RABI AL AVWAL
Dear brothers and sisters! Expensive
compatriots!
barakatuhu! Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah Almighty!
The coming month is special for us Muslims
and is called in Arabic Rabi al Awwal, which means the beginning
spring.
This month contains a day of joy, grace and hope for
believers.
Celebration of the birth of Mawlid the Messenger of Allah – celebrated in Muslim
lunar calendar on the night of the 12th day of the month of Rabi al-Awwal. More accurate it
the name “Mawlid an-nabi” – “the birth of the Prophet.” The holiday is dedicated to the date
the death of the Prophet on the 12th Rabi al-awwal, for death, according to Islam, is nothing
other than being born to eternal life.
This night is the most precious for us after the Night of Predestination (Al Qadr). those
who in these days and on the Night of the birth prays and offers thanksgiving words
the birth of a prophet, sins are forgiven. In the month of Mawlid, a great boon is
reading, listening, recounting the miraculous events of the night in which our
Prophet. By this time, the instructions of Allah to the previous peoples were forgotten and
distorted, all the countries of the world were engulfed in barbarism and atrocities.
The birth of the Prophet Muhammad was a harbinger of the coming of the true faith –
Islam. The birth of Muhammad began to be celebrated only 300 years after the arrival
Islam. Since the exact date of Muhammad’s birth is unknown, Mawlid was
timed to coincide with the day of his death, which leaves an imprint on the nature of the celebration.
The most pious deed on the days of celebrating the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad
may be visiting the grave of the Messenger of Allah in Medina, praying in
his mosques. Not everyone succeeds, but everyone should read prayers dedicated to
Muhammad, both in the mosque and at home. “Thanks be to Allah for giving us
The prophet who brought us out of darkness into the light gave us what we did not have. Yes
Allah bless and greet him.” With such or similar words glorify
Muslims of their Prophet.
Participation in Mawlid requires certain behavior. It is important that it be
sincere intention (niyat). Any impious
thoughts. Going to Mawlid, it is necessary to perform a ritual ablution and anoint
permitted incense. When celebrating Mawlid, one should renounce
worldly fuss: worldly difficulties, desires, doubts. Month of giving to the Prophet
eternal life can become for us the month of the Muslim call. Holding
Mawlida does not cancel for a Muslim the fulfillment of his obligation to perform prayer,
fasting and other duties of a Muslim. Majlises of the month of Mawlid are not
should coincide with the time of prayer.
God bless us to do good deeds!

Muslim prayer at night for children and adults to sleep peacefully
The rules for Muslims to go to sleep have been known since the time of the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.v.), who left us the most precious set of rules (Sunnah) while living according to which a believer in Allah can become a true Muslim, comprehending all the virtues of Islam. An important place in the Sunnah is also given to sleep – after all, the Almighty created the night so that Muslims could sleep, restore their strength to perform the necessary worldly affairs.

Rules preparation for sleep for Muslims
According to the Sunnah, a Muslim should go to bed immediately after the witr prayer, the last prayer of the passing day – this is exactly what the Prophet did. But first you need to get ready for sleep according to the Sunnah. And preparing Muslims for bed means the following – you need to perform ablution, brush your teeth, then put on clothes for sleep and read the dua before going to bed. After that, you need to shake off the bedspread and sheets, ridding them of any rubbish and you can go to bed. But before that, to calm your thoughts, you can read the Quran at night – the fact has long been proven that by reading the Quran before going to bed, and then making a dua for a good sleep or reading a short prayer before going to bed, a person sleeps better.
But the sleeping position also has its subtleties – you need to sleep on your right side with your hand under your cheek. The legs need to be slightly bent, and the face (if possible) should be turned towards the Kaaba. Before you go to bed, you need to cleanse your heart of resentment, anger and all that is wicked – the precepts of the Prophet (pbuh) forbid Muslims to sleep, keeping negative emotions in their hearts. In addition, before going to bed, you need to say another prayer, turning to the Almighty.
