About This Data
Nonprofit Explorer includes summary data for nonprofit tax returns and full Form 990 documents, in both PDF and digital formats.
The summary data contains information processed by the IRS during the 2012-2019 calendar years; this generally consists of filings for the 2011-2018 fiscal years, but may include older records. This data release includes only a subset of what can be found in the full Form 990s.
In addition to the raw summary data, we link to PDFs and digital copies of full Form 990 documents wherever possible. This consists of separate releases by the IRS of Form 990 documents processed by the agency, which we update regularly.
We also link to copies of audits nonprofit organizations that spent $750,000 or more in Federal grant money in a single fiscal year since 2016. These audits are copied from the Federal Audit Clearinghouse.
Which Organizations Are Here?
Every organization that has been recognized as tax exempt by the IRS has to file Form 990 every year, unless they make less than $200,000 in revenue and have less than $500,000 in assets, in which case they have to file form 990-EZ. Organizations making less than $50,000 don’t have to file either form but do have to let the IRS they’re still in business via a Form 990N “e-Postcard.”
Nonprofit Explorer has organizations claiming tax exemption in each of the 27 subsections of the 501(c) section of the tax code, and which have filed a Form 990, Form 990EZ or Form 990PF. Taxable trusts and private foundations that are required to file a form 990PF are also included. Small organizations filing a Form 990N “e-Postcard” are not included in this data.

At Home With CVLC: American Lacrosse League, Week 1
Editor’s note: The following was written by Matt “Ramathorne” Ramsey of the Connecticut Valley Lacrosse Club, a competitive post-collegiate team competing in the American Lacrosse League.
What a weekend; it was sunny, warm and a great time to be outside playing lacrosse. On Sunday, March 7 most American Lacrosse League teams stepped on to the field for the first time this season. On the Connecticut Valley sidelines there was a overwhelming feeling of excitement mixed with anxiety to take charge of their first game versus HomeGrown Lacrosse Club out of Haverhill, Massachusetts.
CVLC vs HomeGrown
The game started off with a bang; Connecticut Valley took an early 2-0 lead on goals by former Skidmore College All-American Charlie McNeil and Eastern Connecticut legend Billy Mo. The play was sloppy, uncoordinated, and expected for the teams where most guys haven’t been on a lacrosse field since the prior year’s season. Face-Offs were key in this game and Connecticut Valley had no trouble securing 75% of them. Muff, an amateur diver, lost two face-offs the entire game and clearly desired those brews afterwards.
Once the team settled in the referees had as well. Soon the turf at Eastern Connecticut State University was yellow as our indecisive referees began agreeing on calls. Were we happy with these calls? Absolutely not. Did we pout and complain? Maybe a little bit, but that’s expected. Slight pushes were called as “roughing” and consequently because of our foul mouths a couple of guys were sent to the sin bin for “profanity”. The penalties we allowed ourselves to get caught up in also allowed HomeGrown’s Canadian duo the chance to even the score…but they didn’t. Connecticut Valley held a safe 7-5 advantage after two.
The second half, was not so great. In the American Lacrosse League quarters are 20 minutes long and running time. While that may have faired well for Connecticut Valley because of our deep bench, it didn’t change our complacency when it came to the short bench on the other side of the box.
HomeGrown had 2 subs for the entire game; CVLC had 18. HomeGrown was tired and running out of steam. CVLC was not. HomeGrown decided to score some goals. CVLC decided to let them and stop going to the cage. The third quarter was as sloppy as they get and the moral on the sideline went from cheery and excitable to “what do we do now”.
Going into the fourth quarter the game was tied 8-8, even though we had fresh legs we played down to the other teams level allowing them to take a commanding 11-8 lead with just 10 minutes remaining to play. For the last ten minutes we crawled back in with goals from former WNEC superstar Brian Praetorius, Greensboro sharpshooter Matt Perry, and Donny…who was clearly out of his element, but managed. He got lucky because Walter was just about ready to kill him.
With just one minute left to play Connecticut Valley took the lead 13-12 and ran the clock out to grab the “W”. It was a hard fought game and a great day to play lacrosse. Nobody was satisfied with the referees, but it happens in every sport…bad calls or good calls, you can interpret them any way you want and each time there is a chance that someone will be unhappy. HomeGrown is a solid team and played well; should they have had a deeper bench the result could have been different.
Crabs Next Week
Next weekend the stacked roster of Boston Crabs Lacrosse Club travels down to Eastern Connecticut State University’s turf field to battle Connecticut Valley in what is speculated to be not the best of conditions weather-wise.
With our first game out of the way we, as a team, know what to focus on and what will be our keys to victory. Although our keeper, Matt Hoffman, made some stellar saves and we peppered HomeGrown’s goalie with shots we cannot miss our chances and hope that our goalie keeps us out of trouble.
Around The American Lacrosse League
Around the league other teams got at it with some very close games and some not so close. Boston Crabs LC defended their home turf and pulled out a 9-8 victory over Bay State LC. North Shore LC also managed to steal a win from New Hampshire’s Warpigs LC. In New Jersey, Tri-State LC bested the Lurkers 18-5, HealthQuest stumbled against Bulls LC losing 9-7 and the Jersey Thunder beat up on South Jersey LC 8-4.
Other scores from Sunday included; Charm City Warhawks 16 Baltimore Fire 3, Delaware LC 18 Main Street Tower LC 2, Hagerstown Bud Light 11 Nobles LC 6, and Portside LC 14 North County LC 5.

The Silver Lake boys and girls lacrosse teams are each capping off a tremendous regular season this week and a large reason for the success is the play of the Kingston brother and sister captain duo of Sean and Cameron Daly.
KINGSTON – The Silver Lake boys and girls lacrosse teams are each capping off a tremendous regular season this week and a large reason for the success is the play of the Kingston brother and sister captain duo of Sean and Cameron Daly.
Cameron, a senior on the girls’ team, has broken the 100 career goal mark and Sean, a junior, eclipsed 100 career points earlier this season. They both play in the midfield.
“We’re competitive with each other, but it’s always in a good way. We push each other to be better, but we’re also there to support one another,” Cameron said.
“We’re always at each other’s games whenever we can be there,” added Sean, a junior midfielder. “I think our little competition drives the both of us.”
