The Evolution of Brine Mantra Lacrosse Heads
The Brine Mantra series has been a game-changer in women’s lacrosse, with each iteration bringing new innovations to the field. The Mantra 3 builds upon the success of its predecessors, offering enhanced performance and control for players of all positions.
From Mantra to Mantra 3: A Brief History
Brine has continuously refined the Mantra series, incorporating player feedback and technological advancements. The Mantra 3 represents the culmination of years of research and development, designed to meet the evolving needs of modern lacrosse players.
Cutting-Edge Technology in the Brine Mantra 3
The Mantra 3 incorporates several innovative features that set it apart from other lacrosse heads on the market. These technological advancements contribute to improved performance and player experience.
Vari-Flex Technology: Adapting to Your Game
One of the standout features of the Mantra 3 is its patented Vari-Flex technology. This innovation involves the strategic insertion of stiffer materials into key sections of the head, allowing for precise control over flex. How does this benefit players? The controlled flex provides optimal balance and performance across various weather conditions, ensuring consistent play regardless of temperature.
Grid Flex X Pocket: Enhancing Ball Control
The Mantra 3 introduces the new Grid Flex X pocket, a design that flexes with the ball to create a consistent channel throughout the entire head. This feature significantly improves ball retention and control, giving players a competitive edge during crucial moments of the game.
Design Features for Improved Performance
Beyond its technological innovations, the Brine Mantra 3 boasts several design elements that contribute to its superior performance on the field.
Mirror-Tech: Lightweight Strength
The Mirror-Tech design along the bottom rail of the Mantra 3 serves a dual purpose. It reduces the overall weight of the head while maintaining its structural integrity. How does this benefit players? The lightweight design allows for quicker movements and reduced fatigue during extended play, without sacrificing durability.
TruOffset Design: Deeper Pocket Feel
The TruOffset feature lowers the sidewall below the centerline of the shaft, creating a deeper pocket feel. This design choice enhances ball control and provides players with a more natural and comfortable grip during play.
Versatility Across Positions
While many lacrosse heads are designed for specific positions, the Brine Mantra 3 offers versatility that makes it suitable for various roles on the field.
Midfield Excellence
The Mantra 3’s balanced design makes it particularly well-suited for midfield players. Its combination of control and maneuverability allows for smooth transitions between offense and defense, making it an ideal choice for players who need to excel in multiple aspects of the game.
Defensive Capabilities
Despite its versatility, the Mantra 3 doesn’t compromise on defensive performance. Its sturdy construction and controlled flex provide the necessary strength for defensive plays, making it a reliable choice for defenders looking to challenge opponents and force turnovers.
Customization and Stringing Options
The Brine Mantra 3 offers players the flexibility to customize their lacrosse experience through various stringing options and pocket configurations.
Pre-Strung vs. Unstrung
Players can choose between pre-strung and unstrung versions of the Mantra 3. The pre-strung option provides immediate playability, while the unstrung version allows for personalized pocket setup. Which option is best for you? It depends on your experience level and preference for customization.
Pocket Styles and Materials
The Mantra 3 is compatible with various pocket styles and stringing materials, allowing players to fine-tune their stick to match their playing style. From traditional pockets to mesh options, the possibilities for customization are extensive.
Compliance with Regulations
In competitive play, it’s crucial that equipment meets official specifications. The Brine Mantra 3 is designed with these regulations in mind.
US Lacrosse Specifications
The Mantra 3 meets all US Lacrosse specifications, ensuring that it’s legal for use in official competitions. This compliance gives players peace of mind, knowing their equipment won’t be subject to penalties or disqualification.
Adaptability to Rule Changes
As lacrosse rules evolve, equipment manufacturers must adapt. Brine has designed the Mantra 3 with future-proofing in mind, ensuring that it can accommodate potential rule changes without becoming obsolete.
Comparative Analysis: Mantra 3 vs. Competitors
To truly appreciate the Brine Mantra 3, it’s helpful to compare it to other popular lacrosse heads on the market.
Mantra 3 vs. STX Crux 600
Both the Mantra 3 and the STX Crux 600 are popular choices for women’s lacrosse players. While the Crux 600 is known for its stiffness and durability, the Mantra 3 offers a more balanced approach with its Vari-Flex technology. Which is better? It largely depends on personal preference and playing style.
