How does the MoGo Sport Youth Fruit Punch Flavored Mouthguard revolutionize oral protection in sports. What makes this mouthguard stand out from traditional options. Why should athletes consider switching to a flavored mouthguard for enhanced comfort and safety.
Revolutionary Flavor Technology: A New Era in Mouthguard Design
The MoGo Sport Youth Fruit Punch Flavored Mouthguard introduces a groundbreaking approach to oral protection in sports. Unlike conventional mouthguards, MoGo’s innovative design incorporates flavor directly into the plastic material. This unique feature sets it apart from competitors who typically apply flavor coatings that wear off quickly.
How does this flavor integration work? MoGo’s proprietary technology embeds the flavor within the plastic itself, ensuring a long-lasting taste experience that persists through multiple games and practices. This advancement addresses a common complaint among athletes: the unpleasant taste of traditional mouthguards.
Key Features of MoGo’s Flavored Mouthguards:
- Embedded flavor technology for lasting taste
- Quick-release tether for convenience
- Designed for maximum comfort and performance
- Enhanced protection and breathability
- All-natural flavor ingredients
- FDA compliant and BPA-free materials
Sizing and Fit: Ensuring Proper Protection for All Ages
MoGo offers two distinct sizes to cater to different age groups:
- Adult Size: Suitable for individuals 12 years and older
- Youth Size: Designed for children 11 years and younger
This age-based sizing ensures that athletes of all levels can find a mouthguard that provides optimal protection and comfort. But how does one achieve the perfect fit? MoGo provides detailed fitting instructions to help users customize their mouthguard for maximum effectiveness.
The Importance of Proper Fitting
A correctly fitted mouthguard is crucial for several reasons:
- Enhanced protection against dental injuries
- Improved comfort during wear
- Optimal flavor release
- Longevity of the product
The Fitting Process: A Step-by-Step Guide to Customization
Achieving the perfect fit with a MoGo mouthguard requires attention to detail and careful execution. Here’s a simplified overview of the fitting process:
- Prepare hot water (approximately 180°F) and ice water
- Submerge the mouthguard in hot water for 40-50 seconds
- Briefly dip in room temperature water
- Place in mouth, aligning with upper teeth
- Bite down and mold for 80 seconds
- Set in ice water for 5 minutes
This process allows for a custom fit that conforms to the unique dental structure of each user. Why is this customization so important? It ensures that the mouthguard provides maximum protection while maintaining comfort and allowing for clear speech and easy breathing.
User Experience: Comfort, Flavor, and Performance
Athletes who have tried the MoGo Sport Flavored Mouthguard report a significant improvement in their experience compared to traditional options. One user, reviewing the Orange Flavored variant, noted several key benefits:
Fit and Comfort
The reviewer rated the fit as 8 out of 10, describing it as “the best fitting mouthguard I’ve ever worn.” They highlighted the mouthguard’s unique design features, including:
- Risers in the molar area for improved comfort
- A guard across the bottom teeth facilitating easier breathing and speaking
- A design that doesn’t ride high into the gums, reducing discomfort during impacts
Flavor Experience
The flavor received a perfect 10 out of 10 rating. Unlike previous models that lost flavor quickly, the current MoGo mouthguard maintained its taste even after extended use. The reviewer noted that after 15 minutes of continuous wear and chewing, the orange flavor remained “perfectly orange, not overpowering.”
Safety First: The Critical Role of Mouthguards in Sports
While the flavor and comfort of MoGo mouthguards are significant selling points, it’s crucial to remember the primary purpose of these devices: protection. How do mouthguards contribute to athlete safety?
- Reduce the risk of dental injuries
- Help prevent concussions by absorbing impact
- Protect soft tissues in the mouth from cuts and bruises
The reviewer emphasizes this point, stating, “Concussions are no joke.” This underscores the importance of wearing a properly fitted mouthguard in contact sports, regardless of age or skill level.
Comparing MoGo to Traditional Mouthguards: A Clear Advantage
What sets MoGo apart from conventional mouthguards? Let’s examine the key differences:
Feature | Traditional Mouthguards | MoGo Flavored Mouthguards |
---|---|---|
Flavor | None or quickly fading | Long-lasting, embedded flavor |
Comfort | Often bulky and uncomfortable | Designed for improved fit and breathability |
Customization | Limited or requiring professional fitting | Easy at-home customization process |
Material Safety | Varies | FDA compliant and BPA-free |
These differences highlight why many athletes are making the switch to MoGo mouthguards. The combination of safety, comfort, and an enjoyable flavor experience addresses many of the common complaints associated with traditional mouthguards.
