What are the benefits of attending girls lacrosse recruiting camps. How can athletes make the most of these opportunities. What factors should be considered when choosing a camp. How do college coaches view prospect days and clinics.
The Importance of Girls Lacrosse Recruiting Camps
Girls lacrosse recruiting camps, prospect days, and college clinics play a crucial role in the collegiate recruiting process. These events offer young athletes the opportunity to showcase their skills, network with coaches, and gain valuable insights into college-level play. However, navigating the world of lacrosse camps can be challenging, with various factors to consider before making a commitment.
Pros of Attending Girls Lacrosse Recruiting Camps
Participating in lacrosse recruiting camps can provide numerous benefits for aspiring collegiate athletes. Here are some of the key advantages:
- Networking opportunities with coaches and fellow athletes
- Advanced college-level instruction to enhance skills
- Accurate assessment of abilities compared to peers
- Unbiased evaluations from experienced coaches
- Enjoyable experiences and fun activities
One of the most significant advantages of attending these camps is the chance to build relationships with coaches. Face-to-face interactions can leave a lasting impression and potentially open doors for future recruiting opportunities.
How do lacrosse camps help with skill development?
Lacrosse camps offer intensive training sessions led by experienced coaches, often at the collegiate level. These sessions focus on advanced techniques, strategies, and drills that can significantly improve an athlete’s performance. By learning from top-tier instructors, players can gain a competitive edge and potentially secure a starting position in their high school teams.
Potential Drawbacks of Lacrosse Recruiting Camps
While there are many benefits to attending lacrosse recruiting camps, it’s essential to consider some potential drawbacks:
- High costs associated with registration, travel, and accommodation
- Large crowds of participants, potentially limiting individual attention
- Limited exposure beyond the host university
- Unrealistic expectations of national visibility
The financial aspect of attending camps can be a significant concern for many families. With fees ranging from $300 to $1,000 for overnight camps, it’s crucial to carefully evaluate the potential return on investment before committing to multiple events.
Are lacrosse camps worth the expense?
The value of lacrosse camps depends on various factors, including the athlete’s skill level, recruiting goals, and financial situation. For some players, the networking opportunities and skill development can justify the cost. However, it’s essential to research camps thoroughly and choose those that align with your specific objectives and budget.
Strategies for Choosing the Right Lacrosse Recruiting Camps
Selecting the most appropriate lacrosse recruiting camps requires careful consideration. Here are some strategies to help you make informed decisions:
- Focus on camps hosted by colleges that have shown genuine interest in you
- Research the camp format, including the number of participants and teaching structure
- Consider attending camps at schools you’re particularly interested in attending
- Balance your camp schedule with other recruiting activities and budget constraints
- Seek recommendations from coaches, teammates, and recruiting experts
It’s crucial to avoid choosing camps solely based on the reputation of the host school. Instead, prioritize camps where you have already established relationships with coaching staff or have a realistic chance of being recruited.
How can athletes maximize their camp experience?
To make the most of lacrosse recruiting camps, athletes should:
- Prepare physically and mentally before the camp
- Set specific goals for skill improvement and networking
- Actively engage with coaches and fellow athletes
- Take notes on feedback and areas for improvement
- Follow up with coaches after the camp to maintain relationships
The Role of College Coaches in Lacrosse Recruiting Camps
Understanding the perspective of college coaches is essential when evaluating the effectiveness of lacrosse recruiting camps. Many coaches use these events as an opportunity to assess players they’ve already identified as potential recruits.
How do college coaches approach recruiting at camps?
College coaches often have a “short list” of athletes they’re particularly interested in evaluating during camps. For example, a Division I coach revealed that out of 400+ expected campers, only about 7 or 8 were on their staff’s priority list. These athletes had typically been in communication with the coaching staff well before the camp date.
This approach highlights the importance of establishing relationships with coaches prior to attending camps. While other participants may still benefit from the experience and instruction, they may not factor into the host school’s immediate recruiting plans.
Alternative Recruiting Strategies for Girls Lacrosse Players
While lacrosse recruiting camps can be valuable, they shouldn’t be the sole focus of an athlete’s recruiting efforts. Consider these alternative strategies to complement your camp experiences:
- Create and distribute highlight videos to college coaches
- Participate in club teams and tournaments
- Attend showcase events and college ID camps
- Utilize online recruiting platforms and services
- Maintain strong academic performance to broaden opportunities
Diversifying your recruiting approach can increase your chances of finding the right collegiate fit and potentially reduce the financial burden of attending numerous camps.
How can athletes effectively communicate with college coaches outside of camps?
Effective communication with college coaches involves:
- Sending personalized emails expressing interest in their program
- Providing regular updates on athletic and academic achievements
- Responding promptly and professionally to coach inquiries
- Utilizing social media platforms responsibly to showcase skills and character
- Arranging campus visits and meetings when appropriate
The Future of Girls Lacrosse Recruiting Camps
As the landscape of college recruiting continues to evolve, so too will the role of lacrosse recruiting camps. Several factors are likely to shape the future of these events:
- Increased use of technology for virtual evaluations and instruction
- Greater emphasis on data-driven performance metrics
- More specialized camps focusing on specific positions or skills
- Enhanced integration with online recruiting platforms
- Growing importance of academic components in camp curriculum
These changes may offer new opportunities for athletes to showcase their talents and connect with college programs, potentially reducing the need for extensive travel and high costs associated with traditional camps.
How might technology impact the future of lacrosse recruiting camps?
