I wanted to test out a few different tools I was building in After Effects and ended up making an earlier (less polished) version of this as an experiment. A majority of the elements are controlled by custom expressions, allowing the animation to generate automatically based on a single control layer. The isometric pilars are programmed to react to the the music using Sound Keys. In all, I created 4 different videos for the EP – one for each song.
