What happens when a guidance counselor starts having visions of people’s deaths. How does Audrey Parker delve deeper into the Colorado Kid mystery. Can Nathan and Audrey stop a series of mysterious deadly incidents in Haven.
The Colorado Kid Mystery Deepens
In this gripping episode of Haven, Audrey Parker continues her relentless pursuit of the truth behind the Colorado Kid mystery. Seeking answers, she enlists the help of Duke Crocker, a man with numerous connections in the town. Duke introduces Audrey to Vanessa Stanley, his former babysitter who now works as a guidance counselor at Haven High School.
Why is Vanessa significant to the investigation? Both she and Duke were present at the scene of the Colorado Kid’s murder, but neither can recall the details of that fateful day. This shared memory loss piques Audrey’s interest, hinting at a deeper conspiracy or supernatural influence at play in Haven.
Julia’s Revelation
During a casual outing with Julia, Eleanor’s daughter, Audrey receives an unexpected breakthrough in her investigation. Julia discloses that her mother, Eleanor, had worked on the Colorado Kid’s autopsy report. In a gesture of trust and cooperation, Julia decides to share this potentially crucial piece of evidence with Audrey. This development could provide new insights into the long-standing mystery that has haunted Haven for years.
Deadly Premonitions and Mysterious Deaths
As Audrey digs deeper into the Colorado Kid case, a series of bizarre and deadly incidents begin to plague Haven. The town is rocked by explosions and fire-related accidents that claim the lives of several residents. These tragic events set Nathan and Audrey on a new investigative path, one that leads them to suspect a connection to the local school counselor.
Vanessa’s Terrifying Gift
Following her meeting with Audrey, Vanessa Stanley experiences two painful and horrifying visions. These premonitions prove to be more than mere nightmares when they accurately predict the fiery death of her boss, Carlene, in a car explosion. Despite Vanessa’s frantic warning, she is unable to prevent the tragedy.
What causes Vanessa’s sudden onset of visions? The counselor reveals that these premonitions only began after Audrey’s visit, suggesting a possible connection between Audrey’s presence in Haven and the awakening of supernatural abilities in others.
The Pool Incident
Vanessa’s visions continue, leading her to the public pool where she attempts to save a high school student from a gruesome fate. Despite her efforts, she arrives too late, and the student tragically dies. This second death following one of Vanessa’s premonitions raises suspicions and leads Nathan and Audrey to identify her as the common thread between the incidents.
Unraveling the Mystery of Vanessa’s Visions
As Nathan and Audrey investigate Vanessa’s connection to the deaths, they make a startling discovery at her house. They find a collection of pictures depicting guns, accidents, and fires, along with a list of names. Two names on the list are already crossed off, corresponding to the recent victims. The next name on the list belongs to Zander, another high school student.
The Nature of Vanessa’s Gift
Through their investigation, Nathan and Audrey uncover the true nature of Vanessa’s ability. She experiences visions of the last images people see before they die. This revelation explains her accurate predictions of the recent deaths and raises the stakes for preventing future tragedies. But what triggers these visions, and can they be controlled?
The Matt West Connection
During her visions, Vanessa consistently feels the presence of another student, Matt West. This connection proves to be a crucial piece of the puzzle, leading the investigators to focus on Matt’s potential involvement in the deadly incidents.
The Darkside Green and Matt Kemp’s Troubled Ability
Nathan’s keen detective work leads to a breakthrough in the case. He realizes that all of Vanessa’s notes and pictures are taken from movies screened by students at the Darkside Green, a local venue. This discovery prompts the team to rush to the Green, where they encounter Matt Kemp, a social outcast with a dangerous and uncontrolled supernatural ability.
Matt’s Deadly Power
Matt Kemp is revealed to be a Troubled individual who unknowingly causes deaths when he becomes angry. His ability manifests in the form of fires and explosions, explaining the series of deadly incidents that have plagued Haven. How can Audrey and Nathan neutralize this threat without causing more harm?
The Confrontation
Audrey faces a difficult challenge in convincing Matt of his destructive ability. The troubled youth, unaware of the true extent of his power, initially finds his newfound “talent” exciting. This misunderstanding leads to a tense confrontation as Matt continues to inadvertently endanger those around him. Can Audrey break through to Matt before more lives are lost?
The Tragic Conclusion
In a twist of fate, the confrontation with Matt Kemp takes an unexpected and tragic turn. Audrey’s attempts to reason with Matt escalate the situation, ultimately leading to his self-destruction. The explosion caused by Matt’s ability claims not only his life but also fatally injures Vanessa, who is caught in the crossfire.
