We become more when we are united. Together we are more
Sorority is our weapon, and the massive response of the feminist movement what keeps up moving us forward. The 8th of March is our day. It is an international and revolutionary day, with a clear political message. Today, 8th of March, all the women of the world are invited to join the FEMINIST STRIKE.
Our identities are plural: we are diverse. We live in rural and urban settings, we work both in the labour market and at home. We are gipsies, migrants, racialized. We are all ages old and we are lesbians, trans, bisexual, intersexual, queer, heterosexual… We are even those who aren’t here today: we are the murdered women, we are the imprisoned. We are ALL THE WOMEN. Together we stop the world today and we scream out loud: ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! To all the violence inflicted upon us!
STOP the aggressions, the humiliations, the marginalization and the exclusion. We demand more resources and means for the Spanish National Agreement to fight Violence against Women (which is not enough, anyway) to enable the development of actual efficient policies that allow for a society free of violence against women and girls. We denounce the repression currently going on against those who struggle for social justice and reproductive rights.
STOP The everyday sexism! A frequently overlooked kind of violence that all women suffer at every age and condition. WE WANT to circulate freely everywhere at any time. We pinpoint and denounce the sexual violence as an exemplary expression of the patriarchal appropriation of our bodies. This affects especially the most vulnerable women, like migrants or domestic workers. It is urgent to make our slogan NOT EVEN ONE LESS (Ni una menos) come true.
STOP the oppression based on our sexual affective identities and orientations! We denounce the LGTBIfobia that many of us suffer at a social, institutional level and in the workplace, as another type of violence against women. We are all women, and we are diverse.
FREE WOMEN IN FREE TERRITORIES!
We are the ones who reproduce life. We are those who are currently making possible the conditions for the reproduction of life. The domestic and care work we make is essential for maintaining life. The trap of capitalism makes it look like something unworthy. We are obliged to provide care for free or under humiliating work conditions. The care strike today is meant to make visible a set of daily tasks that nobody wants to acknowledge, neither as free work at home, nor as an undervalued employment. We claim that the care work should be recognised as a social good of first order and we demand the equal redistribution of these kind of tasks.
Today, we demand a society free of oppression, of exploitation and violence against women. We call for rebellion and struggle against the macabre bond
Bond
A bond is a stake in a debt issued by a company or governmental body. The holder of the bond, the creditor, is entitled to interest and reimbursement of the principal. If the company is listed, the holder can also sell the bond on a stock-exchange.
between patriarchy and capitalism that wants us to be obedient, submissive and silent.
We don’t accept worse labour conditions and lower wages than those of men for the same work. That is another reason why we go on a workers´ strike today.
We strike against the glass ceilings and the precarity in the work market. The jobs we get to have (when and if we do) are usually temporary, uncertain and underpaid. We are the ones having undesired shorter working days. We are the ones making the unemployment rates grow. Many of the jobs we do are not guaranteed or even not regulated. And when we actually do have better jobs, we find out that the best positions, with higher salaries and responsibilities are always taken by men. Private companies, the public sector, institutions and politics keep reproducing the gender gap.
STOP wage discrimination only because of being women. No more despising and sexually harassing us in the workplace.
We denounce that being a woman is the main risk factor for impoverishment. We are punished for our diversity. Precarity actually deepens when we grow older, when we migrate and/or are racialized, when we have functional diversity or a body image that challenges what is considered normal. We demand working conditions that allow us to develop a life project with dignity and autonomy. We demand that employment adapts to the needs of life. Pregnancies or child care shouldn´t be accepted reasons for worse work conditions or dismissal. They shouldn’t actually compromise at all our personal and professional expectations.
We also demand the pensions we have earned, enough is enough of miserable pensions that force us to poverty in our old age. We want the possibility to have pensions with two holders. We also demand the inclusion of the time that we invested in care or agricultural tasks in the total calculation, as much as the regulated work. We stand for the ratification of the Agreement number 189 of the International Work´s Organisation that regulates domestic work.
We shout strongly against the savage neoliberalism that is imposed as the only way of thinking in the whole World, but at the same time, destroys Earth and our lives. Women play an essential role in the fight against the climatic change and the preservation of biodiversity. For this reason, we defend the food sovereignty of all communities and support the efforts of women who take the risk of losing their lives to protect their territories and their crops. The protection and defence of life should be the main focus of economy and politics.
