Understanding Nike Shoe Sizing: A Comprehensive Guide
When it comes to finding the perfect fit for your Nike shoes, understanding the brand’s sizing system is crucial. Nike, known for its innovative designs and performance-enhancing footwear, uses a unique sizing approach that may differ from other brands. This comprehensive guide will help you navigate the world of Nike shoe sizes, ensuring you find the ideal fit for your feet.
Do Nike Shoes Run True to Size?
One of the most common questions about Nike shoes is whether they run true to size. Generally speaking, Nike shoes tend to run slightly smaller than other brands. This means you might need to go up half a size or even a full size from your usual shoe size when purchasing Nike footwear. However, it’s important to note that this can vary depending on the specific model and your foot shape.
Nike vs. Other Brands: Size Comparison
How do Nike sizes compare to other popular brands like Adidas or Converse? Here’s a quick breakdown:
- Nike vs. Adidas: Nike typically runs smaller than Adidas. If you wear a size 9 in Adidas, you might need a 9.5 or 10 in Nike.
- Nike vs. Converse: Nike generally runs smaller than Converse. A size 9 in Converse might translate to a 9.5 or 10 in Nike.
- Nike vs. Other athletic brands: Nike tends to be on the smaller side compared to most other athletic shoe brands.
Remember, these are general guidelines, and individual shoe models may vary. It’s always best to try on shoes or refer to specific size charts for the most accurate fit.
Decoding Nike’s Size Charts: US, UK, EU, and More
Nike provides comprehensive size charts to help you find the right fit across different international sizing systems. These charts typically include conversions between US, UK, EU, and other regional size standards. Let’s break down the key elements of Nike’s size charts:
Men’s Nike Size Chart
For men’s Nike shoes, the size chart typically includes the following information:
- Heel-to-Toe Length (in inches and centimeters)
- US Shoe Size
- UK Shoe Size
- EU Shoe Size
- CM (foot length in centimeters)
For example, a US size 9 in men’s Nike shoes corresponds to a UK size 8, an EU size 42.5, and a foot length of approximately 27 cm.
Women’s Nike Size Chart
The women’s Nike size chart follows a similar format, but with sizes adjusted for women’s feet:
- Heel-to-Toe Length (in inches and centimeters)
- US Shoe Size
- UK Shoe Size
- EU Shoe Size
- CM (foot length in centimeters)
A US size 8 in women’s Nike shoes typically corresponds to a UK size 5.5, an EU size 39, and a foot length of about 25 cm.
Kids’ Nike Size Chart
Nike also provides size charts for children’s shoes, which are particularly useful as kids’ feet grow rapidly. These charts usually include:
- Age Range
- US Shoe Size
- UK Shoe Size
- EU Shoe Size
- CM (foot length in centimeters)
It’s important to note that children’s sizes may be denoted with a ‘C’ for child or ‘Y’ for youth, depending on the age range.
Measuring Your Feet for Nike Shoes: Tips and Techniques
To ensure the best fit when buying Nike shoes, it’s essential to measure your feet accurately. Here’s a step-by-step guide to measuring your feet at home:
- Gather materials: You’ll need a piece of paper, a pencil, and a ruler or measuring tape.
- Choose the right time: Measure your feet in the afternoon or evening when they are at their largest due to natural swelling throughout the day.
- Wear appropriate socks: Put on the type of socks you plan to wear with your Nike shoes.
- Stand on the paper: Place the paper on a hard, flat surface and stand on it with your weight evenly distributed.
- Trace your foot: Use the pencil to trace the outline of your foot. Keep the pencil perpendicular to the paper for accuracy.
- Measure the length: Use the ruler to measure the distance from the back of your heel to the tip of your longest toe.
- Measure the width: Measure the widest part of your foot tracing.
- Repeat for both feet: Measure both feet, as one foot is often slightly larger than the other.
Once you have these measurements, you can refer to Nike’s size charts to find your ideal size. Remember to use the measurement of your larger foot when determining your size.
Nike Shoe Width Options: Finding the Right Fit for Your Foot Shape
While many people focus on shoe length, width is equally important for a comfortable fit. Nike offers various width options for some of their shoe models to accommodate different foot shapes.
Understanding Nike Width Sizes
Nike typically offers the following width options:
- Regular (M): Standard width for most Nike shoes
- Wide (W): Approximately 1/3 inch wider than regular width
- Extra Wide (XW): About 2/3 inch wider than regular width
Not all Nike shoes are available in wide or extra wide options, but several popular models do offer these choices.
Nike Models Available in Wider Widths
Some Nike shoe models that come in wider options include:
- Nike Air Zoom Pegasus
- Nike Air Zoom Structure
- Nike Zoom Vomero
If you have wider feet or need more room in your shoes, consider looking for these models or checking Nike’s website for other wide-width options.