The Loss of Vanessa
Vanessa’s death marks a significant loss for the investigation and the town of Haven. Her unique ability to foresee deaths could have been a valuable asset in preventing future tragedies. How will her passing impact Audrey’s investigation into the Colorado Kid mystery and the broader understanding of the Troubles in Haven?
The Implications for Haven
The events of this episode have far-reaching consequences for the town of Haven and its residents. The revelation of Matt Kemp’s deadly ability raises questions about the nature and extent of the Troubles affecting the town. How many other residents might be harboring similar dangerous abilities without realizing it?
The Role of Audrey Parker
Audrey’s presence in Haven continues to be a catalyst for supernatural occurrences. Vanessa’s visions only began after meeting with Audrey, suggesting a deeper connection between Audrey and the activation of Troubled abilities. What is the true nature of Audrey’s role in Haven, and how might it affect the town’s future?
Unanswered Questions and Future Mysteries
As this episode concludes, it leaves viewers with a multitude of unanswered questions and tantalizing mysteries to ponder. The Colorado Kid case remains unsolved, with new pieces of the puzzle slowly coming to light. What secrets did Eleanor’s autopsy report contain, and how will they impact Audrey’s investigation?
The Nature of the Troubles
The tragic events surrounding Matt Kemp and Vanessa Stanley shed new light on the complex nature of the Troubles affecting Haven’s residents. Are these abilities genetic, environmental, or triggered by external factors? Understanding the origin and mechanics of the Troubles could be key to preventing future tragedies and potentially curing those afflicted.
Duke’s Role in Haven’s Mysteries
Duke Crocker’s involvement in this episode raises questions about his deeper connection to Haven’s supernatural elements. His presence at the Colorado Kid murder scene and his inability to remember the events of that day suggest he may play a more significant role in the town’s mysteries than previously thought. What other secrets might Duke be hiding, and how will they impact future events in Haven?
As the series progresses, these questions and mysteries promise to keep viewers engaged and eagerly anticipating each new episode. The intricate web of supernatural occurrences, personal histories, and hidden truths continues to expand, making Haven a compelling exploration of small-town secrets and extraordinary abilities.

Haven Episode 1.
10 The Hand You’re Dealt
If you reflect on your life something will stand out in your mind as either the worst or best day of your life. For Duke and Vanessa, the day the Colorado Kid died is significant but neither one of them can remember why.
Duke, being a man of many “resources” takes Audrey to see Vanessa Stanley who’s his old babysitter and current Haven High School guidance counselor. Vanessa was also at the scene of the Colorado Kid murder but because she doesn’t remember anything, like Duke, she’s useless to Audrey’s case… for now!
After their meeting, Vanessa experiences two horrible and painful visions. After the second one, she calls her boss Carlene to warn her about getting into her car, but to no avail. Carlene’s car goes up in flames as she starts the engine, killing her instantly.
Later on, Audrey and Julia (Eleanor’s daughter) go out for drinks and some “girl talk”. While there, Julia reveals that Eleanor worked on the Colorado Kid’s autopsy report and decides to share it with Audrey. Meanwhile, after another premonition, Vanessa tries to save a high school student from being boiled to death in the public pool at closing time, but it’s too late and he dies anyway.
Soon, Audrey and Nathan recognize Vanessa as the common thread between both deaths. When they arrive at her house they find pictures of guns, accidents, fires, and a list of names- two of which were crossed off (Carlene and the boy from the pool). The next name on the list is Zander, another high school student, whom they believe Vanessa is going after. Once they arrive at his house, Vanessa tells them that the propane tank under the grill will explode. Duke and Nathan being the “cooperative heroes” they are, rush to dump the tank in the pool and sure enough it explodes under water. Clearly, Vanessa knows something they do not!
It is revealed that Vanessa has visions of the last images people see before they die and the list they found is of people who will die next. Vanessa also says that she didn’t experience these visions until Audrey came to visit her at the school. Also, during each vision she feels the presence of another student Matt West.
Suddenly, Nathan realizes that all of Vanessa’s notes and pictures are taken from movies that are screened by students at the Darkside Green. They immediately rush over to the Green to find Matt Kemp, who is a social misfit that unknowingly kills people when he is angered. Audrey has a hard time convincing him that he has a problem because he thinks it’s cool and continues to wreak havoc, by starting fires. In a twist of faith, Audrey angers Matt to the point that he blows himself up. Unfortunately, Vanessa is hit by one of the fires and dies- just as she envisioned.
Luckily before she dies, she’s able to tell Duke about a man with a four compass point tattoo on his forearm that will kill him (sound familiar?) The pieces to the puzzle are slowly coming together and Nathan, Audrey, Duke and Julia won’t stop their search until they see the final picture.

