2007: Third Team USILA All-America selection Started all 17 games on JHU[apos]s first midfield and finished with 16 goals, 10 assists and a team-high 80 ground balls while winning 106-of-189 (.
561) faceoffs Finished 17th in the nation in faceoff winning percentage and 20th in ground balls per game (4.71) Ranked sixth on the team in goals and points and third in assists Came up with the key ground ball in second overtime and assisted on Paul Rabil[apos]s game-winner against Princeton in the Inside Lacrosse Faceoff Classic Added two goals and one assist and won 5-of-7 faceoffs three days later against UMBC Sparked the win over Hofstra by winning 9-of-13 faceoffs while matching then career-high with eight ground balls Punched up career-high four points (2g, 2a) and won 6-of-10 faceoffs in a regular-season loss to Duke JHU stood at 4-4 after the loss to the Blue Devils before Peyser fueled a nine-game winning streak that culminated with a win over Duke in the NCAA Championship game Won 69-of-112 (.616) faceoffs and grabbed 55 ground balls (6.1/game) during nine-game run to the title Turned in one of the top performances of his career in the win over Navy by winning 14-of-17 faceoffs and grabbing a career-high 12 ground balls 14 faceoffs won and 17 attempts were also career highs Effort came against a Navy team ranked in the top five in the nation in faceoff percentage Scored two goals, won 12-of-15 faceoffs and grabbed six ground balls against Towson Scored JHU[apos]s first goal, won 12-of-15 faceoffs and tied career high with 12 ground balls against Notre Dame in the first round of the NCAA Tournament Notched second career hat trick, won 3-of-6 faceoffs and grabbed four ground balls against Delaware in the NCAA Semifinals Punched his ticket onto the NCAA All-Tournament Team with a sparkling effort against Duke in the NCAA Championship game Scored two goals and added one assist, won 9-of-14 faceoffs and grabbed nine ground balls in the ring-clinching victory over the Blue Devils Won his first five faceoffs of the game and JHU won the first seven overall Assist and both goals in the title game came during an 8-2 first-half run that gave JHU a 10-4 halftime lead.
2006: Played in six games as a member of JHU[apos]s second midfield Scored four goals and added three assists for seven points Won 28-of-42 (.667) faceoffs and grabbed 19 ground balls Missed the first eight games of the season after suffering a broken jaw in the team[apos]s final preseason scrimmage Returned to action against Maryland and scored one goal, won 4-of-5 faceoffs and had three ground balls against the Terps Added one goal and won 1-of-3 faceoffs in the 9-8 win over Navy a week later Did not register a point, but may have been JHU[apos]s most instrumental player in the win over Towson as he won 13-of-16 faceoffs and grabbed a career-high eight ground balls 13 faceoffs won and 16 attempts were also then career-highs and the most in either category by a JHU player on the year Scored one goal, added one assist, grabbed three ground balls and won 4-of-7 faceoffs in the 13-3 win over Penn in the first round of the NCAA Tournament Closed season with a solid effort against Syracuse in the NCAA Quarterfinals Scored one goal and added one assist, won 5-of-8 faceoffs and grabbed two ground balls against the Orange Goal and assist both came during a game-ending 5-1 run for the Blue Jays that nearly helped overcome a 12-7 deficit in the final nine minutes.
2005: One of just two freshmen on the team to play in all 16 games Finished the season tied for eighth on the team in goals (10) and tied for 10th in points (10) Also won 12-of-27 (.444) faceoffs and had 23 ground balls Tallied the first goal of his career in the win over Princeton in the season-opener Won 6-of-7 faceoffs and had a career-high five ground balls in the win over Albany Posted the first two-goal game of his career in the win over Maryland and scored two goals, won 5-of-7 faceoffs and had five ground balls against Marist in the first round of the NCAA Tournament Posted the first hat trick of his career with a three-goal showing against Massachusetts in the NCAA Quarterfinals All three goals came in a span of less than nine minutes in the third quarter, including two that bookended a four-goal run that took just 78 seconds.
At Cold Spring Harbor: Four-sport standout as he played football, lacrosse, hockey and basketball Two-time All-American in lacrosse and a three-time All-Nassau County selection in football Was a Thorpe Award Finalist in football as a senior, when he was selected to the Golden 11 Scholar Athletes of Nassau County as well.

People are talking about Goldman equity trader Stephen Peyser, who is also a professional lacrosse player.
He’s mentioned in a Bloomberg News article about how his former Johns Hopkins classmate, pro-lacrosse player Paul Rabil, is tapping into his Wall Street network to build his brand and the sport’s image.
Wall Street firms have a habit of hiring lacrosse players. Just last year, Bloomberg Businessweek published a story about the “lacrosse mafia” linking a bunch of people in finance to the sport.
Since Peyser, 26, works in finance and plays professionally we decided to learn more about him. He should definitely be included in our hot-shot Wall Street athletes list in the future.
Pesyer, who is 6-foot-2 and weighs 215 lb., plays for the Long Island Lizards in the Major Lacrosse League. Before that, he played in the NLL for the NY Titans.
During undergrad, he played midfield for Hopkins and helped the team win two NCAA national championships. He graduated from Hopkins in 2008.
We also learned that he likes to eat avocados, enjoys skiing and that his brother Greg also works in finance and plays lacrosse professionally.
Before joining Goldman, he worked at JPMorgan Chase, FINRA records show.
