Who is Fiddlesticks in League of Legends. What are Fiddlesticks’ origins and abilities. How does Fiddlesticks spread terror across Runeterra. What makes Fiddlesticks one of the most feared champions in LoL lore.
The Enigmatic Origins of Fiddlesticks
Fiddlesticks is one of the most mysterious and terrifying entities in the world of Runeterra. Its true origins are shrouded in myth and legend, with numerous conflicting stories attempting to explain its existence. Some believe Fiddlesticks was accidentally unleashed by an inexperienced mage dabbling in forbidden magic. Others claim it was once an innocent farmboy unjustly blamed for a poor harvest and sacrificed to crows, only to return as a vengeful demon.
Despite the abundance of tales, the truth behind Fiddlesticks’ creation remains unknown. What is certain is that Fiddlesticks is an ancient being, one of the oldest and most primal forces of fear in existence. It predates human civilization, lurking in the shadows since time immemorial.
Theories on Fiddlesticks’ Nature
- Primordial demon of fear
- Manifestation of humanity’s collective nightmares
- Eldritch entity from beyond mortal comprehension
- Fragment of a long-forgotten god of terror
Is Fiddlesticks truly alive in the conventional sense? While it exhibits a form of consciousness, Fiddlesticks appears to be a creature of pure instinct driven solely by an insatiable hunger for fear. It doesn’t seem to truly comprehend its own existence or the words it mimics from its victims.
The Terrifying Return of the Ancient Fear
For centuries, Fiddlesticks was relegated to the realm of myth and children’s tales. However, recent events have proven its existence all too real. A wave of unexplained disappearances and chilling sightings in the Demacian hinterlands marked Fiddlesticks’ return to the mortal world.
Why has Fiddlesticks chosen to resurface now? The demon appears drawn to areas rife with paranoia and social tension. The growing unrest in Demacia, with its anti-magic policies and factional conflicts, has created a perfect feeding ground for the ancient terror.
Signs of Fiddlesticks’ Presence
- Mysterious disappearances
- Unexplained crop failures
- Eerie sounds in the night
- Sightings of an unnatural scarecrow figure
- Survivors driven mad with fear
How does one survive an encounter with Fiddlesticks? The grim truth is that few do. Those unfortunate enough to cross paths with the demon are often found catatonic or babbling incoherently about their deepest fears come to life. The luckiest victims are those who don’t survive to relive their terror.
The Nightmarish Appearance of Fiddlesticks
Fiddlesticks’ appearance is the stuff of nightmares, a patchwork horror cobbled together from scraps and shadows. Its most common form resembles a grotesque scarecrow, but this is merely a vessel for the true horror that lurks within.
The demon’s “face” is a burlap sack with crude holes for eyes that glow an otherworldly red. Its mouth is lined with rows of jagged metal teeth, perfect for tearing into the flesh and minds of its victims. A noose-like rope secures the sack, adorned with three mysterious keys.
Fiddlesticks’ body is a mass of twisted metal and rotting cloth, with multiple arms of rusted scrap jutting out at unnatural angles. One arm is even attached by a rusted sawblade embedded in its shoulder. Red-tinged shadows writhe across its form, occasionally coalescing into additional limbs.
The True Form of Fear
At the core of Fiddlesticks’ scarecrow body lies a cage containing its true essence. Within writhes a chaotic mass of red eyes and shadowy forms, the pure distillation of terror itself. This is the wellspring from which Fiddlesticks draws its power and spawns its demonic crows.
Can Fiddlesticks change its appearance? Indeed, the scarecrow form is merely one of many possible incarnations. The demon adapts its vessel to the materials available in its hunting grounds. In the frigid Freljord, for example, Fiddlesticks has been known to construct a body from discarded helmets, shields, wood, and animal furs.
The Inscrutable Nature of Fiddlesticks
Understanding the mind of Fiddlesticks is an exercise in futility, for it possesses no mind in the human sense. The demon is a being of pure emotional instinct, driven by an all-consuming need to feed on fear. It doesn’t comprehend its own existence or the words it parrots from its victims.
Fiddlesticks is a primordial force given form, born from the negative energy inherent to all life. It embodies the primal terror that has haunted humanity since the dawn of consciousness. In many ways, Fiddlesticks is fear itself given terrifying agency.
