Legend SR’s Exceptionally Stiff Sidewalls Prevent Whip and Torque
One of the standout features of the Stringking Legend SR that really allows it to excel is its incredibly stiff sidewall design. Rather than using a more flexible sidewall material like many other brands, Stringking constructed the Legend SR with an exceptionally rigid sidewall that completely eliminates any whip or torque during play.
This rigid sidewall gives the Legend SR by far the stiffest scoop and sidewalls available today. When you cradle and pass with the Legend SR, you can feel that the head shape stays completely consistent, with no unwanted flex or movement. Many players report that this makes a noticeable improvement in their passing accuracy and ball control compared to more flexible heads.
By removing any wiggle from the sidewalls, Stringking has created a head that allows you to place shots exactly where you want. When you wind up and shoot with the Legend SR, you can trust that the head shape will stay completely stiff, rather than flexing open and sending your shot astray. This precise consistency lends itself extremely well to the needs of elite offensive players who need to hit tight windows in the net.
In addition to benefiting shooting accuracy, the Legend SR’s stiff sidewalls also excel at ground balls. The solid scoop and sidewalls allow you to clamp down on ground balls with confidence and gain full control. Whereas more flexible scoops can allow ground balls to pop out, the Legend SR’s scoop keeps its shape and securely traps the ball every time. Its lightweight feel combined with exceptional stiffness makes it one of the very best heads for ground ball control.
So in summary, the Legend SR truly stands out from other lacrosse heads due to its rigid sidewall design that eliminates flex, whip, and torque. This stiff construction allows for pinpoint passing, shooting accuracy, and supreme ball control. If you’re looking for a head with exceptional stiffness that will stand up to elite-level play, the Legend SR by Stringking is an excellent choice.
The Legend SR’s Wide Scoop Makes Ground Balls Easier
One of the key aspects that makes the Stringking Legend SR such an exceptional lacrosse head for ground balls is its strategically shaped wide scoop.
Rather than using a narrow scoop like many competitor brands, Stringking designed the Legend SR with a scoop that flares out wider. This shaping allows you to get under ground balls easier, while also channeling the ball into the pocket with less effort required.
The scoop itself is made incredibly stiff, which prevents it from flexing when you clamp down on ground balls. Its flat shape and angled design is optimized to dig under ground balls, while the wider flare helps funnel balls directly into your stick.
Since ground balls are such a critical part of today’s fast-paced lacrosse game, having a head like the Legend SR that excels at ground ball play is a huge advantage. Its scoop allows you to acquire balls with more consistency, beating out defenders who use heads with narrower scoops.
In addition to ground balls, the Legend SR’s wide scoop also makes picking up loose balls much simpler. When running drills or warming up before a game, you’ll notice how easy it is to quickly scoop up balls off the turf and transition into passing or shooting right away.
The scoop’s smooth design reduces friction, allowing the ball to slide directly into the pocket with minimal effort. Once the ball reaches the pocket, the Legend SR’s optimal pocket shape and stiff sidewalls help retain possession smoothly.
Whether it’s ground balls, loose balls, or errant passes, the Legend SR gives you a major advantage. Its lightweight feel combined with its sturdy wide scoop allow you to gain possession more reliably. For midfielders or attackmen who rely on winning ground balls and quickly transitioning into offense, the capabilities of the Legend SR are extremely valuable.
In summary, the Legend SR stands out with its uniquely shaped wide scoop that makes ground balls much easier compared to most lacrosse heads. This gives you an edge in gaining possession off ground balls, picks ups, and passes in today’s fast-transition game.
The Legend SR’s Minimal Flex Allows Precise Passing and Shooting
One of the key benefits of the Stringking Legend SR lacrosse head is its minimal flex, which allows for enhanced passing and shooting accuracy.
Rather than using flexible materials, Stringking designed the Legend SR with an exceptionally stiff Scoop, sidewalls, and throat. This creates a head with very minimal flex, unlike traditional heads that tend to torque and warp during play.
