In southern Pennsylvania, USA near Carlisle, a bus carrying the women’s Seton Hill College (Greensburg) lacrosse team veered off the highway and crashed into a tree. The driver died on the spot, and one of the coaches, 30-year-old Christina Quigley, also died. Another 14 people were injured and were hospitalized. In total, there were 23 players and three coaches in the salon.

“Lacrosse is a game of great tradition and history, known as the “game of the creators” of the Native Americans who are the founders of this great sport. During the summer in Vail, at 8,100 feet above sea level, men take to the fields to play with ex-teammates and other good friends while competing against some of the best men’s teams in the country. No wonder we also go to all the bars, restaurants and other activities Vail has to offer in the summer.”

Renzi accompanied us to Vail for many years and we have missed him greatly this year as he passed away last November years after 81 glorious years on this earth.But we felt him every minute and his wife Terry was with us and took on his role with great aplomb and the spirit of her husband.This is what our game really is.To To give you an idea of a man we have loved and honored, it is helpful to know that Renzi is a member of several halls of fame including the Intercollegiate Men’s Lacrosse Coaches Association Hall of Fame where he was inducted in 2016.
He has coached lacrosse for 36 years (and women’s squash for 10 years and also worked as an assistant football coach for 30 years) He was far from traditional in coaching and in his approach to life.His extraordinary influence extended far beyond the field as a mentor, father figure, friend and leader for community of Williams and the national lacrosse community. He was a one of a kind Legend.”
