How do I join or renew my membership with USA Lacrosse?

What is my membership renewal date?
All memberships are annual. Your membership renewal date is the last day of the month you joined the previous year.
Who is covered by the USA Lacrosse insurance program?
Individual Members: Players, Coaches and Officials who are currently registered members of USA Lacrosse, and who are in good standing, are covered by the USA Lacrosse Insurance Program for the term of their membership. Fan members and International members do not receive insurance coverage as part of their membership benefits.
Coverage by Membership Category: How you register with USA Lacrosse dictates how the coverage will apply. For example, if you register as a player, you are covered when playing lacrosse (and not for officiating or coaching). Similarly, if you are registered as a coach you are covered for your coaching duties only; the insurance will not cover you if you decide to play in a tournament. In order for the Member Insurance Plan to cover you for more than one category of participation, you must indicate these multiple categories on your application.
Teams & Leagues: An important feature of the USA Lacrosse Insurance Program is that the Liability plan extends only to teams and leagues that are 100% registered with USA Lacrosse. In order for a team or league to be covered by the General Liability and Excess Liability policies, all players and coaches must be currently registered with USA Lacrosse. By doing so, your team or league as an entity will be protected by the Liability policies and you will be able to obtain Certificates of Insurance, which are typically needed in order to secure fields or facilities for lacrosse activities. In addition, the Liability plan will also extend to cover your board and volunteers if they are named in a lawsuit.
Don’t overlook this important aspect of team or league operations! Make sure your team or league is properly insured for liability so that you are not responsible for the financial and legal burden of handling a legal claim yourself.
Non-Members: No insurance coverage is provided to non-members while participating in lacrosse activities.

Read online The Beautiful Storm by Joanna Lindsay – Litres, page 2
– Enough, really! You shouldn’t be standing in front of your husband with those red eyes!
Judith stepped back with a grin:
– Am I crying?
– Of course! Everyone noticed it, even your father.
“Perhaps that is why he was so merciful and allowed this wedding to take place after all,” Judith laughed.
– Gracious? I thought the whole cooking process was accompanied by kicks and growls.
– There were actually few threats, so for him such behavior is quite commendable.
– I’ll have to take your word for it.
Alas, today is the last day, now she will not be able to communicate with her cousin as often as before. Judith will live with her husband in Hampshire, in a house inherited from his grandmother, while Jacqueline will live far away in London. Of course she can visit them. But you can’t live with them for a whole year!
– I will miss you so much! Jacqueline sobbed.
– But we won’t live at different ends of the earth.
– I know.
However, it will be exactly like this for her!
– You should be distracted, find something to do…
– Yes, I already found it. After returning to London, my father sails on the Virgin George to the Caribbean Sea, and this is all I think about.
– Oh, I know that, but I meant something else… romantic. Don’t you like any of your fans?
– No one in particular, but in general I like them all. I just didn’t fall in love with any of them.
– You probably didn’t even try!
Helping Judith unbutton her dress, Jacqueline laughed.
– Somehow I didn’t even think that I should have tried!
You understand me. If you could finally forget about this kidnapping, get rid of fits of anger, your heart would open to new possibilities.
When Judith turned her back on her, Jacqueline grimaced. She understood that her sister was happy, and therefore she wanted everyone around her to be happy too. Judith had simply forgotten that Jacqueline would be happiest if she didn’t fall in love with anyone this year.
Instead of explaining this to her sister, Jacqueline said:
– I’m worried about my father, because this week he sails to deal with the bastard and his master … – Since both Warren and Boyd arrived at the wedding, she was sure that the Malory family meeting to plan the attack would be very soon, maybe even today in Haverstone. Of course, no one will call her!
– So Uncle already knows who planned all this?
– I have no idea! Jacqueline exclaimed angrily. They don’t tell me anything!
Judith turned around, her face grimacing.
– But you were sure that Uncle James would immediately understand who this scoundrel was as soon as you … oh, Jacques, don’t tell me it’s still a secret! You should have told him about the real, even uglier ransom demand you learned about from the note you found on the pirate ship.
– I told you. My father is sailing to the Caribbean anyway, so there was no point in hiding it from him. I gave him a copy of the note the same day he received Drew’s letter.