Advancements in technology could revolutionize lacrosse recruiting camps by:
- Enabling remote participation through live-streaming and virtual reality
- Providing more accurate performance data through wearable devices and AI analysis
- Facilitating easier communication between athletes, coaches, and parents
- Offering personalized training programs based on individual athlete profiles
- Creating more accessible and affordable camp experiences for a wider range of athletes
Balancing Academics and Athletics in the Recruiting Process
While lacrosse recruiting camps focus primarily on athletic performance, it’s crucial for athletes to maintain a strong academic record throughout the recruiting process. Many college programs place significant emphasis on academic achievement when evaluating potential recruits.
How do academics factor into the lacrosse recruiting process?
Academic performance plays a vital role in lacrosse recruiting by:
- Expanding the range of schools an athlete can consider
- Increasing opportunities for academic scholarships
- Demonstrating time management and discipline to coaches
- Meeting NCAA eligibility requirements for student-athletes
- Preparing athletes for the rigors of balancing academics and athletics in college
Athletes should strive to maintain a competitive GPA and standardized test scores alongside their lacrosse achievements to maximize their recruiting potential.
Mental Preparation for Lacrosse Recruiting Camps
Success at lacrosse recruiting camps requires more than just physical skills. Mental preparation is equally important for athletes looking to make a strong impression on coaches and perform at their best.
How can athletes mentally prepare for lacrosse recruiting camps?
To enhance mental readiness for camps, athletes should:
- Practice visualization techniques to imagine successful performances
- Develop pre-camp routines to manage anxiety and boost confidence
- Set realistic goals and focus on personal improvement rather than comparison
- Learn and practice stress management techniques
- Cultivate a growth mindset to embrace challenges and learn from mistakes
By prioritizing mental preparation alongside physical training, athletes can maximize their performance and make the most of their camp experiences.
In conclusion, girls lacrosse recruiting camps offer valuable opportunities for skill development, networking, and exposure to college programs. However, it’s essential for athletes and their families to carefully consider the pros and cons of each camp, develop a strategic approach to camp selection, and complement camp experiences with other recruiting efforts. By taking a holistic approach to the recruiting process, lacrosse players can increase their chances of finding the right collegiate fit and achieving their athletic goals.

The Pros & Cons of College Camps
article by Rex Grayner
Rex is widely considered among the nation’s premier authorities on college athletic recruiting. Before founding Student-Athlete Showcase LLC in 2003, Rex served as a NCAA Division I Compliance Representative)
The truth is, as with many college recruiting-related topics, you’re bound to find several different perspectives and various answers to questions about summer camps. So depending on your individual collegiate goals, your projected Division I or II status, your availability and your budget, perhaps you should consider the pros and cons of attending summer college camps before filling your calendar with camp dates
The Good –
Networking. Summer camps are great for networking with coaches and prospective athletes. You’re going to meet other student-athletes from around the country and be able to share your experiences with kids from various backgrounds. Plus, it’s NEVER a bad idea to build relationships with coaches, and camps are great face to face venues.
Instruction. Camps help enhance athletic development and skill levels with advanced college-level instruction. So if you’re on the cusp of starting next season, what you learn at a camp may help give you the edge!
Accurate Assessment. Gain new perspective on your abilities by performing with and against other top players your age. It’s common to overrate yourself. Camps often provide a stage for helping you more precisely assess yourself.
Unbiased Evaluation. College coaches usually don’t “sugar coat” things. So at camps, you’re likely to get the skinny about your true potential from credible sources that aren’t around you everyday.
Fun. Camps can be a blast. Sure, you can pretty much count on working hard while you’re there, but most camps reserve plenty of time for fun activities as well.
The Not So Good-
Expensive. Camps aren’t cheap. In most cases, fees for overnight camps can range from $300 to $1,000, depending on the duration, format and amenities. So choose wisely.
Crowds. It’s true… tons of kids show up to these things. You might visualize a few days of 1-on-1 instruction, only to show up with 500+ other prospects who are all expecting the same thing. So do your due diligence before registering. Know how many athletes will attend and understand the teaching format. It will spare you much disappointment.
Exposure? Many camps have advertised in the past that their event was a great venue for creating national collegiate exposure. In reality, the only real exposure you should expect to receive is from the camp’s host university. In fact, NCAA passed rules which prohibit coaches from other colleges attending camps and combines off campus. So don’t attend a college camp this summer expecting national visibility, because it typically doesn’t happen.
Where? A common question among prospective campers… which camps should I attend? Your big name, Division I powerhouses attract the nation’s top prospects AND hoards of other campers every year. And it makes sense, too. Traditionally, camping at Pac 10, Big 10 and SEC-level schools were considered great resume-builders for hopeful college prospects. The problem is, most college coaches at these schools are relying on the attendance of a few key recruits. One college coach from an east coast Division I program told me that of the 400+ campers he is expecting to host, only about 7 or 8 of these athletes are on his staff’s “short list,” he called it. In fact, these were kids his staff had been corresponding with well in advance of the camp, and that the camp was a great opportunity for them to see these kids face-to-face. The other 390+ campers were sure to have fun and learn some important fundamentals, but they weren’t going to factor into any future recruiting plans with this staff.
Our message to high school athletes who are considering adding summer camps to their already incredibly busy schedules is this:
Choose your camp locations carefully. Don’t go to a camp simply because it’s being hosted by a big-name school. Instead, camp at colleges that have already shown genuine interest in you; where you have already started building relationships with their coaching staff long before the camp date. That way, camps aren’t just a place to spend 3 or 4 days and hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars. Instead, they become part of your active recruiting game plan.
Also, if you have your sights set on a particular college/university, and if you have the time and money to attend their camp, then do it! Go to their camp and have a blast. Hopefully, attending the camp will help solidify the coaches’ interest in you. But don’t put all your eggs in one basket, and don’t be incredibly surprised if the camp doesn’t produce a full-ride scholarship as a direct result of your attendance. For 99% of college prospects out there, several other stages of the recruiting process must occur before a scholarship offer is made.