Beyond Fruit Punch: Exploring MoGo’s Flavor Range
While this review focuses on the Fruit Punch flavor, MoGo offers a variety of taste options to suit different preferences. The Orange flavor, for instance, received high praise from the reviewer. But what other flavors are available?
- Fruit Punch
- Orange
- Lemon
- Mint
- Bubble Gum
This diverse range allows athletes to choose a flavor that not only provides protection but also enhances their overall sporting experience. Does the choice of flavor affect performance? While there’s no scientific evidence to suggest it does, the psychological boost of wearing a mouthguard with a preferred flavor could potentially improve an athlete’s focus and enjoyment of the game.
The Science Behind Flavored Mouthguards: More Than Just Taste
MoGo’s flavored mouthguards aren’t just a gimmick; there’s science behind their design. How does flavoring a mouthguard potentially improve its effectiveness?
- Increased Usage: Athletes are more likely to wear a mouthguard that tastes good, leading to better protection.
- Salivation: Flavors can stimulate saliva production, which helps keep the mouth moist and comfortable during physical activity.
- Reduced Anxiety: A pleasant taste can help reduce nervousness before and during competitions.
- Breath Freshening: Certain flavors, like mint, can help combat “sports breath” during intense activities.
These benefits combine to create a mouthguard that not only protects but also enhances the overall athletic experience. Is this approach backed by research? While specific studies on flavored mouthguards are limited, the principles of flavor science and psychology support the potential benefits of this innovative design.
The Role of Natural Ingredients
MoGo emphasizes the use of all-natural ingredients in their flavoring process. Why is this important?
- Reduced risk of allergic reactions
- Minimized exposure to artificial chemicals
- Alignment with health-conscious consumer preferences
This commitment to natural ingredients reflects a broader trend in sports equipment towards safer, more environmentally friendly materials.
Maintenance and Longevity: Caring for Your MoGo Mouthguard
To ensure the best performance and longest lifespan from a MoGo mouthguard, proper care is essential. How should athletes maintain their flavored mouthguards?
- Rinse with cool water after each use
- Store in a ventilated case to prevent bacterial growth
- Avoid exposure to high temperatures, which can warp the mouthguard
- Replace the mouthguard if it shows signs of wear or damage
By following these simple steps, athletes can maintain the integrity of their mouthguard, ensuring continued protection and flavor enjoyment. How long can a MoGo mouthguard last with proper care? While individual experiences may vary, many users report their mouthguards maintaining shape and flavor for an entire sports season or longer.
When to Replace Your Mouthguard
Even with excellent care, all mouthguards have a limited lifespan. Signs that it’s time for a replacement include:
- Visible wear or thinning of the material
- Difficulty maintaining proper fit
- Significant loss of flavor (for MoGo mouthguards)
- Any cracks or tears in the mouthguard
Regular inspection of your mouthguard can help ensure you’re always using equipment that provides optimal protection.
The Future of Sports Protection: Innovations in Mouthguard Technology
MoGo’s flavored mouthguards represent just one aspect of the ongoing innovation in sports protection technology. What other advancements are we seeing in the field of mouthguards?
- Smart Mouthguards: Equipped with sensors to detect and measure impacts
- Antimicrobial Materials: Reducing the risk of bacterial growth
- Custom 3D-Printed Guards: Offering precise fits based on digital scans
- Biodegradable Options: Addressing environmental concerns
These innovations suggest a future where mouthguards not only provide better protection but also contribute to athlete performance monitoring and overall health. How might MoGo incorporate these technologies into their flavored mouthguard line? The potential for combining flavor technology with smart sensors or antimicrobial materials could lead to even more advanced protective gear in the coming years.
The Role of Athlete Feedback in Product Development
Companies like MoGo rely heavily on athlete feedback to refine and improve their products. The positive review of the Orange flavored mouthguard demonstrates the importance of user experience in driving innovation. How can athletes contribute to the development of better mouthguards?
- Participating in product testing
- Providing detailed feedback on comfort, fit, and flavor
- Suggesting new features or improvements
- Sharing real-world experiences with the product
This collaborative approach between manufacturers and athletes ensures that future mouthguard designs will continue to meet the evolving needs of sports participants at all levels.
Making the Switch: Is a Flavored Mouthguard Right for You?
With the numerous benefits offered by MoGo’s flavored mouthguards, many athletes are considering making the switch from traditional options. But how can you determine if a flavored mouthguard is the right choice for your needs?
Factors to Consider:
- Sport-specific requirements
- Personal comfort preferences
- Flavor sensitivity
- Budget considerations
- League or team regulations
While the benefits of flavored mouthguards are clear, it’s important to remember that individual needs may vary. Some athletes may prefer the familiarity of traditional mouthguards, while others may find the flavor and improved comfort of MoGo’s offerings to be a game-changer.
