The program consists of 60 hours: 35 hours of theory and 25 hours of practice. At the end of the training, coaches take two-hour theory exams, one hour on coaching, the basics of technique and refereeing practice. At least 3-4 second level trainers are invited. The exams are taken by the national federation.

Fourth level . Coaches of the first three levels who have experience in coaching with district teams and clubs are invited to the training. They are trained to work with juniors and youth with a high competitive level. The training is organized by Norwegian ski schools and the national federation. Speakers are coaches of national teams. The training consists of 100 hours. The task of the fourth level is to prepare coaches for the highest level of district teams among juniors, ski gymnasiums and national teams.
