USF Mega Football Camp Attracts Over 1,000 Prospects
TAMPA – If you weren’t at Thursday’s Mega Football Camp at the University of South Florida, you were certainly in the minority.
With over 60 colleges being represented from throughout Florida and the country, athletes had an opportunity to showcase their many skills from 11:30 a.m. until 7 p.m.
They came from Indiana University, Middle Tennessee State, Western Michigan, Kansas, Minnesota, St. Thomas University, Rutgers, Keiser University, Webber International University, Warner University, Georgia Tech, Bethune Cookman University, Howard University, Toledo University, Marshall, University of Maryland, Bryant University and so many others who made their way out to see some of the top quarterbacks, receivers, defensive backs, special teams performers, linebacker, and offensive and defensive linemen.
As first year head coach Alex Golesh and his staff rolled out the welcome mat, prospects had the chance to perform in front of many college coaches who had the opportunity to evaluate and add current 2024 seniors, 2025 juniors, 2026 sophomores and incoming 2027 freshmen to a growing list of elite talent.
South Florida prospects such as Fort Lauderdale Cardinal Gibbons 2025 receiver Trent Dubuc, Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas 2026 offensive linemen and 2024 kickers/punters Kristian Hobbs (Miami Central) and Miami Southridge standout Gabriel Perez came out.
Fort Lauderdale NSU University head coach Mike Norman brought up two vans full of players. Miami Edison head coach Luther Campbell brought his team up – including Dinellson and Chanellson Exume and Brandon Lowe to name a few.
Weston Cypress Bay head coach Bret Hood and his team gave junior quarterback Devin Gonzalez, defensive end Craig Comrie Jr. and cornerback Dylan McCarthy, rising senior receiver Deron Latson and rising sophomore offensive lineman Ben Gula.
Miami’s True North Academy also gave young prospects such as rising freshman quarterback Zac Katz and rising sophomore defensive back Dominic Turnbull. Miami Lakes Goleman standout Daryl Bell III was also showcasing his athletic ability.

At first glance, the story seems absolutely win-win. You don’t have to pay for accounts, while the leading clubs have a significant social base that allows you not to invest in promotion. But time after time, the merciless Russian SMM for some reason shoots either from a cannon at sparrows, or even in its own foot. It seems that the desperate pursuit of the viral effect is to blame.
