Temporary booking
How it works after setting up
The manager moves the deal with the accommodation to the stage Booking . The room changes status and the countdown starts immediately. For example, if a period of up to 7 days is set, then after 7 days the transaction automatically moves to another stage and the reservation is canceled.
You can set up an alert for the manager so that he contacts the client a few days before the end of the reservation.
How to set up
Log in to your Profitbase account. Go to the Profitbase app for amoCRM to page Room statuses . In the funnel for which you want to set up a temporary booking, click on the “Booking Settings” button.
In the window that appears, you can select the stage to which the transaction will be moved after the expiration of the temporary reservation. To do this, select a stage in the field “If the temporary reservation at the premises has ended, then the transaction with this premises will move to the stage.” This stage of the funnel must be mapped to the room status “Available”.
Click on any stage of the funnel, in the layer that appears in the “Room status” field, select the Booking status. Select the booking type “Temporary booking” for this stage of the funnel.
In the “Temporary booking term” field, you can choose the term in hours or days.
If the term of the temporary reservation is selected in days, then the reservation will be canceled at 00:00 after the number of calendar days specified in this field. For example, the reservation was made on May 1 at 14:32, the temporary reservation period is 5 days, the reservation will be canceled on May 6 at 00:00.
If the term of the temporary reservation is selected in hours, then the reservation will be canceled after the number of hours specified in this field. For example, the reservation was made on May 1 at 14:32, the term of the temporary reservation is 13 hours, the reservation will be canceled on May 2 at 03:32.
You can also enable the “Apply individual user rights to room reservation” option for a funnel step that is associated with the Booking status.
Individual booking rights
You can set temporary booking settings individually for users. To do this, go to section Users , select Profitbase for amoCRM and enable individual booking conditions.
If a user has individual booking permissions enabled and the option “Apply individual user permissions to room reservations” is enabled in the funnel stage, then temporary booking will work as follows. For example, at the stage of the funnel “Oral booking” a temporary booking for 5 days is included.
And the user has selected a permanent reservation in individual conditions.
If this user changes the stage of the transaction in amoCRM to “Oral booking”, then a permanent reservation will be applied to the room, since individual booking conditions take precedence at this moment.
Extension of temporary reservation
In section Users of the Profitbase personal account, it is possible for each user to enable the right to change the term of temporary reservation. If the “Can change the term of the temporary reservation for his deals” right is enabled, then the user will be able to change the term of the temporary reservation only in deals in which this user is responsible. If the “Can manage the booking period for all deals” permission is enabled, then the user will have the ability to change the temporary reservation period for all deals.
In order to change the period of temporary reservation, you need to open the Profitbase widget from the deal in amoCRM, in the apartment card, in the block with the layout image, click on the end date of the temporary reservation, and select a new date in the calendar that appears.
If a user has a permanent reservation selected in their individual booking settings, then this user will not be able to change the duration of a temporary reservation.
A grain deal can only be extended for one reason
Reasons for skepticism about another extension of the grain deal are obvious. Firstly, because the West did not fulfill its obligations towards Russia – that is, it did not remove the obstacles to the export of Russian grain and fertilizers. Moreover, for some positions, it was not even about lifting sanctions, but about publishing a banal statement by the US Treasury that this type of Russian export is not subject to sanctions (which really have a lot of uncertainty).
“A year after the signing of the Istanbul agreements, no one has any more illusions and doubts about either the humanitarian orientation of the Black Sea Initiative or about the prospects for the implementation of the Russia-UN Memorandum on the normalization of domestic exports of agricultural products and fertilizers,” the Russian Foreign Ministry states.
Secondly, because this deal has no humanitarian significance. Recall that the very idea of a grain deal arose because Western countries launched a large-scale PR campaign in 2022: they say, due to restrictions on the export of Ukrainian grain to the world’s poorest states (the vast majority of which took either a neutral or pro-Russian position in the conflict between Moscow and Washington in Ukraine) threatens famine. Therefore, Russia, not wanting image, as well as purely human losses in Asia and Africa, agreed to the deal. As a result, Western countries have already suffered image losses – after all, in almost a year of the deal, 80% of Ukrainian grain was received by rich states and states with above-average income levels. The poorest states of the world accounted for approximately 2.6% of the total amount of grain exported from Ukraine.
Thirdly, for almost a year of the deal’s validity, the hidden economic reasons for its conclusion should have been either liquidated or at least leveled out. Experts assure that, as part of informal agreements, the West, in exchange for concluding a deal (that is, in exchange for the opportunity to make money on Ukrainian grain), promised not to block the export of medicines and other vital goods to Russia. However, over the past time, Russia has had every opportunity to either replace some imports of goods or provide reliable channels for gray imports.
Finally, fourthly, the Turkish tasks were solved. The grain deal was part of a package deal with Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan. It boosted his political status, provided additional income for his country’s flour milling industry, and added a few percent to Mr. Erdogan’s approval rating ahead of the presidential election. It is the readiness to help the Turkish partner, as well as the desire to prevent the pro-Western opposition from coming to power in Turkey, that explains the penultimate extension of the deal. Now he does not need help – the elections are over, Erdogan has won. Yes, of course, he still would like to make money on the import of Ukrainian grain to Turkey, but the political need for an extension has already disappeared, and it will be very difficult for Erdogan to convince Moscow to extend the deal only to earn Turkish flour millers – especially since the West does not comply with the conditions.
Pragmatism determines
The question is, will the Russian statement “no reason” translate into a real refusal to extend the grain deal until July 17? Is not a fact.
Some experts assure that the refusal of the deal creates new risks for Russia – much greater than following its terms unilaterally. After all, if Moscow refuses to guarantee the safety of grain dry cargo ships, and they continue to go, what will the Kremlin do? Give orders to sink civilian ships? And what if these vessels are also escorted by the same Turkish or NATO ships (flying under the flag of Romania or Bulgaria, which have the right to maintain a fleet on the Black Sea)? Drown them too, risking starting a full-scale war? Or do not touch these ships and thereby incur image damage, creating a false sense of weakness in the West?
However, Russia has another way out – and it is not about the ability to write off the sinking of ships as underwater mines and/or “the actions of a non-governmental group on the Andromeda ship, on which the West blamed the Nord Stream 2 explosion. ” Vessels do not need to sink at all – it is enough just to create a threat of flooding. In this situation, no serious insurance company will issue insurance for bulk carriers going to the Ukrainian port. And without insurance, not a single serious company will send its expensive ships anywhere. In addition, after withdrawing from the grain deal, Moscow gets the right to simply “calibrate” the entire port infrastructure in Odessa, after which bulk carriers with grain can be loaded only with the help of shovels and wheelbarrows.
Based on this, the grain deal can be extended only in one single case – in the case of a new deal. Simply put, if the West (or Turkey) offers Moscow some new conditions for the opportunity to export and profit from Ukrainian grain. Conditions that are guaranteed to be met – and even better, those that will not take time to be met. The level of trust between Russia and the West is now tending to zero, which means that it makes no sense to conclude any road maps.