Key Aspects of Fiddlesticks’ Nature
- Lacks true self-awareness
- Driven purely by instinct
- Mimics the words and actions of its victims
- Embodies the concept of fear itself
- Exists as long as fear exists in the world
Does Fiddlesticks have any semblance of morality? No, the demon operates beyond human concepts of good and evil. It is a force of nature, as amoral as a hurricane or earthquake. Fiddlesticks simply is, and it must feed to continue its existence.
The Supernatural Abilities of Fiddlesticks
As a primordial demon, Fiddlesticks possesses abilities far beyond mortal comprehension. Its powers are intrinsically linked to fear, allowing it to feed on and manipulate terror in myriad ways.
Demonic Physiology
Fiddlesticks is not bound by the laws of physical reality. As a spirit, it cannot be harmed by conventional weapons unless they possess magical properties. This incorporeal nature allows Fiddlesticks to manifest and vanish at will, making it an elusive and terrifying foe.
Emotional Feeding
The demon sustains itself by absorbing the fear it induces in its victims. This ability allows Fiddlesticks to exist indefinitely as long as there is fear to be harvested. More than simple sustenance, this fear empowers Fiddlesticks and fuels its supernatural abilities.
Fear Manipulation
Fiddlesticks possesses an innate understanding of fear in all its forms. It can sense the deepest terrors lurking in a person’s psyche and bring those nightmares to life. This ability makes Fiddlesticks a master of psychological warfare, capable of breaking the strongest minds.
Crow Manifestation
The demon can manifest a murder of spectral crows from its essence. These birds serve as extensions of Fiddlesticks’ will, scouting for prey and sowing terror in their wake. The crows can also be used as weapons, swarming victims in a flurry of shadowy beaks and talons.
How does one combat a being like Fiddlesticks? Traditional weapons and tactics are largely ineffective against this primordial terror. The key to surviving Fiddlesticks lies in mastering one’s own fear and denying the demon its sustenance. Easier said than done when faced with the embodiment of terror itself.
Fiddlesticks’ Impact on Runeterra
The return of Fiddlesticks has sent shockwaves through the world of Runeterra. Its presence has upset the delicate balance of power between nations and mystical forces alike. The demon’s activities have drawn the attention of various factions, each with their own agenda regarding the ancient terror.
Demacia’s Growing Paranoia
The kingdom of Demacia, already grappling with internal strife over its anti-magic policies, now faces a threat that defies conventional understanding. Fiddlesticks’ attacks on rural communities have fueled paranoia and distrust, further destabilizing the nation.
Noxus’ Interest
The empire of Noxus sees potential in harnessing Fiddlesticks’ power for their own ends. Some factions within the Noxian military seek to capture or control the demon, viewing it as a potential weapon of conquest.
The Spirit Realm’s Disturbance
Fiddlesticks’ activities have caused ripples in the spirit realm, drawing the attention of other supernatural entities. Some spirits view the demon as a threat to the cosmic balance, while others see an opportunity in the chaos it creates.
Impact on Local Communities
Rural villages and small towns bear the brunt of Fiddlesticks’ terror. Communities are torn apart by fear and suspicion, with neighbors turning against one another in paranoid witch hunts. The psychological scars left by the demon’s passing linger long after it has moved on to new hunting grounds.
Will Fiddlesticks’ return spark a new era of conflict in Runeterra? The demon’s presence has certainly added a volatile element to an already tense geopolitical landscape. As nations and factions scramble to address this ancient threat, the potential for wider conflict looms large.
Fiddlesticks in League of Legends Gameplay
In the game League of Legends, Fiddlesticks is a unique and terrifying champion that embodies its lore as a fear-inducing demon. Its playstyle revolves around ambush tactics and psychological warfare, keeping enemies constantly on edge.
Key Abilities
- Terrify: Fiddlesticks causes an enemy to flee in terror, unable to control their actions.
- Bountiful Harvest: The demon drains the life force from nearby enemies, sustaining itself while dealing damage.
- Reap: Fiddlesticks swings its scythe, damaging and silencing enemies caught in its arc.
- Crowstorm (Ultimate): Fiddlesticks channels briefly before bursting forth in a murder of crows, dealing massive area damage.