Nike Size Conversion: Navigating International Shoe Sizes
When shopping for Nike shoes internationally or online, you may encounter different sizing systems. Understanding how to convert between these systems can help you find the right size no matter where you’re shopping.
Common Shoe Size Systems
The most common shoe size systems you’ll encounter with Nike shoes are:
- US Sizing: Used in the United States and Canada
- UK Sizing: Used in the United Kingdom and some Commonwealth countries
- EU Sizing: Used in most European countries
- CM Sizing: Based on the length of the foot in centimeters, often used in Asian countries
How to Convert Between Size Systems
To convert between these systems, you can use Nike’s size charts or online conversion tools. Here’s a general guide:
- US to UK: Subtract 1 from the US size for men, subtract 2 for women
- US to EU: Add 33 to the US size for men, add 31 for women
- US to CM: Multiply the US size by 0.65 and add 18 for an approximate CM size
Remember, these are approximate conversions, and it’s always best to refer to official Nike size charts for the most accurate information.
Tips for Buying Nike Shoes Online: Ensuring the Perfect Fit
Shopping for Nike shoes online can be convenient, but it comes with the challenge of not being able to try on the shoes before purchasing. Here are some tips to help you get the right fit when buying Nike shoes online:
1. Know Your Nike Size
If you’ve worn Nike shoes before, use that size as a starting point. If you’re new to Nike, measure your feet and consult their size charts.
2. Read Customer Reviews
Look for reviews from other customers who have purchased the same model. They often provide insights on whether the shoes run true to size, large, or small.
3. Check the Return Policy
Ensure the retailer has a good return or exchange policy in case the shoes don’t fit as expected.
4. Consider the Shoe’s Purpose
Different types of Nike shoes may fit differently. Running shoes might require more room in the toe box compared to casual sneakers.
5. Account for Sock Thickness
If you plan to wear thick socks with your Nike shoes, you might need to go up half a size.
6. Use Nike’s Online Sizing Tools
Some Nike websites offer virtual sizing tools that can help you find the right fit based on your measurements and preferences.
The Evolution of Nike Sizing: From Waffle Irons to High-Tech Fits
Nike’s approach to shoe sizing and fit has evolved significantly since the company’s founding in 1964. Originally named Blue Ribbon Sports, Nike was established by athletics coach Bill Bowerman and runner Philip Knight with a focus on creating better running shoes.
The Waffle Sole Revolution
In 1972, Bill Bowerman had a breakthrough idea that would change the course of Nike’s history. Using his wife’s waffle iron, he created a new sole pattern that provided better traction and cushioning for runners. This innovation not only improved performance but also influenced how Nike approached shoe design and sizing.
Expanding Beyond Running
As Nike expanded its product line beyond running shoes, the company had to adapt its sizing approach to accommodate different sports and activities. Basketball shoes, for example, often required different fits compared to running shoes or casual sneakers.
Technological Advancements in Sizing
Over the years, Nike has incorporated advanced technology into its sizing and fitting process. This includes:
- 3D foot scanning: Using digital technology to create precise measurements of customers’ feet
- Dynamic fit systems: Shoes that adapt to the wearer’s foot shape and movement
- Custom sizing options: Some Nike models offer personalized sizing for a perfect fit
These advancements have allowed Nike to provide more accurate and comfortable fits across their diverse product range.
Common Nike Sizing Questions: Addressing Your Concerns
When it comes to Nike shoes, many customers have similar questions about sizing and fit. Let’s address some of the most common concerns:
Should I Size Up in Nike Shoes?
In many cases, yes. Nike shoes often run smaller than other brands, so sizing up by half a size or even a full size can provide a better fit. However, this can vary depending on the specific model and your foot shape.
Are Nike Sizes Different for Men and Women?
Yes, Nike uses different sizing scales for men’s and women’s shoes. Generally, women’s sizes are about 1.5 sizes larger than men’s. For example, a women’s US size 8 is roughly equivalent to a men’s US size 6.5.
How Do I Convert My Regular Size to Nike Size?
To convert your regular shoe size to a Nike size, you may need to go up half a size or a full size. It’s best to measure your feet and consult Nike’s size charts for the most accurate conversion.
Do Nike Shoes Stretch Over Time?
While some Nike shoes may stretch slightly with wear, it’s not advisable to rely on this for fitting. It’s better to choose a shoe that fits well from the start, as excessive stretching can affect the shoe’s support and performance.
How Much Room Should I Have in the Toe Box?
Ideally, you should have about a thumb’s width of space between your longest toe and the end of the shoe. This allows for natural foot swelling and movement during activity.
Can I Wear the Same Size Across All Nike Models?
Not necessarily. Different Nike models may fit differently due to variations in design and intended use. Always check the specific sizing recommendations for each model you’re interested in.
