WEATHER
In the event of inclement weather or unplayable field conditions, Legends reserves the right to:
- Reduce games to catch up with the schedule
- Finish games before inclement weather arrives, or to preserve the fields
- Reschedule games, if possible
- Convert tournament to “Festival” format without playoffs or championships to provide most teams an opportunity to play as many games as possible
Every attempt will be made to update the changes and cancellations on the website. However, the weather can change rapidly, and all teams should be prepared to play as soon as the weather clears, and fields are playable. Should a tournament be on hold due to weather, the tournament organizer will send text messages/emails via the tourney machine app. We HIGHLY recommend that all club directors, coaches and parents download this app on their phone so they can have the most up to date information.
If lightning is observed at any location:
- play will be suspended immediately, and all teams must leave fields as quickly as possible. The safest location for people to relocate is in their cars.
- Play will be allowed to resume 30 minutes after the last sight of lightning is observed. If a game is in progress:
- If it is the second half of the game, the game will be considered final and the score at that point will be recorded
- If it is the first half, when play resumes it will be the start of the second half
- Every attempt will be made to begin subsequent games on time.
If the start of the second half of the suspended games delays the onset of the subsequent game the following actions may occur:
- The game suspended will play one 20 minute running time second half
- Subsequent games will begin immediately after proceeding games (teams will warm up on the sideline prior to the game)
- Once games are back on schedule they will revert back to 21 minute halves
We will make every attempt to play event minute of every game but the safety of players and all tournament attendees comes first.
NO REFUNDS will be granted if these actions are necessary after the start of the tournament
Facility owners, not tournament organizers, have final say on whether the tournament will take place due to weather and field conditions
If the tournament is cancelled prior to the start of the event, a credit may be issued. Final determination of refund amount will be on an event-by-event basis. All events have fixed expenses related to field rental and facilities, set-up costs, insurance, personnel, and other matters regardless of cancelation due to weather. Accordingly, no teams will receive full refunds of the registration fee if the tournament is canceled.

After the Buffalo Bandits released their roster for the 2022-2023 season, there was no spot for defenseman David Brock.
Veteran who played in 11 League seasons was sent to the list of retired players. In 167 career games, Brock has 97 points (44 assists, 53 goals), 695 rebounds and 68 rebounds. During his playing career, David played for the Philadelphia, Buffalo, New England Wolfs, Toronto and Halifax. This year, as a free agent, he signed a one-year contract with the Bandits, but by the end of the preseason, there was no place for him in the active Buffalo roster.
The National Lacrosse League has announced the eight-team playoff format for the 2022-2023 season. The format will once again feature the top four teams from the Eastern Conference and the top three teams from the Western Conference, as well as the wild card winner between the fourth-placed team in the West standings and the fifth-placed team in the East. This wild card will be played in the Western Conference bracket.
The first round of the 2023 NLL Playoffs, which takes place over the weekend of May 5-7, will be played in a single elimination match, while the Conference Finals and NLL Finals will be a best-of-three series. The first two games of the NLL Finals will be played on Memorial Day, around May 30th, while the third game of the finals, if necessary, is scheduled for the weekend of June 2-4th.
Charlie Kitchen often spends his summer days on the beaches of Atlantic City, New Jersey. But one day, during the hot sunny season of 2019, Kitchen experienced a completely different experience that changed his professional life forever.
In the middle of his record five-year season at the University of Delaware – the school that helped produce NLL standouts like John Grant Jr. and Curtis Dixon – Kitchen traveled north to Toronto to play in the OJALL junior league for “Toronto Jr. Beaches”.
On November 27, in the final match between LCC “Wolves” and TJ “Malešice”, the champion of NBLL 2022 was determined. 9 teams from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany and Austria entered the fight. Each of the teams played 16 matches, I suggest you familiarize yourself with the standings:
After a 9-8 overtime victory over the Calgary Roughnecks at the Scotiabank Saddledome arena, the Saskatchewan Rush finish the preseason undefeated.
The teams were swinging for a long time and ended the first quarter with zeros on the scoreboard. In the second quarter, former Rush player Jeff Cornwall opened the scoring with a shot past Alex Book. Before the end of the quarter, “Calgary” hit the gate twice more, “Saskatchewan” and fixed the score 3-0 in their favor after the first half of the game. Calgary goaltender Christian Del Bianco was a brick wall, letting nothing through after two quarters.
Yesterday in Prague near Jižní Město semi-final matches of the National Box-Lacrosse League (Czech Republic) took place.
Czech LC “Custodes” and LCC “Wolves” met in the first match for reaching the final. LCC “Wolves” seized the advantage from the very beginning and by the end of the first half of the match they were leading with a comfortable score of 7:15. In the third quarter, LC “Custodes” made an attempt to return to the game, winning it 6:4, but in the fourth quarter, as it turned out, they did not have enough strength, losing 1:6 and, as a result, 14:25 in the match. LCC “Wolves” goes to the final.
Uganda defeating Kenya on her home soil by 9:8 in a triple overtime thriller, clinched her 30th and final berth at the 2023 Men’s Lacrosse World Championship. Thus, all participants of the tournament that will be held in San Diego (USA) are known.
Eleven teams of the European Lacrosse Federation have qualified for the qualifying tournament this April in Wroclaw (Poland): Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Italy, Latvia, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland and Wales. Two groups of six and two groups of five teams participated in the competition, in total 22 teams took part in the selection.

Arena Lacrosse League (ALL) and World Sports Broadcasting Newtwork (WSBN) are pleased to announce an agreement where most of the ALL East Division games of the upcoming 2022-23 season will be broadcast live.
“This is a huge step forward for ALL,” said ALL President Paul St. John. “WSBN will give us the opportunity to broadcast live around the world, this will allow us to showcase our brand in many homes that we would never have dreamed of.