How does one effectively play Fiddlesticks? The key lies in clever positioning and timing. A skilled Fiddlesticks player uses the champion’s passive to remain undetected, setting up devastating ambushes with Crowstorm to turn the tide of battle.
Strengths and Weaknesses
Fiddlesticks excels at area control and teamfights, where its fear-inducing abilities can disrupt enemy formations and create chaos. However, the champion is relatively fragile and can struggle in direct one-on-one encounters, especially against mobile opponents who can escape its crowd control effects.
Playing against Fiddlesticks requires constant vigilance and map awareness. Warding key areas and staying grouped can help mitigate the demon’s surprise attacks. Investing in items that provide magic resistance or crowd control reduction can also help counter Fiddlesticks’ fearsome abilities.
The Legacy of Fiddlesticks in League of Legends Lore
Fiddlesticks holds a unique place in the pantheon of League of Legends champions. As one of the oldest and most enigmatic entities in Runeterra, it represents a primal force that predates human civilization. The demon’s existence challenges many established beliefs about the nature of magic and spirituality in the game’s world.
Connections to Other Champions
While Fiddlesticks largely exists outside the typical social structures of Runeterra, its presence has impacted several other champions:
- Zoe: The Aspect of Twilight has shown awareness of Fiddlesticks’ true nature, hinting at connections to cosmic forces beyond mortal ken.
- Nocturne: Another fear-based entity, Nocturne’s relationship to Fiddlesticks remains a topic of speculation among lore enthusiasts.
- Swain: The Noxian leader’s demonic powers may have some connection to the same primordial forces that spawned Fiddlesticks.
How does Fiddlesticks fit into the broader cosmology of Runeterra? The demon’s existence suggests that there are layers to reality beyond what most mortals comprehend. It represents a bridge between the physical world and more abstract realms of emotion and concept.
Thematic Significance
Fiddlesticks embodies several key themes in League of Legends lore:
- The power of fear: Fiddlesticks demonstrates how primal emotions can be as potent as any magic or technology.
- The unknown: The demon’s mysterious nature reflects the vast cosmic unknowns that exist in Runeterra’s universe.
- Cycles of violence: Fiddlesticks’ feeding perpetuates a cycle of fear and suffering, mirroring larger themes of conflict in the world.
- The price of knowledge: Those who seek to understand Fiddlesticks often pay a terrible price, cautioning against the dangers of forbidden knowledge.
Will we ever fully understand the true nature of Fiddlesticks? It’s unlikely, as the demon’s inscrutability is a core part of its identity. However, as League of Legends lore continues to evolve, we may gain new insights into this ancient and terrifying entity.

Disappearances and The Return[]
Despite many tales and stories about Fiddlesticks, its existence was treated as myth by many until disappearances and sightings started happening in the Demacian hinterlands. This was Fiddlesticks, attracted to the rising fear and paranoia among the people of Demacia. Fiddlesticks had returned, and was coming to cause chaos.
Appearance[]
Fiddlesticks is mostly known as a shambling figure of scrap and shadow somewhat resembling a scarecrow. A torn burlap sackcloth rests over its “face”, which is little more than two holes for glowing red eyes and a mouth of rows and rows of jagged metal teeth, secured around its “neck” by a rope which carries three keys.
A mass of red-tinged shadows grow from various points along Fiddlesticks’s body, one large growth emerging from its back, and the rest occasionally forming extra arms for Fiddlesticks, of which it already has three metal ones made of rusted scrap. One of these arms is connected to its body by a sawblade which emerges from its shoulder.
At the center of Fiddlesticks’s torso is a cage which houses the true essence of Fiddlesticks, as the body itself is merely puppetted around by the essence within the cage. Inside the cage is a shifting cloud of red eyes and shadowed forms from which its crows sprout.
However, this is only the appearance of the Demacian incarnation of Fiddlesticks. While the red-black mass of crows which makes up the essence of Fiddlesticks remains constant, the body which carries it changes based on the trash around it.[1] For example, in the Freljord, Fiddlesticks is known to be made up of helmets, bucklers, wood, & furs.[2]
Personality[]
Fiddlesticks is a creature of pure emotional instinct that doesn’t understand the form it takes or the words it repeats, who was created from the formless negative energy endemic to all life.[3]
Abilities[]
- Demon Physiology: Fiddlesticks is a demon, a malevolent spirit that feeds from human emotions. It has no physical form and cannot be harmed by physical weapons (unless it has magical properties). Each demon is linked to a specific emotion; in this case, Fiddlesticks feeds from fear and horrors.
