How does the Epoch Hawk Prequel lacrosse head improve performance. What are the key features of this innovative head design. Why is the Hawk Prequel generating excitement among players.
Introducing the Epoch Hawk Prequel: A Game-Changing Lacrosse Head
The lacrosse world is abuzz with excitement over the release of the Epoch Hawk Prequel lacrosse head. This innovative new head design aims to elevate midfield play with its unique features and performance-enhancing technologies. Let’s dive into what makes the Hawk Prequel stand out from other lacrosse heads on the market.
Key Design Features of the Hawk Prequel
The Hawk Prequel incorporates several key design elements that contribute to its performance:
- Traditional curved profile for enhanced ball control
- Zone 3 mid-pocket location optimized for quick release
- Laid-back technology improving the overall head shape
- Natural sweet spot formed in the mid-pocket area
These features work in tandem to create a head that excels in ball retention, quick passes, and accurate shots – all crucial skills for midfield players.
Optimized for Midfield Performance
Why is the Hawk Prequel particularly well-suited for midfield play? The combination of its curved profile and mid-pocket design allows for:
- Faster transitions between offense and defense
- Improved ball control when dodging defenders
- Quicker release on both passes and shots
- Enhanced accuracy for feeding attackers or shooting on goal
These characteristics make the Hawk Prequel an ideal choice for midfielders looking to elevate their game.
The Technology Behind the Hawk Prequel’s Design
What technological advancements contribute to the Hawk Prequel’s performance? The head incorporates:
- Laid-back technology: This innovative approach to head design creates a more natural and efficient catching surface.
- Zone 3 pocket positioning: By optimizing the pocket location, Epoch has created a “sweet spot” that enhances both control and quick release.
- Advanced materials: While specific material details aren’t provided, Epoch is known for using high-quality, durable plastics in their head designs.
These technological features combine to create a head that offers superior performance for midfield players.
Comparing the Hawk Prequel to Other Lacrosse Heads
How does the Hawk Prequel stack up against other popular lacrosse heads? While direct comparisons can be subjective, the Hawk Prequel offers several advantages:
- Specialized midfield design: Unlike more generalist heads, the Hawk Prequel is tailored specifically for midfield play.
- Balance of control and quick release: Many heads excel in one area but sacrifice performance in others. The Hawk Prequel aims to provide the best of both worlds.
- Innovative pocket placement: The Zone 3 mid-pocket location is a unique feature that sets the Hawk Prequel apart from many competitors.
Players looking for a head that enhances their midfield capabilities may find the Hawk Prequel to be a superior option compared to more general-purpose designs.
Stringing Options and Pocket Customization
How can players optimize the Hawk Prequel’s performance through stringing? The head’s design offers versatility in pocket customization:
- Mid-pocket emphasis: The Zone 3 design naturally favors a mid-pocket, but players can adjust string tension to fine-tune the pocket depth and shape.
- Multiple stringing styles: The Hawk Prequel accommodates traditional, mesh, and hybrid stringing patterns.
- Customizable whip: By adjusting the top string and sidewall patterns, players can dial in their preferred amount of whip for optimal release.
This flexibility in stringing allows players to tailor the Hawk Prequel to their individual playing style and preferences.
Player Feedback and Early Reviews
What are players saying about the Hawk Prequel? While comprehensive reviews are still emerging, early feedback has been largely positive:
- Improved ball control: Many players report better handling and retention during dodges and transitions.
- Quicker release: The mid-pocket design is praised for allowing faster passes and shots.
- Versatility: Players appreciate the head’s performance across various midfield tasks, from faceoffs to shooting.
- Durability: Early adopters note that the head holds up well to the rigors of competitive play.
As more players have the opportunity to use the Hawk Prequel in game situations, a clearer picture of its long-term performance and durability will emerge.
Is the Hawk Prequel Right for You?