Finally, remember that college camps are opportunities for YOU to evaluate the coaching staff in person as well. While college coaches have the daunting task of narrowing their list of prospects from hundreds (sometimes thousands) down to just a select few, you too need to position yourself for multiple college options, and you should put in the time to thoroughly research these choices. Spending time on college campuses and spending time with college coaches is among your best research tactics.

Today, news releases every day broadcast about the brutal terrorist attacks, about the hostilities that unfolded in the Middle East and neighboring Ukraine, about heated disputes between the heads of developed states. This state of affairs is frightening, and more and more often the question is popping up in the world community: Will there be World War 3 in 2018?
Perhaps now we can try to resolve this dilemma by referring to the forecasts of analysts and great prophets. True, opinions on this matter are ambiguous, so you should not rely on them entirely.
Experienced political scientists are sure that the mechanism of the war was launched several years ago, when the power in Ukraine was overthrown. The new government did not skimp on harsh statements, and their henchmen tried in every possible way to sow the seed of enmity between the two fraternal peoples.
A full-scale information war broke out that fueled hatred and contempt in the hearts of former relatives, friends and neighbors. Real “virtual” battles took place on various forums, social networks and news portals, where commentators were generous with expressions and each side provided irrefutable facts of the enemy’s guilt.
If even two fraternal peoples who shared victories and defeats among themselves for a long time were able to come to a serious conflict, then what can we say about other countries ready to “throw out” anger and aggression at the first call.
Some political observers insist that World War III began when the United States launched Operation Desert Storm in an effort to overthrow the supposedly undemocratic president in Iraq. The Tempest brought America control over all of the country’s natural resources.
There is a theory that Russia and America are two powerful powers that could become the instigators of the Third World War. It is from them that the danger of a military conflict emanates now, because in those places where their interests are in contact, tension is already felt.
There are experts who argue that the misunderstanding with America stems from the growing ties between China and Russia. The United States understands that it is losing ground and is trying in every possible way to discredit Russia in the eyes of the world community.
Various methods are used to make the Russian Federation weaker:
- reduction in oil prices;
- EU sanctions;
- involvement of Russia in the arms race;
- encouragement of mass protests in the Russian Federation.
Thus, America is trying to come to a situation that collapsed the USSR in 1991.
Prophecies of psychics about the Third World War
Throughout the history of mankind, many seers foreshadowed the beginning of the Third World War. Some of them even claimed that this battle would lead to the complete destruction of our race and the emergence of new, unique creatures.
Nostradamus at one time, saw the development of two world wars, and regarding the third, he did not give any unequivocal answers.Although he did not deny the fact that a large-scale battle is possible due to the fault of the Antichrist, which will be distinguished by cruelty and inhumanity.
In turn, the famous Bulgarian clairvoyant, indicate that the Third World War will begin with a small state in Asia and spread throughout the planet. Judging by her comments, it will be Syria.
The reason for full-fledged military action will be an attack on the leaders of the four developed powers. Wanga said that the consequences of a new war would be dire.
Pavel Globa gives more optimistic forecasts regarding the Third World War. He argues that only a timely cessation of hostilities in Iran will prevent the development of a full-scale world war.
Will there be a war in the Russian Federation?
The expert and political analyst I. Hagopian is sure that a full-fledged preparation for the war between America and Russia is already underway. He published his guesses on the Internet portal “GlobalReasers”.Hagopian states that America is likely to receive support in this battle from:
- Australia;
- NATO countries;
- Israel.
At the same time, Russia will find allies among China and India. The expert claims that America is moving towards bankruptcy and in order not to impoverish completely, its government will decide to take possession of the wealth of the Russian Federation. He stressed that as a result of such a military conflict, some countries may completely disappear from the face of the earth.
Former NATO leader A. Shirreff made similar forecasts. As evidence, he even published a book detailing the course of the battle. The military confrontation will begin with the Baltics, which Russia will decide to “get its hands on”.
But this state of affairs will cause discontent among the inhabitants, NATO will support the Baltic states and the Third World War will begin. On the one hand, the plot of this book seems fabulous and frivolous, but if you take into account the fact that the story was written by a retired general, the chances of its realization increase.
In addition to the war outside the state, Russia will face internal strife. The tense economic situation will provoke discontent among the population, mass rallies and robberies will begin. Nevertheless, this situation will not last long and by the end of 2018, experts say, the state will begin its phased recovery and get out of the crisis pit.
Socio-political tension is constantly growing in the world. And some experts predict that everything may turn into a global conflict. How realistic is it in the short term?
Risk remains
It is unlikely that today someone is pursuing the goal of unleashing a world war. Previously, if a large-scale conflict was brewing, the instigator always hoped to end it as quickly as possible and with minimal losses. However, as history shows, almost all “blitzkriegs” resulted in a protracted confrontation involving a huge amount of human and material resources. Such wars caused damage to both the loser and the winner.
Nevertheless, wars have always been and, unfortunately, will continue to arise, as someone wants to have more resources, while someone defends their borders, including from massive illegal migration, fights terrorism or demands the restoration of their rights in in accordance with the previously concluded agreements.
In the event that countries do decide to get involved in a global war, then, according to many experts, they will certainly split into different camps, which will be approximately equal in strength. The aggregate military, primarily nuclear, potential of the powers that hypothetically take part in the collision is capable of destroying all life on the planet dozens of times. How likely is it that the coalitions will start this suicidal war? Analysts say it is not great, but the danger remains.
