Winter 2022-2023 Indoor Lacrosse Sessions
For the 2022-2023 winter season, indoor lacrosse is offered in three sessions:
- Session 1: November – December 2022
- Session 2: January – February 2023
- Session 3: March 2023
The indoor lacrosse program features both 4v4 games and skills sessions throughout the week:
- Mondays and Tuesdays: 4v4 games
- Wednesdays and Thursdays: Skills sessions
Players participate in 4v4 games using box lacrosse goals and goalie equipment, providing a fast-paced and exciting indoor lacrosse experience. The skills sessions focus on developing fundamental techniques and game strategies.
Equipment Requirements for Indoor Lacrosse
Participants in the winter indoor lacrosse program are required to bring full equipment, including:
- Indoor turf shoes (“wet turfs” are recommended, but basketball shoes or molded cleats are acceptable)
- Extra protective gear (rib guards and bicep pads for boys, helmets and mouth guards for girls)
Is prior lacrosse experience necessary to participate in the indoor program? While basic skills like throwing and catching are recommended, formal lacrosse experience is not required. This makes the program accessible to both newcomers and experienced players alike.

Jake Berg is the head coach of our Lake Stevens Varsity team. As a student athlete he played Offensive mid, Defensive mid and face-off on his way in earning First team NAIA All-American, 2x first team All-KCAC, and All-time leading FO% at MVC. GO LAKE!!!
Assistant Coach JARED BOOTH
I started playing in middle school for the Snohomish lacrosse program and continued through my senior year where we won a dII state title and I was honored with an all conference defense selection. At WWU I was a 4 year starter and was honorable mention, 2nd team, and first team all conference defense sophomore, junior and senior year. As a team we won our conference title two of my four years with those being the only conference titles WWU has ever won and we made the semi-finals at the MCLA tournament one of those years. After college, I was the defensive coordinator/JV head coach for Snohomish for three years with Chris Cote. I also coached one summer for Time Bandits and two years for Time Bandits box lacrosse.