There have certainly been a lot of people watching Silver Lake’s lacrosse programs this season. Both squads should get a nice seed when the Division 1 South tourney pairings are released by the MIAA Friday (today).
The boys were riding an outstanding 11-game winning streak that finally came to an end Tuesday with a 10-3 loss to Duxbury High. They finished the regular season with a best-ever record of 14-4.
The Lady Lakers also lost to Duxbury Tuesday, this one by the score of 17-2. They carried a record of 12-6 into Wednesday’s game with Hanover.
“We’ve only got four seniors, so this is a young team,” Cameron said. “The head coaches (Taylor Wiedemann for the girls and Derek Weckbacher for the boys) have done an amazing job with both programs. Coach Wiedemann is always pushing us that we can be better in a positive way and it’s amazing to think of how much she’s helped the program in such a short period of time.”
The Daly’s have been playing lacrosse since back in the day. Introduced to the sport by an uncle who played at Springfield College, they were bitten by the lax bug at an early age. Both products of the Kingston Youth Lacrosse program, Sean remembers taking his lumps in the early days.
“When I was in the first grade I was playing on a U-11 team because we didn’t have that many kids playing the sport,” he remembers. “I was always the smallest kid on the field back then, but it just made me work harder because I loved the sport.”
Cameron was part of one of the first Kingston eight-and-nine year old girls team with current Silver Lake teammates Sarah Brockway and Morgan Amirault.
“It’s was so funny to see all of these little girls with their lacrosse sticks at our Senior Night game last week,” Cameron said. “We never had large teams when I was a kid and it’s crazy to think how much the program has grown since then.”
Cameron will start at Bryant University in the fall where she will double-major in marketing and management. Bryant is a Division 1 athletic program, so she may play club lacrosse or try to make the varsity team as a walk-on.
Sean also plays club lacrosse with the Boston Kings. He’s interested in playing lacrosse in college if given the opportunity.

Gear Zone: Homegrown Lacrosse | Inside Lacrosse
Based out of North Andover, Massachusetts Home Grown Lacrosse was founded in December 2005 by Bryan Brazill. Brazill a life long lacrosse player and passionate student of the game spent his collegiate lacrosse days at NCAA Division II’s Merrimack College where he was among the top ten point producers in the country during his junior and senior seasons.
After traveling the world playing lacrosse in Australia, Hawaii and California Bryan went on to coach at all levels of the game from youth to the collegiate level, including his alma mater Merrimack immediately following his graduation. Brazill’s emphasis then became to instill the “forgotten” individual skills of lacrosse to both boys and girls players through camps, private lessons, clinics, elite travel teams and leagues.
Presently the core coaching staff of Home Grown is composed of current Merrimack College staff women’s coach Corinne Baker, the 2010 NCAA Women’s DII Coach of the Year, and men’s coach Mike Morgan. Along with the contributing Merrimack staff is Austin Preparatory School coach Peter Smyth. A standout college player at Nichols College, Smyth currently is the head boy’s program director and indoor programs director at Home Grown Lacrosse and is the essence of what the company is all about.
After growing the tremendous staff and increasing the offered programs Home Grown expanded their exclusive outdoor operation to an indoor facility in October of 2009. With the continued increasing growth of the programs and teams vendors have helped to create some pretty sweet gear on the mens side of things.

Andrey Mostovoy – the future of Zenit? – Regista – Blogs
The debut season at such a high level for the young midfielder of Sochi, rented from Zenit, is going well so far. What are the prospects for a talented football player in the summer? An attempt to break into the base of St. Petersburgers or to look for an option in which key roles will be entrusted to him? Kirill Alekseev ( SBG Analytica ) argues.
Before proceeding with the analysis of the young midfielder’s game, it is necessary to briefly highlight the main provisions of football, which Alexander Tochilin set for the Sochi team before his retirement, and which, perhaps, Berezovsky will adhere to at least until the winter break in the championship. However, already in the first meeting as the acting head coach of the Sochi football club, Roman made certain adjustments.
Changes in the coaching bridge, as you might guess, were caused by the lack of results and the current place in the championship – after 17 rounds the team occupies the last line in the table. At the same time, it cannot be said that 16th place is its limit. No, the selection of performers allows you to count on more. But the overall cut in attacking actions over 17 rounds does not look optimistic. In terms of the overwhelming majority of indicators, Sochi is below the league average.
Not the worst numbers, but even irrespective of the real place, they focus on the play-off zone. The best components relate to the primitivization of football (long passes and crosses to the box) and promoted passes, which may include long passes.
Andrey Mostovoy, the footballer, which will be discussed below, is built into this mechanism. Built in without having one permanent position. His talent is used, among other things, due to his universalism, which allowed him to get his playing time in five different positions in half the championship. The graph below shows the approximate positions in various formations: both attacking flanks, the center of the attack, as well as the wingback role that is exotic even for Mostovoy in the away match against Ufa.
Anyway, since leaving Zenit on loan, Mostovoy has become not only a solid player in the starting lineup, but also one of those through whom Sochi’s attacking game is built.
So, quite often at the end of the match among the top bundles in assists (including assists with the ball advance), you can see a pair of Kudryashov-Mostovoy. Their interaction is not limited to leaving the defense through the left flank. They are actively involved in the game in the final third of the opponent: Kudryashov plays wider, Mostovoy goes to the center, from where he makes a dash.
Below is an episode from the match against Arsenal Tula.
Situationally, Kudryashov turned out to be higher on the flank, saw the running of the 17th number, and gave him into the free zone
As for the involvement of Mostovoy in the attacking formation of the team, the numbers in terms of 90 minutes indicate active participation: xGBuildup90 – 0.14 (participation in the first phase of attacks), xGChain90 – 0.35 (participation in chains of attacks that ended with blows), KP90 – 1.13 (key passes). For comparison, Christian Noboa has lower values for xGBuildup90 and xGChain90, and clearly higher values only for Nikita Burmistrov.
Now that we have roughly outlined the importance of Mostovoy’s participation in the attacking actions of Sochi, it is worth moving into a slightly different plane and pushing off from where, in what quantity and how the attacks of Berezovsky’s charges proceed.
