The history of second-hand clothing, as the sale of second-hand goods, begins about 70 years ago. Residents of developed countries such as Great Britain, Holland, Ireland, etc.
have a wonderful habit, and most importantly, the opportunity to change their wardrobe every season. And practical Europeans donate their clothes, and not only clothes, but also accessories, interior items, household appliances to specialized stores, from where second-hand clothes and everything else goes to factories, where they are sorted and treated with steam and disinfectant gas.
There is no single system for designating and classifying second-hand clothing in the world, but the most commonly used types of categories can be noted:
STOCK – new clothes or shoes .
LUX, EXTRA – clothes with a minimum percentage of wear (almost new).
The first category is not torn, not dirty, with a small percentage of wear.
Second category – often come across things that are not suitable for sale.
Third category – rags, rags (if cotton – suitable for sale in a car service, car washes, etc.
)
So, actually, what I wrote all this for … beautiful rags, jewelry, shoes. Many of my items and accessories are my own. Something connected by me for my beloved, with all my heart and diligence. I bought something with great pleasure at exhibitions, in art salons and various showrooms.
You adore these things, you wear them with pleasure… As a rule, these things are of very high quality, they do not lose their appearance, form, or relevance. But!!! They get bored with time. I think you will agree with this.
Example: I have a vest. Knitted from Italian wool. I’ve been wearing it occasionally for three seasons now. Comfortable, practical and nothing is done to her, like new. But fed up. It’s a pity to tie. Put up for sale in the store, like a new one, the hand does not rise and the conscience torments, although I see that some craftsmen sin by selling used items (but let them agree with themselves …)
So, what do you think, is it possible to create a group or section at the Craftsmen’s Fair where you can exchange, sell and buy inexpensively such EXTRA second-hand-made – jewelry, clothes, bags, etc.