Who should consider using the Epoch Hawk Prequel lacrosse head? This head is likely an excellent choice for:
- Dedicated midfield players looking to specialize their equipment
- Players who prioritize quick ball movement and accurate passing
- Athletes who frequently transition between offense and defense
- Lacrosse players seeking the latest in head design technology
However, attackmen or defensemen may find heads more tailored to their specific positions to be a better fit. As with any equipment choice, it’s essential to consider your playing style, skill level, and position when deciding if the Hawk Prequel is the right choice for you.
Availability and Pricing
Where can players purchase the Epoch Hawk Prequel, and what should they expect to pay? The head is available through various lacrosse retailers and online marketplaces. While prices may vary, the Hawk Prequel typically falls into the mid-to-high price range for premium lacrosse heads, with an MSRP around $74.99 for the unstrung version.
Players should keep in mind that investing in a quality head like the Hawk Prequel can pay dividends in terms of performance and durability on the field. Additionally, some retailers may offer package deals that include stringing services or mesh kits, which can provide added value for players looking for a complete setup.
Maintenance and Care
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of the Hawk Prequel, players should follow these maintenance tips:
- Regularly inspect the head for cracks or damage, especially after intense games or practices.
- Clean the head with mild soap and water to remove dirt and debris that can affect performance.
- Store the stick in a cool, dry place to prevent warping or material degradation.
- Avoid leaving the stick in extreme temperatures, such as in a hot car, which can compromise the head’s integrity.
- Periodically check and adjust stringing to maintain optimal pocket shape and performance.
By properly caring for the Hawk Prequel, players can extend its lifespan and ensure consistent performance throughout multiple seasons of play.
The Future of Lacrosse Head Design
What does the Hawk Prequel suggest about the future of lacrosse equipment? The head’s innovative features point to several trends in lacrosse gear development:
- Increased specialization: We may see more heads designed for specific positions or playing styles.
- Advanced materials: Manufacturers are likely to continue exploring new materials that offer improved durability and performance.
- Biomechanical optimization: Future designs may incorporate even more advanced ergonomic features to enhance natural playing motions.
- Customization options: The trend towards personalized equipment setups is likely to grow, with heads offering more stringing and adjustment possibilities.
As players demand ever-higher levels of performance from their equipment, we can expect to see continued innovation in lacrosse head design, building on the advancements showcased in products like the Hawk Prequel.
Integrating the Hawk Prequel into Your Game
For players transitioning to the Hawk Prequel from another head, there may be an adjustment period. To maximize the benefits of this new design:
- Spend time practicing fundamental skills to get a feel for the head’s balance and release points.
- Experiment with different stringing patterns to find the optimal setup for your playing style.
- Focus on quick-stick drills to take advantage of the head’s fast release capabilities.
- Work on transition play to fully utilize the versatility of the mid-pocket design.
- Seek feedback from coaches or experienced players who can offer insights on optimizing your use of the new head.
By dedicating time to adapting your play to the Hawk Prequel’s unique characteristics, you can fully leverage its performance-enhancing features on the field.
The Impact on Team Strategy
How might the adoption of specialized equipment like the Hawk Prequel influence team tactics? Coaches and players may find new strategic possibilities:
- Faster transitions: Teams may emphasize quick breaks and rapid ball movement to capitalize on the head’s quick-release capabilities.
- Midfield-centric offenses: The improved ball control could lead to more midfield-driven offensive schemes.
- Defensive pressure: Confident in their ability to maintain possession, teams may employ more aggressive ride and clear tactics.
- Specialized roles: With equipment tailored to specific positions, teams might develop more defined player roles within their systems.
As more players adopt position-specific equipment like the Hawk Prequel, we may see evolving strategies that take full advantage of these technological advancements.

90,000 “Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance”: Netflix’s New Eighttecostal Treasure
The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance is released on Netflix – a serial prequel to the legendary dark fantasy puppetry Jim Henson and Frank Oz. We’ll tell you why this movie should be watched right now and how it fits into the nostalgic trend for the eighties.