We demand to be protagonists of our lives, our health and our bodies, without any kind of aesthetic pressure. Our bodies are not merchandise nor objects, therefore we will also do a consumer strike. Enough of being used as a claim!
We also demand the depatologisation of our lives, our emotions, our circumstances. We are against the excessive medicalisation that responds to the interests of large pharmaceutical corporations, disregarding our bodies and our health. Stop treating our natural and life processes as diseases!
Primary and secondary education are the stage in our lives in which we build our sexual and gender identities. Therefore the students, the teachers, the educational community and all feminists demands our right to a public, secular and feminist education. We want an educative system free from heteropatriarchal values, from the very first years of education (where most teachers are female) to the University. We also claim for our right to an affective-sexual formation that teaches us sexual diversity, without fears, complexes or taboos. We don’t want to be reduced to mere objects. And we won’t accept any aggression in the classrooms, neither against women, nor against LGTBI people.
We demand a progress in the coeducation, in all educative fields and all levels. We don’t want women to be missing in the school books, or our History (rather Herstory) to be marginal. Gender perspective should be transversal to all disciplines and fields. We, the women, are not an exception, but a constant, which has always been silenced!
LONG LIVE OUR STRIKE IN ITS FOUR DIMENSIONS (CARE, CONSUMPTION, WORK AND EDUCATION). HURRAH TO THE FEMINIST STRIKE!!!
No woman is illegal. We say ENOUGH to racism and exclusion. We shout loudly:
NO to wars and NO to the manufacture and selling of weapons and war material! We consider war a product and extension of the patriarchal and capitalist system to control lands and bodies. As a consequence of wars, millions of refugee women around the world become victims and are violated and then forgotten. We demand the asylum of every migrant. We are free women in free territories!
We denounce the economical cutbacks in the fields that most affect women: the health system, the social services and the education.
We denounce the corruption, as an aggravating factor of the crisis.
We denounce the patriarchal justice that do not consider women as subjects within our full rights.
We denounce the repression and rights cutbacks that we suffer every day.
We demand a complete equality in rights and life conditions and the complete acceptation of our diversity.
WE WANT OURSELVES FREE, ALIVE, FEMINIST, COMBATIVE AND REBEL! March 8th is not the last day of the feminist strike:
WE WILL KEEP ON FIGHTING UNTIL WE GET THE WORLD THAT WE WANT!
#8M International Feminist Strike | World Social Forum of Transforming Economies
#8M
Message from the Feminist Convergence towards the
World Social Forum of Transforming Economies
Feminisms, social and solidarity economy for other possible worlds
Feminist Alternatives to Economies for Life
For the past 110 years to the present day, the 8th March, International Women’s Day, the voices of the feminist movement rise up to challenge capitalism and patriarchy, which are interlinked in a system that is extremely distressing. We join the international call for a Women’s Global Strike, demonstrations and mobilizations with the urgency to transform the economy, to fight against the exploitation and precariousness of life, against extractivism and dispossession produced by a model that responds to the interests of national and transnational companies and against all misogynist violence exacerbated by the escalation of fascism. We want to continue to push for a world free of capitalism, patriarchy, racism and colonialism, which is what the feminist movement continues to fight for.
We affirm our commitment to an economy for life sustained by our work, our production and systems of care. We affirm our commitment to the economy that results from initiatives aimed at meeting the basic needs of our societies. The accumulated knowledge and practice of feminist economies that break with the dominant model and that demonstrate existence of other notions of being and doing are what we as feminists all aspire to. We propose that life be the central pillar for economic justice, the ethics of care and solidarity that together will defeat the current dominant system.
We denounce and demand:
In the face of adjustment and precarisation. The exploitation and precariousness of the labour market and care work have been exacerbated during this current phase of neoliberalism. The continual increase in working hours; the exhausting search for income in unstable activities to achieve a basic level of subsistence living; together with exhausting care activities often in adverse conditions, are the rule today. For almost four decades now, wages of the working class have been steadily declining, whilst labour rights which were partially applied and which were entrenched over time ,are fast disappearing (paid rest, sickness relief, retirement pensions, etc.) thus reducing any justice in the frameworks of capitalism. In the face of falling incomes and the lack of public health care, education or housing services, people have been forced into more debt just to maintain a basic quality of life. Public and private debts operate as mechanisms that bind us to capital and its institutions, not only creating dependence on the financial system, but also conditioning our work, will and desires, and through creation of algorithms which administer data in favor of capitalist accumulation. The countries of the North do not escape from this precarious and indebted life, which would be unsustainable without the care work of women and immigrants.