Going to bed late is not advised by doctors, because the deepest phase of sleep usually ends between 1 and 2 am. It is during this phase that a person receives maximum rest, replenishes the energy spent on the previous day, and also the maximum production of hormones responsible for human productivity for the next day occurs. Roughly the same was said by Muhammad (s.a.w.) advising to go to bed earlier.
When and at what time it is recommended to read
Duas for the night are read in the interval of time when the obligatory Isha prayer has already been read, followed by Witr prayer, but before the Muslim falls asleep. It is advisable to read a prayer for the night every day, because the dua protects from shaitan, thus keeping the soul and thoughts of a Muslim clean. It does not matter when a Muslim is about to go to sleep – in the evening or late at night, the dua will protect him from the machinations of the devil.
In addition, the completed Muslim prayer before going to bed, as well as the reading of the sura at night, provide the praying person with a peaceful sleep and accomplishment of everything planned for the next day – after all, if a Muslim remembers Allah in any of his deeds, then the Almighty will generously reward him for doing good deeds with the mention of his name, and going to bed is no exception. Especially valuable is the reading of night prayers on the night of Al Qadr – the Night of Predestination.
Rules for reading the dua at night before going to bed
So, having completed the necessary procedures (ablution, hygiene procedures and shaking off the bed), you can start praying, lying down on your right side facing the Kaaba. In total, the prayers that the Prophet (s.a.v.) read, there are nine.
The Prophet (s.a.w.) began with the dua “Bismika Allahum ma amutuu wa ahya”, then he read “Allahum ma inii aslyamtu vajhi ilyaika wa favvadtu amrmi ilyaika wa aljaatu zahri ilyaika raghbattan wa raghbattan ilyaika. La malja wa la manjaa minkaa ilya ilyaika. Allahum ma amantuu bi kitabiika layazzi anzaltaa wa bi nabiyika layazzi arsalta.”
Having finished reading this dua, the Prophet (S.A.V.) proceeded to the next dua: “Bismika raabbi vadaatu janbii wa bika arfaa uuhu in amsagta nafsi farhamha wain arsalttaha fahfazzhaa bima tahfazu bihi iibadaka as-salihin”
90 020 Next dua, revered by the Prophet (s. a.w.) was “subhanallah” – repeat “Subhanallah” 33 times, repeat “Alhamdulillah” 33 times and repeat “Allahu Akbar” 33 times.
The fifth dua was the supplication “Allahum ma kini aazzabaka yavma tabaassu iibadaka” wala muvvia.” He recited this dua with his right hand under his cheek.0007
The seventh was the dua “Allahum ma halyaktaa nafsi wa antaa tawaffaha lyakka mamatuha wa maghyaha in ahyaitaha fahfazha wain amattaha faghfir llaha. Allahum ma inii assaluk-l-aafiyah.
The Eighth Prophet (S.A.V.) read “Allahum ma inii aauzzu bivajhika-l-karimiy wa kalimatica tammati min sharriya ma antta akhihuun binasyatihi. Allahum ma antta takshiful-maghrama wa-l-maghsama. Allahum ma lla yukhzamu dzhundukka wa lla yughlafu vaaduka wa lla yanfaau zaal jaddii minka-l jaaddu. Subhanaka wa bihamdika.”
And he recited the last dua “Bismillahi vadaat janbiya. Allahummaghfirli zanbii wa akhsiy shaytani wa fuqa rihani vajaalni fin-nadiyil aala.
It is not always possible for a modern Muslim to memorize all nine dua, but in this case a different approach is used – at night you can read verses and suras from the Koran, the text of which will be given below. In terms of their strength, they are not inferior to the above duas, which is recognized by many ulema of various madhhabs.
Muslim prayers at night before going to bed
If it is difficult to remember the nine duas that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) made before going to bed, what you need to say to Muslims before going to bed, you can do the following – fold your palms with the sides, blow into them and successively read three suras from the Qur’an – “Al Ikhlas”:
“Kul huf Allahu ahade Allahu as-samad, lam iyalidi wa lam yuuladi, wa lam iyakullaahhu kufuaan ahadi.”