The 80s are in fashion, or rather, all the pop-cultural phenomena associated with this era. This week comes the sequel to the new “It”, in the middle of September – “American Horror Story: 1984”, in the fall – “Terminator: Dark Fate”, at the end of the year is clearly not the last “Star Wars”. Leaving no one in doubt, the second season of Cobra Kai, the serial sequel to The Karate Kid, explicitly states that there has never been a better era on Earth than the 80s, and also throws a costume party in the style of that time.
It all started definitely not with Stranger Things (for example, back in the early tenths there was JJ Abrams’ Super 8 science fiction, which befrien Spielberg’s Alien with Monstro), but it was Stranger Things that was brought to Netflix this fashion is absurd. And in this sense, the shopping mall appearing in the third season with its tickling nostalgic receptors signs of the times and the cinema, which shows “Day of the Dead” and “Back to the Future”, can be mistaken for a self-revealing metaphor. In essence, Stranger Things is this hypermarket – a gigantic mall where everyone will find a legendary candy to their liking. But it is also a metaphor for “Netflix” itself – a candy store, the owners of which know that real sweets have no expiration date, which means that the time has come to take on the actualization of such a completely non-obvious eightecostal classics, such as, for example, the dark fantasy “Dark crystal”.

The third season of “Stranger Things”: the adventures of Petrov and Vasechkin in “Chernobyl”
The iconic puppet painting by Jim Henson and Frank Oz – pop-cultural icon of the 80s , however, only in the West, for some reason it does not enjoy the same popularity in our country. We know more about “Labyrinth” or, for example, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”, which also had Hens dolls. But in “Turtles” and “Labyrinth” there were also people, and in “Dark Crystal” they are absent altogether. And the fact that the main characters of the picture are magical creatures, invented by the brilliant designer Brian Froud and played by the most complex animatronic mechanisms, produces an exciting and completely mesmerizing effect. The world of “Dark Crystal”, despite the fact that it is fictional, is similar to the real one in its elaboration and detail.
After the release of the film, several sequels were conceived – and even a sketch of the script for “The Power of the Dark Crystal” was written (now it exists in the form of comics), but the end of all plans was put by Henson’s sudden death due to pneumonia: he refused to go to the hospital, so as an orthodox Jehovah .After his death, the story of the hypothetical sequel also died out, until it was recently revealed that Netflix, producer (and Jim’s daughter) Lisa Henson, Jim Henson’s Creature Shop and director Louis Leterrier (Danny Chain Dog, Clash of the Titans) preparing a prequel.

Good old fiction, which is funny to watch now
Good old fiction, which is funny to see now
According to his story, in the far corner of the universe there is the planet Tra, which revolves around three suns, and in its very center there is a crystal of truth – the source of all living things. The planet is inhabited by seven clans of Gelflings (creatures that look like elf-deer), shorty-skinny and other fantastic creatures. They run everything on Tra (after the wise witch Ogre set off on a mental journey through space) aliens – Skexis aliens, looking like a hybrid of a bird of prey and a reptile .
Skeksis secretly draw energy from the crystal, which they swore to protect. However, one day the crystal stops working like a battery. And then the scientist Skektek (the voice of Mark “Luke Skywalker” Hamill) invents a machine that begins to take life essence from the gelflings. The guard Ryan finds out about this, but no one believes him, except for the girl-gelfling Dit, who, in the company of Hap, is in a hurry to report that darkening is spreading underground – a force that is capable of destroying their world. Meanwhile, in another part of Tra, the princess of Gelflings Brea, who does not leave the library, will understand that it is time to get away from books and save civilization. Soon the fates of all these heroes (warrior, princess and wildling) will intertwine, as winter is coming.
There is no doubt that the “Age of Resistance” was made under the influence of “Game of Thrones” , and Leterier does not deny this.A blonde princess who wishes everyone well. A warrior who sees something terrible and shouts that the end is near. Cersei Lannister, Margery Tyrell and Missandei voice acting. The impending apocalypse, after all. However, despite all these formalist tricks and familiar voices, we note that unlike the aforementioned “Cobra Kai”, which fascinatingly deconstructs “The Karate Kid” for two seasons, “Dark Crystal” treats its canon much, much more carefully.