Mostovoy, taking into account the versatility that was discussed earlier, does not always reach the position of the left winger, at different intervals it turns out to be either a forward or a right winger, but it will best of all help to navigate for further analysis of the graph with the attack vector.
For the graphics, only those matches in which Andrey took part were selected.
All numbers are indicated on average for 14 matches. The sample is still very small and includes spikes that will be smoothed out at a greater distance towards the end of the season.
A slight advantage in our case can be equated to an error. FC Sochi likes to carry out its attacks through the flanks, while lunges from the left, where Mostovoy can most often be seen, are much less likely to end with blows, and those that reach them have much less weight. This is an important point, which we will dwell on in more detail later. Now the set of data is important: a) the flanks give Sochi more attacks; b) spent about 68% of the playing time on the flanks of Mostovoy.
Now it’s time to move on to where Mostovoy contacts the ball. Below is a touch map. Considering Tochilin’s use of inverted flanks (left-handed Burmistrov entered the field on the right, right-handed Mostovoy on the left), the left half-flank and the center naturally become the most “favorite” zones of Mostovoy.
It is trite for a Sochi footballer to shift to the center under his right working leg to continue the attack. Another thing is surprising: for the extreme midfielder, Andrei very rarely pulls himself to the corner flag in search of a ball or for serving, which is partly due to several reasons: firstly, the version with Kudryashov’s connections has been worked out for canopies, and secondly, Mostovoy’s notorious left leg is much inferior to his right.
Obviously, creating width on the left flank when receiving the ball, Mostovoy tries to go to the center, where it is easier to pass or strike
Since the half-flank is a more rarefied space, the transition closer to the 14th zone is associated with more pressure on the player . ..For this reason, among the strong qualities of Andrey, the ability to go dribbling and dribbling immediately stands out. It is due to them that Mostovoy has the ability to change the attack vector and move it closer to the center.
The chart below shows a map of all the player’s strokes over the past 17 rounds. Outlines in their own half of the field can be neglected, they are episodic and rather auxiliary. Some of them are associated with getting out of pressure in the build-up, some with counterattacks. The total is too small to track the trend.
The strokes in the final third are more valuable. It can be clearly seen that Andrey most often uses dribbling in the zone of the left semi-flank. In his case, this is either going under the right foot to the center, or under the left foot to the striking position or overhang, depending on the position, the location of the defenders, the saturation of the defense line.
Most of all unsuccessful attempts to beat the opponent are concentrated here, but, what is even more interesting, of all the dribbles on the corner of the penalty area that Mostovoy made, only one failed. But this is a key area.
Blue dots indicate successful strokes, crosses – unsuccessful
In the current Zenit, the question of playing 1v1 with rivals is quite acute. Apparently, the coaching staff deliberately preferred to play more in passing than to pass the lines of the opponents due to the individual actions of the players. So, in the 18/19 season, the champions entered the “top” teams, less often than the others using the stroke. Only three teams tried to beat the rival 1v1 even less.
Before the start of the new championship, acquisitions were made aimed at rectifying the situation (now Zenit are located exactly in the middle of the table). In this context, Mostovoy’s actions can be of great help in the event of a return to the blue-white-blue camp. But to begin with, it makes sense to exclude unprofitable and risky strokes. They do not allow the ball to be propelled, but can lead to loss of possession.
Below is one such situation. There are no direct options for the development of the attack, the transmission line to Tsallagov is blocked, but even if the ball reaches, Ibrahim will be under pressure already at the moment of reception. At the same time, there is Pomerko nearby, not guarded by rivals. Of the more difficult and risky options, Kalugin is on the opposite flank.
Mostovoy is surrounded by four Krylia footballers, but he still plays out. It all ends with the predicted loss of the ball
Such losses are rather associated with a lack of experience, and together with the increase in the number of matches at a high level, they will come to naught. Moreover, they are not tied to feints, but to changing directions and swaying rivals.Bridge is fast enough and sharp enough to use this when playing. However, not only this can be distinguished in Andrey’s movements.
In addition to using outplaying the opponent inside and outside the field, Mostovoy feels great free zones and regularly turns out to be open, even playing against teams with a low block in defense. Having a fairly free role as a footballer, able to move from the flank to the center, he can offer himself for a pass both in the center of the penalty area and in the radius of the central circle.Partly the movement of partners allows the 17th number to feel more relaxed, partly – his own movements.
In the game against CSKA Moscow, he demonstrated both opening with a second pace, playing in a pull, and running behind the backs:
In the first case, during a counterattack, fleeing from the defenders, Mostovoy slowed down and opened with a “second pace” for a backward pass. Exactly the same as six minutes earlier, in the case of a goal scored. In the second case, he opened into a free zone between the extreme central and extreme defenders.Well, and, finally, in the third case – opening behind the backs.
The match with CSKA was not chosen by chance as an example. It is very significant that the ability to find free zones is applicable to system-competent commands. This also says that with less free space, as in the case of the second moment, Mostovoy’s play in open areas is still possible. Previously, Zenit had already faced Sutormin’s case, according to which Alexei plays well in open spaces, but has difficulties, acting surrounded by rivals. In Mostov’s case, a possible “style” transfer of his openings from Sochi to Zenit, who has more possession of the ball, but has less room to maneuver in front, seems possible.
Schematically Mostovoy uses the following types of movement in the field. The graph shows the most frequent ones.
As an example of beating on the left flank of the attack, you can look at two episodes from the match against Tambov: in the first moment Andrey beats with a shift to the front and tries to serve into the penalty area from his left foot.In the second, he plays up, moving to the center, and tries to strike at the goal. The quality of the completion of the attacks in these episodes let down, but, which is typical, they once again emphasize the quickness of the midfielder’s movements. Quite simple actions at the right moment leave the opponent behind.
But what about the moments when the opponent is beaten? There are three scenarios for the development of events.
Scenario one. Hit. Mostovoy has already scored three goals this season. Along with Poloz, this is the best result in the team. And… All three goals were scored from the center of the penalty area. Why is the focus on this? Andrey almost never strikes from harmless distances. The lion’s share of his attempts to hit the goal is through the central corridor, often in the penalty area. Yes, the total number of shots is small, only 28, and the accuracy with such proximity to the goal is lame – 35.7%, but the position of the winger does not quite imply such accuracy.
