Ludmila Dimitrova started her career as a gymnast in Bulgaria, which has become one of the leading countries in rhythmic gymnastics for many. After finishing her career as an athlete, she continued to study at the National Sports Academy in Sofia (Bulgaria), which has trained many world-famous coaches.
After graduating from the NSA as one of the top students, Lucy began her career as a coach.
After thirty-six years of practice, she has become one of the leading coaches and choreographers in rhythmic gymnastics. For sixteen years she worked as a coach of the national team of Bulgaria, one of the leading in the world. In the mid-1990s, Irina Viner-Usmanova invited her to work with the Russian national team. Together they have worked for 25 years and continue to cooperate at the moment.
With her performances, gymnasts have repeatedly become winners of the Olympic Games (Atlanta, Sydney, Greece, China, London, Rio De Janeiro), World and European Championships. She worked with the world’s best gymnasts, including Olympic champions Alina Kabaeva, Yulia Barsukova and Evgenia Kanaeva, Olympic medalists Irina Chashchina and Yana Batyrshina, as well as Alexandra Soldatova, Daria Kondakova, Natalia Lipkovskaya, Amina Zaripova, Laysan Utyasheva, Vera Sesina, Olga Kapranova , Aliya Garayeva, Almudena Sidtostado, Carolina Rodriguez, Jennifer Colino, Bianca Panova, Dimitrinka Todorova, Aliya Yusupova, Anna Alyabyeva, Elina Adilkhanova, Emily Livingstone, Mary Sanders, Alexandra Orlando, Camila Martens and many others.
Lucy Dimitrova also puts on compositions for group exercises. Acted as a director of sports shows.
Lucy also worked with the Canadian national team for ten years and was the head coach of the Spanish national team for five years. All these years she has worked a lot with all countries of the world as a choreographer (Australia, Austria, England, America, China, Porto Rico, Cyprus, Greece, Belgium, France, Germany, South Korea, Venezuela, Mexico, Monaco, Italy, Japan, South Africa, etc.).

International Freediving Judge Course from March 5-7, 2021
90 006 Registration for the AIDA Freediving Judge Training Course is now open. At the end of the course, certification for the international category E is carried out (subject to successful passing of the final exam-test).
Judge category E has the right to referee any international competition around the world and be an assistant at the world championships. And then it all depends on the judge himself. With a set of experience, there is an increase in the senior categories and it becomes possible to be elected to the jury of the world championships. With the growth of professional skills and reputation, invitations to prestigious competitions begin to arrive.
The work of an AIDA judge is, first of all, a high responsibility, since the judge represents AIDA at the competition, monitors compliance with the Rules, controls and advises the organizer on all aspects of the organization of the competition, resolves disputes, resolves conflicts and much more.
The Judges course will also be very useful for those who are actively involved in sports freediving. We will analyze the nuances of the Rules, the structure of the competition, the preparation and control procedures. Athletes, coaches and insurers will receive a lot of important and useful information.

- Minimum age is 18;

- experience as a competitor or safety freediver in at least one AIDA-rated event;
- AIDA National membership (membership required prior to course start). Information about membership in AIDA Russia
- knowledge of English is highly desirable. We will work with the original version of the Rules and Rules of the Judges.
