Daniel Hincks Transferring to Georgetown – Lacrosse Bucket
Published on by Tanner Demling

Former Dartmouth goalie Daniel Hincks has confirmed to Lacrosse Bucket that he will be heading to Georgetown as a grad transfer for the 2023 college lacrosse season.
A four-year stater, Hincks has been tasked with being the primary anchor of the Big Green’s defense since his freshman season in 2019.
Hincks has proved to be one of the more reliable goalies in college lacrosse throughout his time in Hanover, making 140 saves with a 54% save percentage as a freshman and ending the year with the 21st-best save percentage in the nation and being one of just three freshman in the top-25 in that category. He then built on that during the shortened 2020 season with 54 saves and a 62% save percentage. And in the Big Green’s lone game in 2021, the lengthy shot-stopper made 19 saves with a 57% save percentage against DIII power Tufts.
The 6-foot-5, 210-pound Hincks continued to be a great green wall for Dartmouth lacrosse this past season, making 168 saves with a 52% save percentage while helping lead the Big Green to their best season during his time with the program (4-6, 0-6 Ivy League).
At Georgetown, Hincks joins a program that has won three consecutive Big East titles and will be looking for a fourth this week.