This #8M2020, our struggle is for dignified, valued, visible work, with economic, social and cultural rights and justice and for the right to decide where we live, against forced migration, and the forced fracture within families.
In the face of ecocide. Capitalism reduces nature to an exploitable resource and monetary exchange. It has imposed a logic of dispossession of the land that is in turn monopolized as a reserve of value, as a base for monocultures, as a differentiated rent that increases its profits. The dynamics of concentration extends also to water, which is no longer a human right for the preservation of life and food sovereignty, but rather being privatized and sold in bottles or becomes a factor of intensive productivity in the extractive industry, whilst at the same time being contaminated by pesticides. Nature as a whole is threatened, biodiversity endangered by patent systems and technologies destroy and place seeds and food under the power of transnational corporations that condition the labourers through GMOs and synthetic biology while aggravating the climate crisis. In the face of all of this, rural women, labourers, indigenous and black women continue the fight, defending the territories with their work, whether it be paid or not. Women preserve and try other experiences of care and climate change to preserve the planet. They are the guardians of water, land, seeds, and biodiversity.
This #8M demands from the world, a recognition of the contributions of rural and peasant women in the care of nature, territories and life, and a commitment to follow their example.
Against the advance of corporate power and conservative restoration. The power of the trans-nationals with their drive for accumulation by dispossession has been extended to the maximum, while they continue to extract our capacity to decide on our bodies, territories and vital projects. A neoliberal, authoritarian and neocolonial advance that divides the world and separates it in a hierarchical way goes hand in hand with the sudden expansion of conservative agendas, which include, for example, governments that have destroyed hard-won democratic and redistributive advances over a short period of time.
We propose, from a feminist view, a democratization of power that gives way to decisions for the common good, of the world that integrally gives meaning to the rhythms and times of life, that eradicates forever the privileges of capital and its lethal anti-rights ideology.
In the face of feminicide, rape, harassment, censorship and threats. The cruelty and viciousness over the bodies of girls, teenagers and women, is revealed as the clearest sign of aggressive capitalism and the deepening crisis of male chauvinism. A system that continues to have extended trafficking and violence against children and the militarization of daily life like never before, now led to the increase in the numbers of murder and intimidation of women who defend land, water, food sovereignty, seeds and territories. In the virtual realm, threats to women’s rights are also growing rapidly, from cyberstalking and sexting, to theft and manipulation of personal data, the speed with which this violence is increasing indicates the scope of new threats. The purpose is to discipline us, to keep us quiet, to inscribe a message of fear in our bodies, so that our communities and peoples stop fighting and give in to the interests of business, mafia corporations and the opacity of states.
In the world today there are voices that bring together generations with political and cultural expressions that demand an end to all forms of violence, the full validity of sexual and reproductive rights, those which are partially enunciated in laws and policies – which are often mocked – and all those that are lacking, without which people and societies remain exposed to abuse and impunity, which furthermore seek to be endorsed from retrograde visions, unfortunately institutionalized in some governments and political groups.
In the face of hatred and violence, our commitment is to collectively root out, organise and continue the struggle and we demand lives free of violence and societies of peace.
AN 8M THAT BRINGS TOGETHER, MOBILIZES AND PROPOSALS
As part of the WSFTE, from the Feminist Convergence we walk this #8M with the clarity that this is women’s time. It is the time to put life, solidarity and care at the centre of the debates as alternatives to a world in crisis. We have put out a call to meet in June in Barcelona so that together we can share our diverse experiences and to imagine transforming economies.
Here we are, organized as feminists, to celebrate and unite as one on all the struggles to seek dignity for our peoples, neighborhoods, communities, networks, and relationships. We know that feminist economies are alternatives to the current hegemonic model, weaving and building plural forms of economic organising for contextualised and local problems, rooted in democratic and participatory communities where reciprocal care is what organizes the world of work and daily life.
In the face of the crises that the current system has, the way out requires that we think and imagine other ways of being, doing and connecting. In the upcoming WSF ET we face the enormous challenge of sharing and reflecting on what makes a feminist, social and solidarity economy possible in the face of the urgency of a global transformation.