Nike Shoe Care: Maintaining Fit and Performance Over Time
Proper care of your Nike shoes can help maintain their fit and performance over time. Here are some tips to keep your Nike footwear in top condition:
Cleaning Your Nike Shoes
Regular cleaning can prevent dirt and grime from affecting the fit and feel of your shoes. Here’s a basic cleaning process:
- Remove excess dirt with a soft brush or cloth
- Mix mild soap with warm water
- Use a soft brush or cloth to clean the shoes gently
- Rinse with clean water
- Air dry at room temperature, away from direct heat
Proper Storage
How you store your Nike shoes can impact their shape and fit over time:
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
- Use shoe trees to maintain shape, especially for leather shoes
- Avoid stacking heavy items on top of your shoes
Rotating Your Shoes
If you wear Nike shoes frequently, consider rotating between multiple pairs. This allows each pair to fully dry and regain its shape between uses, potentially extending the life and fit of the shoes.
Replacing Insoles
Over time, the insoles of your Nike shoes may compress, affecting the fit and comfort. Consider replacing the insoles if you notice a decrease in cushioning or support.
Addressing Wear and Tear
Pay attention to signs of wear, such as worn-out soles or separating seams. Addressing these issues promptly can help maintain the fit and performance of your Nike shoes.
By following these care tips, you can help ensure that your Nike shoes continue to fit well and perform as intended throughout their lifespan.

The following shoes are available in wider sizes: Nike Air Zoom Pegasus, Nike Air Zoom Structure and Nike Zoom Vomero. How much wider is a wide or extra-wide shoe? The difference between width sizes is about 1/3 inch. About Nike
Everybody knows the Nike logo. It can be found on all shoes, clothes and of course, it is shown at numerous sporting events. But even off the beaten track, Nike is an indispensable part of many sports streetwear activities.
Nike was founded in 1964 and initially named Blue Ribbon Sports. Nike’s fathers are, with athletics coach Bill Bowermann and runner Philip Knight, two people who were already closely connected with the sport before Nike. From 1971, the company was officially renamed “Nike”. According to the origins of the company’s founders, Nike’s beginnings lie in running. The goal was to make the runners even faster with Nike and thus to catch up more and more victories and records.
But how did the famous shoes actually come into being? In 1972, Bill Bowermann spontaneously came up with the idea of filling rubber into his wife’s waffle iron, thus creating the famous sole structure for the first time. Throughout the company’s history, Nike has expanded its portfolio well beyond running and now offers footwear, apparel, and equipment for every conceivable sport. Today, the boundaries between classic fashion, sport and fashion are blurring more and more. So casual sneakers can be combined with business suits just as easily as the functional hoodie with jeans or the trendy baseball cap with upscale evening wear.
After the introduction of running shoes, the range grew rapidly and today encompasses all facets of the sport. In addition, various collections of sports fashion are offered that perfectly combine function and style and are worn far beyond the world of sports. For example, Nike SB includes skateboarding, Hurley stands for surf and beach fashion, and Jordan is aimed at basketball and lifestyles. In addition to shoes and clothing, Nike offers a wide range of equipment from surfboards to wristwatches, so there’s no escaping the sporting lifestyle.
Nike Trends 2019
In the current season, Nike’s Chrome Blush Collection picks up neutral, soft colors such as light pink, lilac and nude and combines them with grey and silver tones. The Rift Wrap SE is currently at the forefront of technology and as a slipper with no lacing, it differs markedly from the classic sneaker. Soft and breathable mesh material surrounds the foot and provides a particularly pleasant new walking sensation.
Still popular in 2019: The Nike Air Max Sneaker
Nike’s most successful model is undoubtedly the Nike Air Max. As the first shock-absorbing sole system in the world, it was so innovative that it has become a pioneer of countless further developments and enjoys cult status. It is not without reason that Frank Rudy, aerospace engineer, was involved in the development of the new product in addition to shoe designer Tinker Hatfield. He developed the pioneering Air System, which for the first time dampened a shoe sole with air cushions. Not without reason, the development took 10 years before the Air Max went on sale in 1987.
About shoe sizes
Did you know that a large part of the population doesn’t know their right shoe size? Most of us run around with sneakers that don’t fit either in length or width. This ignorance is fatal for everyday comfort but also for the health of the feet. If you wear a sneaker that is too big, you will not give your foot the necessary support. Especially for children, who often get bigger sneakers for economic reasons, the bad fit of the footwear has a negative influence on the quality of walking. This, in turn, can follow for the entire posture and growth of the bones.
But adults also benefit from the determination of shoe size. Wide, loose fit sneakers lead to blisters, redness, and swelling, especially on hotter days or days when you are on the road a lot.