Roy Ibonga arrived in Bryansk from the Congo in 2017. Before Russia, he had never encountered racism
The Black Lives Matter protests that swept the West did not spread to Russia, but not because there is no racism in the country. One of the latest egregious cases of racial discrimination occurred this week – a video spread around the Russian Internet in which a Yandex.Taxi driver in Bryansk refuses to carry a black man.
The victim was a 21-year-old student of the Bryansk State University (BGU) named after Petrovsky Roy Ybong. The video he shot was published by the public “Overheard Bryansk” on VKontakte. A taxi driver sitting behind the wheel says: “If I don’t like a person, I won’t take him, this is my car.” To Roy’s direct question “Are you a racist?” the driver replies: “Of course, yes.”
Later, Yandex.Taxi apologized to Roy for the driver’s behavior. “Thank you for taking the opportunity to share this unacceptable incident. I’m so sorry you had to deal with this,” a service representative wrote to him.
On the same day, as reported by the media, the driver was disconnected from the service. “Drivers who are prone to rudeness and racism have no place in Yandex.Taxi,” the company said. he closed his account
Some social media users criticized Yandex’s decision to remove the taxi driver from work during the crisis and called for a boycott of the service.0018 The BBC spoke with Roy and other black people in Russia about how often they face racism and why they think Russia has not been affected by anti-racist protests. I came to Russia in December 201 7 years to study. I chose Russia because I like this country, and I had friends who already lived and studied here. I study in Bryansk because I had an invitation from BSU. I like to live and study here, it’s nice and calm here.
All Africans who live in Bryansk face racism. If, for example, you ordered a taxi, if the taxi driver arrived and saw that you were a foreigner, he might just leave. This taxi incident [leaked in the media] is not the first, it has been happening for a long time. This time I just filmed it and posted it to show people how we are treated.
Here, in Bryansk, this happens every time. My friends also face this, but they cannot talk about it, they are silent, because they do not speak Russian.

One time they didn’t let me into a cafe, that was last year. I came to the cafe, and the guard says to me: you cannot enter, you cannot. I ask: why not? He replies: you cannot enter, because last time there were some Africans who fought. I say: what about me? I came to sit and relax. He says no. I even called the administrator, and he also said that I was not allowed in the cafe.
I have never encountered racism on the street. People are looking at you, but that’s all that’s going on.
I don’t know why people treat us this way. Maybe because we’ve just arrived and people aren’t used to seeing us yet. There are very few black people here. There is discrimination here, but maybe people just don’t know how to treat us. I think so.
I was in Moscow, and there is a huge difference between Bryansk and Moscow. It seems that Moscow is a completely different country. In Moscow, blacks are treated very well, not like here. I never encountered any discrimination there.
“I’ve never seen the police in Russia beat people for no reason”
The problems that are happening now in the US have been there for a long time: how people treat blacks and whites, how the police treat blacks. This is very bad. I think that there are no protests in Russia, because in Russia there are laws and everyone is afraid of going to jail. Because everyone here knows that if you treat a person like that, then you will be imprisoned for it.
Here I have never seen the police in Russia beat people just like that. If they suspect that you have something – drugs or something else bad – then they will approach, but they will communicate with you in a normal way. I have never seen policemen in Russia beat black people. Personally, I have never come across the Russian police, I have no experience of dealing with policemen in Russia.
- How the police show support for anti-racist protesters
If I come across any kind of racism, I just leave. What else to do? I don’t know. No need to be aggressive or anything, it’s better to just walk away. Because a person will still not understand anything, he will still always treat you like that.
I ignore it all, of course, how else to react to it… But in general, this is stress in the head, you start to think: why was I born black?
I am from the Republic of the Congo and before Russia I lived only in the Congo. I first encountered racism in Russia. Yes, I take it very painfully. What else to think? You were born black, and there are people for whom this is a problem. I don’t know why. You go outside and everyone looks at you like you’re not human. It’s very embarrassing, in fact.

I was born in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. Then, after school, I went to St. Petersburg to study at the university, and now I live and work in Moscow.
When I lived in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, during my school years, the fact that I was dark-skinned was felt every day and every minute. There was a lot of bullying at school, because children are cruel in themselves.
It was very difficult to cope with this every day, although my school was far from the worst, on the contrary, one of the best in the city, a lyceum with a physics and mathematics specialization.
At school, I couldn’t stand up for myself at all. My parents didn’t know much about it because I didn’t tell them. I have an older brother, and at school he helped me in this regard. Because sometimes the situation reached the point that he had to stand up for me and fight.