Political poles
The modern world order is far from what it was after the Second World War. However, formally, it continues to exist on the basis of the Yalta and Bretton Woods agreements of the states of the anti-Hitler coalition. The only thing that has changed is the balance of power that took shape during the Cold War. The two poles of world geopolitics today, as well as half a century ago, are determined by Russia and the United States.
Russia crossed the Rubicon, and it did not pass without a trace and painless for her: it temporarily lost its superpower status and lost its traditional allies. However, our country has managed to maintain integrity, retain influence in the post-Soviet space, revive the military-industrial complex and acquire new strategic partners.
The financial and political elite of the United States, as in the good old days, under democratic slogans continues to carry out military expansion far from its borders, at the same time successfully imposing on the leading countries beneficial “anti-crisis” and “anti-terrorist” policies.
In recent years, China has persistently wedged itself into the confrontation between Russia and the United States. The eastern dragon, while maintaining good relations with Russia, nevertheless does not take sides. Possessing the largest army and carrying out rearmament on an unprecedented scale, he has every reason for this.
A united Europe also remains an influential player on the world stage. Despite the dependence on the North Atlantic Alliance, certain forces in the Old World are in favor of an independent political course. The reconstruction of the armed forces of the European Union, which will be carried out by Germany and France, is not far off. In the face of energy shortages, Europe will act decisively, analysts say.
It is impossible not to pay attention to the growing threat posed by radical Islam in the Middle East. This is not only the growing extremist nature of the actions of Islamic groups in the region every year, but also the expansion of the geography and tools of terrorism.
Unions
Recently, we are increasingly witnessing the consolidation of various union associations. This is evidenced, on the one hand, by the summits of Donald Trump and the leaders of Israel, South Korea, Japan, Britain and other leading European countries, and on the other, by the meetings of heads of state within the framework of the BRICS bloc, which attracts new international partners.During the talks, not only trade, economic and political issues are discussed, but also all kinds of aspects of military cooperation.
Well-known military analyst Joachim Hagopian emphasized back in 2015 that America and Russia ‘recruiting friends’ is not accidental. China and India, in his opinion, will be drawn into the orbit of Russia, and the European Union will inevitably follow the United States. This is supported by the intensified exercises of NATO countries in Eastern Europe and a military parade with the participation of Indian and Chinese units on Red Square.
Adviser to the President of Russia Sergei Glazyev declares that it will be beneficial and even fundamentally important for our country to create a coalition from any countries that do not support militant rhetoric directed against the Russian state. Then, according to him, the United States will have to moderate its ardor.
At the same time, it will be of great importance what position will be taken by Turkey, which is almost a key figure capable of acting as a catalyst for relations between Europe and the Middle East, and more broadly, between the West and the countries of the Asian region. What we are seeing now is Istanbul’s cunning game on the disagreements between the United States and Russia.
Resources
Foreign and domestic analysts are inclined to conclude that a global war could be provoked by the global financial crisis. The most serious problem of the leading countries of the world lies in the close intertwining of their economies: the collapse of one of them will entail grave consequences for others.
The war that may follow a devastating crisis will be fought not so much for territories as for resources. For example, analysts Alexander Sobyanin and Marat Shibutov build the following hierarchy of resources that the beneficiary will receive: people, uranium, gas, oil, coal, mining raw materials, drinking water, agricultural land.
It is curious that, from the point of view of some experts, the status of a universally recognized world leader does not guarantee the United States victory in such a war. In the past, NATO commander-in-chief Richard Schiffer, in his book 2017: War with Russia, predicted a defeat for the United States, which would be caused by the financial collapse and the collapse of the American army.
Who is first?
Today the crisis on the Korean Peninsula could be the trigger that could set off a mechanism, if not a world war, then a global collision. Joachim Hagopian, however, predicts that it is fraught with the use of nuclear charges and at first Russia and the United States will not get involved in it.
Glazyev sees no serious grounds for a global war, but notes that its risk will persist until the United States abandons its claims to world domination. The most dangerous period, according to Glazyev, is the beginning of the 2020s, when the West will come out of the depression, and developed countries, including China and the United States, will begin another round of rearmament. At the peak of a new technological leap, the threat of a global conflict will lie.
It is characteristic that the famous Bulgarian clairvoyant Vanga did not dare to predict the date of the outbreak of the Third World War, indicating only that its cause, most likely, would be religious strife around the world.
“Hybrid Wars”
Not everyone believes in the reality of World War III.Why go to massive sacrifices and destruction, if there is a long-tested and more effective means – “hybrid war”. In the “White Paper”, intended for the commanders of the special forces of the American army, in the section “Winning in a Complex World” contains all the comprehensive information on this matter.
It says that any military operations against the authorities primarily imply implicit and covert actions. Their essence is in the attack by the forces of rebels or terrorist organizations (which are supplied from abroad with money and weapons) on government structures.Sooner or later, the existing regime loses control over the situation and gives up its country to the sponsors of the coup.
The Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, General Valery Gerasimov, considers “hybrid warfare” a means that is many times superior in its results to any open military clashes.
Capital can do anything
Nowadays, it is not only conspiracy theorists who believe that both world wars were largely provoked by Anglo-American financial corporations, which were extracting fabulous profits from militarization. And their ultimate goal is to establish the so-called “American peace”.
“Today we are on the verge of a grandiose reformatting of the world order, the instrument of which will again be war,” says the writer Alexei Kungurov. It will be a financial war of world capitalism, directed mainly against the developing countries.
The task of such a war is not to give the periphery any chance of any independence. In underdeveloped or dependent countries, a system of external currency management is established, which forces them to exchange their output, resources and other material values for dollars. The more transactions, the more the American machine will print currencies.