- Emotional Feeding: Like other demons, Fiddlesticks nourishes itself from an specific emotion, in its case, fear. By absorbing the fear that it causes, Fiddlesticks can sustain itself for prolonged periods of time. Fiddlesticks instinctively knows one’s fears.
- Immortality: So long as fear exists Fiddlesticks will exist in some form.
- Demonic Magic: Fiddlesticks has within itself a massive amount of dark power that allows it to perform many terrible feats of dark magic. it can summon constructs that look and behave almost alive, such as crows and copies of itself that will last until it chooses to let them unmake themselves. It could shift space to appear or disappear at will, like when it massacred a entire family inside their house without opening any of the doors or windows.
Relations[]
Spirits[]
Though not directly equals, Fiddlesticks is still directly related to the other demons currently on Runeterra, such as Evelynn, Tahm Kench, Nocturne and Raum, the demon that Swain is allied with.
Along with this, Fiddlesticks’s incomprehensibly ancient age may be the reason as to why it is the only champion to refer to Kindred’s original name, referring to them as the “Grey man”.
Zoe[]
Zoe at some point took a key from Fiddlesticks. It is unknown what this key does, but one story as to Fiddlesticks’s origins is a Targonian legend that tells of how a child of twilight stole the only joy from a ragged, whispering horror.[4][5]

Trivia[]
- Fiddlesticks, The Ancient Fear
- Fiddlesticks is at least 10,000 years old
- As noted by its voice, Fiddlesticks preys on fear of any sentient being, but mostly humans.
- Fiddlesticks has no words of its own, instead repeating things it has heard or things that have been spoken to its victims, as can be implied by its voice lines.
- The 10 Kings mentioned in its lines and color story are 10 primordial demons that predate the demons in the game like Evelynn and Tahm Kench and are much more powerful.[6]
- While it is said to not have a crown on its head like the rest of the 10, the keys it keeps may potentially form one.[7]
- Fiddlestick’s champion theme is an in-universe folk song about it, with the rhythm implying it was sung by some of its victims.[8]
- Fiddlesticks’s body is made up of whatever’s lying around, it frequently swaps pieces of his body and can’t be killed by ordinary means. The current version of Fiddlesticks body is made out of stuff the demon found around Goldweald.[9]
- Fiddlesticks, the Harbinger of Doom
- Even though Fiddlesticks is said to use a scythe he uses a sickle in-game.
- In his old lore, the key around Fiddlesticks’s neck was owned by a Zaunite Summoner named Istvaan, who performed some perverse ritual that caused him to manifest Fiddlesticks. The key unlocked the door to Istvaan’s summoning tower, which he spent quite a lot of time in seclusion inside.

Fiddlesticks
Fiddlesticks are traditional instruments used to add percussion to old and Cajun music, allowing two players to play the fiddle at the same time. While the violinist plays in the normal way, a second person uses a pair of straws, sticks, or knitting needles to carve the rhythm into the strings above the top panel. Also called “beating straws” or “playing straws,” this method likely originated in the eastern United States. British folklorist Fred McCormick reports that he never encountered it among British and Irish fiddlers and suggests that it may have originated on American plantations as a substitute for African musical instruments. The technique has become rarer over time as the music has changed, but numerous examples have been recorded, such as in the “Mardi Gras Jig” by a group led by Cajun skater and singer Dewey Balfa or Al and Emily Cantrell. A Harmless Scarecrow Fiddlesticks passive ability is very interesting and really unique. Instead of the usual wards, Fiddlesticks starts the game with his scarecrows, which are very similar to how the Ghost poro rune works. In other words, the scarecrow will immediately disappear if the enemy notices it. This is the only negative of this passive. Otherwise, we get some pluses. A cool feature of the scarecrow is that it not only stands, but can also imitate some of the actions of Fiddlesticks. As a result, it can extract some ability or even a key spell from the enemy. At the very least, a scarecrow can greatly confuse opponents and give you an important advantage. Starting at level 6, placed scarecrows will additionally reveal enemy totems. That is, they will have an effect, such as the Oracle Alteration item. Of course, this is a very useful option, allowing you to better control the map by checking key locations and destroying enemy wards.