I dreamed of leaving the city, because even when I was just walking down the street, everyone was looking at me, looking after me. My dad and I were constantly being looked at. It is very unpleasant, it was very difficult to live with it.
When I moved to St. Petersburg, everything became much better, there was nothing like that there. I generally began to forget that I was somehow different from other people. And in general, I again encountered the manifestation of some kind of racism, already when I graduated from the university, started working and renting an apartment.
“Only for the Slavs”
There were especially many problems with this in Moscow. It was easier in St. Petersburg, because there I found housing mainly through acquaintances. In Moscow, when you are looking from scratch, it is very difficult. In all the ads, everyone wanted to rent an apartment “only to the Slavs.”
If in a telephone conversation people found out my name, then even a registration could not become a guarantee for them that I was a solvent person. I had to go to tricks, meet people in person, so that they would see that I was a normal person with a normal job and would not turn their apartment into a hangout.
As a child, all this hurt me very much, because I did not understand why my classmates behaved this way. As a teenager, I really wanted to leave, every day was like groundhog day.
As an adult, I stopped being bothered by this. The university has been very helpful in this regard. There I completely stopped noticing that I was somehow different, I began to work on myself and understand that my difference is my advantage, and not my disadvantage, as I thought before.
Now I often hear some jokes about the fact that I’m black, but I pass them [on deaf ears]. Everyone you meet, when the atmosphere becomes more informal, begin to joke. Now I either do not react to it, or I pick it up if I understand that there is no evil in this joke. Because if you get angry every time, then no nerves will be enough.
“My mother was declared an enemy of the people”
This happens because people lack knowledge. We have a multinational country, but they don’t work with people, no one explains to Vasya from the village what a multinational country is, what distinguishes us and what unites us.
I have a vivid example – my mother. She is Russian, from Sakhalin. They met dad in Kyiv when he was an exchange student. When my mother married my father, she was declared an enemy of the people.
It was the USSR, 1985-1986. At the university, they began to put triples on her, although she was an excellent student. When she gave birth, she had an exam the next day – she was not allowed to reschedule it. She was not allowed to properly defend her diploma. She was a straight A student, but she got a C in her diploma, because she was told that they would not put anything higher than a C.
- “These feelings cannot be ignored.” Monuments to slave traders will be demolished in London
Since then, people’s consciousness has changed a little, people began to travel, but not all of them. Anyway, most of our country does not study the world, does not study culture. Those who are okay with blacks – they have an education, they travel, they know that the world is diverse.
I follow the protests in the USA, I have relatives and friends living there, we talk about it. Firstly, I am very admired by the way people stand up for their rights. At the same time, looting, arson, and so on are bad. It may even, to some extent, obscure everything for which these protests were started.
This does not happen in Russia, because we do not have a leader who could pick it up and lead it. And the slogan Black Lives Matter is more relevant for the West than for us, because we do not have so many black people.
Russia is more characterized by racism towards people from the former Soviet republics. Those who could protest are they, they cannot take to the streets, because many of them are illegal immigrants.

Why are there no protests in Russia?
Yes, I follow protests in the USA. I sympathize with the protesters, I understand them and respect their right to publicly express their opinions on the street. As for what happens after sunset – arson, robbery, and so on – that’s a different story.
Why are there no protests in Russia? In my opinion, there are several reasons. First, the topic of police violence in Russia is not so pronounced and not so present in the broad public discourse. Even if you look at how the topic of police abuse of power is covered, it is dealt with by rather specialized media with a narrow audience, they are not read by the entire Russian society.
The second reason, it seems to me, is related to the peculiarities of the police systems in Russia and in the States. While in the United States, the police are in principle given a fairly large number of rights in terms of the use of violence against citizens, in Russia these rights are not officially given to police officers. Therefore, stories often occur in the United States when police officers threaten citizens with physical violence, shoot at them, kneel on their necks, and so on.
- Thousands of people around the world took to the streets against racism and police brutality
In Russia, most torture and other manifestations of what we call police violence take place secretly and are never caught on video, and we learn about it only from the stories of eyewitnesses or victims. And the picture plays a very important role. Even if we look at the use of force by the police during the dispersal of protests in Moscow, as soon as the photos appear, there is immediately a wide public outcry.
The third reason, it seems to me, is that Russia very rarely finds itself in solidarity with other Western countries in terms of protests. For the same reason, Greta Thunberg’s Fridays for Future did not take place here. Because those problems that are relevant for the West are, as a rule, not very relevant for us.