Mantra 3 vs. Under Armour Regime
The Under Armour Regime is another competitor in the high-performance lacrosse head market. While both heads offer excellent control and versatility, the Mantra 3’s Grid Flex X pocket may provide a slight edge in ball retention for some players.
Player Feedback and Reviews
Real-world experience from players provides valuable insight into the performance and reliability of the Brine Mantra 3.
Positive Experiences
Many players praise the Mantra 3 for its versatility and consistent performance across different weather conditions. The lightweight design and improved ball control are frequently mentioned as standout features.
Areas for Improvement
Some players have noted that the Mantra 3 may require a break-in period to achieve optimal performance. Additionally, a few users have expressed a desire for more color options to match team uniforms.

The role of mantras in healing from diseases
Mantras are euphonious words that are used in traditional medicine to achieve mental and physical health. They can help in the fight against diseases, as they have a positive effect on the human psyche and immune system.
Mantras can, by their sound and rhythm, calm the nervous system and increase the energy level in the body, which ultimately promotes healing. Chanting a mantra, a person directs his thoughts to healing, which activates the body’s defense mechanisms.
- For example, the mantra “Om Namah Shivaya” leads to an improvement in mental health, allows you to cope with nervous disorders and emotional stress.
- Mantra “Om Shanti” helps in the fight against insomnia and arthritis, and also improves the condition of the cardiovascular system.
However, in order to achieve results, it is necessary to choose the right mantra for a particular case and consistently repeat it for a long time. Regular repetition of the mantra will help maintain and strengthen the immune system, which contributes to a quick recovery and prevents diseases from developing in the body.
Thus, mantras are a powerful tool in the fight against diseases and the restoration of human health. They are able to help in solving various problems, including physical and psychological.

Choosing a Mantra for Health and Healing
A mantra is a word, phrase, sound, or symbol that is repeated many times to achieve certain goals. Mantras can be used for meditation, concentration, calming the mind and spiritual growth. However, our focus today will be on choosing a mantra for health and healing.
In addition, you must choose the mantra that you are currently tuning in to. Mantras work only when a person is completely focused on repeating her sounds or words. Therefore, you should not choose a mantra that is difficult to pronounce or that cannot be tuned in today. Choose what really works for you and repeat it as often as possible.
Remember that the mantra should bring peace to you. It should help you focus and forget about your problems and illnesses. The more you repeat the mantra, the more it will work for you. You can use mantras as part of your daytime meditation, or on the eve of bedtime, to increase your faith in the healing of illness and improve your health.
- To summarize: choosing a mantra for health and healing is an individual process that requires careful analysis of one’s condition and one’s needs, as well as focus and faith in the mantra. It is necessary to choose mantras that help in the treatment of the disease that you are suffering from and for which you are tuned in at the moment.
Correct pronunciation of mantras: techniques and recommendations
Mantras are special words, sounds, phrases or prayers that are used for meditation, to achieve spiritual or physical goals. The correct pronunciation of mantras is very important, as it not only helps to find peace of mind, but also can affect the physiology of the body.
The technique of pronunciation of mantras consists in slow, deep and rhythmic repetition of certain sounds, words and phrases. They may be accompanied by breathing, mantraling, or light elements.
In order to pronounce mantras correctly, you need to:
- Choose a mantra that suits you and your goals;

- Begin by inhaling slowly through the nose and focusing attention on the sound of the mantra;
- Breathe out deeply when you say the mantra;

How often and at what time is it better to repeat mantras
Mantras are a tool that helps us gain health and healing from diseases. However, in order for them to act on our body, they must be repeated regularly.
How often should mantras be repeated? The optimal number of repetitions depends on the specific mantra and on what goal we are pursuing. In some cases, it is enough to repeat the mantra once a day, in other cases, you need to repeat it several times a day.
In addition, it should be borne in mind that it is better to chant mantras in a quiet and peaceful place so that we can fully concentrate and focus on prayer. The ideal time to chant mantras is early in the morning, when we have not yet begun to do our business and we have the opportunity to be alone with ourselves. You can also repeat the mantras in the evening, before going to bed.
Which mantra to choose and how often to repeat it is up to you. It is important to remember that mantras must be repeated regularly and persistently so that they can act on our psyche and body.
Combining mantras with other therapies
Mantras are effective in promoting mental health, but in most cases their use should be combined with other therapies. Combining mantras with traditional healing methods can increase their effectiveness and speed up the healing process.