Digging further, we see: Mostovoy quite often tries to hit with his left foot, which the position favors. These blows are distributed as follows: from the left half of the penalty area – the left leg, from the right half and from outside the penalty area – the right foot.
By itself, using the left leg in attacks is a definite plus. Moreover, almost all attempts classified as blocked were with the right foot.
The conclusion suggests itself: from the left Andrey tries to score only in the already prepared moments. But even in this vein, the use of both legs already sets him apart from many Russian footballers.
However, if there is complete order with the zone of strikes, and in some cases it is even possible to consider the possibility of a strike before entering the penalty area, where the density is increased by default, then there are certain questions about the technique of the strikes themselves.
So, in the match against Rostov, the kick after a mistake with the ball cleared by the goalkeeper was delivered from the penalty line, without hindrance, but the force came from the center. In terms of goal expectation, this is only 0.23. The position was not lethal. But exactly here the line is drawn between qualitatively different levels.
However, there is another fly in the ointment: headbutts. For 17 rounds, there are only two of them, and after all, matches where a football player played the role of a striker are also taken into account. They, headbutts, like martial arts, are Mostovoy’s Achilles’ heel, but more on that later.
Scenario two. Broadcast.
You can tell right away – far from the most optimal. Mostovoy, in terms of 90 minutes, gives only 0.7 assists under attack. Even taking into account not the most outstanding results of Sochi in the attack, this is not enough – we rely on our involvement in the attacking game, and Andrey is on the list of those who often play with the ball.
The graph clearly shows: 8 gears to hit out of 10 – back (three gears from the highlighted area also went back). The classic story, Mostovoy, pushing the ball forward in a dash or receiving a pass in the danger zone, stops, turns around and gives back under attack. There would be nothing wrong with this if such transfers would lead partners to positions that were advantageous for scoring, but no.
Below is an episode from the match against Akhmat. Mostovoy received the ball from Noboa, entered the penalty area and rolled it back to the Ecuadorian, in front of whom three defenders grew at once. At the same moment, Anton Zabolotny is on the far post all alone. Is such a transfer more risky? Undoubtedly. But in the case of Noboa, the loss of ownership was just a matter of time.
Christian had neither the time nor the space to develop an attack.
From passes under attack, we move on to general advancement of the ball through passes. The sample is again small, but it confirms several theses at once:
– Mostovoy is really very good at opening. Acting as an extreme midfielder or striker, he “fills” himself with solid numbers of opponents “cut off” at the reception: 49 and 65, recruited in matches against CSKA and Tambov – very good!
– He very often takes the ball on the move and, due to dribbling, regularly breaks the lines of opponents.
– But at the same time very weakly advances the ball further. On the one hand, this is not quite his function, there is Noboa in the team to advance the ball.On the other hand, a very large number of attacks either end on Andrei, or go into the second round – Mostovoy returns the ball back, and the team tries to deliver it forward again.
– Absence of impect (“cut off” defenders) confirms poor ball advance. Except for the match with Ufa (here the midfielder played the role of a wingback), the complete absence of impect is a bad trend.
– PPL (Packing per loss) is very low. More can be squeezed out of this position and this number of received transmissions.
Packing – the number of opposing players left behind by the pass. PackingUP – the same, under pressure. PackingDR – the number of opposing players left behind the line of the ball by dribbling. PackingFT – packing in the final third. Impect – only “cut off” defenders are counted. On turn – packing for the partner’s turn, after which the attack does not slow down (it is counted in the number of passes, not cut off players). Reception – reverse packing, the sum of the players “cut off” by the pass from the receiver. Reception on turn – back “on turn”, the number of transfers received on turn is counted
And, finally, third scenario. Serves. Everything is simple here. Mostovoy does not have a high-quality and stable cross-country. One of the reasons why he, even from the right, prefers not to play in the front, lies in the low level of serving.
On the example of his cross from the right flank, which actually became accurate (flew over everyone and “got stuck” on the line of the penalty area), but was fatal for a quick attack
In the analysis, the names of other Zenit players flashed several times: Driussi, Sutormin. Both of these players are direct competitors of Mostovoy for a place on the left flank on his return to Zenit. Plus Lesovoy, on loan at Arsenal Tula. For an objective assessment of Andrey’s current achievements, it would be reasonable to compare them with the results of his “competitors”. We will determine in advance whether the RPL and the Russian Cup matches were included in the sample. Driussi did not play in the cup, but took part in the Champions League matches, but, for obvious reasons, it will distort the results, so it will not be included.
So, according to the summary table, Mostovoy is clearly better than his partners only when it comes to running with the ball.Taps in the penalty area are highly correlated with position on the field, and therefore have less weight.
The Sochi winger has almost no obvious drawdowns – all indicators, with the exception of losses, are on the average overall level.
As for the losses, what is alarming is not so much their number (Lesovoy loses a third more), but the percentage of losses in his half of the field. This component has a lot to add. However, he has almost nothing to do with dribbling – of all attempts, only four ended in losses in their half of the field.
And on that note, we come to one of the weakest aspects of Mostovoy’s game, without which the analysis would be incomplete – actions in defense.
The last match (at the time of writing) he played as a wingback, which requires a lot of concentration from the player when playing on the defensive. In a role in which Mostovoy does not feel comfortable. It was through his zone that Ufa carried out the largest number of attacks (26 positional, 63% ended with strikes, 0.62 xG). And it was through this zone that Evseev’s wards were supposed to push Berezovsky’s team.It is surprising that this did not happen, and that Mostovoy was not translated above earlier – all his disadvantages appeared.
First of all, this is a game against your opponent:
Contrary to the logic of the episode, Mostovoy, who is next to Aliyev, throws him, allowing him to enter the penalty area and strike without hindrance. This is potentially a goal-scoring chance that could and should have been avoided.
Another weakness is surprisingly the 1v1 game. As easy as Mostovoy beats, it is just as hard for him to tackle in a 1v1 game.He easily lends itself to deceiving movements, easily sways and misses the player. For the attacker, this is not so critical, in many cases the role of the forward is reduced to participating in pressing and counterpressing. But for the winger, and even more so for the wingback, this is extremely important.
