H2O Swimming School | Set of children from 5 to 13 years old
1) Do children spend time on gadgets during the camp?
No, every morning all children hand over gadgets to coaches and take them away only before leaving home. Of course, during the day, all the children, if necessary, can call their parents. We invite children to plunge into a unique atmosphere without gadgets and spend summer time in the company of new friends, interesting communication, mobile, educational and entertaining games (including outdoors), and of course spending time with benefit – daily training in swimming, football, fitness, etc.
2) Is there a daily routine and what is it like?
Yes, of course there is.
Approximate daily routine:
08:30-09:00 gathering of children
09:00-09:45 charging
09:45-10:45 free time (walk in the park, outdoor games, team building, entertainment, etc. )
10.45-11.00 preparation for the pool
11:00-12:30 first training session: pool session (learning to swim or improving existing skills)
12:30-13:30 free time (rest, board games, team-building and entertainment activities, watching movies, etc.)
13:30-14:00 lunch (lunch in a cafe)
14:00-15:00 free time (table games, educational, team-building, recreational activities, etc.)
15:00-16:30 second training session (football (boys), fitness (girls), as well as other team sports / physical training with professional trainers)
16:30-17:00 afternoon snack and debriefing of day
17:00-18:00 children go home
3) How many shifts can I sign up for?
This year we have specially reduced the number of days in a shift to 5, so that parents have more variability and it is more convenient for you to select the necessary dates. It will also allow children who have not yet been to the camps to try themselves in a new format of pastime. Of course, a child can attend an unlimited number of shifts and each new one will be interesting and unique, both in terms of sports and entertainment.
4) What is included in the price?
Everything! Really everything. This includes meals (lunch and afternoon snack), two workouts a day, team-building events, a professional coach and much, much more. Parents don’t have to pay for anything.
5) Who will be with the children during the whole day?
Throughout the duration of the camp with children from morning to evening there will be professional coaches of our swimming school who have extensive experience working with children. They will also organize interesting leisure activities for children in their free time. Each group will have its own coach, who is responsible for the children during the day, both during training and at other times.
6) How much time will be devoted to swimming and in what format?
Every day there will be training for children in the pool with professional trainers, where each child will be able to train based on their skills and develop the necessary qualities. During training, we divide will be divided into groups according to skills and abilities. Each group will be engaged in its own program: learning to swim or developing skills.
7) What ages of children is this camp for?
We recruit children born in 2009-2015 in the Camp. All children will be divided into groups according to age and each group will have its own personal trainer who will work with the children during training and stay with the guys the rest of the time during the entire camp change.
8) What is the quality of food in the camp?
We are well aware of the importance of nutrition for a young body. Meals will be two meals a day: lunch and afternoon tea. Children eat in the cafe “Family club”. For all last year’s shifts, we did not have a single complaint about the quality of food. We are following this closely.
9) Where will the camp take place?
This is Gorky Park itself: large and comfortable rooms at Frunze 7, within walking distance (9 min) of a swimming pool, an artificial turf football field, playgrounds. The territory is closed, there is no roadway and for children it is a very good, calm, beautiful and most importantly safe place.
10) How is this camp useful for your child?
Your child will make new friends, develop discipline, determination and learn to work in a team. In addition, he will develop and improve his swimming skills, physical health. Coaches try to instill in children a love for sports and a desire to take care of their health, their physical form! But let’s not forget that this is also the summer holidays, the sweetest childhood time, and, of course, here your child will be interested and fun. In general, we try to distract children from computers and tablets and show them another, more interesting and useful world of sports and self-development!
11) How is this camp useful for parents?
Summer vacation is a time not only for a child to relax, but also for parents to worry about what to captivate their son or daughter so that they do not sit around the TV or computer for days. Many parents work from morning to evening and do not have the opportunity to control what the child does throughout the day. We are solving this problem. And not only this one. With us, the child will not only be busy with useful, pleasant and fun activities with his peers, but he will still be under the watchful eye of the coaches, that is, he will be safe. You brought the child to the camp before the start of the working day and on the way home you took your son from the camp, where the responsible coach will talk about the success of the child, and the child himself will be full, satisfied and with a lot of pleasant impressions.
12) Have we had experience with such a camp?
Yes, the management of the H2O Swimming School has experience in organizing children’s summer camps since the summer of 2016.
13) Where will the children be during the day?
Children during the entire camp will be on the territory of the sports complex (training process) and in a comfortable rest room, which is within walking distance from the football field, cafe, swimming pool (9 minutes walk) and 10 meters from Gorky Park itself.
