Face-Offs are a HUGE part of Lacrosse. You can’t score goals if you don’t have the ball. We always see players trying to find out what heads can withstand the grueling face-off duel. Even though you can use any head you want, besides a goalie head of course, there are some heads that are better suited for the face-off. There are even heads that are designed specifically to withstand all of that abuse.
For a face-off specialist, it can be hard to find what head best fits your play style and will be able to last for a long period of time so you won’t have to keep buying replacements. Well, us here at Universal Lacrosse think that we just might have found the lacrosse head that can do just that.
The Tribe7 Ghost7 is a head specifically designed with the offensive player in mind. Coming in at only 94.7 grams, the Ghost7 is the lightest head available today. Being both NCAA and High School legal, this head is great for any player.
The reason the Ghost7 is great for face-off is that it doesn’t loose its shape. This head can warp around the ball and literally suck it in giving you not only the advantage but the face-off win as well. I’ve seen players twist and turn this thing over on top of itself and then have it instantly pop back into near perfect shape!
The Ghost7 has been dominating the college face-off game for the past couple seasons and some of the top face-off specialists have used it to their advantage.
Brendan Fowler is Domination
Players like Brendan Fowler (@brabbit_3, Duke University, Charlotte Hounds) and Stephen Kelly (UNC) nearly always control the X. Fowler jumped into the spotlight during last years NCAA National Championship where he absolutely DESTROYED the opposition helping Duke claim not only victory but the Championship title as well. And what did these two beasts have in common? THEY BOTH ROCKED THE TRIBE7 GHOST7.
Clean Face-Off Wins = Fast Breaks!
This head really is great for any offensive player, but it truly shines at the face-off and at such a low price why wouldn’t you give it a shot?!
Available in black and white at universallacrosse.com for only $45. Will you make the Tribe7 Ghost7 your next face-off weapon?

Ghost 7 Lacrosse Head Review
Ghost 7 Lacrosse Head Review – A Big part of Lacrosse is Face-Offs. If you don’t have the ball, you can’t score goals. We also see players trying to figure out which heads the difficult face-off duel should stand.
While you can use any head you want, there are face-to-face heads that are best for the face-off, aside from a goalie head, of course.
Also, heads are explicitly built to withstand all this violence.
It can be hard for a face-off expert to decide what suits your play style best, so you can last a long time so that your replacements do not need to continue to be bought.
Ok, here at Universal Lacrosse we assume we could have just found the head of the lacrosse.

Ghost 7 Lacrosse Head Review
The Ghost7 head is designed specifically for the offensive player.
The Ghost7 is the lightest available head today, with just 94.7 grams. This head is perfect for any player, both NCAA and High School legal.
The Ghost7 is perfect for face-to-face because it does not lose its shape.
This head can stick about the ball and suck it literally to provide not only the benefit but also the face-off win.
I saw players transform and turn this thing upside down and bring it back into almost complete shape instantly.
The Ghost7 has dominated the college face-off for the last few seasons and it was taken to its benefit by some of the top face-off specialists.
It’s definitely not only the world’s lightest lacrosse head but also the most versatile lacrosse head ever.
And, in fact, it is one of the best heads in lacrosse ever. If you are a face-off middie, you can also give Ghost 7 lacrosse head a crack.
Combine the lacrosse head of the Ghost 7 and the Tri Kor Sub 5 shaft with the lightest ball in the world.
Here is the following list of functions :
- Weighs just 3.6 ounces and is nuts.
- Tons of string options (particularly for medium to large pockets)
- Zebra dye, who apparently dislikes goalies because they can’t see it!
- Will fight the New York City bus’ strength
It’s not only the lightest lacrosse head in the world, but it ‘s certainly also the most versatile lacrosse head ever.
And it’s probably one of the best lacrosse heads ever. You can also give Ghost 7 lacrosse head a crack if you are a face-off middie.
Combine the Ghost 7’s lacrosse head with the Tri Kor Sub 5 shaft and the world’s lightest puck.
Conclusion
The Ghost 7 head is the most versatile, modern and yet straightforward head for Tribe7.
This has many of the facial features previously provided by Tribe7 hands, but also a more flexible stick that any player can use.
This stick is a great choice for a beginner or an advanced player. It’s well worth a look, especially for secondary school players or above, if you face off.
The short throat is somewhat inconvenient, but this head is a lot and a very strong product for the price. Well done on this new head to Tribe7.
This is a guard. It is a guardian.
That’s it for Ghost 7 Lacrosse Head Review.
The goalkeeper played the legendary “Memory” on the piano right before the match.

Intelligent music helps Daniil Bryzgalov cope with stress.
Sports.ru Editors: You are reading the League of the Strong, the official blog of the Youth Hockey League. Support him with pluses, subscriptions and comments so that interesting posts about bright events in the MHL and very young KHL talents appear more often on the Tribune and in your feed.
Perhaps the most unexpected show before the KHL match: a few minutes before the face-off in the game “Amur” – “Vityaz”, the goalkeeper of the “Amur Tigers” Daniil Bryzgalov played the legendary composition on the piano – right in the center circle. The hockey player is 19 years old and he has not yet been involved in work with the main team, but he went out on the ice in a jersey, and there was a goalkeeper’s ammunition nearby.

