3d Lacrosse is excited to bring our Box-Field Hybrid methodology to Alabama! We will be running a four-day camp at Sicard Hollow Athletic Complex in Vestavia Hills. Players will learn the basics of throwing and catching to advanced shooting, dodging, defending and other elite methodology. Lunch break from 12pm-1pm for full day attendees.

3d Lacrosse training is proven to bring players’ skills to the next level. The focus of camp will be on player development and lacrosse IQ using small-sided drills where players will get more touches throughout camp. The tempo of practice will propel players out of their comfort zone and drive dramatic improvements over the four days of camp.

James Leary, Georgia Manager. James comes to 3d with a wealth of playing and coaching experience. A 2018 graduate from University of Vermont, James was a close defender on the Catamounts Division I Men’s lacrosse team for four seasons. He lead the team as a captain during his junior and senior years. He started all but two of 62 games during the course of his career. He set the UVM career record for caused turnovers with 69 and finished sixth all-time in ground balls with 155.
Randy Nace, Vestavia Lacrosse Organization Head Coach. Coach Nace took over as Head Coach at Vestavia High School in 2011 and was named Alabama Lacrosse coach of the year. In 2012 he was named the head lacrosse coach at The University of Alabama, where they made the SELC tournament. After a short stint at Alabama, Coach Nace returned to Vestavia High School as the head coach and lead the Rebels to five state championship appearances. Alabama Lacrosse Coach of the year 2011 and 2017, as well as being inducted into the Alabama Lacrosse Association Hall of Fame in 2018.

Pavinelli Selected to USA Lacrosse Sixes Evaluation Camp
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Rising sophomore Danielle Pavinelli earned a spot at the USA Lacrosse Sixes evaluation camp for the new World Lacrosse Sixes discipline, as the organization announced on Thursday afternoon.
The camp will take place during the Lake Placid (N.Y.) Summit Classic from Aug. 2-4. Pavinelli was one of 24 women selected for this prestigious honor.
Pavinelli is coming off a stellar freshman campaign, where she was named AAC Freshman of the Year en route to Florida finishing 18-3 on the year.
Sixes is a fast-paced version of the sport played on a smaller field (70 x 36 meters), with fewer players (6 v 6), a condensed game length (four 8-minute quarters) and a 30-second shot clock.
World Lacrosse will continue to use the traditional field game for its world championships, including the 2022 World Lacrosse Women’s World Championship, which will be hosted by USA Lacrosse at Towson University next summer. However, Sixes will be the format used for some designated events, including The World Games, a multi-sport Olympic-style event, in Birmingham, Ala., next summer.
The World Games were first held in 1981 and feature more than 30 sports and 3,000 athletes competing from around the world in sports not included in the Olympics. The U.S. women won the inaugural lacrosse competition in Poland in 2017 when the event was played under a modified version of the traditional field game. This will be the first time that men’s lacrosse will be included in The World Games and both men’s and women’s lacrosse will use the Sixes discipline.
The Sixes evaluation camp at Lake Placid is the second of three events for USA Lacrosse this year. The first camp was held earlier this month at USA Lacrosse headquarters in Sparks, Md., with an exhibition game at the USA Lacrosse Youth Nationals in Frederica, Del. A third event, featuring international competition, is planned for October at USA Lacrosse headquarters.

SPARKS, Md. — Towson University women’s lacrosse alum Tianna Wallpher has been named to the first-ever USA Lacrosse training camprooster dedicated to the Sixes format.
More than 40 of the nation’s top men’s and women’s lacrosse players will take part in the training camp at USA Lacrosse headquarters in Sparks, Md. and Frederica, Del. Additional sessions will be held at Lake Placid Summit Classic in August and an event at USA Lacrosse headquarters in October.
Sixes is a fast-paced version of the sport played on a smaller field (70 x 36 meters), with fewer players (6 v 6), a condensed game length (four 8-minute quarters) and a 30-second shot clock. Sixes, developed by World Lacrosse, will be the format used for lacrosse at The World Games 2022, a multi-sport Olympic-style event, in Birmingham, Ala., next summer.
The Sixes discipline has been developed over the course of several scrimmages in conjunction with input from several collegiate coaches.
Wallpher enjoyed a decorated career as a Tiger, starting all three seasons on defense. She is currently ranked fourth all-time in caused turnovers with 107 in addition to totaled 121 ground balls and 17 draw controls.
She earned All-CAA (Colonial Athletic Association) first team honors three consecutive seasons as well as a spots on the 2017 preseason All-CAA team and 2016 All-CAA tournament team. The Ellicott City, Md. native also earned national praise as a 2017 IWLCA First Team Mid-Atlantic All-Region selection.
Following her senior season at Towson, Wallpher was named to the IWLCA All-America Third Team, IWLCA Mid-Atlantic Region First Team as well as an Inside Lacrosse All-American honorable mention. She was also selected to the South Team for the 2018 IWLCA Senior All-Star Game.
Wallpher was a Wild Card draft pick by the Baltimore Brave of the Women’s Professional Lacrosse League before serving as Towson’s volunteer assistant in 2019. She just completed her second season with Johns Hopkins in the volunteer assistant role.

