Emerging Technologies in Sports Fabrics
Innovative fabric technologies are continuously being developed, offering:
- Enhanced moisture management capabilities
- Improved temperature regulation

Mitsubishi Pajero Pinin weaknesses, breakdowns, nuances of operation
If you need a small SUV that feels confident both in the city and off-road, look at the Mitsubishi Pajero Pinin model.
Modifications
The smallest Mitsubishi Pajero Pinin of the first generation was produced in Japan from 1994 to 2007.
Despite the slightly larger dimensions than the Mini. The Pajero Junior was less successful.
Pajero io – a model for the domestic Japanese market – had a slightly different appearance than Pinin.
A 1991 Pajero served as a prototype for Pinin’s small but serious off-road vehicle. In the secondary market, about half of Pinin are copies. previously bought new. The rest came to us from Europe.
The SUV was produced in three- and five-door bodies, respectively, with short and extended bases. The last option has five seats. Three-door is designed for four. Behind the two, moderately freely only at the level of the elbows, and there is not enough space in the knees.
Pinin has a much looser front than many competitors. Its interior is wider inside than, for example. Suzuki Jimny 90mm. Finishing materials are not the most expensive, but you can’t find fault with the carefulness of fitting the internal panels. Ergonomics has been worked out to the smallest detail: the instruments are perfectly readable in any light, and the controls are logically located, and everything, as they say, is at hand. Good visibility is provided by a large glass area, large exterior mirrors and rear headrests recessed into the backrests.
Pajero Pinin had ABS, power steering, front and side airbags as standard. This is the minimum required equipment for vehicles approved for sale in Europe. After 2003, the equipment became richer – there was a central lock, front electric windows and a servo drive for heated side mirrors. The Instyle variant adds air conditioning and fog lights, while the Ultimate adds alloy wheels and power rear windows.
Pajero Pinin is equipped with sufficiently powerful engines that provide the car with light dynamics and sufficient traction at low speeds – for off-road attacks. Motors – gasoline four-cylinder. One – with a volume of 1.8 liters (120 hp) – after modernization in 2001 began to produce 114 hp, and the second – a two-liter. 129-strong.
Both engines are structurally similar, but the 1.8-litre can be either conventional multipoint or, like the 2-litre, with GDI direct injection. Engines of this series practically do not suffer from “congenital diseases”. However, during prolonged operation on a lean mixture, carbon deposits occur, therefore, every 30,000-40,000 km of run, cleaning of the intake manifold, throttle valve assembly and EGR outlet pipe (exhaust gas afterburning system) is required. If this is not done, the motor starts to work unstably, especially when revving.
The car was produced in urban (City-Size Refinement) and off-road (Off-Road Exciment) versions. The city version was equipped with a 1.8-liter engine and Full Time 4WD transmission:
permanent all-wheel drive with a center differential blocked by a viscous coupling.
The reliability of the chassis is excellent, it requires only competent maintenance. The oil in the axles and razdatka is changed every 60,000 km. The mechanical five-speed gearbox is durable. With a quad-range
automatic, problems are extremely rare.
Mitsubishi Pajero Pinin is a versatile car. Compact and at the same time quite roomy, it confidently moves on any roads at any time of the year. In addition, real Japanese quality and affordable price predetermined its success in the secondary market.
It’s good that cars don’t know how to be offended – otherwise Pajero Pinin would have to answer for a carelessly dropped word about the size of Pajero Pinin in front of a whole cohort of his older brothers – glorious Mitsubishi SUVs, who shared their best qualities with the “boy”. It first appeared in the Japanese and Asian markets as the Pajero iO. In Europe it was sold as Pajero Pinin, but in Ukraine there are also iO with a 1.6-liter engine (104 hp). Pinin (from Italian – “baby”) was produced in Italy, at the Pininfarina plant using the SKD method: engines and transmissions were supplied from Japan, and most other components were European. The design of Pinin/iO is completely original and has no common nodes with other models. The bottom of the car body is reinforced with a frame frame, the suspension is energy-intensive, the transmission is similar to the recognized “rogue” – Pajero Wagon.