The third weakness is fighting and playing on the “second floor”. Despite the relatively high figures for equestrian martial arts, they do not reflect the real picture. Mostovoy avoids riding martial arts, and the coaching staff deliberately does not use him in episodes related to heading. In standard positions at the opposite gate, he takes a place in the center of the field in case of quick attacks. With the standards at their gates – a place in the selection zone.
The topic of martial arts is the least of evils, a vivid example: Driussi, who was previously used in the attack, under the leadership of Semak, greatly added in this component. In addition, riding martial arts for a winger is still not the main thing to be guided by. Especially having Dziuba with Azmun or Karapetyan with Zabolotny in the composition.
Total.
Mostovoy undoubtedly showed himself brightly at the start of this championship, but he is on loan and will have to return to Zenit at the end of the season, in connection with which the question is relevant: is he able to gain a foothold in the first team?
And to answer this question, you should be guided by several variables:
– Composition and depth of the composition.
– Scheme.
And both of these points are interconnected.
In the current roster, Mostovoy can claim two positions: on the left in the midfield, which is very similar to the one he has in Sochi, and Azmun’s position.
In the first case, Mostovoy will be able to permanently move to the center, leaving the flank for Douglas Santos’ connections, and in the center – to look for space between the lines and offer himself there to partners. In addition, he is fast, which will allow Zenit’s coaching staff to include in the match plan not only Azmun, but Mostovoy as well. Zenit will get the option to move the ball in spurts and will be able to break the opponent’s lines more often by dribbling.
At the same time, Andrei is inferior to Driussi in everything related to the advancement of the ball through the passes. This includes awnings. The question of defense will become more acute. Driussi showed great diligence in moving to a new position for himself, but in the first half of the championship it becomes clear that in the case of Mostov at Zenit, an even greater load will fall on Douglas Santos.
For these reasons, using a young winger in a 4-4-2 formation looks risky, and a pragmatic coaching staff is unlikely to go for it, focusing, among other things, on participation in the Champions League. For use as a substitute for Driussi – perhaps, but is it really necessary if there are players of a different plan in the form of Erokhin and Sutormin? Don’t forget about Malcolm. The Brazilian almost does not work out from behind, which automatically puts an end to the simultaneous use of Mostovoy and Malcolm in the specified arrangement.
In the case of Azmun, the situation is different. The concept is simple: keeping the fast-big duet with the load of the opponent’s defensive formations with openings. But even here it is not without conditions. Azmun plays much better with his head and is more suitable for the role of the first striker than Mostovoy. If the Iranian leaves and is replaced by Mostovoy, Zenit will definitely lose in the game on the second floor. This can partly be offset by Driussi’s interactions with Mostov below.
The variant with a change in the scheme is much more realistic and possible. Moving to 4-3-3 with a recovered Malcolm, Zenith will need a left-wing winger. And this is the ideal position for Andrey.
The use as a ten or a playmaker, unfortunately, is now not conditioned by anything. Mostovoy is poorly advancing the ball.
Finally, the last option is to go to another club. Mostovoy showed himself enough to remain a player in the starting lineup of the RPL club.Qualities such as the ability to find a free zone, high-quality ball advance on dashes and dribbles, as well as moderate use of the non-working leg with an understanding of the most dangerous zones in the final third of the opponent make Mostovoy an attractive option on the market for most teams, since they are not typical for home-grown football players in league.
And then, we must not forget that this is the debut season for a midfielder in the RPL. Less than a year ago, Mostovoy’s statistics looked something like this:
And he was able to transfer most of it to the game in the top league. For a debut, this is already an excellent result.

Where to go to rest in September
Once upon a time in Russia, September 1 was celebrated the New Year, for modern schoolchildren and students – the beginning of the academic year.Outside the window – Indian summer, and in the resorts – the velvet season. If you are one of those lucky ones who go on vacation in September, then it’s time to think and plan your vacation. Where to go to have a rest in September at sea
Significant advantages of this period – a decline in the number of tourists, a decrease in prices for services of travel agencies, not as hot as in the height of summer, but still warm weather. For those who prefer to soak up the beach, there are tons of options.
Turkey ranks first among the sea resorts. In the first days of September, prices for tours are reduced by 25-30%. This is followed by Spain, Greece (note, the EU authorities, as an experiment, allowed Greece to allow Russian tourists without visas. The experiment will last from July 7 to September 30, 2012), Cyprus, Egypt, Israel, the United Arab Emirates (from May to September, the air temperature reaches 45 C), Malta, Mallorca, Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, Crimea.
For exotic lovers – Tunisia, the island of Ibiza, Indonesia (the air temperature here from April to October constantly stays at about 25-30 degrees), Bali, where it is slightly warmer (year-round temperature +28.. + 32 °).
But in Thailand, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and the Philippines at this time it is the rainy season, during which a significant part of the annual rainfall falls, so we do not recommend going there during this period.
In Russia, the velvet season can be observed on the Black Sea coast, especially in the Gelendzhik – Anapa section, and in the post-Soviet countries – in Ukraine (South Coast of Crimea), in Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and southern Kazakhstan. During this period, there are also a lot of fairly cheap fruits in the region.
Where to go for a vacation in September
One of the most traditional options is a tour to Europe, it can be either train or bus.
So, for example, in 12 days you can visit several countries Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, and not just visit, but get to know their culture, traditions, visit the main attractions and go shopping.
For lovers of the water element, you can take a ferry cruise in Scandinavia.
Italy can be considered one of the record holders for the holidays in September. Here, on the eve of the birthday of Our Lady (September 6-7), the annual historical holiday of lanterns (Festa della Rificolona) starts, Piedigrotta (Festa di Piedigrotta) – a festival-competition for the best lyric song is held in Naples on September 7, “White Night” in Rome (La Notte Bianca) will be held this year – 8 September, the Pizzafest Pizza Festival in Naples – 13 September, the International Cheese Festival is held every two years in the Italian city of Bra (Piedmont region) this year – 21 September and the Crafts Festival in the Italian province of Tuscany – in the town of Montepulciano. The holiday will open on September 28 and last a week.
Where to go to have a rest in September in Russia
You can have a great rest without leaving the country. In Russia – Boldin autumn.
