Covid measures
All COVID-19 protocols described here are subject to change at any time. Due to the decrease in the number of cases of COVID-19on campus and in our community, we have updated our pandemic protocols. Currently, masks are no longer a mandatory requirement on campus. This decision was made based on COVID-19 incidence rates locally and in our community, as well as our two-year experience of dealing with the pandemic on campus. Masks continue to be recommended as an effective means of reducing exposure to the virus and will continue to be required under CDC guidance for individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 10 days, as well as for those with whom contact was made. While mask requirements have been lifted, it is still recommended to cover your face while indoors and to maintain social distancing. High quality N95 or KN95 masks are recommended by the CDC and provide the most effective protection against the coronavirus. While student athletes are not required to be fully vaccinated to attend IMG Academy, we continue to strongly encourage all students to be fully vaccinated as soon as they become eligible or as soon as possible.
Health and Safety
The IMG Academy works closely with Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, our on-campus healthcare provider, and follows guidelines set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Florida Department of Health.
