Mark Taisey has been playing and coaching lacrosse for most of his life. He started playing lacrosse in sixth grade in upstate New York. He played high school lacrosse at North Syracuse High School. He played Division III NCAA lacrosse at Eisenhower College and the University of Rochester where is started at Midfield every game for four years. He played club ball in Delaware for several years. For the past 5 years he has coached the local recreation team, the Newbury Park Prowlers and the club team, Silverfins. His is on the board for the Newbury Park Prowlers and the Southern California Lacrosse Association (SCLA). His goal is to provide boys the opportunity to bring their lacrosse skills to the next level and to expand the sport of lacrosse is Southern California region.
Mike Wilson

Mike grew up in Massapequa on Long Island (a hotbed of lacrosse). He played 4 years of lacrosse at Chaminade HS (All Catholic League selection). Played 1 year at Hofstra University. He was assistant coach for the Silverfin Lacrosse Club and most recently assistant coach for the Newbury Park Prowlers.
Zach Jewell

Zach Jewell is the current Defensive Coordinator at Westlake High School, and has been coaching high school lacrosse for 10 years. He spent 5 years at Newbury Park: one year as Defensive Coordinator, one year as Co-Head Coach, and three years as Head Coach. In addition to his time coaching at the high school level, Coach Z’s experience includes multiple successful years coaching at Silverfin and as Coaching Director for Tribe Lacrosse in the SCLA. He remains active in the SCLA as Coaching Director for United Lacrosse. Zach grew up playing lacrosse in Houston, TX. He’s excited for the summer and is looking forward to creating a team environment where no player goes overlooked. Let’s get started!
Tyler Kemeny

Tyler Kemeny is currently the Head Coach of the Newbury Park Lacrosse Team. Originally from Virginia, Tyler attended Collegiate School, where he won a VISAA conference title as a midfielder. He has over 20 years of lacrosse experience and was a member of the Geronimo Lacrosse and Amped Lax travel teams in Richmond. After High School, Tyler attended Division I Bryant University. He transferred to James Madison University where he played club lacrosse and graduated with a degree in Finance. Since moving to California in 2017, he has helped instruct many players within the Prowlers and Silverfin youth programs. As Head Coach, his vision is to develop the talented lacrosse players of the Conejo Valley by creating a competitive environment that values consistency and strives to beat the goals set by the team.