“K they look carefully, sit down in the metro ”
Have I encountered racism in Moscow? Yes, I did. As a rule, this is such casual racism (everyday racism) – it does not carry a pronounced racial hatred, as happens, for example, in the USA, which has a legacy of slavery that has not disappeared so far. This is such racism in everyday life – they look askance, sit down in the subway. But I did not notice any serious manifestations of racial hatred towards me. At least as an adult.
There was one time when I was refused service in a bar. There is no excuse for this, of course. But it was the right bar. I went there and ordered a beer. And the bartender just looked at me and said no. And left. But the second bartender served me. It was more of an isolated incident. More than sidelong glances, seating in the subway, rather annoying questions. Something that makes your life a little more difficult, but does not affect its quality.
In my life I have had to travel to different regions of Russia, and I can honestly say that I have never seen an openly negative attitude towards people of a different nationality or skin color anywhere. Personally, I did not experience serious discomfort in other cities and regions.
- Why am I protesting? Answers of participants in actions against racism in the USA
Moreover, last year I was on a long business trip in the North Caucasus, in Dagestan. And there, in terms of the feeling of comfort associated with my appearance, I felt a little more comfortable than in Moscow.
People there are much more friendly and pay less attention to your appearance than in large cities (I’m talking about the countryside – I was in the mountains, not in Makhachkala). Contrary to stereotypes, rural and provincial residents often treat people of a different appearance with more tolerance and understanding than we used to think about it. But I can only speak for the North Caucasus.
I experienced racism in elementary and middle school. And it left quite a big imprint on me. I studied in schools on the outskirts of Moscow, and there was certainly racism there. Including this came not only from children, but also from parents who raised their children this way.
After one of the incidents, when my mother came to a parents’ meeting and complained that I was insulted because of my appearance, the parents of those who insulted me answered her: well, it’s your own fault, you gave birth to such a child.
In high school, I moved to a rather elite lyceum, and there was a completely different atmosphere, much more liberal. There were children and – most importantly – parents with a much broader and more open mind. There I felt much more comfortable, and there I was able to open up as a person and as a person. And no one has ever raised the topic that I can look somehow different. It all depends on the place and the people around you.
” The main problem in Russia is casual racism ”
As a child, this, of course, hurt me. I often didn’t want to go to school. With age, it went away. Now some things can hurt me, of course. For example, I still remember a wonderful moment at the Faculty of Journalism, when I held the door for the girl, and someone behind me said: oh, a black butler has appeared at the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University. everything that I have as virtues, I understood the advantages of my appearance.0011
The main problem in Russia is casual racism, often caused by lack of education. I sincerely believe that in 80-90% of cases, people who somehow offended me did or said something that I consider unacceptable, not from evil, but because they had such an upbringing. As far as they have seen the world, so they understand the world.
In general, this is how I feel about people who, half a minute after they met, ask where I’m from, and other similar things. Or call me “exotic”. I learned not to be offended by this, to do so that it did not hurt me. And I really think that there is nothing to be very upset about this.
But I sincerely hope that with the further integration of Russia into the world community, these problems will eventually disappear, the main thing is that we do not have this institutional racism that exists in Western countries.

I have been following protests in the US since the beginning. And watched all these egregious murders. I feel good about protests as a rally, because I, too, seem to be at a loss, and for me it’s a shock what is happening to black people in America, all these racist antics on the part of the authorities just kill me from the inside.
But I am against robberies, arson of property. This is already out of bounds. But I am for people to come out and defend their rights, in which their truth is infringed. We are all human and we are all equal.
I think that protests against racism do not take place in Russia, because in those countries where they take place, there are still more black people.
Of course, we have the same problem, but still not to the same extent as in other countries where protests are taking place now. Secondly, in Russia everything is always hushed up, we are used to hushing up problems.
Of course, I have experienced racism, especially in childhood – children are all cruel. Especially in Stary Oskol, when in the city blacks could be counted on the fingers of one hand.
I was still a little lucky, because I had a fairly tolerant class, and we have come a long way together since the kindergarten itself, they were all used to it. But the rest of the school called me very offensive words. It was racism, yes, I was insulted, condemned.
Uneducated curiosity
When I moved to Moscow to play in a Moscow club, I was 12 years old. Racism has definitely gone down. In Moscow, I was more faced not with racism, but with some kind of ill-mannered curiosity. Like: “What are you, from Africa?”, Something else, such unpleasant questions. For many, such questions do not even seem offensive.
Basically, I either respond with sarcasm or ignore it. Because I see no reason to answer such people. I will not prove anything to them and tell them, it seems to me that it is useless. There were a couple of cases when I asked again: do you think this question is decent, adequate? And people answered: what is it?
