Intelligent Charger Power-Stations PS-NC1000
We present you an analogue of chargers La Crosse RS-700 and La Crosse RS-1000, with a number of advantages. Charger Power-Stations PS-NC1000 has a USB output with which you can charge various devices (phones, tablets, players, etc.)
It is designed to charge NI-MH and NiCd “AA” batteries and “AAA” with capacity up to 3000mAh. Different modes can be used for each battery at the same time (TEST, CHARGE, DISCHARGE, RECOVERY). At your request, the charge current is set – 200, 500, 700 and 1000 mA. In addition, the charger gives you information about the charge current, voltage, capacity and charge time of each battery.
Display – information display:
The large liquid crystal display on the charger body is divided into 4 parts, corresponding to the compartments into which the batteries are inserted. The display can show information about the charge current, voltage, capacity and charging time of each battery.
When you insert the battery into the charger, the display shows the battery voltage in volts (V) to the nearest hundredth. If the battery is not inserted, defective or discharged less than 0.9V, then the screen of the charger displays NULL, which means: “the battery is missing or defective.”

CHARGE (CHARGE) is a normal charge. You install the batteries in the charger and select the charge current with the CURRENT button (values 200, 500,700, 1000mA are possible). After the battery is fully charged, the display shows “Full”. With the DISPLAY button, you can view information about the battery voltage, charge current, process time and the amount of mAh applied to the battery. In case of overheating of the batteries, the charging process is suspended, and resumes only after the batteries have cooled down.
DISCHARGE is the mode of battery discharge and subsequent full charge. Used to eliminate the “memory effect” of batteries. The discharge current corresponds to half of the subsequent charge current. In the process of discharging, on the display you see mAh left from the battery, and subsequent charging is identical to the CHARGE mode. This mode is recommended for the first charge cycle of new batteries.
REFRESH is the process of restoring batteries to optimum operating capacity after they have not been used for a long time or have previously been charged in poor quality chargers. The recovery mode starts with a complete discharge of the batteries, and then they are fully charged. Such cycles of discharge and charge are repeated until the increase in battery capacity stops. Depending on the selected current and the condition of the batteries, the recovery process may take a long time, even up to several days. But the result justifies such an investment of time, many batteries do recover almost to their maximum capacity.
TEST is the actual battery capacity detection mode. Batteries are first fully charged, then fully discharged, and then charged again. The battery capacity will be estimated and shown after the discharge process.
