Type A fuses can be used in both the engine compartment fuse box and the passenger compartment fuse box.
If a Type A fuse is used to replace the Type B fuse, the Type A fuse will not be flush with the fuse holder (see illustration).This does not affect the function of the fuse. Check that the fuse is firmly seated in the correct socket. A type B fuse cannot be installed in the engine compartment fuse box. Only type A fuses can be used in this unit.

1. Check that the ignition switch and center light switch are in the OFF position.
2. Open the hood.
3. Remove the cover of the fuse box next to the battery. To do this, pull the cover horizontally and lift the part closest to the wing, then pull towards the engine and lift the part of the cover from the side of the fuel pump.
4. Locate the defective fuse.
5. Remove the blown fuse with tweezers. The tweezers are stored in the fuse box located in the passenger compartment.
6. The blown fuse (A) must be replaced with a new fuse (B).

7. Install the fuse box cover.
8. Install the air intake in reverse order.
9. Close the hood.

If the new fuse also blows, have an authorized Nissan dealer check and repair the vehicle’s electrical equipment.