Do you sometimes feel that your feet swell up too quickly or that you feel uncomfortable walking too often? Then measuring shoe size could be the solution to your problem. Take your time to determine the size of your shoes every now and then – you’ll see, your feet will be grateful to you!
Determine the right shoe size – a must!
People often have the wrong idea that their foot size does not change after puberty. This assumption is not correct! Major weight changes, pregnancies or increasing age can vary the length and width of the foot. For example, muscle build-up can affect the length of the foot after many years of sporting activities and thus also the size of the shoe. Age-related bone and muscle loss can also result in new shoe widths and lengths. And in fact, 10% of the population’s feet grow a little bit further between the ages of 20 and 30. Regular shoe size calculation is therefore worthwhile.
What may sound a little tedious, however, is still advisable. Because an optimal fit supports the health, functionality and last but not least the performance of your feet!
In a nutshell
- Nike: Typical for Nike is the “Swoosh”, puristic designs, bright colors and high wearing comfort. The company philosophy “Just do it” stands for dynamics and power. Interesting effects are created by a mix of materials, intermediate sizes ensure a perfect fit.
Adidas: Adidas has a high recognition value due to the three stripes. The sports shoes are legendary, and the trendy sneakers designed for women are first-class. Good quality, anatomically well thought-out design, pleasant walking sensation and modern looks characterize the cult brand. - Vans: You can recognize vans by the stripes around the sole and their robust, stable shape. High-quality sneakers made of leather or fabric score points with bold colors and patterns, but also with timeless black and white. The spectrum of the popular label ranges from extravagant models to “Old Scool” classics.
- Converse: Converse convinces with its classic shape and the thick sole. Chucks were originally basketball shoes and gained enormous popularity. Unmistakable: the white “All Star”patch. Rubberized toe caps, metal eyelets for the shoelaces and canvas as material make up the original Chucks look. The product range includes more casual styles.
- New Balance: Round off your outfit with a casual accent and grab the sneakers of New Balance! The brand’s recognition value is the result of striking, unusual color combinations. All sneakers have the innovative ribbed sole or three-pointed insoles and of course the “N” as a trademark. How do you know if a Sneaker fits?
- Try on different sizes of the same model.
- Always try both shoes on, not just one.
- Walk around in the shoes as much as you can, because that’s the only way that you can tell whether they really fit.
- Roll your feet forwards and check if you still have enough space (the width of a thumb).
- When buying pumps, make sure that they stay on your feet properly – under no circumstances should your heel slip out of the back.
- Don’t only consider the length of the shoes, but also the width! People with slender feet tend to buy shoes that aren’t long enough because larger sizes don’t stay on their feet properly.
- Allow plenty of time for purchasing shoes.
- Examine the shoes carefully! You won’t enjoy wearing shoes that you don’t feel 100% comfortable in.
- In the course of the day, feet spread, so buy shoes in the late afternoon or early evening.
- Try out shoes with the socks which you normally wear.
- Never buy shoes that are too small!
- If you have orthopedic insoles, then put them into the shoes.
- Try shoes from various brands! Every brand and every model of shoe has different characteristics in terms of stability, cushioning and rollover. Every brand also has a different philosophy with regard to shoe width.
- Shoes that are too wide should be replaced by narrower shoes, not shorter shoes.

How to choose the right size?
Don’t even try to measure your insole, you’ll never get it right. Just look at the measurements on any of your sneakers in CM or CHN. Then take that information and find the corresponding US size in the size guide. For example, the insole length of 25 CM corresponds to US 7 in Vans. You may get a different US size with a different brand due to slightly different measuring.

Size Guide – Nike Mens Clothing– Ultra Football
STEP 1: MEASURE YOURSELF
STEP 2: FIND YOUR SIZE
Use the chart below to determine your size based on your measurements. If you’re on the borderline between two sizes, order the smaller size for a tighter fit or the larger size for a looser fit. If your measurements for chest and waist correspond to two different suggested sizes, order the size indicated by your chest measurement.
The chart gives you broad guidance on sizings within the NIKE range. If you have specific enquiries, please don’t hesitate to get in contact with us.

Shoe sizes on product details pages are in US shoe size. Your foot length (in cm) will be different than the CM size on your shoe box. CM size refers to a sizing system, like US, UK, EUR, and should not be confused with the length of the foot

Nike Size Guide | Footshop
How to choose the right size?
It is best to orient yourself by the length of the insole of your shoes (do not try to measure it yourself, because it almost never turns out correctly). It is enough to look at the size of any of your shoes indicated in CM. Then find the insole length of your shoes in the table to select the appropriate US size. For example, Vans shoe models have a 25 cm insole that corresponds to a US size 7. Other brands may have the same length as a different US size due to different labeling.Attention! Adidas shoes are numbered differently from other brands. When choosing adidas shoes, we recommend that you orient yourself according to European sizes, and not according to the length of the insole. For example, if you usually wear EUR 38, we recommend ordering that size.