Terrify – this ability of Fiddlesticks is one of the key ones. The fact is that if Fiddlesticks attacks from an ambush, then in addition to damage, his abilities will impose fear. Because of this feature, for example, using the Crowstorm ultimate can immediately control a group of enemies. The only thing to understand here is that the effect of fear has a kind of recharge. When you inflict fear on a target, a kind of timer appears next to the enemy, showing when the next time you can activate fear. This of course imposes certain restrictions, but on the other hand, if you use a Q-shku on an enemy who has recently been exposed to fear, then the ability will deal twice as much damage. An interesting feature of the skill is that the damage is dealt as a percentage and thus it can effectively kill various tanks with a lot of health.
Bountiful Harvest – if we talk about Fiddlesticks as a forester, then this ability will be our main tool for clearing the forest. The fact is that the skill is not only the ability to deal damage to a group of enemies, but also allows you to quickly restore health. In team battles, the ability will also be very effective. Be sure to pay attention to the fact that at the very end the ability deals additional damage and is very significant. So it is desirable to use the ability in such a way that the affected targets will certainly take full damage. The last burst of damage deals damage as a percentage of your missing health and is a great tool for finishing off enemies. If you fail to fully realize the potential of the ability, then here we come to the aid of an accelerated cooldown, which turns on if the ability is not working at full strength. To be honest, most of the time you will use the ability to the maximum, so you won’t even pay attention to the cooldown reduction. In conclusion, it should also be pointed out that the minions come from chopped healing, so when playing in the lane, you should not rely on powerful healing. Of course, the surrounding minions will help restore health, but not as much as, for example, the affected champions.
Reap – this ability of Fiddlesticks is interesting in that it not only deals good magic damage, but also slows down and can even silence enemies. Unfortunately, silence works only in the central part of the affected area, but in general, the ability has a quick animation and after playing for a while, you will learn how to skillfully wield a scythe. It is especially cool to use a scythe from cover, since in this case several negative effects will be applied to the enemy at once and he will not be able to do anything in response. The ability seems difficult only at first glance and in fact you get used to it very quickly.
Crowstorm – Fiddlesticks’ ultimate ability after his global rework actually remained the same. That is, Fiddlesticks prepares, and then jumps, summoning a flock of crows. It is not difficult to guess that it is Fiddlesticks’ ultimate ability that is the main tool of an ambush attack. If you attack unexpectedly, then given the passive feature of the Q-shku, you can additionally impose fear on all enemies. As a result, controlled enemies will receive a huge amount of damage. In addition, we can additionally use the W-shku and then the amount of AOE damage will be simply huge. Often, one successful burst is enough to instantly turn the outcome of the battle and lead your team to victory. But of course, you need to learn to feel the moment, choose the right place for an ambush and understand when to jump out on enemies, and when it is better to wait a bit.
Thanks to his skills, Fiddlesticks is able to farm the jungle easily and more importantly, these skills are conducive to good lane ganks.
Spell Selection
When choosing spells, we don’t have much choice. We take the Smite spell in any case so that we can buy a specialized jungler item and so that we can farm the forest more confidently. With the second spell, it’s better not to be smart and take the universal Flash. This spell helps equally well during an attack on enemies and during emergency situations when you need to quickly get out of the battle.
Skill leveling order 4
90 644
90 667
First of all, it makes sense to pump the Bountiful Harvest skill, as it allows you to perfectly farm the jungle and at the same time maintain a high level of health. Terrify is usually maxed out second, as a higher level increases the duration of fear and increases, but in some situations it can be useful to level Reap second. A higher Reap level will not only increase damage, but increase the effectiveness of the slow. But still, first of all, I would advise you to play with the maximum level of fear. Of course, we pump the ultimate ability as it becomes available.
Runes
Artifact Selection
Fiddlesticks is a unique forester mage, but he also requires forester artifacts and the following items will be the best choice for the initial purchase: how this improvement will give us an additional source of slowdown, and for Fiddlesticks this will definitely not be superfluous. From enchantments, of course, it is worth taking Runic Echoes .