The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Trailer
Gelflings here are mostly good, and skexis are bad. That is, the gallery of familiar images is not revised, but only slightly more complicated. As the list of declared topics becomes more complicated. If in the original “Dark Crystal” the leading theme was genocide (skexis exterminated almost all gelflings), then in the “Age of Resistance” social stratification, class enmity, everyday racism (and between the gelfling clans), environmental commentary (in the series even stronger than in the film, pantheistic motives sound when everything divine is identified with nature – in fact, the population of Tra worships the planet, as in “Avatar”) and the responsibility of the scientist for his invention, because the diabolical mechanism of the Skektek, sucking the essence from magical creatures , Is a ticking atomic bomb.
The heroes of the series do not know about this yet, but they live in a world where not only winter has come, but also the white walkers have won. And this eschatological doom makes The Dark Crystal similar to another legendary fantasy franchise – Star Wars . Like George Lucas in the prequel trilogy, the Age of Resistance creators show us an inhabited and flourishing oecumene, while in the original film it (as in the old Star Wars) is a post-apocalyptic wasteland. However, there is absolutely nothing strange about the fact that these franchises followed the same path: Lucas was friends with Jim Henson and Frank Oz. He helped the first one with the filming and editing of “Labyrinth”, the second he took to voice the master Yoda. The original Dark Crystal was co-produced by Star Wars producer Gary Kertz.
However, the point is not only in the similar chronological world order of the franchises, but also in the fact that both of them use the idea of the dualism of all things. In Star Wars, she ran between the light and dark sides of the Force. But if George Lucas got most of the ideas for his saga from Joseph Campbell’s Thousand Faces, then Jim Henson from spiritualism and the esoteric writings of Jane Roberts, Materials of Set. The “dark crystal” is infinitely dual: everything is paired here. There is a race of Urskeks, divided into two: Skeksis and Urru (in the film and TV series they are called mystics). There are two opposing forces: gelflings and skexis. There are two princess sisters – good (Brea) and bad (Celadon), who foolishly side with evil.Even the sword, with which, in theory, you can defeat the skexis, is divided into two halves.
It is also symbolic that in the original film everything should end with the “Great Unification”, but we understand that this is a utopia, and the “Age of Resistance”, torn apart by contradictions and wars, is our reality. Therefore, despite the fact that “Dark Crystal” is a fantasy with inventive visuals and breathtaking scenes (in vain, after all, “Marvel” kicked Leterrier out of “Avengers” after the failure of “The Incredible Hulk”), is also a socially charged movie , extremely hot satire . Like any real art, the Netflix series puts a mirror not only in front of the hero, but also in front of the audience, so that they can recognize themselves with horror in the characters – either in eared gelflings, or in beak-winged skexis, or (which is more likely) in those who and others. As already mentioned, according to Henson, the universe is not binary, but dual, and this dualism is perhaps the best thing about the show. “And the world cracked in half, a rift smokes and blood is shed, there is a war between good and evil” – only this good and evil, in fact, are two sides of the same coin.

A series of so far 8 films (there are still those that went on TV and immediately on video), which grew out of the eponymous and very popular Jim Henson’s puppet show. A whole galaxy of Hollywood stars (and even the living Orson Welles!) Starred in “The Muppets”
A grandiose fantasy about the battle for the planet Tra, filmed on the wave of the success of “Star Wars” and scared the kids. Initially, the film had a longer prologue, and all the creatures spoke in an incomprehensible language (with subtitles). But after test impressions, this idea had to be abandoned.
A more compromise fantasy by Jim Henson, produced by George Lucas.Young Jennifer Connelly in a country like a maze rescues from the clutches of the goblin king Jareth (David Bowie), her little brother. There are a lot of wonderful creatures, and they also sing here.
