Saint Joseph Academy Summer Enrichment Program (SEP) offers scholastic, social and cultural enrichment opportunities for girls entering grades 7 and 8 for the 2023-2024 school year. Through a combination of academic, athletic and art opportunities, SEP creates an exciting environment that prepares girls for the challenges of high school while introducing them to their peers from an array of backgrounds. SEP is the perfect opportunity for girls to begin their journey as a Jaguar.
This program is designed to keep girls intrigued, engaged and challenged on an academic level. The hands-on curriculum allows them to explore new ideas through collaborative learning. Topics covered are taught by the Academy’s esteemed faculty.
Girls will establish an entrepreneurship mindset that allows them to think outside-of-the-box while using their critical thinking and problem-solving skills. While creating their own company, girls will explore how entrepreneurs get their ideas, how to refine concepts and the process for starting and operating successfully. Girls will also visit a local business to learn about the challenges and opportunities of entrepreneurship.

Led by Jaguar Head Coach and members of the softball team, this camp offers girls the ability to learn how to improve all-around softball skills, including an emphasis on hitting, bunting, fielding and throwing. In 2021, the Jaguar softball team became District Champions for the second time in the Academy’s history. Campers should bring a water bottle, softball mitt and athletic footwear. The Jaguar’s volleyball program has established itself as one of the top volleyball programs in the state of Ohio. In the last seven years the Jaguars won five District titles, three Regional Championships and have made three OHSAA Division I Final Four appearances. Supervised Lunch: A 30-minute supervised lunch break is available for girls attending an afternoon program that begins 30 minutes after their morning program concludes. Campers are responsible for bringing their own lunch and beverage.
Registration Deadline: Registration for individual programs will close two weeks prior to the first day of the camp. A camp t-shirt is not guaranteed for late registrations.
Refund Policy: No refunds will be processed after June 1, 2023 for June programs and July 1, 2023 for July programs unless Saint Joseph Academy cancels a camp due to unforeseen circumstances.
Grade Entering: When registering your daughter for a summer program, please use the grade she will be enrolled in for the 2023-2024 school year.

How many schools do you work in?
Our private school program consists of nearly 100 schools!
What cities are they located in?
We have schools all over the country. From big cities like New York to smaller cities like Green Bay, we have a school in the city for you.
Can students stay for 3?
Some of our schools allow students to participate in the 3 month program. Contact us for a list of schools that offer this.
Can students stay with their host families?
Yes, it is possible to stay with your own host family.
Do your schools have AP lessons?
Most of the schools in our program offer Advanced Placement courses.
Do your schools offer an International Baccalaureate program?
Yes, several F-1 Private Choice partner schools offer the IB program. Contact us! for more information on what schools do.”
Can you graduate in one year?
Some schools offer diplomas after one year of study. However, it usually takes two years.
Do you work with primary and secondary schools?

My American Experience
I decided to come to a school in the USA because I want to have a new experience and learn something new, like culture and language. My mom couldn’t let me come here for the first time, but I told her that I want to change my life by doing something new. The best thing about the USA is family and friends. I didn’t expect to have many friends and relationships, but I was wrong. I made many friends and I enjoyed every moment with them. I know that I can live alone, but it would be better to have friends. The most difficult thing for me is to say goodbye to them, but I believe that we will meet again.
An unforgettable experience
I will never forget this experience because of St. Joseph’s Academy in St. Augustine, my host family and all my teachers and coordinators! It’s all because my parents chose to host the SMG here. Indeed, when I first came to the United States through SMG, I was excited, but with a little panic! Every time I lose my lead in SMG and in the program I have participated in, there have always been mentors who have gone out of their way to help me achieve my success and I feel unparalleled comfort in such a wonderful program!