By removing excess flex, the Legend SR maintains its precise head shape regardless of how you cradle, pass, or shoot. When you pass with the Legend SR, you’ll notice the ball comes off the pocket with a very consistent release, leading to excellent passing precision.
Similarly, the minimal flex is a huge benefit for shooting accuracy. When you wind up for a shot, you can trust that the head shape will stay completely consistent. This allows you to place shots exactly where intended, rather than having the head flex open and send shots astray.
The Legend SR’s minimal flex is particularly beneficial for skip passes, quick sticks, and other types of passes requiring pinpoint accuracy. The head shape stays perfectly in place, allowing elite players to thread needles through the defense right into a teammate’s pocket.
For midfielders or attackmen who operate out of tight spaces, the Legend SR provides a precise consistent release that facilitates accuracy. You can make split-second passes through traffic knowing the head won’t flex and risk turning the ball over.
On shots, the Legend SR promotes accuracy by removing any variables caused by head flex. When you shoot with the Legend SR, what you see is what you get – a head shape that stays completely stiff. This allows you to deliberately place shots into corners with a high degree of proficiency.
In summary, the Stringking Legend SR stands out by virtue of its minimal flex, a property that enhances passing and shooting performance. The stiff construction maintains the precise head shape, facilitating pinpoint ball control demanded by elite players.
The Legend SR Features Lightweight Yet Extremely Durable Construction
An important aspect that makes the Stringking Legend SR stand out is its lightweight yet highly durable construction.
Rather than using bulky materials, Stringking engineered the Legend SR with a streamlined design to remove excess weight. This results in an exceptionally lightweight head given its high-performance capabilities.
At just 5 ounces strung, the Legend SR is one of the lightest elite-level sticks available. Its sleek profile makes it easy to maneuver, ideal for quick stick passes, fast breaks, and operating in tight spaces.
Despite its lightweight build, the Legend SR does not sacrifice any durability. It utilizes stiff materials in the sidewalls, throat, and scoop to retain its structure over time. Players report the Legend SR lasting seasons before needing to be replaced.
The combination of ultra-lightweight feel and maximum durability gives players the best of both worlds. You gain the quick handling and speedy feel of a lightweight stick, along with the longevity and structural integrity of a high-end head.
For midfielders who are constantly sprinting up and down the field, the Legend SR’s lightweight build helps reduce fatigue over the course of a game. The easy maneuverability also suits the needs of attackmen who are regularly dodging defenders in tight spaces near the crease.
Despite its lightweight design, the Legend SR maintains tremendous stiffness for superior ball control. So you don’t give up any ball control or passing/shooting accuracy in order to gain the lightweight advantages.
In summary, the Legend SR is truly unique in its ability to deliver professional-grade performance in an ultra-lightweight package. It achieves the ideal blend of minimized mass, uncompromising stiffness, and maximum durability. For players who want it all, the Legend SR is an excellent choice.
The Legend SR is Designed for Elite Offensive Players
The Stringking Legend SR lacrosse head is optimized specifically for elite offensive players who want to maximize their ball control and shooting accuracy.
With its exceptionally stiff sidewalls and scoop, minimized flex, and strategically shaped design, the Legend SR provides the precision and consistency needed for next-level offensive performance.
For attackmen who operate around the crease and shoot in tight windows, the Legend SR’s abilities are extremely valuable. The head shape remains perfectly consistent during shooting, allowing you to deliberately place shots into corners.
In addition, the minimal flex promotes pinpoint passing accuracy. When working in tight quarters around the net, you can trust the Legend SR to fire crisp, accurate passes to open cutters or players coming off picks.
The lightweight feel and narrow channel help attackmen maneuver their sticks quickly in traffic near the goal. By removing excess weight, Stringking created a head with quick reflexes to make split-second shot attempts off feeds.
For midfielders, the Legend SR excels during broken clears and transition play thanks to its ground ball and ball retention capabilities. After scooping a key ground ball, you can push the pace knowing the Legend SR will retain possession while sprinting upfield.