Trying Before Committing
Given the personal nature of mouthguard preferences, how can athletes make an informed decision? Many sports equipment retailers offer the opportunity to try on mouthguards before purchase. Additionally, some teams and leagues may provide samples for players to test. Taking advantage of these opportunities can help ensure that you choose the mouthguard that best suits your needs and preferences.
Ultimately, the decision to switch to a flavored mouthguard like those offered by MoGo should be based on a combination of factors including comfort, protection, and personal preference. The positive reviews and innovative features of MoGo’s products suggest that for many athletes, making the switch could lead to a more enjoyable and safer sports experience.

MoGo Sport Orange Flavored Mouthguard Review
Yep it’s official I’m doing a review on a mouthguard, as a men’s league player where it’s not required but definitely a great idea. Well for all you younger players you should always wear a mouth guard it’s the best thing to protect you from a concussion and yeah they are nasty, uncomfortable, and you have to mold them….until now for the most part. MOGO has changed the game with their flavored mouthguards, but please seriously guys mold it for your safety. Concussions are no joke.
I’ve worn many mouth guards over the years playing football, hockey, lacrosse, martial arts you name it I’ve tried a lot of sports. I have had many competitor’s mouth guards even a custom one made by my orthodontist (which I chewed through like every other one) they all had some level of discomfort or tasted like old plastic. When I tried this MOGO mouthguard I figured same old same old and man was I wrong the taste is light but enjoyable and the fit is unbelievable.
Fit Rating 8 out of 10. Yes this is the best fitting mouthguard I’ve ever worn but at the same time it’s a little long for me and I am still getting used to it. The mouth guard actually has risers in the molar area and a guard across the bottom teeth allowing easy breathing and speaking. It seemed tight before I molded it but it widened out and fit my teeth perfectly with some hot water. This mouth guard doesn’t ride high into the gums like some of the newer mouth guards out either so no worries there when taking a big hit. So yes there is some preference on length but I’m sure it’s there for my safety so I can’t say it is really a bad thing.
Flavor 10 out of 10. The guys at the office know me all too well. I love orange flavored anything basically. This being said last year’s model was a little strong at first then whittled off into a used chewing gum flavor after awhile. My method of testing here, wear this thing non-stop for 15 minutes straight while chewing on it. The flavor is still awesome. It’s still perfectly orange, not suffocatingly so, but just enough to make you WANT to wear your mouth guard and their new flavors this year.
Durability 9 out of 10. Yes this is an important factor when it comes to mouth guards with all the mouth guards I’ve owned the longest lasting two have been a TAPOUT and a $1 generic mouth guard I wore in college. They both didn’t make it through a season. I chew a lot on them like a lot of laxers do and it ruins them. I feel very strongly this mouth guard is going to last a very long time. I have been chewing during my flavor test and no teeth marks are visible. It feels super sturdy, but not like a rock overall which is very nice.
Overall, this mouth guard rates a 9 out of 10 for me. I really like this mouth guard and will be wearing it Sunday in my indoor game. For those of you looking for a solid guard for the season I really do recommend a MOGO in your flavor of choice, make sure to mold it though guys they are meant to be molded and work best that way.

Boxing mouthguard – RealBoxing.ru Blog
To prevent all the money earned in the ring from being spent on dental procedures, boxers use a mouth guard – a “rubber” lining for teeth, which simultaneously has such properties as flexibility and rigidity, which allow not to injure the boxers’ teeth and gums. Capa is used not only during fights, but also in training.
Types and characteristics cap
Mouthguards can be divided into two main types – single-jawed and double-jawed. Most professional boxers use single mouth guards because they are comfortable, breathable and absorb shock well, removing up to 40% of the shock load from the brain.
Boxing mouth guard MOGO 1-jaw
A two-jaw cap is different in that, as the name implies, it fixes and closes the teeth of both the upper and lower jaws. Ensuring the correct and safe position of the jaws, which in some cases greatly reduces the likelihood of knockouts and knockdowns. Due to their design features, such mouth guards make it difficult to breathe, because when the jaw is clamped, air enters through several narrow holes. Such caps provide the maximum level of protection for the athlete’s teeth and brain, therefore they are used mainly by professional, well-trained athletes.
Mouthguards are also divided into thermoplastic, individual. The vast majority of mouthguards used by boxers are of the first type. These mouthguards can be as simple and cheap as multi-piece, complex and expensive.
The disadvantages of cheap simple molded caps are usually the minimum thickness, simple materials and often chemical taste, and most importantly, of course, a weak level of protection.
Mouth guards are structural, multi-piece, provide a high level of protection, ease of fit and use. These mouthguards combine materials in their composition, have up to 5 layers and provide excellent protection for the teeth.