If you are not sure about the size, we will be happy to help you with your choice (tel: +38 (044) 331 0780, e-mail: [email protected].

Detailed instructions on how to choose your size on AliExpress 2021
Buy clothes and shoes online it can be difficult because there is no way to try on a thing. In this article, we’ll take a look at how to determine your size on AliExpress, including dresses, jeans, jackets, sportswear, bikers, jerseys, and more.
Sizes differ from vendor to vendor
Before you start, you should keep in mind that each vendor has a different size range. Since AliExpress does not have a uniform sizing system, we will determine our size using the tables published by the seller in the product description.
Shoes: How to determine your size on AliExpress
Even if at first glance all these tables seem incomprehensible, follow the algorithm below to find the right size.
Remember that the sizes of men’s and women’s shoes on AliExpress do not match. Size 39 for men’s boots will not be equal to size 39 for women’s boats, it will be much larger. Second important note: most of the shoes here are made according to the American sizing system. Its abbreviation in the tablets is EEU / EEUU.
How to understand what size it is: for men, for women or for children?
It’s very simple. If you have found your pair in the section “Men’s footwear”, accordingly the size range for it will be indicated for men. There is no need to add women’s sizes to men’s shoes, and vice versa. If we are talking about unisex shoes (for example, Converse sneakers), then the seller will definitely indicate different size ranges in the product description. All you have to do is not to be lazy and leaf to the right place.
How to convert shoe size into a familiar system?
So, you took the first step and chose shoes, proceeded to purchase and came across an item where you need to choose the right size. As we mentioned above, in 99% of cases, the dimensions will be indicated in the EEU system. There are 3 ways to find out which number your foot size corresponds to:
Method 1 – Look at the label of another pair of shoes
The easiest way is to find one of your pairs of shoes, where the size is indicated in different formats, and match the desired number there opposite the designation EEU or US.
Method 2 – Use the conformity plate
As a rule, all sellers publish a color plate with countries and sizes on the description page.Just in case the seller turned out to be irresponsible and did not do this, we leave our table in this article. Note that it is generic and it is preferable to use the one supplied by the vendor.
Adult Size Matching Talbitsa:
How does it work? Very simple! Just find your country and the USA in the list on the left. The letter M (man) – male sizes, W (woman) – female. Find your size in line with your country and see what number it matches with the US line.If your country is not on the list and you do not know what numbering the manufacturers in your country use, there is still a method number 3.
Size table for children:
Children’s size is based on the same principle. The only difference is that children’s shoes do not differ in gender – the sizes are universal.
On the pages you can find this table format, they work exactly according to the same principle:
Method 3 – Sentiment tape: how to measure the foot?
Didn’t find your country in the table? Do not worry! You can take a centimeter and measure your leg. Please note that you need to do this as in the picture. Of course, you can take measurements yourself, but it is more convenient for someone to help you.
- Place a sheet of paper on the floor.
- Stand on the sheet. It is very important that the paper is larger than your stack. If not, then put the two sheets together.
- Now relax your foot and mark one above the thumb and one below the foot.
- Now measure this distance with a ruler or tape measure and write down how many centimeters it turned out.
You can also put your heel against the wall and mark how long the tip of your thumb reaches, as shown below:
If you are in doubt between the two when choosing a size, choose the larger one. There is nothing worse than walking in tight shoes.
Pay attention to the reviews
Be sure to read the reviews and try to find information about the sizes there. Buyers often mention if the sizes are as expected. For example, you can find out that a store sells small items and take this information into account before spending money. However, if there is any doubt, it is best to ask the seller a question. He is the best in his own products and will help you choose the right size.

Clothes: How to determine your size on AliExpress
“XS”, “S”, “M” , “L”, “XL” …? What are these letters? These questions are asked to us quite often, even though many Western brands use this particular metric system. However, even a single system varies from brand to brand, from country to country. How to choose the correct size?
Method 1: Tables of correspondence of sizes in different countries
In the event that the manufacturer for some reason does not indicate either Russia or Ukraine in its tables, this international table of correspondence of sizes will help you. You should select any of those countries that are on the seller’s list and see here which Russian size the figure corresponds to:
Method 2 – Use a measuring tape
The method described above is not the most accurate, therefore we recommend taking measurements with using a tape measure to avoid surprises when receiving the parcel.
AlixBlog tip: We know that it’s so lazy to get up and measure yourself up and down. In addition, you need to ask someone for help to make it more accurate. However, once you complete this procedure, you can record the results and use them continuously when buying online. It is very convenient.