We call on all women and dissidents, all organizations, networks and groups to actively participate in the WSF TE in Barcelona from June 25 to 28, 2020. Your reflections, experiences and alternatives will contribute to help navigate through the uncertainties. We do not have a unique set or exact answers, only the desire to transform and do it together.

(CNN)-
If you think you are tech savvy all because you know what “LOL” means, let me test your coolness.
Any idea what “IWSN” stands for in Internet slang?
It’s a declarative statement: I want sex now.
If it makes you feel any better, I had no clue, and neither did a number of women I asked about it.
Acronyms are widely popular across the Internet, especially on social media and texting apps, because, in some cases, they offer a shorthand for communication that is meant to be instant.
So “LMK” — let me know — and “WYCM” — will you call me? — are innocent enough.
But the issue, especially for parents, is understanding the slang that could signal some dangerous teen behavior, such as “GNOC,’” which means “get naked on camera.”
And it certainly helps for a parent to know that “PIR” means parent in room, which could mean the teen wants to have a conversation about things that his or her mom and dad might not approve of.
Katie Greer is a national Internet safety expert who has provided Internet and technology safety training to schools, law enforcement agencies and community organizations throughout the country for more than seven years.
She says research shows that a majority of teens believe that their parents are starting to keep tabs on their online and social media lives.
“With that, acronyms can be used by kids to hide certain parts of their conversations from attentive parents,” Greer said. “Acronyms used for this purpose could potentially raise some red flags for parents.”
But parents would drive themselves crazy, she said, if they tried to decode every text, email and post they see their teen sending or receiving.
“I’ve seen some before and it’s like ‘The Da Vinci Code,’ where only the kids hold the true meanings (and most of the time they’re fairly innocuous),” she said.
Still, if parents come across any acronyms they believe could be problematic, they should talk with their kids about them, said Greer.
But how, on earth, is a parent to keep up with all these acronyms, especially since new ones are being introduced every day?
“It’s a lot to keep track of,” Greer said. Parents can always do a Google search if they stumble upon an phrase they aren’t familiar with, but the other option is asking their children, since these phrases can have different meanings for different people.
“Asking kids not only gives you great information, but it shows that you’re paying attention and sparks the conversation around their online behaviors, which is imperative.”
Micky Morrison, a mom of two in Islamorada, Florida, says she finds Internet acronyms “baffling, annoying and hilarious at the same time.”
She’s none too pleased that acronyms like “LOL” and “OMG” are being adopted into conversation, and already told her 12-year-old son — whom she jokingly calls “deprived,” since he does not have a phone yet — that acronym talk is not allowed in her presence.
But the issue really came to a head when her son and his adolescent friends got together and were all “ignoring one another with noses in their phones,” said Morrison, founder of BabyWeightTV.
“I announced my invention of a new acronym: ‘PYFPD.’ Put your freaking phone down.”
LOL!
But back to the serious issue at hand, below are 28 Internet acronyms, which I learned from Greer and other parents I talked with, as well as from sites such as NoSlang.com and NetLingo.com, and from Cool Mom Tech’s 99 acronyms and phrases that every parent should know.
After you read this list, you’ll likely start looking at your teen’s texts in a whole new way.

Women’s Shoe Width Size Chart
We hate to be the bearer of bad news, but knowing your shoe size isn’t enough to ensure a comfortable fit. Width is also a factor, and ensures you won’t need a foot soak at the end of the night to relieve your tired, achy feet. That being said, we’ll admit that figuring out width numbers and letters is confusing.
If you’re like most people, your feet aren’t perfectly shaped. You might be able to determine whether you have narrow, standard, or wide feet by how your shoes currently feel while you’re wearing them. Consider how they feel in the footbed or if they feel tight, constricted, or painful. Either way, knowing how to pair your feet with the right width shoe is key for a comfortable fit.
Keep scrolling for a handy women’s shoe width size chart.

How to Choose a Shoe Width
Your shoe size typically has a letter next to it that refers to its width. Generally, the more letters there are, the more extreme the fit. For example, AAAA, or 4A, is more narrow than AAA, or 3A. EEEE, or 4E, is wider than EEE, or 3E. If you’ve tried measuring your feet yourself and are still unsure about what your true size is, the best thing you can do is visit a shoe store and get properly sized by a knowledgeable salesperson.