Basketball clubs are already used to having black girls, and as a rule there is no racism as such. But when you play for the [Russian] national team, there are always some comments in public: is it definitely Russian, have you mixed up anything? Some kind of laughter is caused by the fact that a dark-skinned girl plays for Russia.
- What monuments do Black Lives Matter activists want to demolish? And why?
I think that in order to cope with racism in our country, it is necessary to instill tolerance towards other nationalities from childhood. Remove the word “Negro” from the vocabulary as much as possible, especially from the vocabulary of parents when they tell their children about other nations.
And it is necessary to correctly tell from childhood that they are called “African American” or “black”. We are black, and there is no need to call us anything else. We are not blacks.
The problem is that people don’t see it as a problem. They think that it is normal that we call it that in Russia. I recently spoke with an adult, and he used the word “negrito”. And he says: well, it’s customary for us, we called it that from childhood. We just have such an upbringing in Russia that it is considered the norm.
When I was a child, it all hurt me a lot. I just steamed. I just thought: why is that? The older I got, the easier it was. It doesn’t matter now, to be honest.
It seems to me that in childhood you always take everything to heart. You do not understand why it is so, why not in a different way. As I got older, I found the answers to the questions, and everything fell into place.
Why me? Why is my skin color different? Why is everyone paying attention to this? Why are they calling me names? I didn’t do anything. The answers are simple: I realized that it was not about me, but about the environment. The people who are next to me.

I was born in Moscow. I must have experienced racism, yes. How depressed was I? Rather, not so much. But the fact that my appearance, perhaps, was not quite familiar to the local culture, then yes, it was.
I felt that I stood out, or that I was being singled out. Was it always offensive? No not always. There were different situations, but they did not happen so often.
It was very rare for someone to say something like “black”. They were mostly uneducated people. There were different situations, it was unpleasant. But more often than not, some skirmishes were related to my personality, and not to my skin color, to be honest. Although, of course, “chocolates” and so on, that’s all there was.
“Tesak lived in my neighborhood in the old days”
But in general, there is a feeling that it is simply wild for people to perceive [black people], especially in some places outside of Moscow. For example, I was in the Novgorod region, and there people took pictures with me. It’s hard to call it aggressive racism, it’s just some kind of problem.
[Neo-Nazi] Maxim Martsinkevich (Tesak – BBC ) lived in my area in the old days, and yes, I was afraid to meet one of the neo-Nazis in the area, but I am generally shy. When I was a teenager, Tesak already seemed to be sitting, but there were a lot of stories, and it was scary.
For me, the topic of protests in the USA is very acute, because I live there. Now I am in Russia, but I live in two countries, the last time I was in the USA last year.
It is important to understand that America is a different country, there are different processes. In America, there is a certain political and social structure, which in fact is in great need of a new stage. This applies not only to the rights of blacks, it applies to the entire capitalist system as a whole.
Therefore, the reaction that takes place there is not at all surprising, because people there are suppressed by a certain system that has nothing to do with the Russian system.
- Death of George Floyd. Three facts that explain why protesters in the US are unhappy
Racism in the US has been going on since colonial times. Now some of the African Americans are simply angry at the white population, while others are already peering into the problem of capitalism and the American idea. The American idea is in capitalism, and racism is only a consequence of it. That is the problem.
“Real racism in Russia – against people from Central Asia”
The situation in Russia is different. Russian men or women sometimes feel like American white colonizers – “I am a white man.” Ignorance of history can lead to some sense of superiority that is far-fetched.
Usually it’s just funny, it’s hard to take it seriously. Because it does not have any special oppression. Maybe I feel this way about it, because personally it doesn’t hurt me and personally it doesn’t block the air for me in any way.
After all, the country is in a different situation for me personally to somehow infringe on this racism. Maybe in America he would have infringed on me if I were there now. It is black racism towards black people.
But this is still not the situation of our country. Not in our country was the slavery of Africans. It can’t hurt here, because that’s a different story.
It seems to me that there is racism in Russia, but not in relation to blacks, of whom there are not so many, but rather to other nations. To people from Central Asia, for example, towards whom real racism is manifested. And why there are no protests on this topic in Russia is a very interesting question.
It is clear that people may not perceive someone from other countries, look at them as a curiosity, but this is probably due to lack of education.
But the racism that really exists, which is a real problem and which really suppresses the people who live here, is racism against visitors from Central Asia.
This is a problem that needs to be solved a long time ago. And perhaps there are no protests in Russia, because society is not quite ripe to pay attention to this.