USA Lacrosse Sixes Roster Announcement
Hempstead, NY – In an announcement by USA Lacrosse this afternoon, current professional lacrosse player and former Hofstra men’s lacrosse star Ryan Tierney has been named as one of 23 men’s lacrosse players chosen to participate in the latest World Lacrosse Sixes evaluation camp from August 2-4 during the Lake Placid Summit Classic in Lake Placid, New York.
Sixes is a new discipline of lacrosse that will be utilized for The World Games, a multi-sport, Olympic-style event held in Birmingham, Alabama in July 2022. This camp is the second of three events hosted by USA Lacrosse prior for naming a team for The World Games. Tierney was named to the first camp held earlier this month at USA Lacrosse headquarters in Sparks, Maryland. A third event is planned for October at USA Lacrosse headquarters.
Tierney, who graduated from Hofstra University in 2021, was a five-year member of the men’s lacrosse program and concluded his illustrious career as one of the top players in the history of Hofstra men’s lacrosse. The Massapequa, New York native became the program’s all-time leader for points and goals scored in a career this past season with 251 points and 164 goals, respectively, eclipsing the goals record originally set by Tom Kessler (1999-01) before overtaking Jerry Simandl (1952-55) for the school’s points record. He also became the Colonial Athletic Association record-holder for goals and points in a career, passing Curtis Dickson of Delaware (2007-10).
The high-scoring attackman finished his electrifying career with 65 points in 2021 with 43 goals and 22 assists, in addition to 27 ground balls and seven caused turnovers as he helped the Pride to an appearance in the CAA Championship Game. For his terrific senior season, he received All-America honors from the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (Second Team), Inside Lacrosse (Third Team), and USA Lacrosse Magazine (Third Team), and he was named the CAA Offensive Player of the Year.
Tierney is currently playing in his first season of professional lacrosse with Whipsnakes LC of the Premier Lacrosse League after being drafted in the second round of the 2021 PLL College Entry Draft. He has played in five games and has recorded one assist and five ground balls.

Prince George is the largest city in the northern part of Britain Columbia, Canada, has a population of 86,622 in the metropolitan area. It is often referred to as the “Northern Capital” of the province or sometimes “Spruce Capital” because it is the central city for the Northern Business Center. History

Prince George’s roots can be traced back to the Fort George fur trading post, which was founded in 1807 by Simon Fraser and named after King George III. The post focused on the centuries-old homeland of the first nation, Lheidli Tenne, whose very name means “people of the confluence of two rivers.”

Etymology

Years of War

Canadian Forces Station Baldi Hughes (ADC ID: C-20) was built in 1952 as a general observation station. Sewerage and Water Supply
Prince J’s Drinking Water Orja is taken from the Nechako and Fraser rivers through ten wells.The raw water is disinfected with sodium hypochlorite. The local government is treating wastewater at a hospital in the Landdown area, on the west side of the Fraser River, or at one of three other small wastewater treatment plants on the east side. In the 2014 municipal elections, the people of Prince George voted to remove fluoride from drinking water in an optional referendum. The new mayor and the city council of Prince George, at their first meeting, decided to follow the wishes of their constituents.The weakening of the city’s water supply ended in December 2014.
Air Pollution
The Prince George Airfield has many local sources of various air pollutants, including several major industrial sources (pulp mills, sawmills and an oil refinery), vehicle emissions, locomotives, open coal cars, soil. Since most of the city and its local sources of air pollution are in the valley, there are often meteorological conditions that pollute pollutants and lead to episodes of poor air quality and unhealthy levels of exposure to air pollution in some areas.
According to data compiled by two BC doctors, more people die each year due to diseases associated with air pollutants in Prince George than in any other community in the province. Although “Copes said it was difficult to say with certainty that some of the deaths were caused by pollution, because it is not a factor that is easily recognizable.”

According to the 2001 Canadian Census, 27,605 households in the city lived 72 406 people.Of these, 23% were single-person households, below the provincial average (27%) and 31% were married couples with children, above the average (26%). Prince George had a smaller proportion of married couples than in the provinces, 47% compared to 51%, but very similar people in the same household. With 90% of Prince George’s residents born in Canada and 87% in English, there are few visible minorities in the city.
