Brief personal history: Marsden was what you would call a bad seed. The child of a father who took out his anger at the world on his family and a mother who could not stand up to her husband or son, it’s no surprise that Michael grew up angry. His father died in a bar fight when he was 10 and by the time he was 14 he had been in and out of IDJJ (Illinois Department of Juvenile Justice) several times. At his last court appearance he was given two options, adult prison or the Marines. He chose the latter.
Shortly after boot camp, Marsden found that this was the perfect outlet for his “restless” lifestyle. His superiors were impressed with the success of a recon mission in Japan and for the first time in his life, Michael was on the fast track to something that wasn’t prison.
In 2006, he was deployed to the conflict on the Horn of Africa. This extension of Operation Enduring Freedom was titled OEF-HOA. Unlike other operations contained in Operation Enduring Freedom, OEF-HOA was not initiated with a specifically designated target in mind. OEF-HOA instead focused its efforts on detection/disruption of various emerging militant groups in the region, partnerships with willing governments/factions to deter the reemergence of said militant cells and the extraction of any abandoned or captured personnel. The almost nonstop extractions for Marsden and his team had him hopping across most of North Africa and the Middle East. Before his last mission he met with a nonattached General who was recruiting talent for what would become Monsterwatch. He felt this would become a chance to escape his past and become someome highly regarded.
The official report read that Marine Sgt. Michael Morris Marsden, 29, of Chicago Illinois died on August 16, 2006 at Franklin Memorial Medical Center, Shelby City, Tennessee, from shrapnel wounds received while conducting combat operations in Al Anbar province, Iraq, on March 15. He had been assigned to 9th Support Battalion, 3rd Marine Recon Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force, Okinawa, Japan.
In truth, Michael was transformed into a torrent of destruction and revenge with little memory and one mission: to hunt down and destroy the man who took everything from him.

A Torrent of Water and Concrete Imperil Chennai’s IT Boom
Dealing With Disaster
The triple whammy of flood, cyclone, and drought revealed how vulnerable the IT corridor is to disruption. Companies are now busy writing contingency plans for environmental disasters. “Ecology is a serious economic factor in people’s minds,” said Preetam Mehra of CBRE.
Just how serious is a matter of dispute among IT office executives and city authorities. Many executives assert that Chennai’s business climate is stable and the city’s ecological torment is consistent with conditions in other competitor metro areas. They also said in interviews that the extreme weather events of the last two years are aberrations.
“As of now, it’s not a big issue,” said Narasimha NK of Ajuba Net. “Despite all the problems, Chennai, especially the IT corridor, is a better place to do business than other locations. We believe the risk of a flood sort of situation repeating again is not very high and hope the worst is behind us.”
“The lack of infrastructure is a relative factor,” said Aubrey Daniels of the American Chamber of Commerce in India. “The fact is that Chennai is a cheaper city to work compared to other cities. It also has a large, well-educated talent pool available, which is not the case elsewhere. I doubt there’s a serious risk of losing business. The ability to bounce back from catastrophe is high here. In case of disasters, if there is no power, companies are happy to run generators because they know that the city authorities will step up and restore electricity as soon as they can.”
Other authorities insist that the risk of serious environmental disruption is grave and likely to grow worse without evasive action. “It is a big risk already,” said Arun Krishnamoorthy. “Many IT firms get damaged massively every time there’s an extreme weather event. More importantly, they lose working days, which means a tremendous loss of business for them.”
“A lot of companies are looking at their business continuity plans in a big way,” said Mehra, including relocating. During the floods many companies arranged for their employees to travel to Bengaluru and Hyderabad where they were accommodated for a few weeks before returning back to Chennai.
“This is definitely a cause for concern,” said Krishnamoorthy. “The fact that Chennai’s natural environment is taking such a hit, not only because of extreme weather but also because of rampant development, will definitely affect business in the long run. The city, which has a reputation of being great for business, will lose its sheen if things continue as is.”

Torrent Of Soap Issues From Wildly Unexpected Part Of Dispenser
LIMA, OH—A wall-mounted soap dispenser in the men’s bathroom of Rigali’s Pizza Village reportedly startled local resident Sam Milsom on Monday night, discharging a copious jet of soap from an entirely unexpected location.
Milsom confirmed that when he attempted to operate the dispenser, a torrent of foamy white hand cleanser discharged from a site drastically higher on the device than any normal person could have reasonably foreseen, defying his expectations and causing him to recoil in surprise.

According to Milsom, while preparing to sanitize his hands, he looked directly at the black Enco model 328-6002 soap-dispensing unit affixed to the right of the restroom’s sink, noting nothing that appeared unusual or amiss to him about the device or its manner of function.

Still unaware of what was to come, the man then reportedly cupped his left palm directly below the mechanism while using his right hand to depress a three-inch-wide convex plastic button labeled “PUSH” at the top of the apparatus.

Notably absent from the list of sensible soap-dispensing locations, Milson noted, was a seemingly inexplicable plastic hood-like component located near the top of the device, precisely the part of the dispenser that was, in fact, responsible for the errant blast of cleanser.
At press time, Milsom was frenziedly waving his hands around the base of the bathroom’s automatic paper towel dispenser in a prolonged attempt to activate its motion sensor.

Today in things that should definitely not be possible: Ocean Vuong received a torrent of real-time reviews from a horde of confused Australian teenagers on Instagram after they tried to interpret his writing for an exam.
Students in Australia take the HSC exams every year to finish their high school studies. This year, more than 70,000 test-takers in New South Wales were asked to read and analyze passages from On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous, including one where the protagonist, Little Dog, plucks grey hairs from his grandmother’s head.
As he plucks, she tells him stories:

As students messaged him on Instagram, Vuong posted, “yo, what the hell is an HSC exam and why are all of y’all failing it?”
“Ur text was something we had to write abt, but bro what the **** was it about,” one of them replied.

He wasn’t able to continue refining the ring, and it was stuck at its original level. On the other hand, Fiend Moon Blade was different. Qiao Jinyang was a Primal Ancestor, and he had used all he had to refine the blade. Who would have thought that he would allow Xie Bufan to bring the Fiend Moon Blade into the Cangqiong Holy Manor…