There are several types of dimension tables. Depending on the supplier, you will find one or the other, and sometimes both. Find your measurements in the column “centimeters” (cm.) For each body part, and you will find out what size of clothes you wear. Here are examples of such tables:
Some contain standard measurements:
Others determine the size by the ratio of weight and height (not recommended, because everyone has a different constitution):
Be careful and check if there are measurements in the table in centimeters. Rarely, however, it happens that the table has only inches as a unit of measurement, and they are completely different from centimeters. Try calculating: divide your centimeter measurements by 2.54.That is how much cm. In 1 inch. To be sure, contact the seller and find out together what size you should buy.
Below we will tell you how to make measurements correctly. Let’s divide the process into 4 parts:
A – Upper part: shirts, blouses, jackets, T-shirts, etc. fix the end of the tape, and this can lead to large errors.
- Bust = Bust: Have someone take the tape measure, run it under your armpits and connect it on your shoulder blades at the level where your chest is most prominent.
- Shoulder = Shoulder: You need to measure the distance from one shoulder to the other in a straight line, taking the measurement from the back when your back is straight but relaxed.
- Sleeve / Outside sleeve = Sleeve: You need to measure how many centimeters will be from your shoulder to the wrist.
- Length = Length: You need to put your hands to your body, and your assistant measure the distance from shoulder to hip.
- Neck Width = Neck Circumference: Measure together how many centimeters in circumference are the bottom of your neck. You must tell the person who is measuring whether he is choking you, or, on the contrary, made a too loose loop.
- Weight = Weight
After the numbers are fixed, you can see in the table what size corresponds to your body. Obviously, not all measurements will be the same, but look at which size you are closer to (XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL, etc.)…), and be objective ?
B – Bottom: Pants, skirts, leggings, etc …
Measurement instructions:
As we said before, it is better for someone else to take the measurement.
- Waist = Waist circumference: Measurement should be made at the navel level, regardless of whether we buy jeans with a high waist or a standard one. It is best to stick your finger between your body and the measuring tape so that you can breathe in your new pants.
- Hip = Hip circumference: Have a helper grasp the widest part of your buttocks with a tape measure and record the measurements. Both make sure the tape is flush and not at an angle.
- Length = Length: You need to measure the distance from the femur to the ankle.
And again with your measurements, refer to the table of conformity to measurements.
C – Dresses: trapeze dresses, evening dresses, home dresses and others …
To buy a perfectly fitting dress, you need to measure both the top and bottom of the body.
Instructions for measurement:
- Waist = Waist circumference: Measurement should be taken at the navel level, regardless of whether we buy jeans with a high waist or standard. It is best to stick your finger between your body and the measuring tape so that you can breathe in your new pants.
- Hip = Hip circumference: Have a helper grasp the widest part of your buttocks with a tape measure and record the measurements. Both make sure the tape is flush and not at an angle.
- Bust = Bust: Have someone take the tape measure, hold it under your armpits and connect it on your shoulder blades at the level where your chest protrudes most.
- Strap Length = Neckline Size: Measure from your shoulder to just above your chest to get an idea of how deep you want the neckline.
Again, check the results against the table and determine your dress size.
D – Clothing for children:
Children’s clothing is much easier to choose as the sizes are calculated by year. And practice shows that this is a fairly accurate system. Of course, not all children have a standard build, so it is better to take measurements from the child and navigate by them. To measure the height of the child, place him against a wall, ask him to straighten his back and place a mark at the level of the highest point of his head, then measure the distance from the floor to the mark with a ruler. Weigh the child and calculate the height-to-weight ratio in order to more accurately determine the size.
AliExpress: It is important to read reviews
When choosing a size, you may benefit from the experience of other users.Even if you took measurements and found your size, check how past buyers say about the size fit. Perhaps they recommend taking a size larger or smaller.

Finally, we Let’s look at how to find your size for other product categories.
Lingerie sizes
Let’s start simple. To buy pants, just use the same algorithm as for buying pants. Since this garment, in fact, has no length, then only the hip circumference needs to be measured. Having done this, choose your size according to the table, read the reviews.
There is a system for bras. The girl should know her bust and cup size (A, B, C, D, where D corresponds to the largest bust size). If you don’t know which cup is right for you, take another measurement under the bust. The underbust should be measured at the level where the bra strap would normally be. And when measuring the girth of the chest, the tape should connect the middle of the chest and the place where the fastener is usually located at an angle of 45 degrees. Look at the picture for visual perception:
The size of the socks is determined in the same way as the size of the shoe. The only difference is that the socks are elastic, so it’s hard to get confused with the size here. Each pair has its own range. For example, the M range for men’s socks is in sizes 39-42.However, usually in the description of the goods, letters are never indicated without an explanation of the sizes in brackets.