What is the Difference Between Medium and Wide Width Shoes?
Walking around in shoes that don’t fit properly can cause a number of different issues from blisters to calluses or even bunions in extreme cases.
There are two simple components to shoe sizing: length and width. Everyone is familiar with shoe length sizes, but shoe widths are indicated by letters or by simply indicating wide or medium. There is a difference between wide shoes and medium width shoes and understanding that difference is essential to choosing a shoe that fits as best as possible. Keep reading to find out the difference between regular and wide shoes and hot to measure your foot width.
Difference Between Medium Width Shoes and Wide Width Shoes
The difference between medium width shoes and wide width shoes may be small, but it is very important. If you have wide width feet and you are fitting them in a pair of medium width shoes, you are likely smushing your toes against the side or the front of the shoes, which can cause irritation, blisters, corns, or calluses.
The difference between a medium width shoe and a wide width shoe is very small, about 1/8 of an inch. But this 1/8 inch can make all the difference in the world when it comes to comfort. With wide width shoes, the entire shoe is wider, but especially in the area just before the toes. This extra space will help give feet and toes enough room to prevent them from overlapping or rubbing against the inside of the shoes.
The most common mistake people with wide widths make is ordering a longer shoe size, because shoes may feel too tight around the width area. If you try a shoe on in the medium width, and the shoe feels too tight around the widest part of the foot, then opt for a wide width in the same size, instead of sizing up.
How To Measure Your Foot Width
To determine your correct shoe size and width, you can always get your feet measured at a shoe store. Otherwise, you can use the Brannock foot-measuring device. If you don’t have access to a Brannock device, you can always follow these instructions to manually measure your foot at home.
Shoe Widths: Men’s & Women’s
The lettering system is different for men and women. A women’s medium width shoe will typically be marked as a letter B, whereas the letter D is used for a wide shoe. The letter D for a man is medium while it is wide for a woman. Like men’s shoes, not every shoe will be identical. A medium width shoe for one company may fit, but another company may require a wide for the same fit. A man’s medium width shoe is designated either as a C or D. A man’s wide shoe carries the letters E or EE. It’s important to keep in mind that size D or medium width shoes can vary slightly by brand.
Always Try It On
Having your foot width professionally measured is certainly helpful to give you an exact idea of how wide your foot is. But no matter how sure you are of your shoe size and width, medium and wide widths will always be different for each shoe manufacturer. That being said, the only way to know if a new shoe is medium or wide is to try it on and walk around.

90,000 What does TM (8) mean in sports betting and predictions?
What are TM (8) sports bets?
When is it better to bet on total TM (8) in a bookmaker’s office?
What are the outcomes of the forecast for TM (8)?
TM (8): total match total. According to his condition, the opponents must score less than 8 goals in a particular confrontation. The amount is calculated as follows: when the score is 4: 2, it is necessary to add 4 and 2. Then the obtained result, equal to 6, is compared with the total value.Since 6 is less than 8, the bet was won. In this case, the player receives income from the forecast in the bookmaker’s office. If the total of goals is not less than the total, then the bet is returned or lost.
Winning: A bet can be called profitable if the total amount of all goals in the match will be from 0 to 7. Example: 4: 0, 2: 3, 6: 1, 0: 0.
Refund: The bet will be fully refunded when the number of goals of both opponents at the end of the meeting is 8. Example: 8: 0, 2: 6, 7: 1, 4: 4.
Loss: The bet must be considered unprofitable if the opponents manage to send 9 or more goals to the goal in the main time. Example: 9: 0, 2:10, 8: 6, 5: 5.

Three real life hacks in sports betting:
If you are well versed in sports, but, nevertheless, play unsuccessfully at the bookmaker’s office, then you are committing one or more of the following three mistakes:
1.You are not playing discipline. When you lose (which inevitably occurs over a long playing distance), you try to win back and forget your initial plans. Solution: Don’t try to recoup right after you lose.
2. You prefer aggressive strategies in the game – bet by catch or all-in. In this case, the total loss is inevitable sooner or later. Solution: Don’t play this way.
3.You only place bets at one bookmaker. This often leads to the impossibility of placing a bet at a higher coefficient, or, for example, in the line of one bookmaker there may be no event on which one can profitably bet from another. It is well known that successful gamblers use not one, but 3-4 bookmakers for bets.