One way to combine mantras with other therapies is to use them as complementary therapy. For example, a patient may use the mantra along with their medications to speed up the healing process. As a complementary therapy, mantras can help relieve stress and tension that can slow down the healing process.
Another way to combine mantras with other therapies is to combine them with traditional therapies such as surgical procedures and exercise. For example, using a mantra before surgery can help reduce the stress and pain associated with the procedure. It is also suggested that the use of the mantra during exercise can increase its effectiveness.
- Combining mantras with other therapies may also include:
- Regular meditation combined with alternative medicine.
- Use of mantras as complementary therapy for chronic diseases.
- Combining mantras with physiotherapy and massage techniques to improve overall health.
In general, combining mantras with other therapies can be a very effective way of achieving overall health and healing of body and spirit. However, before using mantras in combination with other therapies, it is necessary to consult a specialist to evaluate the potential benefits and risks.
Contraindications and restrictions for the use of mantras
Certain pathologies
The use of mantras can be dangerous for people with certain diseases. For example, symptoms of depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and other mental illnesses can increase due to energy activation.
For people with heart problems, the use of mantras can be dangerous, especially if they suffer from high blood pressure, as mantras can increase it even more.
Individual intolerance
If a person experiences discomfort or pain during the use of mantras, this may be due to an individual intolerance to this method.
Also, mantras can cause a negative reaction in people with some allergic reactions, so you need to make sure that the person is not allergic.
Previous traumas
People with previous traumas, especially those related to the brain, may experience additional trouble when using mantras.
Mantras can trigger past traumas, which can cause painful memories and lasting stress.
Strong emotions
The use of mantras, especially those associated with certain emotions, can be dangerous for people who often experience strong emotions.
This may be because mantras can heighten these emotions and lead to additional stress and anxiety.
Mantra use for children and the elderly
Mantras are ancient prayers that are repeated in order to achieve a specific goal. They have great power and help not only to attract well-being and good luck, but also to recover from various ailments. Many people, including children and the elderly, use mantras to improve their health and get rid of diseases.
However, when using mantras for children and the elderly, a number of features should be taken into account. Firstly, mantras should be selected taking into account age characteristics and health status. Some prayers may be too difficult or require a lot of effort, which can be harmful to health. Therefore, it is worth seeking help from a specialist who will help you choose the most suitable mantras for a particular case.
Secondly, it is important to remember that children and the elderly may have difficulty concentrating and remembering the text of the prayer. Therefore, mantras can be written down on paper or in audio format to enable them to be repeated without the need to memorize the text. The use of musical compositions with mantras can also greatly facilitate the memorization process.
Finally, it is worth considering that mantras are not a panacea and cannot replace traditional methods of treatment. If a person has a serious illness, it is necessary to consult a doctor and undergo appropriate treatment. Mantras can serve as an additional tool for promoting health and well-being, but only if they are used correctly.
How can I find an experienced mantra teacher to improve health and cure illness?
Mantras are powerful tools for healing and maintaining health. However, to fully master this art, you need to find a qualified mentor.
First of all, you need to pay attention to the experience of the mentor. The more experienced the mentor, the more likely it is that he will give you valuable advice and teach you the right mantras.
You should also pay attention to the education of your mentor – a practicing mantra therapist must be certified and undergo regular training.
It’s also important to find a mentor that you connect with, that you enjoy working with. There are many styles and directions in mantra therapy, so feel free to look for a mentor that is right for you.
Seeking recommendations from friends or acquaintances can also be a helpful step—perhaps someone close to you already has experience with a particular mentor and can talk about their experiences and how they felt they benefited from being with them.
In any case, choosing a mantra mentor, you should not forget that success in healing depends not only on the mentor, but also on your own practice, willpower and faith in the effectiveness of mantras. Therefore, do not forget to actively practice, as well as follow the recommendations of the mentor.

10 mantras that will make your life better
Motivation
December 24, 2020
These phrases will help set the brain for productive work, harmonious relationships with others and an optimistic perception of the world.
One day, renowned psychology lecturer and best-selling author M. J. Ryan heard about an unusual method of self-development used by Tibetan monks. The point is to repeat short aphorisms to yourself to help you resist negative thoughts and unwanted behaviors.
The writer liked the idea very much. As a result, she came up with her own mantras and described them in the book Changing Habits.
