Good luck trying to pry the ball from Gamma’s stick. The shifty midfielder has Vise-Grip strength and uses his lacrosse IQ to keep his body between defenders and the ball.

“I take a lot of pride in being a complete offensive threat,” Gamma noted. “I look to feed first, but I can also dodge and score when the defense gives me room.”

Gamma focused this offseason on increasing his shooting range and accuracy. While he’ll still look to distribute first, Gamma will more aggressively look for his own shot this year.

“I don’t need to force anything because we have so many weapons,” he said. “But I worked hard to become more of a scoring threat to keep defenses honest.”

With his refined shooting skills and court vision, Gamma should pile up even more assists while likely doubling his goal total this spring.

“We incorporate sticks into their conditioning to mimic in-game movements,” Rho noted. “That allows us to train proper technique even when guys are fatigued.”