Solution: add others to the bookmaker you are betting with now.
At the same time, do not miss when choosing bookmaker 1xBet (1xBet) and bookmaker Parimatch, which have many advantages over competitors, as you can see for yourself on their websites:

Test: “Bookmaker No. 1 in Russia”
You can usually make a live bet on total under 8 in the third period of a hockey match, when 6 or 7 goals have already been scored, for example, when the score is 2: 4, 4: 3, 6: 1, 7: 0, etc.p.
The total indicated in the main line of the betting line is the number of goals in the match.
A total bet is a bet on the number of goals scored, it does not matter which team wins or loses.
“Total Under” bet is a bet that fewer goals will be scored in the match than the number of goals indicated in the line.
A bet on TM 8 wins if 7 goals or less are scored in the match (i.e. 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 goals).
If 9 or more goals are scored in the game (9, 10, 11, 12, etc.), the bet on total under 8 will lose.
And if 8 goals are scored in the match, then the bet on total less than 8 will not win or lose and will be calculated with odds equal to 1. That is, in this case, the bookmaker will return the bet amount.
Total under 8. Examples:
1) A bet was placed on TM 8 and the match ended, for example, with a score of 4: 2, 3: 4, 6: 1, 7: 0, etc. (number of goals scored: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7).This means that the bet has won.
2) A bet was placed on TM 8 and the match ended, for example, with the following score: 9: 1, 4: 7, 6: 3, 5: 4, 5: 5, 7: 5, 2: 8, etc. (number of goals scored: 9, 10, 11, 12, etc.) In this case, the bet is lost.
3) A bet was placed on TM 8 and the game ended, for example, with a score of 8: 0, 1: 7, 6: 2, 4: 4, etc. (that is, 8 goals were scored in the match). In this case, the bet will be settled with odds equal to 1, and the player who made such a bet will be refunded the amount of the bet.

Classification of Wind Force, Sea Rough and Visibility – What is the Classification of Wind Force, Sea State and Visibility?
Beaufort scale, sea waves, visibility range
IA Neftegaz.RU. Classification of wind strength, sea waves and visibility.
Beaufort scale
0 points – calm
Mirror-smooth sea, practically motionless. The waves practically do not run onto the shore. The water looks more like a quiet backwater of a lake than a seaside. Haze may appear above the water surface. The edge of the sea merges with the sky so that the border is not visible. Wind speed 0-0.2 km / h.
1 point – quiet
Light ripples on the sea.The height of the waves reaches up to 0.1 meters. The sea can still merge with the sky. A light, almost imperceptible breeze is felt.
2 points – light
Small waves, no more than 0.3 meters high. The wind speed is 1.6-3.3 m / s, it can be felt by the face. With this wind, the weather vane begins to move.
3 points – weak
Wind speed 3.4-5.4 m / s. Light excitement on the water, occasionally lambs appear. The average wave height is up to 0.6 meters.Weak surf is clearly visible. The weather vane spins without frequent stops, leaves on trees, flags and so on sway.
4 points – moderate
Wind – 5.5 – 7.9 m / s – raises dust and small pieces of paper. The weather vane spins incessantly, thin branches of trees bend. The sea is restless, lambs are visible in many places. Wave height up to 1.5 meters.
5 points – fresh
Almost the entire sea is covered with white lambs. Wind speed 8 – 10.7 m / s, wave height 2 meters.Branches and thin tree trunks sway.
6 points – strong
The sea is covered with white ridges in many places. The wave height reaches 4 x meters, the average height is 3 meters. Wind speed 10.8 – 13.8 m / s. Thin trunks of trees and thick branches of trees bend, telephone wires hum.
7 points – strong
The sea is covered with white foamy ridges, which from time to time are blown off the surface of the water by the wind. The wave height reaches 5.5 meters, the average height is 4.7 meters. Wind speed 13.9 – 17.1 m / s. Medium tree trunks sway, branches bend.
8 points – very strong
Strong waves, foam on each crest. The wave height reaches 7.5 meters, the average height is 5.5 meters. Wind speed 17.2 – 20 m / s. It is difficult to go against the wind, it is almost impossible to talk. Thin branches of trees break.
9 points – storm
High sea waves, reaching 10 meters; average height 7 meters.Wind speed 20.8 – 24.4 m / s. Big trees bend, middle branches break. The wind rips off poorly reinforced roofs.