Salon
The interior of the three-door Pinin is cramped at the back: only two people can fit on the sofa sandwiched between the wheel arches. In this case, the “five-door” is preferable – there is noticeably more space in the back. But in front of these versions it is quite spacious, visibility is excellent, but the steering wheel has no adjustments, and the pedals are grouped very tightly. The trunk of both modifications (in the “stowed” state 166 liters or 358 liters, respectively) is not the smallest in the class, moreover, a niche in the floor and folding rear seat backs improve its functionality.
Body
The metal of the load-bearing body is not galvanized, but the paint and protective coating protects it well from corrosion. Experts name only one drawback of the car body – for too active owners, the cups of the front strut supports “converged”, which caused the camber angle to be violated. Runners know several ways to “treat”, for example, with the help of thin bolts for fastening the steering knuckles to the racks.
Engine
Pajero Pinin 1.9-liter turbodiesel (90 hp), which is practically never found in our country, and gasoline engines of two sizes: 2.0 liters and 1.8 liters. The 2.0-liter was produced only with the proprietary GDI direct injection system (129 hp), while the 1.8-liter could be with different power systems: the same GDi (120 hp), MPi distributed injection (114 hp) and turbocharged distributed injection (136 hp). In Ukraine, a 114-horsepower version of the 1.8-liter MPi and a 129-horsepower 2.0-liter Jedi come across. These are Japanese motors that deserve the highest praise. Their resource, which reaches 300-500 thousand km, is far from being exhausted, and they do not have characteristic weaknesses. The engines provide good dynamics (from 0–100 km/h in 11.9/10.2 s).
Official dealers adapted GDi units to domestic gasoline. To preserve the fuel pump (develops 50 atm.), The cars were understaffed with an additional fuel filter and prescribed frequent replacement of the standard one: 30 thousand km instead of the 120 thousand recommended for Europe. km The filter of MPi motors located in the tank is changed after 60 thousand km. “Platinum” spark plugs of 2.0-liter engines serve 80 thousand km allotted to them.
Timing hydraulic compensators for many Pinin sold on the secondary market are “on the way”: their resource is about 150 thousand km. The camshafts of all engines are driven by a belt that “nurses” 80 thousand km. Together with it, it is recommended to change the front oil seals of the camshafts and crankshafts, as well as the rollers, which begin to whistle and hum at around 100-150 thousand km. And the pump driven by the same belt “survives” until its second replacement.
Transmission
The kid was equipped with two types of transmission. First of all, this is a reduced copy of the “Pager” Super Select 4 (SS4). Modes: 2H – rear-wheel drive, 4H – rear-wheel drive with automatic front end connection, 4HLc – all-wheel drive with rigid torque distribution along the axes (50×50), 4LLc – the same, but with a reduction gear. A nice feature of the SS4 is that you can switch from mode to mode (except 4LLc) at speeds up to 100 km/h! Many copies were equipped with a Torsen self-locking rear differential. In Ukraine, there is also a simpler Full Time transmission (FT4): permanent all-wheel drive and a center differential blocked by a viscous coupling. There is no demultiplier and a self-locking rear differential, but even without them, the off-road qualities of such cars are not bad.
In general, it should be noted that, despite the “childish” friendly appearance, off the asphalt roads Pinin will give odds to all SUVs!
The “off-road” part of the transmission proved to be generally durable, except that the owners of cars with SS4 are let down by the backstage of the “transfer case”, in which the lever position sensors fail.
There are few cars with automatic transmissions on our market. This is a cause for regret, since the 4-speed hydro-mechanical unit is reliable and durable. However, there are no serious “sins” for the 5-speed “mechanics”. The clutch is capable of serving up to 200 thousand km, although it can be “burned” with a rash off-road assault. Owners of cars equipped with a 2.0-liter engine with a two-mass flywheel should be especially careful – if it “burns out” along with the disk, the repair will cost a pretty penny (only the flywheel costs about $400).
Cardan joints work up to 120-150 thousand km, after which the crosspieces must be replaced – each separately. Nothing needs to be injected into the chassis, and the oil in the axles and both boxes is replaced every 40 thousand km.
Suspension
Spring suspension: front – McPherson, rear – dependent, the axle is suspended on four longitudinal and transverse levers. In the chassis, the bushings and stabilizer struts of both axles deserve criticism. The rest of the suspension components last longer: rear shock absorbers – 60-80 thousand km, front – 70-100 thousand km, ball bearings, silent blocks of all front and rear levers – up to 100 thousand km. With the exception of ball bearings, all the “consumables” of the chassis, including the bearings of the hubs and axle shafts, are changed separately from the larger assembly units mating with them.