Monologue calls
Which of you dials each other’s phone number more often? If there is an obvious imbalance on the face, this is not a good sign. In our gadgetized age, these simple things are very indicative: who calls whom first and sends SMS messages, writes letters and hangs funny cats on the wall.
How to forget a loved one
Even if your man is happy to hear from you, but he does not need to dial your number himself – just like that or for an insignificant matter – something is wrong here! How to understand that a guy doesn’t care about you? There is an obvious “telephone rule”: if you didn’t answer the call, and he didn’t ask why, you know: he put a big and thick “nothing” on you. Exactly the one that feels for you.
Freeze
Do you feel like your relationship is not moving or developing? You met on the Internet, every evening you have dates on Skype, and everything seems to be fine. How do you know if a guy doesn’t care about you? A bad sign: you haven’t received an invitation to take a walk at least to the notorious Van Gogh exhibition for a couple of months. If you are work colleagues and go to a business lunch together every day, but on weekends he always has business and plans in which you do not participate, you can go on the attack and take the initiative to clear your conscience. But be prepared for the fact that he has a hockey game with an amateur team, and it is not known which stadium, so “he-can-not-sorry-invite-you.” Good advice: find yourself another comrade to eat borscht and cutlets together on a working afternoon!
Who is there?
The topics that a person raises in a conversation say a lot both about what he breathes and about his attitude towards the interlocutor. You should be alerted if a man does not ask you about your favorite music and films, does not ask what flowers you like, what you were fond of in childhood, what you do at work, how you spend your free time. If you both have active social media profiles, you have to admit, it’s a bit strange if he doesn’t like or comment on your posts. It’s also significant when he knows you’re a vegetarian but takes you to a restaurant where you literally have nothing to eat. Also, a guy doesn’t give a damn about a girl if he systematically tells her about others. After his stories about ex-girlfriends – and no matter in what vein he will speak about them – all doubts about true feelings for you can be considered dispelled! He does not hear you, does not feel, does not understand, does not respect and, of course, does not love.
Peacock instinct
Narcissistic and selfish people are not capable of deep feelings. But if a man does not try to show himself handsome in front of a woman of interest to him, does not try to “fluff his feathers”, convey to her the idea that he has many virtues and rare spiritual qualities – this is also very strange. Even worse, if he allows himself to loosen up in your presence and regularly complains about fate and bad people who allegedly constantly create problems for him. In this case, the guy does not care about the girl with almost one hundred percent probability. Beating on pity in order to arouse a desire to save is somewhat different than showing oneself worthy of love and respect. Believe me, they are not driven by love! Perhaps this is a desire to find grateful ears into which he will pour out his resentment against this cruel world. In general, the prognosis is unfavorable.
The secret behind seven seals
You only go on dates and only together. He avoids the opportunity to be in the company of your friends and is not eager to introduce you to the circle of people close to him. There is no talk of meeting parents. As a result, you alone go to your own sister’s wedding, because he is “shy”, “does not know anyone there”, and in general – “hates weddings”. How do you know if a guy doesn’t care about you? As an example, a fairly typical situation: someone calls him on the phone, and the man sitting opposite you, when asked where he is and with whom, casually answers: “Yes, with no one.” If you don’t want to be exactly “nobody” in the life of another person, it’s time to interrupt this story here and now. There will be no Happyend.
Weird humor
It also happens that you seem to be together, but at the same time you feel like a loner in the company. Your lover actively flirts with other young ladies, does not take care of you, and if he lost sight of you at a party, he does not look for, is not interested in what you are doing and whether you are bored. Things are even worse if he does not take your side in public disputes, and if you are frankly wrong, he does not try to smooth things over. Here’s how to understand that a guy doesn’t care about you: he watches with interest how you sit in a puddle. If someone rudely runs into you or teases you, he does not give out any sharp reaction, or even he himself does not mind making an offensive joke about you. This is no good! A man in love cannot be indifferent to the feelings and experiences of his chosen one.
Greedy beef
It may be normal in some countries for a couple to have separate wallets, but in our culture it is still accepted that a man pays at least for your coffee in « Chocolate girl.” Of course, the strength of feelings is not measured by the amount of money a lover spends, but the psychology of a man is simple: he readily invests in what he is truly interested in. Believe me, a normal man has a need to invest in a woman who he wants to win, or whom he already considers his own! The exception is pathological greedy people, but it turns out to crack them right away. A greedy man is not sexy. It must be ruthlessly abandoned. A man with whom it makes sense to build a relationship is generous and ready to throw the whole world at the feet of his beloved, even if he is not rich. Honestly, he will find an opportunity to give you gifts and pleasant surprises! He will offer his help and try to anticipate your desires. If this does not happen, everything is sad, obviously, the guy does not care about the girl.
