90,000 Rhythmic gymnastics fees: what are they eaten with?
Gathering is useful, gathering is nice, and in general it is great! However, for many parents of novice gymnasts, they raise a lot of questions. We asked a real professional – an international master of sports, a former member of the Russian national rhythmic gymnastics team, choreographer-director of the Alina festival and the author of the Art in Sport project Lyubov Barykina – to answer them, using the example of the annual Art in Sport training camp.
Love, what are sports camps for at all – and what is the difference between the training process during TCB and ordinary training?
Fees are needed, first of all, for the development of the child in this sport – so that he gets used to discipline, independence, responsibility, courage, and gets to know new children and teachers. Competition in the process of training gives a great impetus to the development of a gymnast and a person in general.
If we are talking about the benefits of the Art in Sport project for a gymnast, there are several more positive factors.In this case, children not only improve their skills and knowledge in rhythmic gymnastics, but also develop comprehensively: in modern and folk dance, circus and acting, classical ballet, visual arts, and very soon vocals will also be added to this! Girls should receive harmonious personal development so that after the end of their sports career it would be easier for them to find themselves, their vocation!
Is there some kind of certification at the training camp – or is it just classes?
At the end of each project, we do a final Gala concert where the children show what they have learned in this short but very intense and productive time (6-7 days).Each age group shows at least 3 dance compositions, as well as their own show “brought from home”.
The reporting concert is much more than an attestation. This is the result on the face in such a short time, but the most important thing is only positive emotions!
From what age can gymnasts take part in the training camp?
The training camp involves a complete change of scenery, almost constant collective communication – therefore, girls of the earliest age for rhythmic gymnastics do not come to the training camp.For example, girls from 5-6 years old to 14 years old come to us. This age gap is optimal, during which real stars are formed.
How long do fees usually last?
Rhythmic gymnastics clubs and schools do not fix the same time period for training camps – for some it is 4-5 days, for others – 8-10. We always hold our camps within one week. Our practice shows that this is the most optimal time to get the necessary information, not get tired and get the most out of the work done!
Can parents come – are there any visiting conditions for worried mothers?))
Girls come to us accompanied by their parents or coaches.Coaches are always present in the classroom, and for parents we make open lessons so that they can see how their children train and what material the teachers give. Open lessons are useful and enjoyable for both parents and girls (especially younger ones) – I think it’s clear why ☺
Does the level of physical fitness of a gymnast matter?
We work with children of all skill levels, but working with children of a high level, of course, is very pleasant:
Lyubov Barykina
After all, they can be given more complex and interesting material – and then show more complex, effective things at the final concert.But, as I said, it doesn’t matter for the training process at the training camp, because professional coaches and teachers work with children.
What should parents pay attention to when choosing a TCB on their own?
When choosing TCB, most parents make the mistake of choosing first names and well-known surnames. They forget that not every eminent gymnast can be a good teacher and generally have the proper education to teach children!
Therefore, my personal wish is not to chase the championship, but pay attention to the complex, harmonious development of your child! That is why there is a project “Art in Sport”, where children receive knowledge not only from the most qualified teachers in the world of sports, but also get acquainted with dance, ballet, circus and acting, visual arts, communicating with world stars in the field of art.
How to psychologically prepare a child for the first training camp, what to look for?
If the girl goes to the training camp for the first time, you can and should accompany her. But there are excellent coaches with whom parents can safely let their child go: you can teach children to discipline and independence much faster and better without parents! And one more tip for parents: don’t worry. With your gymnast there will be those who know how to work not only with stretching or endurance, but also with the child’s psyche – in a word, you definitely shouldn’t worry!
Thank you – and we wish you and your project good luck!

Gymnastics camps serve as the basis for monitoring the level of athletes’ fitness and play an important role in improving their qualifications.Such sports camps, organized by the tour operator Alean, allow us to see the shortcomings in the work of the training process and its planning. They contribute to the improvement of the performing level of the gymnast, the development of the school of movements and are one of the most effective ways to strengthen the volitional training of professional gymnasts.
Participation in the gymnastics camps tones up and revives the training process, activates athletes, increases interest in classes and performance.Such training camps are effective throughout the entire period of preparation for the next competition. They are an important preparatory stage for gymnasts to compete.
Conducting sports camps in gymnastics
At the training camp, where all efforts are devoted to preparing for the competition, the whole process begins with drawing up a regulation, which reflects the main organizational issues and issues related to the competition.
In this position, it is necessary to provide:
– main tasks and goals;
– place and time of the event;
– the composition of the management;
– make a program;
– determine the circle of participants;
– solution of organizational processes.
Gymnastics training camps are qualifying, testing, dedicated to certain significant dates. Holding this kind of training camp in artistic gymnastics pursues several goals, it can be match meetings between sports schools, teams, etc. On them you can see the results of the work of gymnasts and their coaches, identify the most capable and promising athletes and decide on the composition of the national teams.
