Overnight Camp

All Total Athlete and Game Changer programs include training specializations that can be changed for each week of the camp. Athletes seeking to hone their skills outside of sport-specific training will benefit from these unique training specializations. IMG’s expert coaches set athletes apart from their competition, and each session provides campers with takeaways that will significantly impact their game.

All COVID-19 Protocols detailed here are subject to change at any time. Due to the declining cases of COVID-19 on campus and in our community, we have updated our pandemic protocols. Currently, masks are no longer universally required on campus. This decision was made based upon our local and community rate of COVID-19 and taking into account our two-year on-campus experience with the pandemic. Masks are still recommended as an effective means of decreasing one’s chance of contracting the virus and will continue to be required according to CDC guidelines for individuals who have been positive for COVID-19 in the last 10 days and those who have been contact traced. Although masks requirements have been lifted, face coverings are still encouraged while indoors as well as practicing social distancing. High-quality N95 or KN95 masks are recommended by the CDC and provide the most effective protection against the coronavirus. Although student-athletes are not required to be fully vaccinated to attend IMG Academy, we continue to strongly encourage all students to become fully vaccinated as soon as they are eligible or as soon as possible.

Every attempt will be made to update the changes and cancellations on the website. However, the weather can change rapidly, and all teams should be prepared to play as soon as the weather clears, and fields are playable. Should a tournament be on hold due to weather, the tournament organizer will send text messages/emails via the tourney machine app. We HIGHLY recommend that all club directors, coaches and parents download this app on their phone so they can have the most up to date information.

If the tournament is cancelled prior to the start of the event, a credit may be issued. Final determination of refund amount will be on an event-by-event basis. All events have fixed expenses related to field rental and facilities, set-up costs, insurance, personnel, and other matters regardless of cancelation due to weather. Accordingly, no teams will receive full refunds of the registration fee if the tournament is canceled.

A group of academies offers a variety of sports and academic programs for professional athletes and beginners in sports, for adults and children. The duration of the programs is from one week to an academic year or more.

At what age can I start studying at the IMG Academy?
Minimum age for full-time players without boarding: 8 years old, for boarding players (living on the academy campus): 11 years old.
Program duration: one semester, one full academic year or more. Students who do not meet the required level of English proficiency may enroll in a language preparation program at the ULC Academy Language Center. Athletes from 12 years old, as well as parents and accompanying persons, can study here. Since the program is a full academic program, an I-20 for an F-1 student visa is issued to participants.
There is a TOEFL preparation program.

Higher education after school

Every year, graduates of the school at sports academies receive many grants for admission to the university / college.

IMG Academy is located on the Gulf Coast of the Atlantic Ocean in the resort town of Bradenton. The population of the city is 50,000 people. An hour’s drive from the nearest airport in Tampa. The school itself occupies an area of more than 500 acres and includes: educational campuses, residences, more than 20 multi-purpose sports fields and playgrounds, 52 hard and clay tennis courts (open and closed), a modern stadium with 5000 seats, golf courses with 18 10 holes, 4 basketball and outdoor courts, 2 huge gyms, 8 400m running tracks in the track and field stadium, the Gatorade Sports Science Institute (GSSI) and more for an intense study and active lifestyle.

There is no shortage of activities at the IMG Academy. In the evening, the residential student building and the area around the pool for juniors, including the pool itself, outdoor basketball and volleyball courts, as well as numerous rooms for recreation and games, become the center of sports and entertainment events. The school offers boys and girls a choice of more than 30 interest clubs in the following areas: photography club, fishing, art, music, hiking. One can be a member of the UNICEF club, the High School Senate, or the National Honors Society (NHS)/National Junior Honors Society (NJHS). Classes are held every day after school.