When Jacqueline found this note in the bastard’s quarters, she thought her family wouldn’t know what happened because he didn’t leave a ransom note in Bridgeport. Jacqueline was furious. She tried to kill the kidnapper on the same day, as, indeed, on many other days, but without much success. This bastard was too strong, and her attempts only made him laugh. But at last he told her that he had rewritten his master’s note in a more polite manner and it had been delivered to her father. As if it changed something in their plan.
– I even told my dad that I didn’t mention this real note before so he wouldn’t fall into the trap of going to the Caribbean immediately. He read it and just smiled without saying a single word! How angry I was!
Finally Judith is completely free of her dress. Turning around, she said:
– Jacques, so much time has passed that there can be no trap. Leave your father to do as he sees fit, and you have fun for the rest of the season.
“I know, I’ll try,” Jacqueline sighed.
– Don’t try, just do it – or die! Judith rolled her eyes. – Is that your slogan?
“Sort of,” Jacqueline laughed. “Fine, I’ll go back to London and have fun.
– You swear?
– Yes to you!
It was at this moment that Nathan entered the room and Jacqueline realized why Judith, the maid who used to help her change, was not in the room. Because this time she had to help her young husband. Seeing Judith in just a shirt and lace petticoats, he rushed over to her and pulled her into his arms.
Jacqueline was sure that Nathan didn’t even notice her presence! She smiled and slipped out of the room, closing the door behind her.
Chapter 3
Jacqueline was always willing to eavesdrop at the door, but not in Haverstone. The doors in the old mansion were thick, and some of them were also reinforced with iron sheets – you can’t hear anything here, unless someone is shouting from the other side. But that was not the case. The girl, of course, made an attempt, but relatives kept passing through the halls, and she could not stand, pressing her ear to the door, in front of everyone.
Then Jacqueline slipped out unnoticed through the back door and ran along the wall, studying the windows: some of them should be open on this warm summer night. And so it turned out. She even managed to quietly look into the hall to understand who, besides her father, was still there – her uncles Warren and Boyd were in the room.
Anthony entered just as Jacqueline had time to hide. He wasn’t going to sail with James, so Jacqueline wondered what his role was? Unless Anthony can support her father morally. No matter how angry Tony was with James, he would always take his brother’s side against the Yankees, as they called the Anderson part of the family. However, that evening there was no disagreement between Warren and Boyd, apparently because James granted their request to participate in the expedition.
Jacqueline was all ears and didn’t even notice Jeremy’s appearance. So she jumped in fright when he squatted down next to him, whispering:
“I could have guessed that you would be here before me.”
She put her finger to her lips and grimaced, expressing her annoyance that Jeremy had discovered her hiding place.
– What did I miss? he asked impatiently.
“Nothing yet,” the girl hissed, peering behind him to make sure Parseval Alden hadn’t dragged himself behind him. Percy was an old friend of the family. He had a unique ability to confuse and spoil everything. There is no doubt that if there is an opportunity to screw up somewhere, Parseval will definitely do it. In this case, he could betray their idea to his father.
– So, what do you hear from Drew? Warren’s voice came from the library.
“Nothing good,” James replied, “read it for yourself.
Warren must have already held Drew’s letter in his hands, because he immediately noticed:
– Yeah, Drew writes that it cannot be Pierre Lacrosse, that pirate you prison in Anguilla.
“Read on,” James urged him on.
Apparently, Boyd was standing next to his brother and also reading the letter, because his voice was heard:
– So Drew thought the warden was nervous when he asked about Lacrosse? Not typical for a person living in the same stone cell with hundreds of criminals.
“I think so too,” James agreed. “And, mind you, the warden didn’t let Drew talk to Lacrosse. And Drew is the only one out of all of you who could have identified Lacrosse, because he was the only one with me when the villain was captured.
“Well, he could resist for a lot of reasons,” Warren’s voice was heard. “But Drew is visibly upset that he didn’t get the jailer to talk to him.
“And most likely it didn’t work because the prison is English, and the fact that Drew is American became clear as soon as he opened his mouth,” Boyd added.
“Of course, the fact that the British, even in peacetime, do not want to cooperate with you Yankees is a good reason,” Anthony chuckled.
“But we’re not going to fight them,” James warned him. “So if you want to blow off steam, blow off on me, not on them.
