More About Coach Nicole
I have been coaching for 9 years. I have coached at all levels including; middle school, high school, and college. I’ve coached at the Duke, James Madison, and Winthrop Lacrosse camps, as well as other camps and clinics throughout the North and South. I also have college coaching experience at Bridgewater College. Currently, I coach the Lake Norman Ladies Lacrosse team (2015 State Champs) as well as Lake Norman United Middle School Team. As long as a player is passionate and determined to get better, I do not have an age group preference.
I played four years of division one lacrosse at James Madison University. While at JMU I won two CAA championships, made an elite 8 appearance, and two sweet 16 appearances. My record at JMU consisted of 54 wins and 9 losses which is considered to be one of the best records at JMU. In my time there we were always ranked within the top 20 among every division one women’s lacrosse team. My senior year I was awarded Most Improved Player. Throughout my High School career I was awarded MVP as well as many sportsmanship honors. I was also an all-state and all-region swimmer.
It is very important to understand an athletes short and long-term goals in order to create a personalized plan. When I access an athlete I look at fundamentals, footwork, and gamesmanship. These three things are essential to the game of lacrosse. Once I have a feel for an athlete and the level they’re at I can then create a specific program for that individual. I have much experience creating different plans for different athletes because of my coaching experience at all levels. For example, if I see an athlete who is determined to play collegiate lacrosse I will show them and teach them what it takes to get to that level in all aspects of their game.

Client Reviews
Leslie (CoachUp client)
Coach Nicole worked with out 11yr old son for 3 sessions. She came to the session very prepared and full of energy. She was absolutely fantastic. Our son was able to take multiple things he learned from his sessions to his next game and even scored his first goal. He was so reluctant to work with a “girl” coach, but Nicole quickly built credibility with him as an awesome player and coach. I am can see he difference in his skills and his confidence. We will be getting more sessions with Nicole.