The advantage of the updated Fiddlesticks is that the champion has become more variable and a large number of artifacts are suitable for him. Besides the improved jungler item, Zhonya’s Hourglass and Morellonomicon are good starting items. In particular, you should pay attention to Zhonya, as this item helps a lot during serious team battles. After all, we can break into a crowd of enemies with the help of our ultimate ability and then use invulnerability. Of course, there are various variations, but I would advise trying to play Fiddlesticks using these artifacts.
Although Fiddlesticks is a very peculiar champion, he is still a mage and items are bought for him to increase magic damage. Rabadon’s Deathcap can be used to simply increase the damage and this item is especially good in a situation where you have an early advantage and want to build on your success. The hat will greatly increase the combat potential of Fiddle and your exits from the ambush with the help of the ultimate will become even more deadly. If the enemy team has champions with a lot of health, then the Liandry’s Torment artifact can come in handy. If the enemies have too much magic resistance, then in this case, Void Staff should be included in the assembly. Another interesting option is Rylai’s Crystal Scepter. This artifact will not only increase the magic damage and health, but also give us an additional source of control in the form of a slowdown. The last item that I liked, but to be honest it is not often used, is the Hextech Protobelt-01. In addition to good basic stats, the protorbelt belt gives a good active ability, with which you can sort of increase the dash range of the ultimate ability, and in some cases this can be very useful.
Of the defensive items, usually only Zhonya’s Hourglass is enough, but if you see a lot of powerful magical abilities in the team, the Banshee’s Veil artifact may come in handy. Fiddlesticks doesn’t like being hit with a lot of explosive damage at once, and Banshee’s Veil can help a lot.
Of the shoes, the best option would be Sorcerer’s Shoes. Protective boots are rarely used.
As an example, below are some of the final builds you can try in your first Fiddlesticks games.
Option 1:
Stalker’s Blade – Runic Echoes
Instead of Void Staff, in some cases it is better to take Liandry’s Torment.
Option 2:
Stalker’s Blade – Runic Echoes
Option 3:
Stalker’s Blade – Runic Echoes
Pros:
- Mage with easy jungle farming . Fiddlesticks not only quickly clears the forest, but also does it with minimal health loss.
- High AoE damage.
- Has excellent control skills, including fear, silence and slow.
- At level 6, he has a very strong ganking potential due to his Crowstorm ult.
- Due to the Bountiful Harvest skill, Fiddlesticks can easily pick up key objects, that is, Dragons and the Herald. This already skill allows you to feel great during a team battle.
Cons:
- Very vulnerable to early countergangs.
- Low survivability and in the event of a focus, Fiddlesticks can quickly die.
- Does not have the ability to escape and if controlled is unable to save himself.
- You need to be able to place scarecrows very clearly and understand where the enemies can potentially place their wards.
Fiddlesticks can really farm the jungle very well, but he is not the best duellist and especially in the early game. There are a fair number of champions in League of Legends who can come to the Fiddle Forest very early and completely ruin the game. As an example, one can immediately name: Olaf, Udyr, Xin Zhao and Hecarim. Separately, Kindred and Ekko can also be distinguished. These opponents seemed to me really very uncomfortable and dangerous. Perhaps in your games you met other characters who greatly spoiled your game. The main thing here is to understand that even if the enemy forester constantly humiliates you, you should not give up. Afterwards, Fiddlesticks can still catch up with good bursts during teamfights.
Separately, I would like to touch upon the issue of restoring health. There are a huge number of skills in League of Legends that can reduce the effectiveness of recovery skills. The very first thing you need to pay attention to is the Ignite spell, which can ruin everything at the most inopportune moment. There are a lot of abilities that can reduce the effectiveness of treatment and they should also be taken into account. In addition, it is also desirable to look at what artifacts the enemies are buying, and if, for example, the enemy team has a Morellonomicon, then be prepared for the fact that your healing will be greatly reduced.
At the time of updating this article, Fiddlesticks is mostly cast as a jungler, but occasionally he can be found in the bot lane as a support. From myself I will say that it is very difficult to realize the potential of Fiddlesticks on the bottom lane, and if you have little experience playing supports and have not yet fully studied Fiddlesticks, then I would not recommend going there. It is better to focus on the jungle game and study this champion in this role.
