Founder and Camp Director
Owned and operated by Yogev Berdugo, a rising star in skill development and coaching in the country today. Yogev is a former D1 NCAA college basketball player and professional player in Israel. Upon founding Step It Up in 2009, we set out on a journey to advance the game of basketball. Since day one we have stayed true to our craft with an unwavering commitment to skill development, character development and daily growth. As we enter our seventh year, the hard work is paying off. The feedback from players and parents has been tremendous and the results are apparent on and off the court. Year round, Yogev, lends his expertise in consulting for high school and middle school teams by implementing different schemes, running skills clinics and designing practice plans and full season curriculums.
In the springtime, Yogev develops current and perspective NBA Players for the NBA Draft as well as European Leagues.
Yogev served as assistant men’s basketball coach at Yeshiva University where he helped build a winning tradition along with coach Elliot Steinmetz. The two established a fast paced yet methodical offense. Yeshiva University has recently come off of a 50 game winning streak dating back to Feb 2019. Out of 400 D3 basketball teams YU ranks top 5 in both FG %, Total Offense and Assists per game. Half of YU’s rosters as well as 3 impact players for the Yeshiva University Maccabees are Step It Up kids and that makes us so happy. Go Macs!

Coming to Sixers Camp as a kid from Europe in 98, I was blessed with the opportunity to taste the U.S. Basketball culture. My 4 week experience at camp introduced me to the speed, athleticism, skill and mentality of U.S. Basketball. It ultimately surfaced as my foundation to my belief in hard work and excellence and propelled me into a lifelong love for the game of basketball.
Lukas Varga
From the time I was nine until I was seventeen, 76ers Basketball Camp was my summer home. Even though I was never the most gifted basketball player, the work I put in at 76ers Camp provided me with the groundwork to be a successful player. I would often improve more in the 2 weeks at 76ers Camp than I would for the entire rest of the year.