But the main goal of world capital is the Heartland: the territory of the Eurasian continent, most of which is controlled by Russia. Whoever owns the Heartland, with its colossal resource base, will own the world, as the English geopolitician Halford Mackinder said.
Terrorist attacks, armed conflicts and disputes between the leaders of the leading countries … Recently, such events are happening more and more often and give rise to thoughts of a new war that will affect all states of the world. There is an opinion that the Third World War has already begun. It is conducted not on the battlefield, but on the Internet: through mutual attacks and data corruption. Alas, if the battles turn into reality, they can use nuclear weapons and others. This threatens with a huge number of victims and destruction. It is not surprising that more and more people are thinking: is the third world war waiting for the planet? There are a great many opinions on this matter. We have collected all the information available to give you the big picture.
Prophecies of the clairvoyants
In difficult times, even skeptics turn to psychics and psychics in the hope of positive predictions.Unfortunately, this is not the most reliable source. Fictitious “revelations” are often printed under the name of a well-known or not-so-famous seer. On the Internet you can find surprisingly detailed “prophecies” of Wanga, Nostradamus, Edgar Cayce and other prominent clairvoyants.
Many clairvoyants predict a cataclysm, but will it be a world war?
Many of the predictions relate to the Third World War, the role of Russia and Ukraine in the battles, the conflict in Donbass, and so on. Such data is worth checking carefully. The “older” the prediction, the less clear information it provides. As a rule, the real prophecies of clairvoyants are very vague and can be interpreted in different ways. Here are some of these predictions. Believe them or not – the choice is yours.
Wanga’s Predictions
At the end of the last century, the Bulgarian seer promised the beginning of destructive battles: “ War will be everywhere, between all peoples
“. According to Vanga, the events described by her will be equal in scale to the biblical Apocalypse. They will begin, “ when a person loses the ability to compassion
“. Religion must be the cause of the conflict.
It can be assumed that the danger comes from the Islamic East, where the terrorist organization ISIS operates. According to Vanga, the war will be accompanied by a huge number of catastrophes and natural disasters. But the seer did not give exact dates. She told the audience that it was not they who would see the war, but their children – today’s youth.
Prediction of Matrona of Moscow
A blind Russian seer made similar predictions. One of the saint’s most recent predictions has been the subject of much controversy. “ There will be no war, without war everyone will die, there will be many victims, all the dead will lie on the ground … Without war, the war goes on!
”- this is how these words sound. But what does that mean? One of the interpretations assumes a cosmic catastrophe, the other – an incurable disease, from which many people will die. An ecological cataclysm is considered as an option.
According to the predictions of Matrona, the earth is not awaiting the Third World War, but an imminent ecological catastrophe
On the Internet, you can read that the words of Matrona refer to 2017.But this is not the case. The seer, like many of her colleagues, rarely mentioned clear dates. By the way, the terrible prophecy has a continuation: “ At the end of the day, all people will fall to the earth, and at sunrise they will rise, and the world will be different
“. Matrona promised salvation and rebirth to the Russian people.
The prediction of Nostradamus
The legendary seer interpreted the future by the movement of celestial bodies. He passed on his knowledge in collections-almanacs, consisting of quatrains – one for each year. These quatrains should not be taken literally. This cryptic verse refers to the coming year 2017:
“Out of rage, someone will wait for water,
The army is agitated with great fury.
Noblemen are loaded on 17 ships
Along the Rhone; the messenger arrived late. ”
Most likely, the fortuneteller was referring to a disaster at sea. The Rhone River is located in France, and the events described are likely to occur there. But this quatrain hardly portends a global conflict. As for the immediate future, disturbing hints can be seen in the following quatrain. The verse refers to 2018 and contains the following lines:
“The fortress is undermined, and the old freethinker
Will show the Genevan traces of Nir.”
According to one interpretation, World War III will break out in Iran
The cryptic “Nira” is considered an anagram of the word “Iran”. Accordingly, the threat of the Third World War can come from this country. The Non-Aligned Movement becomes a possible initiator of the war.The “Genevaites” can be understood as the United Nations. Its headquarters are located in the Swiss city of Geneva.
The prediction of Pavel Globa
A well-known Russian astrologer is sure that the confrontation between the superpowers will not go beyond the Cold War. At the same time, the world is waiting for serious ones. Poverty and unemployment peaks in many countries. The United States and Europe will lose their positions on the world stage.
But Russia will improve its well-being thanks to energy resources.Subsequently, the former Soviet states will join the Russian Federation: Kazakhstan, Belarus, possibly even Ukraine. Russia’s eastern ally, China, will also grow stronger. Natural disasters await the world. However, Globa believes that it will not come to global conflicts and a third world war.
The prediction of Malakhat Nazarova
A modern prophetess from Baku also gives quite clear forecasts. In her prophecies, she speaks of 2017 as a turning point in history. According to Nazarova, in September it will become clear whether the Third World War is coming. At the end of each century, plus or minus ten years, chaos reigns on Earth. This period will end in 2017.
World War will be the inevitable outcome of the conflict between the superpowers
The start of a war depends on the situation in the political arena. If the conflicting superpowers reach a compromise, the threat can be avoided. Nazarova believes that many natural disasters will befall the world in 2017. States will throw all their forces into the fight against cataclysms, and things will not come to international clashes. The seer also believes that in 2017, China will face a conflict with Japan. However, it is unknown if it will affect other countries.
The clairvoyant does not believe that the war will end. Life on earth is eternal, says Nazarova. According to the theory of hierarchical catastrophes, the end of the world awaits us in 2017. But let us note that almost every year the followers of this or that teaching are waiting for the Apocalypse, and so far in vain. Therefore, do not rely entirely on the opinions of the seers. It is better to pay attention to the statements of politicians and experts.