How it works
Do you know why it’s so hard to break bad habits? The thing is, we usually operate on autopilot. Your consciousness does not participate in the process when you get angry and lash out at others, once again put off an important task, or give in to a pessimistic mood.
The only way to change these patterns of behavior is to become aware of your own feelings, thoughts and actions. Do you feel like you’re about to take the wrong step? Stop, think, and force yourself to go the other way. Repeat this pattern over and over. Over time, new neural connections will form in the brain that are responsible for good habits. The same autopilot mechanism will start working for you.
Ryan’s one-line slogans will help bring about this change. An important condition: do not try to use several phrases at once. Find one mantra that suits you and mentally pronounce it at critical moments. Do the exercise until the mantra is “ingrained” in your mind. Then take on the next one.
Phrases to help
1. This person is my teacher
Chanting this mantra is a very easy way to become a better person and build relationships with others. Treat each person as your teacher. If someone makes you angry, it means that he gives you a chance to develop several important qualities at once: kindness, patience and self-control. You can benefit from any experience. So why waste your nerves?
Focus not on other people, but on your own reactions.
2. Anger is seething fear
Remember these words when you feel ready to launch an angry tirade against acquaintances, friends, colleagues or relatives. You will be able to better control your emotions if you realize that fears are usually hidden behind your irritation. We are afraid to miss a chance, to disappoint others, to lose sight of the goal, not to achieve what we want, to waste time … Continue this list yourself.
Not understanding the true reasons for his indignation, a person loses self-control, and as a result, only aggravates the situation. Understand yourself and calmly share your experiences with other people. This approach is much more effective than outbursts of rage.
3. Walk through life in your own way
We are told from an early age what we should do. There is nothing wrong with this, because the child needs to follow the rules for the sake of safety. However, there is a side effect: as adults, many of us are afraid to follow our desires and continue to be guided by various “shoulds”. We are afraid to stand out from the crowd and disappoint others.
Such mindsets paralyze, prevent you from accepting challenges and achieving success. That’s why it’s so important to remind yourself sometimes, “I need to go my own way. ”
4. Only I am responsible for my reactions
Do you often blame other people for experiencing negative emotions? Then this phrase is for you. No one is responsible for your anger, irritation, sadness. Yes, people sometimes do things that can make you angry. But only you decide how to respond to certain circumstances. When you feel energized, say a simple mantra, calm down, and then take action. Otherwise, you risk losing your temper and doing something destructive.
5. Talk and listen equally
A very useful mantra that should be remembered more often both at home and at work. If during communication you usually utter long monologues, interrupt your interlocutors and do not let anyone insert a word, be sure to take note of this phrase.
There are two reasons for this. Firstly, your excessive talkativeness is sure to annoy others. Secondly, by giving up active listening, you deprive yourself of the chance to learn something important and lose the opportunity to understand other people.
6. Believe in the goodwill of others
It will become easier for you to live and communicate if you learn to see goodwill in others a priori. When we are not satisfied with a person’s behavior, we tend to think that he is purposefully trying to harm us. Such assumptions are rarely correct.
As a rule, people are too focused on themselves, so it never occurs to them to build insidious plans against someone. When you get angry, you draw wrong conclusions about the intentions, thoughts, and character of those around you. It can ruin any relationship.
7. Thinking beyond “either-or”
“I can either stay in a job I hate and earn decent money, or do what I like but barely make ends meet.” You have probably said something similar yourself or heard from friends. The phrase itself creates the feeling that the situation is hopeless. In reality, people often limit themselves to two options, when in fact there are many more.
Learn to think big. You can always come up with at least seven ways to solve a problem.
8. Think positive
Pessimism is just a habit. The more often you notice the bad and indulge in sad thoughts, the more negative emotions you experience. Do you want to be happier? Learn to tune your brain to a positive wave. Record all the good things that happen to you. Think about how your life will change when you achieve your goals. Remember good times. Believe me, one day you will turn into a real optimist.
9. When everything is a priority, nothing is a priority
In today’s world, the ability to prioritize is incredibly important. You will never have time to answer all calls and letters, respond to all requests, cope with all assignments. And if you try, you will bring yourself to overwork and stress, and do not perform any of the tasks as well as you could. The conclusion is simple: do only the most important things, do not spread yourself over trifles. Surely there is something in your diary that can be crossed out or put off for later.