– Then what am I doing here?
– I just thought you’d change your mind and come with us.
– Damn it, boy! I want to be closer to home in case Judith changes her mind about that scumbag Tremaine and comes home to cry on her father’s chest. And you will give me all the colorful details when you return to England.
“Then you can go back to the wedding,” James advised.
“I told you there was nothing for me to do here,” Anthony grumbled.
“Well, even if we don’t know who we’re hunting,” Warren said, “I’d still go right now.” I’ve been sitting on dry land for too long. We’ll get to the Caribbean, and there we’ll decide everything.
– If Drew and I hadn’t suspected Lacrosse of kidnapping Jacque so much, I wouldn’t have asked Drew to spend so much time figuring out where Lacrosse is now. Drew first surveyed Pierre’s old fortress. The island turned out to be uninhabited, although there were traces of recent human habitation on it. Then he spent several weeks trying to find out who lived on the island and where these people went afterward, which is why we received news from him only now.
– But if Lacrosse is still in prison, why did Drew spend so much time on the island? Boyd asked.
– When we caught Lacrosse, some of his team managed to escape jail. In any case, of course, I should have been on my way there long ago, because despite the fact that I retired, I still have many more enemies than one Lacrosse and his team. Drew doesn’t know everyone. Only if I personally talk to each of them will I be able to understand who is the author of this plan. Drew doesn’t even know who to ask the right questions, while I…
“…would get answers by any means,” Warren finished for him, and then added embarrassedly, “That’s a compliment, of course, James, but not at all.” not an accusation.
“Well, you messed it up again, Yankee,” Anthony chuckled and turned to his brother, “Boy, you should have blamed me. You may have bought yourself a truce with them for the duration of this mission, but not me.
James pretended not to notice his brother’s remark and said:
– I would have gone there sooner if my dear daughter hadn’t hidden this from me. She found this note on the ship that took her away from Bridgeport. The captain of the ship, her kidnapper, instead of the original ransom demand, decided to send us a more polite version.
– Is this a polite kidnapper? Boyd was surprised.
– What kind of pirate writes polite letters? Warren snorted.
Anthony took the note Jacqueline gave to her father from James and read it aloud.
– “Your life is for hers. – A familiar suggestion? – You know the place. Hurry, mon ami.”
“Jacques copied this insulting note written by her captor’s master,” James explained.
– And she hid it all this time? Anthony exclaimed. – But why?
– Jacques was afraid that if I returned to the Caribbean immediately, I would fall into a trap because they would be waiting for me. The author of this cryptic note, according to her, Father Katherine Meyer, apparently assumed that I would perfectly understand what exactly it was talking about.
– Did you understand?
– Yes, but there is one inconsistency. Its author is still in prison.
– So you mean lacrosse? Warren asked.
“Wait a minute,” Boyd interrupted. “You can’t call an author French just because he wrote ‘mon ami’. I don’t speak French, but doesn’t that just mean “my friend”?
“Sarcasm, of course,” James replied. “It looks like the author of the note is hinting at me as to who my enemy is without leaving any evidence that could be used in court. It’s more like Lacrosse. And I wouldn’t be surprised if he had a daughter, a jewel thief, as cunning as a fox. Namely, this rogue Katherine Meyer, whom our false relative Andrassi brought aboard the Virgin George.
– Does she look like Lacrosse? Warren asked.
“Well, I wouldn’t say they’re the same person,” James shrugged. “But in any case, she could act on his instructions. Therefore, either the English jailer lied to Drew, or Lacrosse is able to organize such an enterprise, directing it from prison. And the purpose of this plan is to get me into this prison, right into his cell.
“That’s impossible,” Boyd protested. – It seemed to me that you, aristocrats, are not imprisoned, no matter what you do.
“In general, it is,” said James, “but it is quite possible to imprison Captain Hawke.
– Captain Hawk died in England. I can swear that you did everything so that the mosquito will not undermine the nose.
“That’s right,” James said. “But news of Hawke’s death may not have reached all the islands in the Caribbean, and there may still be warrants for his arrest. After all, I was there recently, and someone who knew me as Captain Hawke could identify me. What’s more, when I helped Drew save Gaby and capture Lacrosse, Lacrosse saw me, so he knows I’m alive. What I don’t understand is how Lacrosse or whoever came up with this plan figured out that Hawke was James Malory. I tried very hard to keep it a secret.