Military-political forecasts
The prospect of the Third World War frightens not only ordinary people, but also those who influence the fate of the world. In 2015, American political analyst and former military man Joachim Hagopian published an article on the GlobalResearch portal. The expert draws attention to the “warning signs” that speak of the approach of war. Hagopian writes that the strongest powers – the United States and Russia – are preparing for a possible conflict. The parties enlist the support of their allies. The states are guided by the EU, Russia – by China and India.
The depletion of natural energy resources, which support the well-being of many countries, is another prerequisite for hostilities. The expert believes that America is facing bankruptcy in the near future. This will lead to war. The opponents will be the United States, NATO and Israel on the one hand, and Russia, India and China on the other. Australia will take the side of the USA. But between South and North Korea, a separate conflict will begin. Hagopian predicts that entire nations could be destroyed in the course of a war.
The United States and Russia are considered the most likely parties to the conflict
Another US officer, former NATO chief Alexander Richard Shirreff, presents his prediction in 2017: War with Russia. The work is not documentary, but behind the fictional events it is easy to discern the main idea: the rash US policy leads to a conflict with the Russian Federation. The result will be the defeat of the States.
In the story, Russia captures the Baltic states, which are members of NATO. This event marks the beginning of the war. Reduction of funds allocated for the needs of the army leads to the defeat of the United States … Western media found this version of events plausible. But the Russians themselves hardly believe in the seizure of the Baltics.Such a decision would be reckless for the Russian government, whose position is stronger than ever.
Possible outcome of the collision between the USA and Russia
But if you imagine that the events described will occur, you can estimate the strength of both sides. According to British aviation colonel and professor of international relations Ian Shields, the number of NATO military units significantly exceeds Russia’s resources. Let’s compare: the North Atlantic alliance has more than 3.5 million soldiers, Russia – 800 thousand. The number of NATO is 7.5 thousand against 2.7 thousand for the Russian Federation.
But it’s not just the amount of resources that matters in battle. Many factors can be decisive. According to Shields, the Third World War will be little like the Second. In battles, ultra-modern, including computer technology, can be used. The battles will become less protracted, but the losses will be greater than in any of the previous wars.
There is a possibility that World War III will become a war not of weapons, but of minds
Unlike many political scientists, Shields does not take the risk of atomic war seriously. The use of atomic weapons will entail global destruction that neither side wants. The expert adheres to this opinion in relation to chemical and bio-technologies. If this type of weapon is used, it will not become the main one.
Alas, this does not mean that the Third World War will not bring significant consequences. Shields believes that the conflict will encompass all areas of human life. An important role will be played by the so-called “information war”, which will unfold on the Internet, television screens and newspaper pages. In addition, the war will affect the economy, finance, politics, and so on. The expert believes that the battles will be transferred even into outer space.
Predictions of Vladimir Zhirinovsky
The threat of the Third World War is discussed not only in the United States. In April 2016, the head of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia Vladimir Zhirinovsky said that the West is preparing for a world war, which will be carried out “by the hands of the Slavs.” According to the politician, the Americans’ method is for Ukraine to fight against Russia, and the United States to receive financial benefits.
Zhirinovsky stressed that the States entered all wars at the very end, when the outcome was clear. After the end of the conflict, the United States imposed conditions on other states that were beneficial for America. According to Zhirinovsky, it will happen this time too. The states will enter the war when Russia seizes the capital of Ukraine, and will dictate to the Russian Federation which regions of the country to transfer to neighboring states. When will these events take place?
One of the likely scenarios is a clash between the Russian Federation and Ukraine
The politician is confident that war can break out from 2017 to 2025.After that, the world is waiting for a technical breakthrough comparable to a manned flight into space. Such military resources will appear in Russia that no country will dare to confront the Russian Federation. This radical scenario is consistent with the spirit of the Liberal Democratic Party. But Zhirinovsky’s statements rarely come true.
Our editors often receive questions about whether there will be a Third World War. We answer – let it be! Nobody knows when World War 3 will start, even Obama and Putin cannot have such information. The whole reason is the fact that any large-scale plans require adjustments in the process of their implementation, because even psychics are not able to foresee all countermeasures of the enemy.
One can doubt whether the Third World War will take place this year, but the prospect of it starting in the next 2-3 years is very likely, given the local military conflict that erupted in Ukraine.
About when the Third World War will begin, many are looking for answers in Wanga’s predictions, but her prophecies did not give specific answers, she also spoke vaguely about this large-scale confrontation in which billions of people would suffer.Such large casualties are due to the use of nuclear weapons, the reserves of which on the planet are capable of destroying all living things and plunging the world into an ecological catastrophe.
Whether there will be a Third World War with the use of nuclear weapons is also a difficult question, but their use will lead to contamination of fresh water and lands with radiation, which will lead to hunger and the extinction of those who survive.
In addition to Vanga, Nostradamus was also rich in predictions about a world military conflict, who predicted its beginning in the 21st century in which we now live. The world’s leading states are increasing their military budgets in anticipation of military clashes. Russia began to check the combat readiness of its strategic forces with enviable regularity. The flights of long-range bombers capable of reaching the United States and dropping nuclear weapons on the heads of the Americans resumed. In response, the United States and NATO forces began demonstrative exercises in the Baltics, hundreds of meters from the border with Russia, as if showing that they are already close and ready to strike at the moment when World War III begins to catch the enemy by surprise.
China’s policy is also noteworthy, this state with the largest infantry decided in early 2015 to increase its defense budget by 10%, as well as go into cyber confrontation with the United States. It is obvious that the PRC is thinking about whether there will be a World War 3 and how to secure themselves in advance.
