In addition to introductory religious services, the church has an entire wing of specially equipped rooms to provide Scientology auditing (one-to-one counseling).Those training to become auditors (Scientology consultants) will now be able to practice in a wing of several study rooms, each specially designed for specific aspects of religious instruction.

The opening of the new Church of Scientology of Central Ohio continues a period of extraordinary expansion of the religion as more than 70 new Churches of Scientology have been opened around the world, from Orlando to Perth, Dublin to Detroit, and Kansas City to Johannesburg.

New churches are planned for the next 12 months in North America, Australia, Europe and the UK.

Biography

In 1993 he graduated with honors from the biological faculty of Tyumen State University.In the same year he passed the included training at the University of Kansas, Lawrence (USA) under the President’s program.

Since 1999 – co-editor, since 2010 – consultant editor, since 2016 – editor-in-chief of the scientific journal “Acarina” (included in the bibliographic database “Scopus”), founded at the Zoological Museum of Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov.

In 2004, he founded the AgroEcoNet Agricultural and Environmental Scientific and Educational Information Network.

In 2009 – 2013 – Director of the research and educational project “Global Environmental Issues” of the “USA-Russia” program with Indiana and Massachusetts Technological Universities under the auspices of the Presidential Commission of the United States and the Russian Federation.

In 2011 – 2016 coordinator from the Russian side of the Russian-German research project “SASCHA” (“Sustainable land use and adaptation strategies to climate change for the agricultural zone of Western Siberia”) with GAU Northern Trans-Urals and a consortium of universities and research centers of Germany under a mega-grant from the Ministry of Education and Science Germany.

In 2016 – 2017 co-director of the project for the modernization of graduate school at Tyumen State University in cooperation with the College of Ecology and Forestry of the State University of New York, USA, under a grant from the Eurasia Foundation and the National Training Foundation (NFP).

Research interests include taxonomy and ecology of acariform mites. Author and co-author of over 100 scientific and educational works. Three Ph.D. theses have been defended under the supervision of A.V. Tolstikov.