The Legend SR also suits midfielders because of its versatility to be both an exceptional shooting and passing head. You get the accuracy needed to finish off the dodge, along with the precision to hit cutters in stride for assists.
across the board, the Legend SR provides elite offensive players with the tools they need most. The stiff consistency promotes shooting accuracy, the lightweight feel allows quick stick maneuvers, and the minimal flex enhances precise passing.
For high school, college, and pro players looking to take their offensive game to the next level, the Stringking Legend SR is an excellent lacrosse head option. Its construction is optimized for unmatched ball control, shooting precision, and confident offensive play.
The Legend SR’s Narrow Channel Improves Ball Retention
A key aspect of the Stringking Legend SR that allows for excellent ball control is its strategically designed narrow channel.
Rather than using a wide open channel, Stringking engineered the Legend SR with a narrower channel that improves ball retention within the head.
The more closed-in channel essentially cradles the ball, allowing much better ball security, especially during fakes and change of direction. This helps prevent the ball from rattling around excessively or popping out on hard cuts.
In addition, the narrowed channel really locks in the ball on passes and shots. When passing with the Legend SR, the ball sits snugly in the channel, creating a very consistent release point out of the pocket.
On shots, the narrowed channel secures the ball in the pocket, allowing you to wind up and create maximum velocity. Other heads with wide open channels can’t grip the ball as tightly during shooting, costing you power.
For players who carry the ball in traffic a lot such as attackmen or initiating midfielders, the Legend SR’s narrowed channel is hugely beneficial. It allows you to slash through the defense with confidence, knowing the ball will stay locked in during contact.
The channel works hand-in-hand with the Legend SR’s strategically shaped scoop to quickly guide ground balls into the pocket and secure possession. Once the ball reaches the channel, the tightened design retains possession smoothly.
During cradling, the Legend SR feels snappy and responsive thanks to the dialed-in channel width. You can run at full speed while cradling and maintain complete control over the ball.
In summary, the narrowed channel is one of the many smart design elements that allow the Stringking Legend SR to deliver elite-level ball control. By optimizing the channel width, Stringking created a head that craddles and retains the ball exceptionally well through all facets of play.
The Legend SR Comes Strung with an Ideal Pocket Depth
One of the great benefits of the Stringking Legend SR is that it comes pre-strung with an optimal pocket depth right out of the box.
Rather than requiring extensive adjustment like most heads, the Legend SR’s mid-low pocket is strategically strung at the factory. This removes the hassle of restringing and allows you to use the head at peak performance immediately.
The pre-strung pocket has a smooth, consistent structure with a mid-low pocket depth. It sits low enough in the head to provide excellent ball retention, but not too deep to hinder quick releases.
This goldilocks pocket depth is ideal for both passing and shooting needs. On passes, the pocket facilitates smooth, consistent releases needed for pinpoint ball placement. On shots, it holds the ball securely while still allowing you to generate maximum velocity.
In addition to the ideal depth, the pre-strung mesh has a great smoothness that improves ball handling. The ball sits calmly in the pocket, rather than rattling around excessively. This allows superior control during fakes, rolls, and change of direction.
Since Stringking designed the Legend SR specifically with this pocket in mind, the head shape and sidewall stiffness complement the pocket beautifully right out of the box. Everything works synergistically to take your game to the next level.
For players who dread spending hours restringing a tricky pocket from scratch, the Legend SR is a breath of fresh air. Its optimal pre-strung pocket removes guesswork and provides an elite-level stick immediately ready for game play.
While the pocket is pre-strung excellently, players can still customize it over time to suit their preferences. But the factory stringing provides an ideal starting point that most players never need to adjust.
In summary, the Legend SR’s pre-strung pocket is a huge time-saving convenience that also optimizes performance. By removing pocket struggles, Stringking allows you to spend more time developing your skills rather than wrestling with stringing.
The Legend SR Excels at Faceoffs and Transition Play
One of the key strengths of the Stringking Legend SR is its ability to excel at faceoffs and transition play, making it an ideal head for faceoff specialists and two-way midfielders.