The melody played by Bryzgalov is “Memory”, the title theme from the musical “Cats” – one of the most popular in history. It was written by the famous composer Andrew Lloyd Webber for the production of 1981 years old (he is also the author of some works in the musicals “Jesus Christ Superstar”, “Phantom of the Opera”).
In a recent interview with the Amur press service, the goalkeeper said that this melody is his crown, and he himself is a music lover: “I can play the piano, the song from the musical Cats is the best. Now I am learning to play the guitar, I can already play the verse of “Samsara” from Basta. I am a music lover, I love music of different genres. The musical “The Sound of Music” has been deposited in my memory, I like ballet. I will especially single out the production of The Nutcracker.

Although Bryzgalov’s passion for playing the piano has been known since the 2021/22 season, when he played for the Captain:
– Usually young guys play hip-hop and something dance in the locker room. Are you having a hard time?
– Sometimes. It happens, please switch. I like intellectual music, but I play the piano. First I studied with a tutor, and then online. Now I can play. I only know three songs so far. The piano is soothing and helps to cope with stress.
Daniil is noticeably different in his hobbies from many players: “I like to read, study musical instruments and go to the theatre. I would recommend two books: The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho and Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach. Both books show how the main characters go after their dreams, meeting different difficulties and overcoming them.
19-year-old Daniil Bryzgalov spends his second season in the MHL – he is the main goalkeeper of the Amur youth team: in 12 matches of the 2022/23 season he saved 92. 3% shots at KN 2.52. A couple of days before entering the ice as a pianist, he was remembered for a cool save in the splits.
Daniil himself is a Muscovite, in juniors he played for the Odintsovo Armada. Then he spent two years overseas, playing in American juniors, and before the 2021/22 season he returned to Russia and ended up in the Stupino “Captain” – the youth team of HC “Sochi”. At the end of last season, he trained with the main team and even played for them at the Sochi Winter Сup.
In the summer, Amur traded Bryzgalov from Sochi, and the player moved to Khabarovsk. Even before the season, he admitted how he was getting to know a new city: “The city is very pretty, on the very first day I walked through the center and the embankment. Impressions were wonderful. Was in a restaurant with jazz music. I listened to a cool online concert of Louis Armstrong in it. I am going to visit theaters and museums in my free time. Local guys have already advised me good places to visit.”
Perhaps the goalkeeper planned to make his debut in the KHL this season, but he hardly expected it to happen this way.
Two Sides of the Moon read online by Jacqueline Mitchard (Page 7)
Mallory did everything in her power not to fall into a whining tantrum, as she had already done this morning, but sarcasm came with great difficulty. For a moment, Mally regretted the time when a fishing line had been stretched between her and Drew’s houses and they had exchanged notes, dragging them in a basket from the bedroom window to the other window.
They were children then. And being a little girl was what Mally wanted so badly right now.
It would be a mistake to be honest with Drew. The guy has known her since childhood, but Mallory had the impression that lately her friend had treated her like a girl. Mally didn’t want to reinforce Drew in his opinion.
Maybe she wants to…
No, Drew is like a brother to her!
Still, the guy is so cool…
Everything in turned upside down!
For the rest of the day, Mallory wandered from class to class like a somnambulist. It would be better if she took the thermometer that Mrs. Avis put in her mouth to the electric stove and held it for a couple of seconds. Then she would have been sent home with a “temperature”.
At least she didn’t hide her head in the sand and tried to figure out her dream during the lessons. Such was Mallory’s character.
The girl suspected that the white thing that David saw while chasing Merry was a giant white cat… a cougar… a mountain lion… a cougar… People called and still call the same animal by all these names. Meredith had only seen a whitish figure then. The figure that frightened David was not the half-transparent, kind-faced, grey-haired old woman who leaned over her sister when Merry fell and hurt herself. Gwennie’s grandmother claimed that the short old lady was the ghost of a woman from the Messenger family, Gwenny’s kind mother, their great-grandmother. Fulfilling the last will of the deceased, she was buried not in the city cemetery, but high in the hills, where the woman liked to walk after a long day of work, during which she cleaned other people’s houses. Once a month, sometimes with the twins, Gwennie would come and tend to two white rose bushes, which she planted on the sides of the modest brass plaque marking her mother’s burial place. It was only recently that Gwenny confessed to her granddaughters that one of the bushes symbolizes Vera, the late twin sister of Gwenny herself, who drowned as a child. Grandmother regretted that she could not move the small wooden coffin with Vera’s body to the hills near the family “camp”. There would be a sister lying in the ground next to her mother. Gwenny was a Catholic, not a fanatic like some of her brothers and sisters, but still a believer, so she believed that love could sanctify any land.
What if Merry, not David, saw a cougar and not a woman? What was it? Also a ghost? Another crazy vision? Pumas were completely exterminated in the east of the country. If any of them made their way here from Canada, they had to travel a long way. Can cougars hate humans? Maybe that’s why she was looking at the guy Eden was in love with with such hungry eyes? What if this animal escaped from the zoo? White color in zoos is common.