If you have played the role of a jungler a little, then I think you will be interested in the article “League of Legends – Guide to leveling in the forest (Jungle)”. As mentioned above, Fiddlesticks is an excellent jungler and has the ability to make successful ganks, but he has one serious disadvantage. Fiddlesticks is very weak in the early game and can be an easy target for an enemy jungler. At the same time, Fiddlesticks cannot risk going into the enemy jungle, and given his heavy dependence on the blue buff, his actions become very predictable. It is best if you ask your team to help you with the buff so that there are no problems. Due to the constant threat from the enemy jungler, Fiddlesticks has to better control the map and constantly keep an eye on all the lanes. It is extremely important to at least roughly understand where the enemy jungler is now and whether he can somehow interfere with your plans. Do not forget that in addition to scarecrows, you can also buy Control Ward additionally and you should not spare money for this item. Many players make a common mistake, namely, because of the fear of being killed, they sit in the forest for too long. Of course, level 6 is extremely important for Fiddlesticks, but even earlier you can go out and kill the enemy. Just warn your allies in the lane in advance about your approach and if they give the go-ahead to gank, then you can safely go and try. If the gank fails, don’t despair, at the very least you’ll spread the enemy on Flash, and your ally will get at least a slight advantage in the lane. The whole early game with Fiddlesticks needs to be farmed hard, since the end game will be the key factor in what you have in your inventory. Don’t forget that Fiddlesticks can kill a blue golem and a toad at the same time. That is, you first attack the golem and immediately attack the toad. Roughly in the middle between these camps, you can stand up and use Soul Siphon. This method is very efficient and saves you a lot of time.
Mid game is when Fiddlesticks reaches level 6 and his Crowstorm ult opens. During this period, Fiddlesticks should play as aggressively as possible and constantly use his ult to gank right on the cooldown. Before jumping, always warn your allies of your intentions. Pay close attention to the behavior of the opponents and if they are clearly nervous or move back a little when you approach, then they may have noticed you with the help of wards and you should not continue the attack, since your attack will no longer be unexpected and you will just waste your ult. Ult allows you to make ganks from the most unexpected places. Think about all the places where you used Flash in the past, as all of these obstacles can be easily overcome with an ult. If the range of the ult was not enough to jump to the enemy, you can immediately approach him with the Flash spell. The ult lasts for 5 seconds, so the enemy will still receive some of the damage. If the enemy team is chasing you, and your allies are nearby, then you should not panic, use this situation in your favor. First, use Flash to jump into the nearest jungle, and then when the enemy team moves on your allies, immediately jump back with your ult. This method seems trivial, but for some reason it works almost every time, since the enemy does not expect you to come back, but with huge damage.
If you managed to successfully gank in the bottom lane and your allies took little damage, then you should immediately go to the Dragon and quickly take it. Place wards on the approaches in advance and, together with allies, quickly kill him. It will be good even if an ally from the center pulls up to you. By killing the Dragon, your entire team will receive a great bonus. Constantly keep an eye on the Dragon respawn timer and place wards to control this important part of the location. If you kill the Dragon over and over again, then in the end all your allies will have a good advantage.
When your team starts actively pushing the lane and taking down enemy towers, Fiddlesticks doesn’t need to stand around and try to auto-attack, as this will be of little use. Just stand in the nearest bushes or go around the corner and wait for the enemies to approach. In general, a successful game for Fiddlesticks, this is the correct and unexpected use of the ult. Fiddlesticks is a great initiator. Most importantly, always let your team know about the upcoming jump and see to it that your allies are in close proximity so they can help you right away.
At the end of the game, Fiddlesticks already has a lot of damage, but the enemy team also has very strong skills. Considering that Fiddlesticks is a very vulnerable mage, in the event of a careless game, you can become an easy victim and frame the whole team. It is best to play defensively and force the enemy to go as far into your territory as possible. Here you have a huge number of opportunities for an unexpected jump. Also, do not forget about the control of such important neutrals as the Baron and the Dragon. When the opposing team begins to allegedly feel their advantage and go on a bold attack, this is the very time when Fiddlesticks can decide the outcome of the battle and the whole game as a whole. When you start a fight, the opponents are no longer so attentive and focused. It is best to enter the fight after 1-3 seconds, but do it right by flying behind enemy lines and killing weak champions. Even if you lose one of your allies, your team will immediately be able to counterattack and kill most of the enemies.
Playing as Fiddlesticks is a very important undertaking. Each jump with the help of an ult can be both decisive and a big failure.