A collection of gloomy Germanic, Celtic and even Russian fairy tales from Jim Henson. In total, nine episodes were released, and the Storyteller’s dog (John Hurt) was voiced by the showrunner’s son, Brian Henson. There’s also a Hellenic spin-off called Storyteller: Greek Myths.
Adaptation of Roald Dahl’s fairy tale, which follows the letter of the original only until the end, for which the writer anathematized the film. However, despite the non-canon ending, this is still an exciting movie about how witches turned children into mice (several models of rodents were made).
The very first and most glorious film about teenage mutant ninja turtles (then two more sequels were released). The second part is dedicated to the memory of Jim Henson, and from the films themselves, Henson’s dolls and jokes such as: “What is a pizza ninja? This is a pizza that disappears quickly and without a trace. ”
A prehistoric sitcom about a family of dinosaurs produced by Brian Henson, which was also shown on domestic television. In an allegorical form, stupidity is ridiculed, and a cruel denouement can even shock.
90,000 Saw, Shura, saw! The prequel to “The Twelve Chairs” was released
Text: Valery Kichin
Adventurous. Reckless. Recklessly. Impudently. Any of these dubious characteristics match the new version of Ostap Bender’s adventures, written by screenwriter Oleg Malovichko and director Igor Zaitsev – as I understand it, in theory and under the cheerful gaze of producer Alexander Tsekalo.
In style, the film “Bender: The Beginning” is as if “The Elusive Avengers” were combined with the American comedy western, parodied by by Alla Surikova in “The Man from Boulevard des Capuchins”. The hybrid turned out to be inevitably wild and exuberant, but it does not pretend to anything, except to frolic as much as we can.
He is a bit wild already because in “The Elusive” there was some romance of rebellion, in “Man …” a funny but enlightening idea, and even in the original book the authors, laughing, said goodbye to the past, still hoping for a vague future. And here the purely thuggish romance of natural-born thieves is not a film, but a continuous raspberry tree without distinct aspirations for anything other than commercial success. In this sense, Bender: The Beginning is the ideal child of our time.
The filmmakers proceeded from the simple assumption that the beloved national hero had an ancestor. And that Ostap learned something from him. Book Bender at his cheating master classes was recommended by the Turkish citizens and the son of Ibrahim Bey – the meeting of the novice swindler with Pope Ibrahim was the basis of the plot.
Bender Sr. plays Sergei Bezrukov with obvious pleasure, showing a wonderful taste for pop reincarnations-improvisations,
coupletist and melodeclamator of the 18-year-old Osyu Zadunaysky – 25-year-old Aram Vardevanian, who also cannot be denied artistry. Both form an excellent duet: they compete in sportiness, a refined sense of humor and charm.
In addition to the bifurcated Ostap, the film also features other personages borrowed from everywhere – allusions from the leader of the gang Mishka (Yaponchik?), Mendel (Scream?) To the specific coffin cases of master Bezenchuk and Trotsky, who exchange royal relics for American second hand weapons.A scattering of stars: in addition to Tsekalo himself, who played Bezenchuk, here Yulia Rutberg, Taisiya Vilkova, Olga Sutulova, Garik Kharlamov, Nikita Kologrivy , born to play the Mishka; in the next series of the newly-minted franchise they promise Pavel Derevyanko and Yuri Kolokolnikov .
There is, of course, the spicy Odessa flavor attributed to the city of Solnechnomorsk, and the girls from the saloon dancing like a cancan in the American way. Everyone willingly trumpets with slightly paraphrased quotations from “The Golden Calf” and “The Twelve Chairs” (“How much is Shakespeare for the people?”, Etc. )etc.). It turned out that the chronologically immortal phrases belong to the authors of the prequel, and Ilf and Petrov simply borrowed them. This, of course, may confuse other reviewers who have not heard about Ilf-Petrov and know about Ostap exclusively from Mark Zakharov and Andrei Mironov, but in fact, this is also not the worst joke of the picture. Everyone plays casually, recklessly and cheerfully, like yard football – which is worth a lot in today’s overly business-like cinema.