To return to the Pushkin era, you can go on an excursion to B. Boldino, located in the Nizhny Novgorod region, to St. Petersburg or Moscow (excursion groups are recruited all year round).
Tours around the Golden Ring of Russia and ancient cities (Veliky Novgorod, Pskov, Smolensk, etc.) are also traditional.).
If you prefer active holidays with backpacks and tents, you can go hiking. For example, in the Crimea and the Carpathians. A group of 6 people under the guidance of a professional instructor covers a distance of more than 100 km per week.
Horseback riding will help you to feel in harmony with nature. They are organized at any time of the year and anywhere. You don’t have to be a professional rider to do this. Experienced instructors teach beginners and newcomers alike.Depending on the level of training, you can choose either a weekend walk or a long trek over considerable distances. Also in the program of horse trips, races, games, excursions are often held. In the list of proposals: Ural, Altai, Caucasus, Mari – El.
If an iron horse is nevertheless closer to you, then cycling tourism. Its geography in Russia is extensive, there are fascinating and educational routes in the middle lane, and in the north-west, in the Urals, Altai and in the Baikal region. This does not mean at all that for several days you will have to carry a heavy backpack with everything you need, as a rule, travel agencies provide an escort car.
For those who want to combine business with pleasure, expeditions are suitable. At your request, for a group of 5-20 people, we will develop a route from 3-4 days to two weeks. The choice is from Kola to Chukotka. The mission of the expedition can be different: reaching a certain place, repeating a part of some famous path or journey. Perhaps it will be a trophy raid on cars.
And if you are attracted by mountain peaks and you have always dreamed of feeling like a climber, then you can choose a mountain hike, for example, in the Caucasus.
If there is still not enough extreme in everyday life and you want new thrills, then a 2-3-day kayaking will do. There are enough options: Kaluga, Tver, Vladimir, Oryol, Nizhny Novgorod, Arkhangelsk regions, Mordovia, Karelia.
In any case, the choice is yours, but remember, the main thing is still rest in good company.

90,000 In Russia, they offered to finish the season without Kazakhstanis
The “Championship” edition considered the option of resuming Russian Premier League without foreign players.
In the RPL, Bakhtiyor Zainutdinov plays for Rostov, , for Sochi – Akmal Bakhtiyarov , and for Orenburg – Islambek Kuat , who joined the club on January 1. This season, Zainutdinov scored three goals and gave two assists in 12 matches, Kuat played three games, and Bakhtiyarov two.
“Today, no one knows whether it will be possible to finish the championship at all, but we believe in an optimistic scenario. The return of foreigners to Russia may become a big problem: even if restrictions are gradually eased from May 12, it is not known how soon the borders will be opened when the regular international air traffic and how many weeks the legionnaires will spend in quarantine. In addition, it is necessary to take into account the plans and prohibitions not only of Russia, but also of many other countries.
Of course, RPL clubs will not remain without all the legionnaires – this is unambiguous. Some will return on charters, some have not left Russia at all. For example, Zenit did not plan to let the foreigners go anywhere (and, judging by the profiles on social networks, most Argentines and Brazilians in St. Petersburg), as if a number of Krasnodar players remained in Russia, the Brazilians Guilherme, Joaozinho, Mario Fernandez did not leave, Ayrton, Murilo, Ari.And the return of players from neighboring countries – Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan and so on – should be much easier.
As of today, it is not possible to take into account all the nuances, so we will put all clubs on an equal footing: no foreigners – period. If it is very difficult to believe in the reality of a situation in which legionnaires will not play in RPL, try to perceive the text easier. For example, as a comparison of the Russian backbone among the top clubs and their current readiness to replace elite foreigners with home-grown performers.
“Rostov”
According to the above rules, we do not even include representatives of Kazakhstan (although they are not legionnaires) and Uzbekistan, therefore “Rostov” was left without Shomurodov and Zainutdinov. Actually, Valery Karpin will have two critical losses: Norman (the motor of the central zone) and Shomurodov (striker and targetman). But Mamaev will come in very handy, another engine, Bayramyan, will not go anywhere, and the line of defense will appear in a completely combat-ready form. The strength of the composition on a 10-point scale: 6.5 “, – writes the site.
Recall that the RPL was interrupted on March 17 due to the coronavirus pandemic. Initially, the tournament was stopped until April 10, but then this period was extended until May 31. Two options for resuming the championship are currently being considered.
Before the suspension, RPL clubs managed to play 22 rounds out of 30 planned. According to the latest data, 106 thousand 498 people were infected with COVID-19 in Russia, 11 thousand 619 were cured, 1073 died.

90,000 Symbolic team of players KPL-2018
Prosports.kz decided to diversify the choice of the symbolic team and to highlight the names of all possible candidates for this team to the maximum. Therefore, we alternately represent teams made up of the best players with a Kazakhstani passport, legionnaires and young stars. And only after that we will demonstrate our symbolic KPL-2018 team.
Kazakhstan national team
Nenad Erich (Astana) – Dmitry Shomko (Astana), Yuri Logvinenko (Astana), Evgeny Postnikov (Astana), Gafurzhan Suyumbaev (Kairat) – Bauyrzhan Islamkhan (“Kairat”), Islambek Kuat (“Kairat”), Serikzhan Muzhikov (“Astana”) – Roman Murtazaev (“Astana”), Alexey Shchetkin (“Astana”), Bauyrzhan Turysbek (“Tobol”)
Chief coach: Grigory Babayan (Astana)
The national team of Kazakhstan was discussed this year as, probably, never before. Moreover, the tone of the conversations was at least neutral. The fact is that the domestic team had real chances to qualify for UEFA EURO 2020 through a newborn tournament – the League of Nations. And we were led forward by Stanimir Stoilov , fished out of Astana, , whose name is associated with the extreme successes of Kazakhstani football.
Therefore, we will start our conversation with the players who have a turquoise passport. With the goalkeeper’s position, this time everything is simple. The guys from “Kairat” – Vladimir Plotnikov and Stas Pokatilov – frankly ruined the season. And if the first one is simply not trusted in the club (although Stoilov regularly calls), then his partner in the “people’s team” smeared the impression with his own game. David Loria , who joined them, , who was definitely the best in his position last year, did not have time to recover from his injury.