“So we’ll have to attack the English prison,” Warren groaned.
“No… well, I hope not,” James replied. “However, I will have to talk to this warden. Meanwhile, I suppose that there are two more people who could write something similar in a note. In general, there are still many questions and no certainty. Except that I’m leaving the morning after the damned masquerade, which I already promised to attend.
“Georgie did her best,” Boyd grunted.
“Yes,” said James, “I personally hate balls, but Georgie can be so persuasive sometimes!”
“God, but he doesn’t mean…?” Warren began to protest.
“Of course he does, Yankees,” Anthony interrupted him.
Outside the window, Jeremy helped Jacqueline up and led her into the house, muttering in an unhappy tone:
– I was supposed to be in the library, but Uncle James refused to let me in.
– Do you think I haven’t tried it either? He won’t let any of us go.
“I still understand why Uncle James expelled you,” Jeremy snorted, “but I lived on the islands and know the Caribbean like the back of my hand. I could be of great help, and Uncle James knows it.
“Don’t insult me, brother,” Jacqueline said dryly, “you and I are the perfect potential hostages that can make him lower his sword in battle. So we’ll have to stay out of the way, as much as we’d like to.
– So you hold on, and I’ll try to argue with him. When will this ball your father mentioned take place?
Jacqueline rolled her eyes. Of course, Jeremy is unlikely to be able to convince his father if even she failed. She was offended by her father’s decision, but she was not going to try to insist on her own again. Now we need to find Gaby and find out from her everything you can about this pirate, Pierre Lacrosse.
Chapter 4
“You don’t seem to care that your father sets off in the morning alone, without us,” Jacqueline told her mother, who was looking at herself in the large, full-length mirror in the bedroom.
– Well, I’m hiding it, right? Georgina replied. – I’m sure he will return from swimming with a victory, and we can finally forget the whole story, but this does not mean that I will not worry every minute while he is not at home.
– And you will miss him?
– Of course, you too, I know. And by the way, you’re not going to bring this topic up again – why would you go with him instead of staying with me?
“I didn’t mean to at all,” Jacqueline chuckled. “I know damn well that you can’t be argued, although I deserve the opportunity to get revenge much more than …
– Jacques! interrupted Georgina.
– Well, it just escaped by itself, really, by itself.
Georgina shook her head disapprovingly:
“At least we’ll both find some fun before the end of ball season.
Jacqueline could only hope that it would. It would be nice to hurry up, tonight already, to distract from the expectation of my father’s departure! Fortunately, the domino will hide her face, and no one will guess what she is going through. Outwardly, she will look quite contented with life. And in fact, Jacqueline had been looking forward to tonight for a long time. First, she won’t even know who she’s dancing with! Such cute, harmless riddles she likes.
They were already dressed for the ball. The finishing touch to Jacqueline’s outfit was a new emerald necklace to match her pale green dress, which her mother buttoned on her.
– Let’s go. Your father must be looking forward to when this is all over. He’s downstairs with Brandon.
– Brandon? He said he wasn’t going!
– Brandon told us that you wanted him to go, and we realized that you terrorized the poor boy ruthlessly.
“Well, maybe just a little bit,” Jacqueline chuckled. “But a masquerade is the perfect place for Brandon to have a little fun without the lackey announcing “Duke of Wrighton” with every step he takes! After he announced that he was not going to attend balls at all, I had to convince him. Brandon just doesn’t know what he’s missing, but tonight he’ll figure out what it is and maybe change his mind.
– I wouldn’t rely on it. Brandon takes his position very seriously. Do not forget that in the family he is the first duke and he was brought up as a duke. So don’t interfere, Jacques, don’t. I would not be at all surprised if a wife was chosen for him long ago. It must be a perfectly flawless candidate.
“Total darkness,” Jacqueline snorted. “You’re forgetting that he’s also from Malory.
– Do Malories always get what they want? Georgina raised an eyebrow.
– That’s right!
* * *
– I can’t believe my eyes – he really is dancing!
Jacqueline, trotting along with Brandon, squinted in the direction he was looking and laughed as her parents danced past them.