Right off the whistle, the Legend SR’s wide flare and stiff scoop allow you to get under the ball reliably to gain initial possession. Its lightweight feel lets you maneuver quickly to win the clamp battle off the faceoff.
Once you’ve secured the ball, the Legend SR’s open sidewall design facilitates quickly pushing the ball out on fast breaks. The smooth scoop makes it easy to rake or top clamp balls out of the scrum into your stick.
In transition, the Legend SR really shines thanks to its excellent ball retention capabilities. Its narrowed channel, optimal pocket, and minimal flex keep the ball locked in your stick when sprinting upfield at full speed through traffic.
This allows you to gain possession off the faceoff then immediately push transition. You can outrun defenders in single coverage because the Legend SR hangs onto ground balls so well, even through checks and contact.
In addition to excelling off faceoffs, the Legend SR is also great for ground ball play at any point in a possession. Its sturdy scoop and lightweight body allow you to scrap it out with confidence to gain control of 50/50 balls.
Once in your stick, the Legend SR continues facilitating your transition game thanks to its pinpoint passing accuracy and ability to retain the ball through contact.
So whether it’s directly off the faceoff or just picking up a ground ball at any time, the Legend SR gives you the tools to excel in both acquiring the ball and pushing transition.
For faceoff specialists, two-way middies, and short stick d-middies, the Legend SR is an exceptional head optimized for securing ground balls and igniting fast breaks.

This premium mesh combines consistently diamond shaped string holes with three reinforcing nylon strips. The result is mesh that provides the perfect blend of hold, release, and responsiveness.
The diamond shape gives the mesh excellent consistency for smooth, even pocket feel. When cradling, passing, or shooting, you can trust the Stringking mesh to perform reliably every time.
The three straps refine the mesh flexibility to complement the Legend SR head shape beautifully. It gives the pocket just the right amount of break-in while retaining its structure over time.

Since the mesh comes pre-installed, you get premium performance right out of the box. The pocket is already perfectly broken-in and optimized to match the Legend SR’s capabilities.
While aftermarket mesh certainly works, the factory Stringking mesh takes guesswork out of stringing to provide excellence immediately. The coordinated head and mesh minimizes setup time.
For players who have come to love the consistency and feel of Stringking mesh, having it pre-installed on the Legend SR is a major advantage. The high quality mesh complements the premium head construction perfectly.
In summary, the Legend SR’s pre-strung Stringking mesh facilitates incredible responsiveness and control. It synergizes with the head shape ideally to deliver elite-level ball control and feel.

The Legend SR’s Stiff Sidewalls Prevent Whip and Torque
One of the standout qualities that allows the Stringking Legend SR to deliver elite performance is its rigid sidewall construction that eliminates whip and torque.
Rather than flexible sidewalls that distort during play, the Legend SR utilizes an exceptionally stiff sidewall material that retains its precise shape through all motions.
This rigid sidewall construction maintains the exact head dimensions regardless of how you cradle, pass, or shoot the ball. It removes any unwanted flex or wiggle.
By keeping the sidewalls stiff, Stringking ensured the Legend SR would provide consistent precision needed for accurate passing and shooting. You can place the ball deliberately without any variability caused by sidewall distortion.
In addition, the stiff sidewalls allow you to achieve much greater ball control while cradling at full speed. Rather than the head whipping back and forth uncontrollably, the Legend SR retains its shape for enhanced command of the ball.
For absorbing checks, the rigid sidewalls also excel. They allow you to withstand contact without losing possession, since the head won’t flex open when slapped. This allows midfielders and attackmen to retain the ball through traffic.
At the faceoff draw, the stiff sidewalls give you more control when clamping down on a ground ball. And on shots, the Legend SR won’t torque open off-center, resulting in more accurate shooting.
By focusing intently on sidewall stiffness, Stringking removed any lack of control caused by distortion. The resulting Legend SR provides the consistency needed to reach the next level.
In summary, the exceptionally stiff sidewalls set the Legend SR apart by eliminating flex, whip, and torque. This facilitates precise passing, pinpoint shooting, and enhanced cradling control demanded by elite players.
