City health centers are operated by the Department of Public Health.
Eight City health centers provide a full range of primary medical and support services to registered patients. The health centers accept urgent care (walk-in) patients but require appointments for certain services. Call ahead to make sure the service you need is available when you plan to visit.
Registered patients can use our secure HealthCenterConnect Patient Portal to get online information about their care, appointments, and health education.
Translation and interpretation services are available for health center patients and their families.
COVID-19 vaccine
Philadelphians that are eligible can get the COVID-19 vaccine for free at many City health centers and health annexes across the city.
Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs)