To shoot a prequel to the adventures of the most famous literary rogue in Russia is such a win-win idea that it’s even surprising how they didn’t think of it before, when the audience burst into this kind of spectacle. The authors unleash an avalanche of tricks into the hall, often witty and well, playfully executed, the dynamics of editing deserves both “Orlov” and “Nick”, the music of the composer Ryan Otter accompanies the events, slightly imitating the soundtracks of either Williams or Mancini. That is, the picture was made taking into account the conditioned reflexes of the young audience, easily responding to their favorite callsigns.
And seriously, I do not think that the novelty is inferior in attractiveness to the same “Elusive”, which once gathered a multi-million audience,
, and if it came out in those years, it might also be included in the number of items of nostalgia. Now the public is much more skeptical, and in relation to domestic cinema it is even more aggressive, and probably there will not be such a resounding success: the majority of viewers themselves do not already know what kind of trick they need, they are sure in advance that everything in the world is hack.
Search in an entertaining attraction film for signs of the historical era, accuracy in costumes, phraseology and entourage, few people would think. Comparing the new Ostap with the intellectual hero Sergei Yursky and the plastic character by Andrei Mironov is a completely meaningless occupation: the new interpretation refers to the classical ones, like the ballet Don Quixote to the novel by Cervantes. It would be silly to go deep into this not stupid film. As Mironov sang, “you will appreciate the beauty of the game,” – by now it’s not bad at all.
By the way
Speaking of Bendery who moved to the cinema, I did not mention Archil Gomiashvili , who played the main role in the eccentric farce by Leonid Gaidai “Twelve Chairs” (1971) and together with Andrei Mironov and Sergei Yursky formed the best trio incarnations of the image of the great combinator.
I think that the absolute majority of movie lovers will not remember Ostap, played very poorly by Oleg Menshikov in the disastrous film by Ulyana Shilkina “The Golden Calf” (2006).And they probably forgot Bender long ago in the guise of Sergei Krylov in Vasily Pichula’s film “Dreams of an Idiot” (1993) – also unsuccessful, despite the participation of Stanislav Lyubshin as Panikovsky, fundamental Andrey Smirnov as Koreiko and Evgeny Dvorzhetsky , who played Shura Balaganov.
And the very first in film history, Ostap appeared in the German film “13 Chairs” directed by E.W. Emo – so, it is indicated by initials in all sources.Bender, who became the barber Felix, was played by Heinz Ryumann . The second brave man who dared to retell the Russian novel in the language of cinema was the Swede Gösta Bernhardt , who shot the comedy “Seven Black Bras” (1945) with Dirch Passer as a young swindler Yest Nielsen , who learned from a cellmate about a brassiere hidden in one of the seven diamond. In the same 1945, Ostap crossed the ocean and appeared in the American comedy “Thing in the Hat” by Richard Wallace , where the owner of a flea circus Fred Flugl is looking for the notorious twelve chairs.
In 1957, there were thirteen chairs again – in the film by Franz Eichorn , filmed in Rio de Janeiro, coveted for Ostap. Bender got the sonorous name there Bonifacio Bonaventura .
The plot of “The Twelve Chairs” in the film of the same name by Cuban director Thomas Gutierrez Alea (1962) is fairly accurately conveyed, but Ostap was called Hipolito Garrigo there. Seven years later, he became Mario Beretti in the Italian-French film by Nicholas Gessner and Luciano Lucignani “12 + 1”, and was played by Vittorio Gassman himself, also starring Orson Welles, Mylene Demonjo and Sharon Tate .Red-tape, Don Juan and unmercenary Mario inherited thirteen half-rotten chairs and, having sold them one by one, learned that his main wealth sailed away with one of them.