Anti-sex
It is clear that people have different needs and opportunities for sex. But the relationship that is being established is the very case when desire is looking for an opportunity, and indifference is looking for excuses. Here’s how to understand that a guy doesn’t give a damn about you: “your” man avoids intimacy in every possible way, he has a thousand urgent things to do, he is constantly either tired or not in the mood. If he behaved in this way or somehow similar – something is wrong here! This does not mean at all that he has another. He just doesn’t care about you as a woman. Another case is if a man is gentle and affectionate before sex and immediately loses interest in you after. If at the same time you notice that he, in principle, has become less likely to touch you – he does not try to hug you, take your hand, his kisses are chilly, and your attempts to caress are ignored – get ready for parting! It’s sad, but it’s unlikely that anything will help here, and it’s not about you or your “technique”. There are practically no chances to rekindle a fading passion, no matter how numerous “geisha trainings” convince you of the opposite. And to light a fire that does not flare up right away is hopelessness, not worth your time. You don’t want to be in the friend zone, do you?
The patient is more dead than alive
Everything was fine with you, as you thought. And suddenly he began to avoid meetings, forget about your requests, and instead of a clear reason for his forgetfulness, he presents some helpless stories from the series “walked-fell-woke up-gypsum”. A man who is preparing to “merge” from a relationship suddenly deteriorates in health: he regularly twists his legs, catches a sore throat, and poisons himself with potatoes at McDonald’s. Terrible illnesses fall on his grandmothers, aunts, friends and aquarium fish: you need to accompany or take them to hospitals, wait for the ambulance to arrive, wander around the city in search of a rare medicine. If this happens once, then you can understand and forgive, but all together these are sure signs that the guy doesn’t give a damn about the girl. Catching him on incoherent fictions? This is not a royal business! It’s just time to say goodbye. No matter how sad.
Whoever calls names – he calls himself that!
When everything is smooth in a relationship, and you communicate nicely, it may seem to you that “everything is going according to plan.” Is this really so – the first quarrel will show. Just do not deliberately provoke a conflict! Sooner or later, in any couple, a situation occurs when each of the two considers himself right, and the other is not. How you survive an acute situation, how reconciliation will take place, what words you choose to dot all the “Yo”, will show your man’s true attitude towards you, and will also tell a lot about his character. So how do you know if a guy doesn’t care about you? If it is important for him that his word be the last, if in the heat of the moment he allows himself to offend you, getting personal, if he gets deeply offended and forces you to humiliate yourself, blackmails you with a break, puts some conditions for reconciliation – just turn around and leave. Still, from a strong man one should expect condescension to female weaknesses and whims. In the same situation, there is not a word about love for anyone, except for himself – a beautiful alpha male who needs to be served and please in everything. Such a man is either a notorious slut, or a weakling. In any case, it is not suitable for building long and lasting relationships.
What to do if a guy doesn’t care about you
So, the sad truth has become obvious to you. He doesn’t love you. And it doesn’t matter how long you’ve been together, how far your relationship has gone. Alas, but it happens. Not every union of a man and a woman ends with a fairy tale where the characters live happily ever after. Remember the ancient Indian proverb: “The horse is dead – get off!”. What to do if a guy doesn’t care about you? Then you have two ways.
The first one is to suffer properly, to get sick, to gain valuable experience for yourself – now you know how to understand that a guy doesn’t care about you. And then – perk up and again plunge into an ebullient life, in which there will be wonderful adventures, interesting acquaintances and new relationships. And they will – do not even dare to doubt!
The second is the path in accordance with the age-old female mistake: to realize oneself only through a man who is nearby. But if you are sure that you have just lost the love of the man of your dreams, start the operation, codenamed “Love him again.” There are no guarantees that everything will work out, and it is not known how long it will take. But you will do deep work on mistakes, already knowing in which cases a guy doesn’t give a damn about a girl, and work on yourself. Because you are self-worth. There is no relationship you could invest in – invest in yourself twice. And now, the task for the next five years has already changed constructively! – become a super woman, the best version of yourself. And then you’ll see who you need next to you. Maybe superman? For harmony.
I’ll tell you exactly what you can’t do in any case if the guy doesn’t give a damn about the girl:
- don’t be humiliated
- don’t complain
- don’t shout
- don’t cry in front of him.
How could it help if he doesn’t care about you?
- You also don’t need to take him out for a “frank conversation”: why find out from him that everything is over between you, if you yourself realized that the guy doesn’t give a damn about you?
- Do not bother him with calls and sms. You will only raise the degree of irritation with your person and convince the person of your inadequacy.