Sizes of jewelry and bijouterie (rings, bracelets)
Determining the size of a ring is very easy – just measure the circumference of your finger with a measuring tape. With bracelets and necklaces, everything is the same, you need to measure the girth of the wrist or the girth of the neck, respectively.
The second way not to be mistaken with the size of the ring (especially suitable for men who want to surprise) is to take another ring and measure its diameter.Below we give an image where the correspondence of the sizes and diameters of the rings is indicated.
Please note that it is better to measure the circumference of your finger with something thin, such as a thread. Having fixed the girth with your fingernail, straighten the thread and attach it to the ruler. The girth of a finger never exceeds a few centimeters, so the measuring tape may bend incorrectly and give a measurement error. After these manipulations, find your size in the table, which corresponds to the length of the finger girth.
How to take measurements from the wrist and choose gloves:
This method is suitable for all types of mittens and gloves (leather, bicycle, evening, etc.) The process is very quick: using a tape or thread, measure the circumference of the wrist at the level of the place, where the thumb is coming from. And then find out the length of the brush from the tip of the middle finger to the beginning of the brush (where the brush begins to expand). For a better understanding, take a closer look at the picture:
Determining the size of glasses
Here are some photos that show all the measurements you need to buy glasses.By measuring your favorite glasses that suit you according to this principle, you can choose new ones for yourself, which will not be too large or narrow.
Let’s talk about bags
All bags and briefcases have dimensions: the ratio of length (length), width (width) and height (height). If you are buying a laptop bag or a suitcase that will pass at the airport as carry-on luggage, determine and write down the dimensions you need before purchasing. Manufacturers always indicate sizes in the product description. If you have not found this information – contact the seller and read the reviews for the product.

Shape and dimensions
Low-profile Nike Air Presto flexible upper fits all foot shapes. As mentioned, there is plenty of room for the toes inside to spread them out, and the low-cut design allows unrestricted movement of the ankle. The midfoot support keeps the foot in place, especially for those looking to take advantage of the Presto’s versatility as a trainer. The stretch mesh material that covers the upper is said to provide better ventilation than the neoprene on the other leg-hugging Nike Air Huarache sneaker.Nike Presto is now offered in standard widths with sizes 6-14 for men and 5-12 for women.

Style Nike Air Presto
Nike Air Presto’s modern low-top look draws in the modern generation. However, since this is still a surprisingly enjoyable return to its original version, those who fell in love with the earliest models should have no qualms about showing these bumps on different occasions and in different territories. The sporty mood of the shoe makes it extremely comfortable for running on the streets or just walking around town.
Nike Air Presto Styles For Women
There are tons of different colors available in ladies’ sizes. Some of the Nike Air Presto colorways that are offered to women are pink, orange, white and light silver. You can pair these sneakers with capri pants, bodycon pants, printed dresses and summer skirts for a sporty casual look à la Jennifer Lopez, model Hailey Baldwin, actress Hillary Duff or singer-songwriter Halsey. From yoga pants and tracksuits to leggings and sweat shorts, the most popular shades to mix and match with sportswear are wine burgundy, the always neutral black, and the military-inspired Nike Air Presto olive green. These styles also pair with wool tops and leather jackets for a chic, sporty look.
Nike Air Presto Styles For Men
Athletes such as LeBron James, Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo are some of the athletes seen wearing this shoe. The black version of the Men’s Nike Air Presto sneaker easily resonates with masculine power as the silhouette can be paired with selvage wrap-around jeans, sweatshirts, jackets and sweatpants. To make your sneakers pop, it is advisable to keep a good mix of contrasting colors in your outfit. You can always wear them with low ankle socks and cuffed trousers to achieve that extra glamor effect you are aiming for.
Known Features
There are two features that have clearly stood out from the Nike Air Presto over the years. One of the most obvious elements of this shoe is the molded midfoot cage. This aspect of the Air Presto was originally created to provide exceptional midfoot retention for those who love to run. While this carcass system continues to deliver the same performance, this feature also gives this fashionable shoe a distinct style. Nearly two decades after its introduction, this midfoot cage has been at the forefront of shoe history. Today, it remains a key value that unwavering fans of this shoe have come to love. The second notable benefit of this shoe is the mesh upper. Nike’s tactic of providing superior comfort from a shoe that allows the foot to move freely starts with a flexible and ultra-comfortable mesh upper. Again, this is a technology that continues to be a major selling point for Nike Presto after so many years. Although Nike now offers the shoe in regular sizes, instead of the original S, M, L and XL, the upper is still annoying as a “toe shirt.”
