How to choose a summer camp in the USA? Best Summer Camps in California
California summer camps offer some of the most popular educational and recreational programs for children. The “Golden State” of the USA opens up unique opportunities in the field of knowledge of American culture. The summer school programs include visits to world-famous attractions: the opportunity to get in touch with the workshop of making everyone’s favorite films in Hollywood, national parks, a visit to Disneyland, an excursion to the Golden Gate Bridge and visits to national parks – this is just a small part of those places that are the hallmark of the state. The excellent climate will make your stay in California especially comfortable: the proximity of the ocean provides summer freshness and coolness, and most of the state has a Mediterranean climate.
Features of courses with the study of English
In terms of compiling summer language courses for foreigners, California teachers have extensive experience and are famous all over the world. Camps in the USA are at the top of the study abroad rankings. The secret of successful teaching of English in language schools lies in the motto “learn a second language like a mother tongue”. Following this principle, a favorable environment is created in which learning turns into an exciting process of interaction with others. As a result of this approach, the child gets rid of the language barrier and complexes, quickly adapts and begins to speak English.
Leading California Programs
A range of unique programs will help Russian children experience the Californian way of life in California camps, thanks to which learning will turn into a real adventure story. So, for example, the course “Surfing and English” for students and schoolchildren over 14 years old offers about 10 surfing lessons and about 20 English lessons. The course “Cinema and English” will reveal to its students the secrets of writing a Hollywood script, the features of working with a camera, tell about what shooting techniques are, children will become participants in the editing of short videos. There is also a course aimed at mastering acting skills, the final touch of which will be a recording with your performance. Exploratory courses will help your child enjoy the California summer and get to know its unique flora and fauna.
Camp specializations and prices