During her homework time, Mallory went to the library and typed on the computer: “Cats in Mythology.”
Bast, the cat-headed goddess, was one of the most important in the ancient Egyptian pantheon. In many ancient religions, cats were considered the spiritual guides of people, wise, but unable to reveal their wisdom to people due to the fact that they do not have human speech. Does the cougar have anything to do with these beliefs? Why did she see the animal now that David was dead? Why did the cougar appear at the school, where the entrance is closed to a real animal? Is the cougar hunting Eden’s boyfriend? Or maybe she’s hunting Eden herself?
Mally was now ashamed of having run away from her friend.
How can her visions contradict what she feels?
David was incredibly handsome, but at heart he turned out to be a real monster. But long before her visions, Mallory felt a certain antipathy towards this guy. Eden doesn’t look like David at all. Mellie’s heart told her that her older friend was a good person, attentive to others.
Grandmother said that the gift was sent to them from above, that granddaughters should use it exclusively for good, that the reason for the appearance of this gift is known only to the saints. They should resign themselves to their fate. Grandmother Gwennie said that the gift was hereditary among the women of the Messenger family, like a gene that determines hair color.
Or like sickness, Mally thought.
The bell rang and Mallory looked up to where the sky was… the starry blanket…
The girl only now realized that her lips were moving involuntarily. One could only hope that outsiders, seeing her doing this, would decide that she was talking into a miniature mobile phone. In fact, Mallory was addressing the Giver:
– If this is what Grandma told us, if you want us to fight for the truth, then please explain the rules to us.
And then she heard a scream.
Injury
Crystal Fish screamed in pain all the way as she was carried on a stretcher to the ambulance. Ligaments were torn. She had months of physical therapy ahead of her, even after a successful operation. Her hope to get into the national team was short-lived.
The performances have been postponed until the second week of November. Mallory was terribly sorry for Crystal. Instead of a half-hour warm-up from all over, falling with legs spread apart to the floor must be very painful.
“Someone put tape on the soles of her tennis shoes,” Merry told her sister after the ambulance had left.
They sat in the cafeteria and waited for Drew to finish his cross country [Cross country is one of the sports in mountain biking, cross-country racing with descents, long climbs, speed and technical sections. ].
— Why? Mallory asked.
“This is such a trick,” the sister began to explain. – Scotch tape is used to make it easier to slide. It is forbidden to do this, because because of the adhesive tape, the athlete cannot always control his own movements. Even if a person knows that he has adhesive tape stuck on his soles, it’s easy to fall, and if you don’t know …
— Maybe she put it on herself? Mally suggested, opening her math textbook.
– I don’t believe it. Krystal can’t stand all these tricks. In any case, she knows how to sit on the twine even without adhesive tape. When Krystal warms up, she succeeds in beautiful stretches.
“Well,” Mallory said, lowering her voice even though there was no one else in the common room next to them, “I saw her tennis shoes. It has to do with… Do you understand? She clenched her hands like cat paws.
– How can you be sure that the cougar threw Cristal’s shoes off the bench? Merry asked softly. – It could be my shoes or someone else’s . ..
– You would not be able to see what concerns you.
– I am not you.
— I know, but… I heard you call me when you were with David on the ridge…
— Yes, I called you, but that’s not it… — said Merry, chewing on the tip of her pencil. – It seems so to me.
– Okay. At least no one broke their own heads,” Mallory said.
One less thing to worry about. On that day and in the following days, they no longer spoke on this subject.
Mally decided to fill the time between visions received from space with self-care. The next day, she went to practice for the first time in a week.
Never before has she been so good at going from defense to attack. Mallory reminded herself of the best linebackers she knew. The only thing that haunted her was the aching feeling caused by the quarrel with Eden. Before that, Mallie had no idea how much she appreciated her friendship with Eden and the time spent with her. Elegant, flexible and strong, she played on the field like a professional player. She was the queen of protection. The girl took the balls on her chest and knees with such ease, as if they were not wearing protective knee pads, but real armor. Except Eden looked through Mallory as if she were made of glass. It broke the girl’s heart.
In the meantime, in Cristal’s absence, Merry managed the training for the rest of the week. She was driven by a passionate desire to prove to herself that she was an athlete no worse than this crazy little sister.
– Okay. Strengthen the inner thigh muscles,” she said. – Hands on the floor. Legs – to the sides … wider … Do not tremble. Up… down… up… down… up… I’ll count… One… Two…
— Can you count slower? Ellie shouted. “Ten seconds have passed, and we have already sat down three times.
“We will squat twenty times,” said Merry in an impassive voice.
— Remember when we were little, my brother nearly knocked your teeth out with a lacrosse stick? [Lacrosse is a team game in which two teams try to hit the opponent’s goal with a rubber ball using their feet and stick.
