New England is home to 3d Lacrosse’s largest customer base and most active camp and clinic circuit. New England was the second market launched after Colorado making it one of the founding regions of 3d Lacrosse programming. 3d Lacrosse’s game-changing methodology, which incorporates the Box-Field Hybrid Development System, evolved to new heights with athletes in the Greater Boston area. It is home to some of 3d Lacrosse’s most impactful programs such as 3d Prep Bound Showcase, STX Rising College Prep Camp, and Mayflower Invitational tournament and showcase. This region serves eastern Massachusetts all the way up through Vermont, New Hampshire and everything in between.
3d New England is led by Director Matt Rowley, an esteemed coach at the Nobles & Greenough School in Dedham, MA. In 2018, Matt led Nobles to an ISL co-title – the program’s first title in 12 years. Matt became involved with 3d Lacrosse in spring of 2011 as a manager, coach and national evaluator for the 3d Blue Chip series. He was the 2017 recipient of the 3d Lacrosse Methodology Olympics MVP award given to the coach with the best coaching presence, command, and communication at the annual 3d Methodology olympics. Prior to 3d Lacrosse and Nobles & Greenough, Matt coached at both Milton High School and Brewster Academy. As a player, Matt captained the 2000-2002 University of Massachusetts – Boston men’s lacrosse teams and led the squad to the prestigious ECAC tournament.
The 3d New England office is supported by an all-star staff including Senior Manager Peter Sessa, Senior Manager Scott Singer, Manager Dan Collura, Manager Brian Martin, Girls Manager Paige Rogers, and Coordinator Sarah Lavalle.
New England owns the largest portfolio and variety of 3d Lacrosse programming offered by one market. Serving the greater Boston area, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island, 3d New England has 16 Select travel teams and two LC (local club) teams in the Summer and Fall. In addition to Select, local lacrosse offerings include: Little Laxers, Small Group Training, Position-Specific Training, Local Tournaments, Overnight Camps, Day Camps, Individual Showcases, Box Lacrosse Training and Leagues, Coaching Workshops, and Youth Program Operations and Workshops.
As with all 3d properties, the goal of 3d New England and its local programming is to create the best opportunities and conditions for players to dramatically improve their skills and foster a love of the game.

Group Training
There is no off season when it comes to training. Small Group Training may most fit the true essence of training in the “Box-Field Hybrid™ Development System”. The tactics and skills required in the Development System are instilled and continually honed through the environment of SGT. We offer varied sessions of intense lacrosse specific training. The sessions have been meticulously pieced together by our group of master coaches who have methodology on the mind 24/7/365. The practice plans in Small Group Training allow your player a high intensity workout with maximum repetition and creative drills that will help keep training fresh and challenging.
Small Group Training is capped at a low number of participants to ensure personal attention and development. 3d’s one position/no position philosophy allows players from any position to participate in our drills. From distance shot technique to stick work in tight on the crease, SGT will cover all of you in and out of season.

3d Lacrosse Director of Marketing Brooke Farrell and his team led the redesign of 3d Lacrosse’s regional logos after a great deal of feedback collected from coaches, players, parents and 3d Lacrosse partners.
Over the course of six years, 3d Marketing has been responsible for directing the creation of logos and branding for a long list of programming and events, including regional 3d Select logos and events logos like the Denver Shootout and the FLG in 3d Summer and Fall Shootout tournaments.
“We always spent time trying to understand the intent of each individual product and the personality behind the product to help create a unique look and feel to match,” Farrell said. “The goal was always to be able to speak to what separated one certain program from another in the marketplace. I can’t say we didn’t succeed. Our logos all stood on their own just fine, but as a family they had some differences that created some challenges in some applications.”
Last year, leaning on a massive amount of customer feedback and analytics, 3d Marketing began to integrate a more customer-centric approach to branding.
“We really wanted to dial in on our customers’ understanding. In response, we’ve hit the reset on all our regional logos with the main goal of creating an integrated branding experience that aligns to the same consistent integrated training experience our customers get across our programming. As many who participate in a sports setting understand, a team is way more powerful than the sum of its parts and that could not be any truer in our case.”
Over the coming months, 3d Lacrosse will be rolling out a new family of logos for the majority of its products. The first wave will feature a new look to each of the 3d Lacrosse regional markets from coast to coast most commonly associated with 3d Select teams and programming.
The 3d Marketing team was clear in what it wanted to accomplish with the redesign of the logos at the market level:
- Standardize the look and feel across all markets
- Assure 3d Lacrosse has consistent placement in all market logos
- Prominently feature the market icon by preserving the classic market icon or, in some cases, creating a new icon if the current art was outdated

Seventh graders travel around the state working on hands-on projects focused on conservation, learning about the homeless, caring for the elderly, food sustainability, and volunteering.
Eighth graders spend a week in New York partnering with a nonprofit Youth Services Project (YSOP) to help some of the city’s most needy:

- Kindergartens for children whose mothers are in custody.
Ninth graders visit the Dominican Republic, the city of Monte Cristi, where they work with a non-profit organization and teach English to local schoolchildren.

A holiday camp is an organized holiday away from home, usually for children and adolescents.Many of them take place during the summer holidays and are called summer camps.
Understand that
holiday camps are often located in areas that are also tourist destinations: woodland or mountainous areas are popular holiday destinations. This means that you may have to travel a long distance to reach it.

Global World Scout Jamborees are organized every four years, with about ten thousand international participants and about the same from the region in which they are located. Summer Camp
Summer or Sleep Camp is a supervised program for children or adolescents held during the summer months in some countries.Children and teenagers who attend summer camp are known as tourists. United Kingdom
Summer camps are not as central to childhood in the United Kingdom as they are in North America. Summer school leave in the UK is shorter – typically 6 weeks for public school students. During this period, children are more likely to go on a long (at least 2 weeks) vacation with the whole family, rather than to a children’s camp (parents from the UK get longer leave at their place of work than parents from the United States, which contributes to long family summer vacations).The industrial body is called the British Activity Holiday Association. Camps in the UK also tend to be less specialized than in the United States, and most offer a fairly broad multi-disciplinary adventure program along with some fun social elements. This is in part because summer camps in the UK have grown as an offshoot of the outdoor industry and therefore have been influenced by their outdoor adventure program.In the UK, several organizations have sprung up over the past few decades that have established themselves more in the traditional fashion with a very wide range of recreational options, as well as theme camps and major event days. Certain religious groups, such as the Christadelphians, are also widely reported and attend camps throughout the country. A number of youth organizations, such as the Scout Association, the Army Cadet Forces, and the Air Training Corps, often run more specialized summer camps for their members, although these are usually not open to non-members.
From the mid-1960s to the mid-1980s, the School Party Council organized summer camps called Colonies. The colonies were not based on street activities or the “adventure” model, but were multi-day celebrations for a very wide range of children. This organization was based on the French model and was unique in the UK in that young volunteers working directly with children (known as “observers”) were prepared for their work through training courses developed and delivered by the organization.After the Colony Holidays ended in the 1980s, Chris Green, one of their former employees, created ATE Superweeks to provide similar holidays. The American Camp Association (ACA) reports that there are about 7,000 overnight camps and about 5,000 day camps in the United States, for a total of over 12,000 camps.More than 11 million children and adults visit these camps every year. Of the 12,000 camps, about 9,500 are run by non-profit groups and 2,500 by commercial operators employing more than 1,500,000 adults. Sports camps abound, offering individual and group lessons in a variety of sports and activities, often in preparation for student sports and scholarships.