10 points – severe storm
The sea is white. Waves crash onto the shore or rocks with a crash. The maximum wave height is 12 meters, the average height is 9 meters. The wind, at a speed of 24.5 – 28.4 m / s, tears off roofs, significant damage to buildings.
11 points – severe storm
High waves reach 16 meters, with an average height of 11. 5 meters.Wind speed 28.5 – 32.6 m / s. Accompanied by great destruction on land.
12 points – hurricane
Wind speed 32.6 m / s. Serious damage to permanent structures. The wave height is over 16 meters.
Hurricanes
A tropical storm is named when the accompanying wind reaches 62 km / h.
According to the Saffir-Simpson scale, which evaluates the potential damage from the elements, a hurricane is assigned a category:
- 1 and category – wind speed – more than 120 km / h.
- 2 i – more than 150 km / h,
- 3 i – 180 km / h;
- 4 i – at 210 km / h;
- 5 i – the most dangerous category – with a wind speed of more than 250 km / h.
Sea wave scale
In contrast to the generally accepted twelve-point wind assessment system, there are several assessments of sea waves.
The British, American and Russian grading systems are generally accepted.
All scales are based on a parameter that determines the average height of significant waves.
This parameter is called Significance Wave Height (SWH).
In the American scale, 30% of significant waves are taken, in the British 10%, in the Russian 3%.
The height of the wave is calculated from the crest (top point of the wave) to the bottom (bottom of the trough).
Below is a description of the wave height:
- 0 points – calm,
- 1 point – ripples (SWH <0.1 m),
- 2 points – weak excitement (SWH 0.1 – 0.5 m),
- 3 points – light excitement (SWH 0.5 – 1.25 m),
- 4 points – moderate excitement (SWH 1.25 – 2.5 m),
- 5 points – rough seas (SWH 2.5 – 4.0 m),
- 6 points – very violent waves (SWH 4.0 – 6.0 m),
- 7 points – strong waves (SWH 6.0 – 9.0 m),
- 8 points – very strong waves (SWH 9. 0 – 14.0 m),
- 9 points – phenomenal excitement (SWH> 14.0 m).
The word “storm” does not apply on this scale.
Since it does not determine the strength of the storm, but the height of the wave.
The storm is determined by Beaufort.
For the WH parameter for all scales, it is the part of the waves (30%, 10%, 3%) that is taken because the magnitude of the waves is not the same.
At a certain time interval, there are waves, for example, 9 meters, as well as 5, 4, etc.
Therefore, for each scale, its own SWH value was adopted, where a certain percentage of the highest waves is taken.
There are no instruments for measuring wave height.
Therefore, there is no exact definition of the score.
The definition is conditional.
On the seas, as a rule, the wave height reaches 5-6 meters in height, and up to 80 meters in length.
Visibility scale
Visibility is the distance at which objects are detected during the day and navigation lights at night.
Visibility depends on weather conditions.
In metrology, the effect of weather conditions on visibility is determined by a conventional scale of points.
This scale is a way to indicate the transparency of the atmosphere.
Distinguish between day and night visibility.
Below is the daily scale for determining the visual range:
Up to 1/4 cable
About 46 meters.Very poor visibility. Heavy fog or blizzard.
Up to 1 cable
About 185 meters. Bad visibility. Heavy fog or sleet.
2-3 cables
370 – 550 meters. Bad visibility. Fog, sleet.
1/2 mile
About 1 km. Haze, thick haze, snow.
1/2 – 1 mile
1 – 1. 85 km.Average visibility. Snow, heavy rain
1 – 2 miles
1.85 – 3.7 km. Haze, haze, rain.
2 – 5 miles
3.7 – 9.5 km. Light haze, haze, light rain.
5 – 11 miles
9.3 – 20 km. Good visibility. The horizon is visible.
11 – 27 miles
20 – 50 km.Very good visibility. The horizon is sharply visible.
27 miles
Over 50 km. Exceptional visibility. The horizon is clearly visible, the air is clear.

90,000 Classification of passenger cars by size and body design
Tables of passenger car classes: by size (“European classes”), body type and purpose, as well as “price categories”.
Modern passenger cars are usually classified according to two main “criteria”: size and body type.
Passenger car size classification table.