In 1970, Czechoslovakia became interested in the history of the Russian rogue, and finally – the Golden Calf. This novel does not have such a simple anecdote storyline as “The Twelve Chairs”, and therefore is more difficult to translate into a movie. The heroes of the film by Jaroslav Makha “I will command the parade”, of course, acquired Czech names, a swindler named Kholish was played by Vladimir Menshik . But in the same 1970, the hero regained his real name and abroad: he again became Ostap Bender in “The Twelve Chairs” – an early comedy Mel Brooks , one of the most famous Hollywood comedians, author of “Young Frankenstein”, “Producers” and “Fear of heights”. Ostap played there Frank Langella , Vorobyaninov – Ron Moody , Fyodor’s father – House Deluze . The picture turned out to be moderately funny.

The first trailer of the series “Policeman from Rublyovka” has appeared
18:52, 31.03.2021
The project starts on the TNT channel on April 12.
The project “Policeman from Rublyovka” has been one of the most popular domestic TV series since 2016. After the unequivocal success of the serial comedy, the director and scriptwriter of the project Ilya Kulikov shot two full-length films with the characters already beloved by the viewer. However, the filmmaker did not stop there – in 2019, work began on the pilot episode of the prequel to the series. Kulikov’s new project was named “Policeman from Rublyovka”.
The first trailer of the project has appeared today. The series starts on April 12 on TNT. This time, the plot will be centered on Volodya Yakovlev, whose role in the first part of the comedy was played by Sergei Burunov. In the new series, which will tell the story of the formation of his senior colleague Grisha Izmailov, the young Yakovlev will be played by Artem Suchkov, remembered by the audience for the projects “Gogol” and “Chernobyl. Exclusion Zone”. The action of the comedy takes place in the 90s, when the main character just graduates from the high school of the police and goes to work for Rublyovka.

In the service, Volodya meets the investigator Gudkova, with whom he eventually gets involved in several strange cases. So, colleagues are trying to find a pirate group that is filming the sequels of the famous militants, and are also looking for a suitcase with MMM tickets. It was during the first work shifts that Yakovlev began to take bribes and replenish his vocabulary with characteristic words and phrases. In addition, the hero develops fears that continue to torment him until the events of 2016.
Ilya Kulikov wanted to emphasize the characteristic atmosphere of the 90s. In the series, you can see references, news stories, as well as videos from the archives of those times. However, the creator of “Policeman from Rublyovka” emphasized that, within the framework of his comedy, he sought to significantly brighten up the dark era. “We have collected all the absurdity of the era and threw a veil of fabulousness on it, making a world in which nothing bad can happen,” said Kulikov.
Shot from the series “Policeman from Rublyovka”
Let us recall that in 2019 Alexander Petrov, who played Grisha Izmailov, left the project “Policeman from Rublyovka”. The actor explained his decision by the desire to move on in the creative field. At the same time, the artist noted that no scandals accompanied his departure. According to Alexander, he still treats his former colleagues on the set with great love. Later, Sergei Burunov spoke about Petrov’s refusal to continue filming in the series. The artist noted that the actors do not like to discuss the reasons why such situations occur. Burunov expressed the hope that in the future he will be able to work with Alexander again, and also assured that “Policeman from Rublyovka” will continue to delight the audience with good humor and without Petrov’s participation.
It should be added that Burunov and Petrov maintained friendly relations even after one of the actors left the project. So, at the beginning of this month, Alexander congratulated Sergey on his birthday. In honor of the 44th anniversary of the artist, his former colleague published his own poems dedicated to Burunov on his Instagram microblog. Among other things, in the quatrains, Petrov called Sergei a genius, kind, and also talented person.

Any spin-offs will have to wait until the end of the last season of Game of Thrones, which is scheduled for 2019
HBO has announced that Game of Thrones may soon receive a prequel – one of five planned spin-offs to the series.
Writer George Martin co-wrote the new series with screenwriter Jane Goldman.
It will take place thousands of years before the events in the original “Game of Thrones”.
HBO has already ordered a pilot for a new, as yet unnamed series.