If I were you, I would ask a different question, how to prevent a nuclear war from starting. Today it is interesting and exciting to contemplate all this from the outside, but imagine that tomorrow a military conflict will reach your city, an artillery bombardment will occur, one of your friends will die, and you will be forced to flee. When you flee from your hometown, where you were born and raised, where you have many friends and acquaintances, in the city in which you have a job that brings you a stable income, but now you understand that everything is lost and there is no turning back. The house is destroyed, savings have depreciated, you took the least of things, you are almost a bum.
There is an esoteric theory that certain events on the planet form the collective mind! That is why the media have become a serious weapon in the hands of propagandists who seek to implement their plans on a global scale. So instead of asking when the Third World War will start, think about how to prevent it from starting. How to prevent a nuclear conflict that can radically change the lives of millions of people.
You and I, reader, are only pawns on a large map of geopolitical battles, but this does not mean at all that we have no influence. Moreover, when pawns are gathered together, they have greater power than the power of the state, only because the people are the source of power.
I sincerely hope that this material will be read by a Russian-speaking American and will be able to translate it into English in order to convey to his compatriots that the future of the entire planet is in their hands. The United States plans to unleash World War III to avoid the collapse of the dollar, write off all debts, become a world leader and introduce a new world order.
The recently forgotten threat of a third world war is again a topic of general discussion. A week ago, US and Russian military vehicles nearly collided in Syria.NATO is building up its military capabilities on the border with our country and is not going to abandon hostile rhetoric.
What are the scenarios for a possible military conflict? It is necessary to think about this in order to prevent the not entirely adequate actions of our “Western partners”, who have long since turned back into “probable adversaries.”
Military analyst Valentin Vasilescu from Romania, a country at the forefront of NATO’s anti-Russian front, is trying to answer this question on the basis of tactics characteristic of recent US military operations and the characteristics of the weapons used.On the pages of the English-language analytical center “Katehon”, he argues that the aggression of the United States and its allies against Russia is not at all an excluded scenario.
The United States is obliged to stop Russia at any cost, which by its actions in Syria, and before that in Crimea and Ukraine, is changing the American-centric status quo. In order to maintain hegemony, the Americans are heading for a big war.
Main direction of impact
According to Vasilescu, the main direction where the US strike can be expected is the west. “The United States is not planning a landing in the Russian Far East, instead, like Napoleon and Hitler, the United States will seek to occupy the strategically important capital of the country – Moscow”
, – he sums up.
According to him, the goal of Euromaidan was initially to create a convenient base for aggression against Russia. Lugansk, the analyst notes, is located just 600 kilometers from Moscow. However, the plan of American aggression was preventively thwarted after the reunification of Russia with the Crimea and the creation of the people’s republics in the east of Ukraine.
After that, the plan of American aggression was revised, and the Baltic direction was chosen as a new zone of aggression. From the Latvian border to Moscow – all the same 600 kilometers, and to St. Petersburg and even closer.
To prevent the local population from being outraged by the fact that their countries will soon be turned into a springboard for aggression, the American and local media and generals spoke in unison that the Baltic and Northern European countries are in danger of attack from Russia. In Norway, they even launched a series about the future Russian occupation.
In addition, the US has stepped up pressure on Sweden and Finland. They are not yet joining NATO, but US troops have already deployed. Moreover, in May 2016, the northern quintet – a meeting of the foreign ministers of Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway and Iceland – announced the urgent need to neutralize the Russian threat. As a way out, they proposed defense cooperation between the Swedish-Finnish neutrals and NATO.
According to Valentin Vasilescu, the main task of NATO is to inflict a quick defeat on Russia, which will force the country’s political system to collapse.Pro-American agents of influence have been overthrown, Vladimir Putin, and the war can be considered won. Therefore, the United States will act according to Hitler’s logic, betting on blitzkrieg tactics. If Russia is defeated, NATO will occupy territories up to the line of St. Petersburg – Veliky Novgorod – Kaluga – Tver and Volgograd.
At the same time, as the expert notes, due to the rapid modernization of the Chinese army, which will pose a serious threat to the United States in the Pacific theater of operations, the Pentagon will not be able to throw all the necessary forces and means against Russia. At least a third of all US armed forces will have to concentrate in the Pacific region, awaiting a possible strike from the now allied China of Russia.
Probable strike time
According to a military analyst, the US has a chance of success only if it invades before 2018. After 2018, the chances of success will significantly decrease, since after the rearmament of the Russian army is completed, the Pentagon will lose its technological advantage in conventional weapons. And in order to win the war, you will have to resort to nuclear weapons – and this is a step towards mutual nuclear destruction.
War in the air – colossal losses
The main targets of the first wave of air raids will be Russian airfields and air defense systems. Russia is armed with high-quality fighters and mobile anti-aircraft systems capable of detecting and destroying even a fifth-generation American aircraft.
Therefore, even with the support of NATO allies, the US military will not be able to achieve air superiority. With great effort, they can achieve temporary air superiority in some areas on the Russian border with a depth of 300 kilometers. In order to secure flights in areas where Russian air defense systems are actively operating, the Americans will be forced to throw at least 220 aircraft into the first wave of attack (including 15 B-2 bombers, 160 – F-22A and 45 – F-35). The B-2 can carry 16 GBU-31 laser-guided bombs (900 kg), 36 GBU-87 cluster bombs (430 kg) or 80 GBU-38 bombs (200 kg). The F-22A aircraft can carry 2 JDAM bombs (450 kg) or 8 bombs of 110 kg each.