Steering
The Pinin steering is equipped with a hydraulic booster with variable force at different speeds. The rack and pinion mechanism and the power steering pump operate for at least 150 thousand km, in case of wear of the “rail” there is a proprietary repair kit. The replacement of the working fluid is not regulated, it is changed only in case of contamination. You need to pay attention to the steering trapezium hinges by 80 thousand km, and the tips near the “rail” wear out earlier.
Brake system
Brake hydraulics are trouble-free, and brake discs – the weak point of all Mitsubishi SUVs – at Pinin are durable and work up to 70 thousand km.
Total
Despite the serious off-road capabilities, many Pajero Pinin have not been in the hands of real jeepers. The fact is that the first Pinin buyers thought that they were buying a SUV for the city, but they got a real SUV with a rigid suspension, tight levers and pedals, and a noisy transmission that “goat” on bumps. But for a buyer of a used car, this is a plus – the cars are well preserved, and their all-wheel drive transmission and chassis are rarely tested on serious off-road. Accordingly, the resource of nodes is far from being exhausted. And in general, according to experts, Pinin has no particular problems with reliability, and not only because most of the cars have not yet had time to grow old.
We recommend purchasing this car to those who need a compact SUV with high cross-country ability.

Motivational quotes about failure
It’s not often that leaders are willing to speak frankly about failure, but it’s an inevitable part of growth. Take Thomas Edison, he had a lot of failed inventions, but he accepted his mistakes rather than giving in to them. The same can be said about you and your team. Failure is only part of the process, and pushing the team to new things and innovation motivates all of its members to work even better. Growth is useful not only for the company, but also for each of its employees, because it allows them to think outside the box. Discuss failures openly with your team using the quotes below.

Three ways to inspire teamwork
Still not sure how to inspire your team? Providing inspiration isn’t always as easy as quoting a motivational adage. In fact, this should be used in various ways. One of the most effective methods of motivating a team is to provide it with the means and tools it needs to succeed. And Asana can help with that. Below are three ways to inspire teamwork.
Conducting Team Building Exercises Virtually
Team Building Exercises are not only a great way to increase communication and trust within a team, but also a fun break for employees to help boost their morale. But how exactly do you organize team building events with telecommuting software? A study conducted by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology showed that the more people who participate in a meeting, the lower the effectiveness of the interaction. That is, while it is sometimes helpful to get the whole company together to make some general announcements, team building events are most effective when they are held in small groups.
Team building does not have to be a complex process. The exercise can be no more difficult than asking a few questions to remove the psychological barrier in the team. In addition, creativity can be realized by organizing various quizzes and educational activities at the dinner table with the participation of small groups of four to five people.
Collaborate with Project Management Tool
There is nothing more important than keeping in touch with your colleagues, whether your entire team is in the same office or scattered around the world. Project management software helps ensure that everyone has a common understanding of the situation, regardless of the time zone. With such a wide variety of tools available, it can be difficult to know which path to productivity is the most effective.
According to Asana’s study titled “Work Structure Index”, 60% of work time is spent organizing work. How much time was wasted on everyday searches for documents and constant switching between applications! That’s why it’s so important to choose the right tools with a wide range of features to increase your productivity.
Visualize work with the team calendar
Keep track of your work schedule by creating a team calendar to track due dates and keep upcoming projects and deadlines under control. The calendar will not only help your team plan and manage projects in a shared space, but will also be useful for those who find it easier to understand the task in a visual representation than in the form of a simple list. If you prefer the traditional approach, check out how to create an even more user-friendly to-do list.
When choosing your calendaring software, think about application integrations. It is very useful to ensure compatibility with the tools you already use. This allows you to increase productivity without slowing down current processes.
Use Quotes to Achieve Your Goals
Quotes about leadership and teamwork are not only a great way to encourage co-workers to work together, but also a great way to show colleagues appreciation for their efforts and dedication. We hope they will be able to motivate you and your team to achieve your goals.
Remember that promoting teamwork is a much bigger task than just sharing quotes. It is about how to ensure the coherence of the team’s actions using the tools and methods of team building. No wonder they say that the team is a great force, so continue to inspire people to work as a team, and then success will come to you.