– I believe. Mom put you and me on the list, but dad was a few pairs behind us, so even if they figured me out, no one would have guessed it was him. My black wig and dominoes were supposed to make me unrecognizable.
– Alas.
– I know, – the girl was upset. “I was so upset when Bernard Morton, who was eager to dance with me before anyone else, began to tell the others that he had discovered what kind of mask I was. As he did it, he does not split. Maybe he bribed my maid and found out the color of my dress? I’ll fire her as soon as I get home!
– Not worth it. Similarly, Bernard could have bribed your dressmaker or someone in the neighborhood, and that someone supplied him with the details. What difference does it make, dear cousin. There is no point in dismissing a devotee…
– Traitor!
– A maid!
– The most beautiful thing about a masquerade is that you are not recognized. When my secret was revealed, the masquerade turned into an ordinary ball for me.
– But you like balls, don’t you? Brandon chuckled.
– Of course, that’s why I’m just grumbling and not growling!
“That’s right,” he remarked dryly.
Jacqueline chuckled. She was glad that Brandon came to the ball. When he was wearing a mask, no one could guess that he was only seventeen or that he was the Duke of Wrighton.
“My father,” Jacqueline said, “although he hates dancing, he loves to please my mother, and she loves to dance. Well, what about you? However, you have nowhere to go. You had six partners in a row before I could get you to the dance, and then I had to almost run so you wouldn’t grab someone else!
– Of course, I like to dance, although, by the way … not so much dancing as touching.
“Yeah, so you get turned on by a light touch on your partner’s waist?” Jacqueline giggled.
She knew, though she couldn’t see it under his half-mask, covering his cheeks and leaving his mouth open, which made him blush. Sometimes Jacqueline said something without thinking, or rather, she did it almost all the time. But she was not at all going to embarrass her cousin, who was so taken care of by his parents that he was unlikely to have at least one more chance to communicate with a girl of the same age. Seventeen-year-old boys can be very sensitive when it comes to relationships with the opposite sex, and she should not talk about his erotic experience or his absence.
So Jacqueline quickly corrected herself:
– No, don’t say anything! Sometimes I blurt out, you know. Okay, tell me, how do you feel on your first day into the world of debutantes? Is that how you imagined him? Although it’s probably hard to say something if you can’t see the faces?
– Well, you can’t hide your character, just like amazing… dresses.
Jacqueline burst out laughing. Great expression for describing female figures! She felt that Brandon was no longer embarrassed, because he said the last phrase in an exaggeratedly sanctimonious tone.
– And has someone piqued your interest?
– Of course. I just fell in love with her … and with her … and with this one too!
He pointed in the direction of three different debutantes, one of them was dancing and the other two were looking in his direction, giggling. Jacqueline rolled her eyes. If it hadn’t been Brandon, she would have thought he was teasing her.
“You’re just like Cousin Jamie,” Jacqueline said. Every month she imagines that she has fallen in love with a new man. Okay, tell me, do you know the difference between being in love and falling in love? Lust? Love madness?
– And you? Brendon asked. “Or have you convinced yourself that you are not going to fall in love, that you will reject love even if it pierces your heart?”
– Well, since the question is not serious, I will say that I know very well that love is not attraction. Because I could not remain indifferent to the bastard, although I hated him with all my heart.
– Well, I know how they differ, Jacques, so you can take your irony back.
– You are always so serious! she laughed. “And when did you learn to pretend?”
– Since I realized how gullible my sister is. She still believes that Judith married a ghost!

Sixteen-year-old Scott McCall was an ordinary teenager. Went to school, played mediocre lacrosse, was never popular with either the girls or the general students. Everything changed after a call from best friend Stiles Stilinski with a proposal to find the half of the corpse that the police could not find. By coincidence, Scott was alone in the woods at night. He was bitten by a mysterious large beast. The young man was able to escape from strong paws and run away, escaping with a slight fright and a small bite. After that night, his body began to change. Smell, hearing and reflexes sharpened. Asthma subsided. But with power came aggression and animal instincts. In order not to harm friends and loved ones, Scott must learn to control himself and tame his inner beast. To do this, it is necessary to subordinate the acquired abilities. With which Stiles Stilinski helped the wolf cub.