History of Nike Air Presto
Nike introduced Air Presto to the world during the 2000 Sydney Olympics with the intention of providing consumers with a featherweight shoe that provides a barefoot feel. The brainchild of some of Nike’s most innovative and creative talents, Kevin Hoffer, Toby Hatfield and Bob Mervar, the shoe proved to be unique. It was presented to the public with a very advanced concept. The idea of creating the shoes was the theme “T-shirt for feet”. Nike stayed in line with the concept of the t-shirt as the first Prestos changed from XXXS to XXXL instead of the usual numerical measurements.
Nike Air Presto Innovation Story
The idea for Air Presto was conceived back in 1996 by the then Nike shoe designer Toby Hatfield. The shape and concept of the prototype is designed to provide a top-notch fit with comfort similar to that of a pair of slippers. With the goal of producing shoes with unmatched comfort and fit, Hatfield created the Nike Air Presto with a V-neck or hollow V-profile from ankle to midsole. Aside from an easy fit on the heel, the cutout feature is designed to reduce tension in the collar area. Two years later, Hatfield teamed up with other Nike designers and got an updated look to the previous profile. The 1998 version was named the Nike Air Gauntlet, which retains the unique V-neckline with the addition of a single sheet of stretch mesh towards the front of the shoe and a rear side clip for a custom fit. The combination of these elements gave the legs the freedom to move in a more natural gait. The 1996 Nike Air Presto evolved as the Swoosh brand developed another sneaker in 1998 called the Nike Air Zoom Drive. These sneakers have eliminated the pointed collar found in the previous design, while the entire upper has been draped using an elastic mesh. The heel clip found in the mitten was also used, but this time it is firmly fixed. This shoe was packed with technical features, including a built-in, visible Zoom Air damping unit that gave users a quick ride.
Nike Air Presto First Shoe Bundle
Four years after prototyping, the Nike Air Presto is reintroduced with a highly breathable mesh mesh. The lid is also very flexible, stretching in all directions – a solution that Hatfield and other ingenious designers have brought to the table for a comfortable fit.The upper was as comfortable as the V-notch element found in the prototype shoe without sacrificing its overall aesthetic. For the first time in the history of running shoes, the different color schemes of certain shoes have been given a special name to give the essence and character of each of these variations. So then the Nike Air Presto package, which debuted in 13 vibrant and highly emblematic color variations, was christened as Presto Bill, Unholy Bunch, Catfight Fighters, Trouble at Home, Abdominal Snowman, Cruel Honey, Rogue Kilbasas, Migraine Fly Jack McKerel The Panda, the Orange Monk, Shady Milkman and the 13th model who surprisingly never got a name.
Updates on Air Presto
sneakers
The original and daring naming system quickly caught fire. The Nike Air Presto soon became a symbol of coolness and sophistication for thousands of people. From there, the shoe received minor modifications, including the introduction of mid-range variations. This running-inspired sneaker has also been the subject of several collaborations with some of the industry’s most renowned designers. In 2017, the Swoosh label joined Virgil Abloh for the off-white Nike Air Presto, revealing a style that quickly turns it into a sneaker. The back strap features Abloh’s ‘AIR’ branding detail, and the traditional Off White tag fastens via a drawstring. A year later, Nike teamed up with tech brand and independent design agency Acronym to launch the Acronym x Nike Air Presto Mid. A lengthened ankle collar and zip bring a technical touch to this silhouette. Instead of the usual black and white hues associated with Cybergoth streetwear sneakers, this sneaker is infused with sunny and rich color palettes, notably Racer Pink / Photo Blue-White-Black, White / Black-Volt and Gray / Black-White.There is simply no question of the appeal of these versatile running shoes. The fact that every reissue of original colors and updated designs is highly sought after is a testament to the shoe’s continued popularity.

Bicycle tires
Dimensions shown on wheel
The standard diameter for MTB is 26 inches.
For example, 26×2.00 is commonly used for
MTB wheels
The first number indicates the diameter of the tire, and the second indicates its width. You must keep the same diameter at
changing wheels.
At the same time, you can choose narrower or wider.
A narrower tire will be faster and a wider tire will be more comfortable.
Make sure your tire matches the tube.
If the size of the inner tube is 26 x 1.75 / 2.1, then this means that you can use a tire with
with a diameter of 26 and a width of 1.75 to 2.1.
For example: an inner tube 26 x 1.75 / 2.1 will be compatible with a 26×2.00 tire.
Bicycle cameras
First step – check which type of nipple you need:
– thin nipple: usually on a road bike.
– thick nipple: MTB mountain bikes or cars.
Select tube size:
Road bike. The standard diameter is 28 inches.
Use the dimensions indicated on the tube or replace the tire. The first number is the diameter, the second is
width.
Important! Use the same dimensions when replacing the camera.
The 700 x 18/25 tube is compatible with 700 diameter tires ranging from 18 to 25
inclusive. For example, a 700 x 18/25 tube can be used with a 700 x 23 tire.