A-class | “Especially small class” of cars – includes small-sized cars (“minicars”, “city-cars”) intended for operation in urban environments. The length of such vehicles, as a rule, does not exceed 3.8 m, the width is no more than 1.6 m. |
B-class | “Small class” cars are very popular in Europe due to the optimal combination of “maneuverability in city traffic” and capacity. Dimensions of cars “class B”: length – 3.8 ~ 4.4 m, width 1.5 ~ 1.7 m. |
C-Class | “Small middle class” of cars (aka “golf class”, the origin of this “literary name” is simple – the fact is that a typical representative of the “class C” is VW Golf, which has been a trendsetter in this class for several decades ).The length of C-class vehicles is 4.2 ~ 4.6 m, width is 1.6 ~ 1.75 m. |
D-class | “Middle class” cars – this is a car for those who often make long trips and need extra comfort. Class D includes vehicles with a length of 4.6 ~ 4.8 m and a width of 1.7 ~ 1.8 m. |
E-Class | The “upper middle class” of cars is something like a “transitional stage” between cars of the “middle class” and “executive cars”.Due to the fact that these cars have a high level of comfort and equipment, they are also called “business class”. E-class vehicles are usually 4.8 ~ 5.0m long and over 1.8m wide. |
F-Class | “Executive class” are the “flagships” of the model range of automakers, which combine the maximum: comfort, power and equipment (they are also called “cars for passengers”). These vehicles are usually over 5.0 meters long and over 1.8 meters wide. |
Also, all cars, regardless of the “class”, are usually divided into “ budget “, “ premium ” and, a very “blurred” segment, “middle price range” (to explain on what principle is “segmentation” – no necessary, it is clear from the name of the segment).
cars by type of bodywork (category).
Off-road vehicles are vehicles designed for off-road driving (“classic off-road vehicle” is “frame, four-wheel drive with differential lock and clearance> 250 mm”).Today the line between an SUV and a crossover is very blurred – the same model can be either an SUV or a crossover, depending on the level of equipment.
Pickups – utility vehicles with minimum cargo capacity and the comfort of a car. Pickups are often created on the same platform with full-size SUVs (therefore, they are “part-time” SUVs, but there are also mono-drive models).
Minivans are family cars with increased capacity (both in terms of passengers and in terms of luggage – that is, with special possibilities for transforming the cabin space). It is worth mentioning separately compact vans – these are cars for those who have too much “ordinary minivan”.
Sedans are, as a rule, four-door models of cars (but there are also “two-door sedans”), where the luggage compartment is structurally separated from the passenger compartment.
Hatchbacks – this is, one might say, a “compromise” between a sedan and a station wagon. The hatchback, as a rule, is shorter than the sedan (of the same model), but has more luggage compartment capabilities (due to the larger opening of the luggage compartment “door” and the ability to “convert” part of the passenger space into luggage space. There is also a similar body type – liftbacks (the difference from hatchbacks is that the length is similar to a sedan, the profile outlines resemble a sedan, but access to the luggage compartment is provided by the “fifth door” like a hatchback).
Station wagons – utility wagon versions of passenger cars (the station wagon roof is maximally extended to the rear clearance, and the “fifth door” provides the maximum opening for access to the luggage compartment, the maximum capacity of the station wagon is achieved due to the possibility of transforming the passenger compartment).
Coupe – by definition, these are cars with a “shortened” base, two doors, two “full” seats in the first row and an optional second row of seats “2 + 2” (but if there are any, then their space and comfort are very limited).Today, the term “coupe” in relation to a car is more often used for marketing purposes and / or to emphasize the sporting orientation of the car.
Convertibles and Roadsters are, respectively, four- and two-door cars with a reinforced body and a folding soft or hard top.
Sports cars I would like to highlight separately – these are, regardless of the type of bodywork, special modifications of “ordinary cars”, where the main emphasis is on achieving the best / maximum dynamic qualities and handling.A separate segment in a wide class of sports cars is “ supercars ” (these are not modifications of “ordinary cars”, but independent models, with exceptional engine power (dynamics, maximum speed), exclusive equipment and, accordingly, price. |

Inclusion in the calculation of the number of floors of the technical underground with a height of 1.8 m or less, with a local increase in the height of the technical underground in the premises for servicing the building with the placement of equipment.
The term “number of floors” is fixed in Article 49 of the Town Planning Code of the Russian Federation and cannot be replaced by the term “number of floors”.