Then surah Al Falak is read:
“Bismillahi Rahmaani Rakhim. Kul ayuzu bi rabbil falak. Min shaari ma halak. Wa min shaari gaasikin izze wakaab. Wa min shaari inaffaas aati fil-uukad. Wa min shaari haasiddin izze hasaad”
After which follows Surah “An Nas”:
“Bismillahi Rahmanir Rahim, kul aauzu birabbain of us, malikiin of us, illahiin of us. Miin shariil vasuasil khan naas. Al llazi iuvasvisuu fi suduriin us. Minal jannati van-nas.”
Having finished reading these suras, you need to run your palms over your face and body, covering it with the protection bestowed by reading these suras. One of the authentic hadiths states that the one who does this acquires protection from everything bad that can lead a pious Muslim astray.
After that, the ayat “Al Kursi” from the surah “Al Bakara” is read. Reading this verse gives the Muslim protection from the shaitan and his intrigues, and also does not allow the evil one to even get close to the one who read this verse before going to bed.
“Allahu lla illaha illa huaal hayyul kaayum, lla tahuzuhuu sinatuun wala naum. Llahu mafi samawwati wa ma fil aard, man zallaiziy yashfauu indahuu illa biiznihi, yaalyamu ma binaa aidiihim wa ma haalfahum, wala yuhiitunaa bisheiin min iilmihi illa bima sh’aa wasiya kursiyuhu samawwati wal ard, wa la and auduhuu hifzuhuuma wa hual aaliyul aaziim”
After that, you can read a dua before going to bed or any prayer from those indicated in the previous section. However, many Muslims, at the insistence of theologians, read the dua “Allahum ma qinni azabaqaa yauma tabasuu ibadaaq”
dua gives a Muslim protection from internal evil, which can come from the person himself. Below are these verses from the sura at bedtime in Russian transcription:
Ayat 285
“Amanaar rasullu bima unzilla ileihi peace rabihi wal-muuminuun, kulluun amanaa billahi wa malyaikyatihi wa kutubikhiya wa rusullihi, lla nufarrikuu beina ahadim world rusuliikh, wa kalyuu samiina wa ataana, khufranaka rabbana wa ilyaikal masiir.”
Ayat 286
“Lla yukalliful llahu nafsan illaa wusahaa, llaha me kasebat wa aaleihu maktesebat, rabbana lla tuahizna in nasiina ayu akhtanaa, rabbana wa lla taghmil aalei naa israan kama hemeltahu aalal lyaziina min kabliinaa, rabbana walla tukhamiilna mallla tookate lyaniibikh , wafu aannaa vaghfir laana varhaamna, enta mawlana fensuurnaa aalal kaumiil kaafirin.
After that, you can still read the dua about forgiveness and erasure of sins:
“La ilaha illa Allahu, wahdahu la sharika lyahu, lahul mulkku, wa lahul hamdu, wa huva aala kuli shayyin kadir. Wa la hawla, wa la kuwaata illa billah. Subhanallahi walhamdulillahi wa la illaha illa llahu wallahu akbar!”
Muslim prayer for a child to sleep well
It is no less important for a child to get enough sleep than for an adult, however, many theologians believe that the prayer of a minor (according to the canons of Islam) is not considered perfect. In such cases, in order to protect the child or baby from all the bad things – for example, fear, Islam requires prayer before bedtime to be read to his parents – while they usually perform the same prayers and dua for children before going to bed that adults do for themselves. Thus, the Muslim prayer at night for children is identical to the prayer for adults, and children are also told what older Muslims should say before going to bed. Also, a pious Muslim should read a prayer over the child in the morning, thanking the Almighty for the calm sleep of the baby and giving the child awakening.
But there is one dua aimed specifically at making the child fall asleep sooner or stop being naughty before going to bed, you can use Islamic ruqya (a permitted spell in Islam that even helps to remove the evil eye).