A serious obstacle for the Americans will be the fact that the AGM-88E missiles, designed to combat air defense systems with a range of 160 kilometers, are too large to be loaded inside the F-22A and F-35s (4.1 m long and 1 m high).
If they are mounted on pylons, the vaunted “invisibility” of these aircraft will suffer. Previously, this problem did not arise, since in the past 20 years the United States has fought wars exclusively against opponents with outdated air defense systems.
To complicate the task of Russian air defense systems, the United States will fire more than 500-800 cruise missiles from ships and submarines in the Baltic Sea. Russian aircraft, primarily MiG-31 fighters, and air defense systems will be able to neutralize most of these missiles, the expert is sure, but this is not all that the Americans can use.
At the same time, the F-18, F-15E, B-52 and B-1B planes, being at a safe distance from the Russian border and not entering the S-400 range, will strike with AGM-154 mini-cruise missiles or AGM-158, the range of which is up to 1000 kilometers.
They can strike ships of the Russian Baltic Fleet and missile batteries of the Iskander and Tochka complexes. If successful, the Americans will be able to neutralize 30 percent of the Russian radar network, 30 percent of the S-300 and S-400 battalions deployed between Moscow and the Baltic countries, and 40 percent of the components of the automated reconnaissance, control, communications and target designation system, in addition, airfields will be damaged. the departure of more than 200 aircraft and helicopters will be blocked.
However, the expected losses of the Americans and their allies will amount to 60-70 percent of the aircraft and cruise missiles that will enter Russian airspace during the first wave of air raids and strikes.
But what will be the biggest obstacle to NATO’s air supremacy? According to the expert, these are effective means of electronic warfare.
We are talking about the Krasukha-4 complexes of the SIGINT and COMINT types. These systems can effectively wage electronic warfare against US tracking satellites Lacrosse and Onyx, ground and airborne radars (AWACS), including those deployed on RC-135 reconnaissance aircraft and Northrop Grumman RQ-4 Global Hawk drones.
According to the expert, the electronic warfare systems in service with the Russian troops can effectively jam American bombs and missiles with laser, infrared and GPS guidance.
Russia can also create two zones on the border with the Baltic countries in the regions of St. Petersburg and Kaliningrad, impenetrable for enemy aircraft, combining air defense systems (S-400, Tor-M2 and Pantsir-2M) and electronic warfare.
Currently, 8 S-400 battalions are protecting the skies around the Russian capital, one is in Syria. In total, the Russian armed forces have 20-25 S-400 battalions. Some of them can be deployed to the western border along with 130 S-300 battalions, which can be upgraded and equipped with a 96L6E radar that effectively detects NATO stealths.
An even more advanced air defense system, the S-500, is currently being tested, which will presumably go into service in 2017.
The author is sure that due to Russia’s advantage in electronic warfare means, NATO will not be able to achieve an advantage in electronic warfare. As a result, in the first wave of attacks against Russia, NATO troops will strike decoys in 60-70 percent of cases.
Due to high losses in the first wave of airstrikes and the inability to achieve air superiority, NATO Air Force will suffer high losses. The American group of 5,000 planes will be joined by their allies. But they will not be able to provide more than 1,500 aircraft.
War at sea
At sea, the Pentagon can deploy up to 8 aircraft carriers, 8 helicopter carriers, several dozen landing craft, missile carriers, destroyers and submarines. These forces can be joined by two Italian aircraft carriers and one aircraft carrier each from Spain and France.
Russian anti-ship defense means Kh-101 and NK Kalibr cruise missiles move at subsonic speed and can be neutralized at the initial stage of approach. It will be more difficult for NATO to cope with the P-800 Onyx and P-500 Basalt missiles.
And finally, in 2018, the Russian fleet will enter service with the “aircraft carrier killer” – the 3M22 “Zircon” missile, capable of traveling at hypersonic speed at low altitudes. “The USA cannot oppose this means”
, – the expert concludes.
Superiority in armored vehicles
At present, the samples of armored vehicles in service with the Russian army – T-90 and T-80 tanks and modernized versions of T-72 tanks, Vasilescu notes, correspond to NATO counterparts. According to the expert, only the BMP-2 and BMP-3 are inferior to the American M-2 Bradley.
However, the new Tank T-14 “Armata” has no analogues in the world. In all respects, it surpasses the German Leopard 2, the American M1A2 Abrams, the French AMX 56 Leclerc, and the British Challenger 2. The same can be said of the T-15 and Kurganets-25 BMPs and the new VPK-7829 Boomerang amphibious armored personnel carrier. After 2018, Russia will have the most modern armored vehicles, which will radically change the balance of power on the battlefield.
During the Gulf War and the 2003 invasion of Iraq, the United States used mobile teams of tanks, vehicles, armored personnel carriers and infantry fighting vehicles to hack into enemy defenses. The actions of these groups in Russia will need to be supported by massive airborne operations.
And here an unpleasant surprise awaits them. If against the Russian air defense systems “Pantsir” and “Tunguska”, as well as against MANPADS “Igla” and “Strela”, American combat helicopters and aircraft can use the AN / ALQ-144/147/157 electronic warfare system, then against MANPADS 9K333 “Verba”, which entered service with the Russian troops in 2016, this equipment is powerless.
The Verba homing sensors are capable of operating simultaneously at three frequencies in the visible and infrared spectra.”Verba” can work in conjunction with the “Barnaul-T” system, which is responsible for electronic reconnaissance, electronic warfare and automatic control of amphibious forces. “Barnaul-T” neutralizes the radar of enemy aircraft and interferes with the operation of laser guidance systems for missiles and bombs of the enemy.
TOTAL
As can be seen from the above analysis, even now a war with the use of conventional weapons can cost our Western adversaries dearly.