“Kairat” signed David Loria. And for what?
The future (most likely) goalkeeper of Astana Dmitry Nepogodov is good, but not enough to be recognized as the strongest in the country.Young by goalkeeper’s standards Marsel Islamkulov loses the competition in “Kaisar”, but he definitely has everything ahead. More experienced guys like Bekbaev and Narzikulov spent a plus or minus even season without jumping over their heads. That is why they justly remain outside the symbolic team. Thus, the only candidate for the goalkeeper position is the leader of the national champion.
What else can be noted here? For example, the position of the second center-back. Temirlan Yerlanov could count on the vacancy. However, the “Ordabasy” back failed to make a decisive step forward after the last season. But Evgeny Postnikov , on the contrary, proved to be a smart replacement Yuri Logvinenko . Let’s hope that the successfully healed injury will allow Yerlanov to progress further and easily replace the age Postnikov in the national team.
The midfield line turned out to be extremely attacking. After all, the midfielders who sharpen the game have shown themselves much brighter than their more defensive counterparts. There is only one defensive midfielder in our team, and this is Islambek Kuat . Midfielder “Kairat” was criticized at the end of the season – and not without reason. However, the whole year must be taken into account. And if you look at the game of Islambek from this angle, it becomes clear that the footballer had a habitually worthy season.
Bauyrzhan Islamkhan also played poorly in recent matches. But this is primarily due to the tactical searches for Karpovich. Unfortunately, Bathorik did not please with a scattering of goals and assists, but confidently conducted the team’s actions, not getting lost against the background of Arshavin and Isael.
Roman Murtazaev and Serikzhan Muzhikov had an uneven season, falling into a functional “hole” several times a year. Another time, such uncertainty of Astana residents could throw them out of the symbolic team, but the only real competitor of Kazakhstanis Georgy Zhukov sat on the bench for too long.
National team of legionnaires
Evgeny Borovik (Akzhaiyk) – Alexander Simchevich (Aktobe), Marin Anichich (Astana), Antonio Rukavina (Astana) – Ivan Mayevsky (Astana), Laszlo Kleinheisler (Astana), Marine Tomasov (Astana), Andrey Arshavin (Kairat), Isael Barbosa (Kairat) – Marcos Pizzelli (Aktobe), Aderinsola Eseola (Kairat)
Head coach : Stoicho Mladenov (“Kaisar”)
Amazing thing: in the conditions of the limit on legionnaires, the Ural club relied on a non-Kazakhstani keeper. The Ukrainian goalkeeper is the only foreigner in this position in the entire Premier League! At least because of this, Borovik should have been watched more closely. Will Evgeniy appear in front of domestic fans next season? Unlikely. After all, Kazakhstani clubs prefer not to waste the scarce legionnaire’s place on the goalkeeper. And in general, if not for the extravagant ex-mentor of “Akzhaiyk” Vladimir Mazar , this goalkeeper did not appear in the championship of Kazakhstan.
There are too many foreign creatives in the CPL, and therefore only three vacancies were given to the defenders in our symbolic team. Two of them are being taken over by the national champions – Marin Anichich and Antonio Rukavina . No questions asked. A Bosnian has been in Kazakhstan for many years, and no reason has yet been given to doubt his qualities.
Serb arrived only this summer. Due to such a late appearance and an indistinct functional state (Rukavina played at the World Cup), the footballer was unable to show his best qualities in the CPL. However, he did it regularly in European competitions. And in those few matches of the CPL, in which I was still able to take part, I completely concreted my flank.
In support of the capital’s two, we are sending one of the leaders of “Aktobe” Aleksandar Simchevich . The player, the rights to which belong to the Shymkent club, impressed the red and whites so much that he became the team’s vice-captain and came out with a bandage when Pizzelli was not there. Believe me, Simchevich will not get lost in the environment of Astana residents – he spent the season almost at the level of Anicic, and cleaned up after his teammates even more abruptly than a Bosnian.
In the midfield line there are completely leaders of Astana and Kairat.Which, however, is not surprising. And in the attack – Marcos Pizzelli and Aderinsola Eseola . And if everything is very clear with the Aktobe captain, the figure of the Ukrainian striker raised questions all year.
Derin was wildly lucky at the start of the season. It was then, in Akzhaiyk, that the forward made a name for himself and attracted the attention of the “people’s team”. But it’s worth noting that Eseola shouldn’t have scored that much. In any case, judging by his statistics.
Perhaps the legionnaire did not guess right with the team when he left Uralsk.Derin megakrut in a counterattacking game, which he demonstrated in the match with AZ in Almaty. He has great dribbling, opens up well and can pull the ball. However, in terms of combination play, things are not so good. He has a low percentage of transmission accuracy. This is a huge disadvantage for the Kairat footballer. Perhaps this is due to the short time at the club and the numerous changes that the team has undergone.
“I don’t think that the players currently playing for the Croatian national team are much better than me.I win trophies, I play well and score well in Europe ”
Marin Tomasov
Kaisar coach Stoicho Mladenov is the head of the symbolic team of legionnaires Stoicho Mladenov . In fact, the fifth place in Kyzylorda is not a surprise at all. “Wolves” have taught that their rightful place is in the top six. This is confirmed by the budget of the club – the region does not skimp on the maintenance of the team (the fifth cost of the composition in the league). However, it is impossible not to mention the work of the Bulgarian specialist – after all, it was he who built this militant collective. For example, the cost of “Irtysh” is only 300 thousand euros cheaper. But where is the Pavlodar club?
Mladenov became his own in Kyzylorda and behaves with dignity: he does not drag “his” players to the team, is not noticed in scandals and even visits places sacred for the indigenous population. When Stoicho is about to leave, Kyzylorda will cry for a long time.
