangerous (sarcasm), if you don’t stop acting like a cattle now, I will definitely have time to cripple two of you …
– Literally this morning, I did this to the lacrosse team from my school (bragging rights).
The stocky blond started thinking, and the four others, as I understand it, are here for the background.
They did not utter a word from the very beginning as I entered. Well, in principle, this is for the best.
While the blond was distracted by my words, Christie jerked his elbow and freed herself from the blond’s grip. Walking quickly behind me.
* Ok, guy, convinced. And you were quite brave, were not afraid of six people, began to argue, and also to threaten *
I did not think about whether it was said with sarcasm or not, I just decided to ignore it.Why unnecessary problems?
– Thank you for the compliment, perhaps we are leaving.
They said something else, but I stopped listening.
Quickly proceeding to the exit, we left the house, Daisy’s car was parked near the road, the car was not very noticeable, an ordinary American sedan, not entirely new, but in fair condition, I always wanted one, but could not afford it, because there was no time was not looking for a part-time job.
I didn’t really believe that these guys would let us go so easily, they like to show off in front of girls, but here everything was decided so calmly.
Having got into Daisy’s sedan, we quickly headed home, and already in the car the girls began to chatter.
* That same bitch Scarlet, pulled us to some students * Christie spoke.
* These meetings usually end badly, lucky you called Scott, otherwise we wouldn’t have gotten out of this company so easily * Daisy said.
– Why are you even talking to this Scarlett, she’s a whore, you don’t seem to be?
– Or is there something I don’t know?
* Forget it, now we don’t communicate with her anymore, I heard before that she walks with older guys, but I didn’t think about that to expose the girls * said Christie.
Then she said to me:
* Now move over *
I sat behind, looking at the road.
She got over into the back seat and snuggled up to me. We started kissing.
* Hey, that’s not fair, I want to too * Daisy protested.
* Drive, your turn will be at home * Christie answered her.
Although the road took no more than 3-5 minutes by car to our house, my sister was eager to get my cock.
She pulled off my pants and panties with lightning speed to gain access to my cock, and without bothering herself with foreplay, she began to give me a great blowjob.
Not to say that I was upset about this, but I wanted to taste her pussy.
But should I complain?
Who said that I do not like blowjob. Considering that Mom is probably back from work, I don’t think I’m going to try Daisy’s pussy today.
Lacrosse
Lacrosse is a team game with a hard rubber ball that is carried across the field using long-handled cross-netting.This is a very entertaining sport: when played well, the ball flies rapidly across the field, barely touching the ground. Lacrosse comes from the Bagatawey Indian game. They played bagatavey, sometimes for several days, and each team scored hundreds of goals into the opponent’s goal. It was a tough power game, and the players were often seriously injured and even injured.
Both men and women play lacrosse in . In the men’s team there are 10 players, in the women’s team – 12. In the men’s lacrosse, power techniques and contact wrestling are allowed, so players wear special protective ammunition: a helmet with a mask and shields under their clothes. In women’s lacrosse , strength techniques are prohibited.
Field Lacrosse is about the same size as a football pitch. At the ends of the field there are gates 1.83 m long and wide. The object of the game is to throw the ball into the opponent’s goal, and only goals scored from outside the circle that delineates the goal are counted. The ball can be picked up and carried on the cross and tossed it over the cross to teammates. Good players carry the ball on the cross, keeping the cross nearly vertical and twirling it quickly to keep the ball in the net.
Lacrosse comes from bagatawea, an ancient ball game that the Indians of North America played hundreds of years ago. European settlers in Canada named the stick for this game lacrosse s (“lacrosse” in French means “staff”, “wand”) because it reminded them of a bishop’s staff. Hence the name of the game.
Lacrosse is considered a national Canadian sport, but has recently become popular in other countries, including the USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa

Praeco mortem. – Everything only gets worse and more incomprehensible …
Hospital walls, medicine smell, again …
I open my eyes, a doctor is standing in front of me.
– Well, here you are. Richard, what caused your fainting, I cannot understand… The same is the case with the girl. But if everything is in order with you, then about Margot I can only say that she may have lost her voice.
Voice … Exactly! Her scream, Alivia, and then she fainted. Maybe I’m dreaming all this?
“Where is Margot now?” I asked in a hoarse voice.
– In the ward next to you.
– Can I see her?
-Yes, of course
I jumped up and ran to her. I didn’t pay attention to the doctor’s angry cries.
Here is her room. She lies and does not move, skin the color of white sheets… I promised to beat her … Damn! Moisture ran down my cheek. I’m crying? Did it really stay in me …
Suddenly her eyelashes twitched. She opened her eyes, wanted to say something, but … There was no voice. She tried again and again, but nothing came of it. The girl began to cry, quietly, silently and so painful …
A few hours ago:
-What is this ?! – Zach ran to the bodies of two teenagers.
– Oh no … – tears gushed from the eyes of the redhead.
Only one boy with blond hair was looking straight ahead.
“Zach … Lexa … Look …” Kyle pointed up to where the man was in the air.
Both turned and stared at the girl who was hanging in front of them.
“Do you think this is the end?” Avi spoke in a rough male voice. – You will still regret that you were born! she laughed. And she disappeared. As if there was no KK.
“Damn it …. What to do ?!” Alex snapped.
“What the hell is going on here ?!” Zach hysterically.
Meanwhile, Kyle picked up the black-haired girl and carried her to his brother’s car.The sounds of the scandal grew with each passing minute. The boy carried Margot back for his brother. But he could not afford to lift such a cable.
“Hey, hello, will you at least help me drag him to the car?” He interrupted the verbal stream of argument.
“Um … Yes, of course,” Zach said. Together with Kyle, they dragged Rich.
Everyone got into the car and Zach started the engine. They reached the hospital in a matter of minutes.
***
What they told me was shocked … It was obvious from Margot’s face that she was tode surprised, but tears flowed from her eyes, her lips trembled. The hysteria due to the loss of his voice was gaining momentum. Alex and Zach continued to swear, not noticing anything around. And Kyle … By the way, where is he ???
– Kyle? – I called.
– What? – my brother answered from the side of the window and I calmed down.
He began to calm down Margot again. The marvelous red-haired couple was not going to calm down.
– It’s all your fault! – shouted the girl
– And why is it me ?! – the guy answered her in tone
– He took me away!
– You seduced me with your short dress!
– YES SHUT OFF ALREADY! – the little one could not resist.
Everyone suddenly fell silent and stared at the boy.
– All you do is swear! And you don’t want to notice other things! ”My brother swore.
– Kyle, what happened ?! – I was alarmed in earnest.
– When Avi disappeared, there were numbers on the tree … It’s like a cipher … But I’m not sure.
– What numbers ?!
My brother handed me the phone and I looked at the numbers scratched on the tree.
– Kyle, send me this. School tomorrow … Damn! How complicated it is …
Kyle managed to send me a photo before the nurse showed up and dispersed everyone. Those few hours were a little stressful, and as soon as I got to bed, I immediately passed out, hoping that Margot would be all right …
