All of the coaches very knowledgeable about the game and communicated in a manner that the kids were able to quickly understand the different concepts.
– Gavin Spencer, Vine Grove, KY
I liked how he explained things and how they had each coach work with us. It was truly instruction, not just playing games.
I also liked how they showed up videos and then had us practice those things on the court.
– Amanda Franklin, Mahomet, IL
I like the dynamic warm ups, focus on basics, words of the day, the cheerful disposition of the coaches, and positive reinforcement.
– Everett Jimenez, Brandenburg, KY
We couldn’t ask for a better coach than Coach Gorby. She was great with the kids and you can tell she was well prepared.
– Mason Lay, Shelbyville, KY

Ive been around camps for many years…this one was quality! So many camps these days are what I refer to as fluff but this one was meat! Coach Kyle Miller did an amazing job teaching motivating and encouraging the group! Its not every day you get the opportunity to meet a special guy and Coach Kyle. Knowledgeable, energetic, with a love for both the game and the athletes he works with. Great camp, great experience for our guys! Thanks again!

Summer Law Institute
The Summer Law Institute (SLI) is a seven-day, residential program for high school students interested in the law and the legal profession. Students will spend the week at the Brandeis School of Law participating in workshops taught by attorneys, judges and law professors. They will learn the fundamentals of trial procedure, discuss important legal and social issues and study how the law affects their lives. In the evenings, students will work with the Bellarmine University Mock Trial Team to prepare for a mock trial on the last day of the program. Local judges will preside over the mock trial in which students act as attorneys and witnesses. Field trips during the week include visits to the state and federal courthouses and to Bellarmine University. During the program, students will reside in U of L campus housing and the SLI will provide all meals. Note: Because we are only able to accept a limited number of students each year, if we receive more applications than we can accommodate, we will give preference to students entering their junior or senior year.
Applications are available at the Louisville Bar Association website.