Youth team
Igor Trofimets (Aktobe) – Yan Vorogovsky (Kairat), Nuraly Alip (Kairat), Aybol Abiken (Kairat), Alexander Sokolenko (Kairat) – Samat Shamshi (Ordabasy), Maxim Fedin (Tobol), Bakhtiyor Zainutdinov (Astana), Vyacheslav Shvyrev (Kairat) – Samat Sarsenov (Kairat), Oralkhan Omirtaev (Shakhtar)
Head coach : Andrey Karpovich (“Kairat”)
Like a year ago, the Almaty club has become the main supplier of young talents in the Premier League. In principle, this trend fits the “new vector of development” announced by Kairat Boranbayev . But at the start of the season, the yellow-black coaching staff led by Carlos Alos Ferrer introduced the youth smoothly. But at the end of the year, the young guys were simply thrown into the embrasures, forcing them to fight on equal terms with the most experienced Kazakhstanis and overseas legionnaires. It is not clear whether such shock therapy will benefit young Kairat residents.
At the same time, it must be admitted: next year Almaty residents can leave with a completely Kazakhstani line of defense. In any case, for most KPL matches, for sure. Yan Vorogovsky , who showed himself quite well last season, played gorgeous under the leadership of Ferrer. If not for the injury, questions about the main left-back did not arise at all.
Replaced Yan bought from Kyzyl-Zhar Alexander Sokolenko . He lacks only composure at the gates of others and the ability to predict events – at his own. Because of this, Sokolenko often goes into tackles, which threatens with cards.
The partners of Yan and Alexander from the center of defense are happy – Nuraly Alip and Aibol Abiken .These two are capable of becoming the future of the national team of Kazakhstan for the next 15 years. Alip stands out especially. The guy is so good that he gets compliments from Stoilov. And in our football, this is akin to a blessing.
“Alip is lazy. But if there is someone who will work with him, he will become the second Logvinenko. ”
Stanimir Stoilov
Unfortunately, the attacking players of Almaty are not so tough. And if Shvyrev has an excuse (he is 17), then Samat Sarsenov , who is five years older than Vyacheslav, should already fully demonstrate his qualities. It turns out so far not very much. For the sake of fairness, we note that Samat was included in the composition only under Karpovich, and the coach did not have time to reveal all the forward’s abilities.
Goalkeeper’s position goes to Igor Trofimts from Aktobe. It is noteworthy that in recent years this club has been preparing promising keepers (Trofimets, Pavlov, Pokatilov).Yes, the 22-year-old goalkeeper ousted the experienced Ramil Nurmukhametov only at the end of the season. But this fact only proves: Mukhanov does not flirt with the fans, putting the young one in the gate. Trofimets legally took away the right to a place at the base.
In the middle of the field, Samat Shamshi , Maxim Fedin and Bakhtiyor Zainutdinov are added to Shvyrev. And if the former approached the Ordabasy base very carefully, the latter two literally rush to the stars. This season Maxim has become a real leader of Tobol, despite his young age.
And although Zainutdinov did not become the “heart” of the champion of the country, he played almost 30 matches in his debut season. At the same time, Bakhtiyor was forced to prove his worth to three head coaches at once. It did not work with everyone, but Grigory Babayan definitely trusts the youngster – he shouldered some of the functions of controlling the pace of the game on his shoulders.
In addition, Shakhtar’s player Oralkhan Omirtaev is represented in the attack. The 20-year-old striker is not impressive with his performance – four goals in 23 KPL matches. However, it was with him in the attack that the Karagandans kept their registration in the top division. And Omirtaev himself deserved a call to the national team. And even managed to score a goal against the Georgians! And this fact is really a plus for the young striker.
KPL team
Nenad Erich (Astana) – Dmitry Shomko (Astana), Yuri Logvinenko (Astana), Marin Anichich (Astana), Gafurzhan Suyumbaev (Kairat) – Ivan Mayevsky (Astana), Laszlo Kleinheisler (Astana), Marin Tomasov (Astana), Andrey Arshavin (Kairat), Isael Barbosa (Kairat) – Marcos Pizzelli (Aktobe)
Head coach : Grigory Babayan (Astana)
Summing up, we can once again be convinced of the axiom – there are no really strong attacking players in Kazakhstani football. The limit on legionnaires ruins creative guys – they are either not allowed to go to the base, or they are paid frenzied salaries to keep them in their team. As a result, good players simply do not get gaming experience and stop developing, and potential stars get fed up with money early and relate to the profession carelessly.
For such a conclusion, one does not need to be seven inches in the forehead. Just look at the final version of the symbolic KPL-2018 team. On the goalkeeper’s position – Erich. Nenad’s replacement in our team is Nepogodov.Yes, both players are naturalized. But Kazakhstan never had any special problems with the goalkeeper’s position. It’s just that this season turned out to be unsuccessful for home-grown craftsmen.
The defenders are practically all Kazakhstanis. But a player of the level of Anichich simply must be in our championship so that the domestic defencists understand that they still need to work a lot on themselves. The only drawback that catches your eye is an overabundance of powerful left laterals and a lack of right-footed ones. It remains to be hoped that the station wagon Vorogovsky and the right-hander Sokolenko will soon reach a qualitatively new level.
But the middle of the field and the attack Prosports.kz gives into the hands of legionnaires. Ivan Mayevsky and Laszlo Kleinheisler simply burned out the center in the matches of Astana, both in the national championship and in the European Cup meetings. There is no point in doubting their highest level. Another thing is that Kuat in his best form could compete with one of the foreigners for a place in this team. But the season-2018 Islambek himself is unlikely to want to add to his asset.
Marine Tomasov has been a player of the mood throughout his career. When a Croat is happy and in good shape, it is almost impossible to stop him. That he demonstrated at the start of his debut full season in Kazakhstan. With his game “Golpasov” demonstrated that Astana residents no longer need to look for a replacement Patrick Twumasi . In addition, the midfielder took over some of the bombing tasks. As a result, for the 2018 season Tomasov scored 29 points according to the “goal + pass” system! Nobody managed to catch up with Marina on this indicator.
It is worth noting that the Croat was frankly lost in the summer matches and even dropped out of the base. But he was completely rehabilitated in the fall. And a whole bunch of individual prizes won in recent months do not allow Tomasov to be left behind this team.
Isael and Arshavin are one of the few to whom the leadership of “Kairat” should have the least questions. It is difficult to imagine what will happen to the Almaty team without them. The Brazilian and the Russian directly participated in 42 of the 60 goals of the yellow-blacks. They were too valuable personnel.
“The arrival of Marcos became an example for many who are now in our team”
Ulugbek Asanbayev
Marcos is the main comeback of the season.