Producers say none of the spin-offs will hit screens until the end of Game of Thrones’ final season in 2019.
If the plan is successful, the prequel will tell how the world slipped from the Age of Heroes to its dark times.”From the gruesome mysteries of Westeros history to the true origins of the White Walkers, the secrets of the East and the legendary Starks,” HBO said in a press release.
Game of Thrones is the most watched HBO series so far. It has won several Emmy awards and has attracted tens of millions of viewers around the world.
Previously, the media suggested that HBO is ready to invest up to $ 50 million in each season of each of the new scheduled shows.
According to HBO Program Director Casey Blois, the new series will not continue the storylines of the original Game of Thrones.
Then what will they be about?
Attention : spoiler s !
Era of Heroes?

HBO says that the prequel could begin in the “golden age of heroes” – thousands of years before the events of “Game of Thrones”.
Don’t expect any of the characters from the original series to be there. But who can appear there – it’s their ancestors.
Namely Brandon Stark, or Bran the Builder, founder of House Starks, or Lann the Clever, founder of House Lannister – the two central families in Game of Thrones.
White Walkers?

“The true origins of the White Walkers” – blue-eyed humanoids who represent perhaps the biggest threat in the original series, could be another theme of the prequel.
These creatures were defeated by the Children of the Forest and the First Men a thousand years before the events in the books by George Martin that inspired the series.
Is it possible that the prequel will tell about this ancient war? Or about creating the Wall, a barrier that stretches across Westeros to protect the continent from the White Walkers?

In the Age of Heroes, House Stark decided to unite the North under one king.
And they had enemies – the house of the Boltons, who fought with Stark and even removed the skin from their men and wore it on themselves.
Will the ancestors of Ned Stark and Ramsey Bolton fight in the Game of Thrones prequel?
The fate of the series “The Lord of the Rings” has become clear
The premiere date of the first season of the large-scale series “The Lord of the Rings” streaming service Amazon Prime has not yet been announced – it is only known that filming is scheduled to begin in 2020. Amazon, which has planned several seasons of the series at once, even before the start of full-scale work on the first season, announced its renewal.

The Lord of the Rings series will be filmed in New Zealand – preparatory work is currently underway. The filming period will begin in 2020 and will last for several months. According to the publication Deadline, it is possible that after filming the first and second episodes of the first season, the project team will take a break – this will allow a more detailed study of the final result and, if necessary, make adjustments. It can be assumed that the early extension of the series for the second season also implies the beginning of work on the sequel, that is, some episodes from the second will fit in the shooting period of the first season.
Trailer of the movie “The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring”
The first season of the series will be the prequel to “The Hobbit” and “The Lord of the Rings” – its events will unfold in a time period called by Tolkien “The Second Age”, spanning almost 3. 5 thousand years. This era began with the expulsion of the first Dark Lord Melkor (also known as Morgoth Bauglir – the personification of Darkness) by the Valar (god). The end of the “Second Age” marks the victory of the Last Alliance of Elves and Men over Sauron – the moment when one of the kings of the people, Isildur, cuts off his finger and takes the Ring of Omnipotence. It was at the time of the formation of Sauron that the island of Numenor existed (it can be found on a map published on the Web) – so fans suggested that the events of the first season would unfold in the “Second Age”. Rumor has it that the lead role in the first season of The Lord of the Rings will be played by Will Poulter, known for films such as Solstice, We Are the Millers, The Maze Runner and others.

In the fall of 2017, streaming service Amazon Prime announced the purchase of the rights to the series based on The Lord of the Rings, the most famous work of John Ronald Ruel Tolkien. One of the conditions of the multimillion-dollar agreement (according to rumors, the rights cost $ 250 million), signed by Tolkien Estate and Amazon, is the requirement to start filming no later than two years later. That is, work will begin in 2019. In this case, according to the head of Amazon Studios Jennifer Salke, the series can be expected to premiere in 2021.