As for individual caps, they are made by dentists, according to an individual cast of the athlete’s teeth. These mouthguards fit perfectly on the jaw, fix it relative to the other jaw and allow you to breathe without difficulty. However, such a cap does not significantly reduce the level of load on the brain, since it is poured from a mono material, and primarily performs the function of protecting the teeth.
A good boxing mouth guard can also increase a fighter’s strength, as it has neuromuscular activity, due to which the muscles of the back, neck and shoulders of the athlete are not overextended.
Mouth preparation
In order for a mouthguard to be used, it must be tailored to your individual characteristics. To do this, the mouthguard needs to be “cooked”. Or heat treated. This is done with hot water. The process of “cooking” is quite simple, but a lot of mistakes are made. So you will need boiling water, not a deep wide glass, a mirror and running water. After the water has boiled, pour it into a glass, take a mouth guard and lower it into boiling water, hold it there for 20 to 70 seconds (depending on the mouthguard model), then take out the mouth guard and place it for 1-3 seconds under warm running water (not cold), so as not to burn the gums with boiling water, then, looking in the mirror, put the mouthguard in your mouth and bite it with the usual “snack”. Control this moment, you should not be like the Terminator, the hero of Clint Eastwood or Chuck Norris. In the mirror, you should see yourself, with your usual facial expression and jaw position. It is important! After you have bitten the mouth guard, with your fingers you smooth the outer plastic layer of the mouth guard along the gums, while simultaneously doing the same with your tongue from the inside. Then we take out the cap and place it under cold running water. The cap is set and ready to use.
Such preparation of capa takes no more than 10-15 minutes, taking into account the boiling of water. The finished product will conform to the structure of the teeth and sit tightly on the jaw without falling off when hit. If the mouth guard turned out to be not very accurately fitted to the jaw, it is better to “digest” it. Be sure to specify the cooking time in the instructions that usually come with the cap.
Video “How to cook mouth guard”
For well-known professional boxers, mouth guards are prepared by their dentists based on a cast of the jaw, which allows the mouth guard to perfectly match the structure of the athlete’s jaws. Such caps are especially durable, have no taste and smell, do not interfere with breathing.
Who makes mouthguards
Like any other product that we buy, mouthguards are better to choose the brand or company that specializes in the production of these particular products. With protective gear, this rule is especially true! It is these companies that, as a rule, take production more seriously, have patented technologies and conduct their own research in this area. One of the most popular, if not the most popular mouthguard manufacturer is Shock Doctor, which uses innovative quality materials to make boxing mouthguards and mouthguards for other sports.
Boxing mouth guard SHOCK DOCTOR PRO
The company announced guarantee payments (10-15 thousand dollars) to those who lose their teeth in mouth guards manufactured by Shock Doctor.
Another brand – Everlast, is widely known as a manufacturer of equipment for boxing, produces mouthguards from modern polymeric materials of the highest quality for professionals, amateurs, women and children.
Everlast has a mouth guard for any boxer, regardless of their level of training or gender.
Mouthguard EVERLAST EverShield 1-jaw
Everlast has a mouth guard for any boxer, regardless of their level of training or gender.
The Bad Boy brand is also known among professionals and amateurs, especially the Bad Boy Pro mouth guard. This product is characterized by a tight fit to the jaw and the high quality of the materials from which it is made, as well as the presence of additional pillows for protection.
Title Boxing is also well-known in the world of boxing, although it started its activity in the production of boxing equipment only 18 years ago. Professionals compare the quality of products and, in particular, caps with the Shock Doctor brand. Mouthguards produced by Title Boxing meet the highest demands of athletes and provide comfort and protection, both in sparring and in title fights.
Care tips
It is best to store the mouthguard in an antibacterial case. After training or competition, be sure to brush with toothpaste and rinse with cold water. If the cap is damaged, it must be replaced. A cap can last long enough if you follow these simple rules.

The world’s first mouthguard with a pleasant refreshing taste
Although all modern mouthguards are made from high quality food grade materials, third-party flavors can still appear in the mouth after prolonged wear, which are very annoying. Mogo tried to get rid of this problem, and they succeeded perfectly: this model has the taste and aroma of real chewing gum, so it will be especially pleasant to wear it. Moreover, the presence of a pleasant aroma stimulates increased salivation, as a result of which the oral cavity will not dry out and will not cause you discomfort. Flavors are made exclusively from natural ingredients, in addition, they are embedded in the material itself, so that you can enjoy the smell and taste throughout the entire life of the mouthguard. If we talk about protection, it is worth noting that the front part is slightly enlarged for effective shock absorption and distribution of energy over the entire area. And enlarged ventilation channels allow you to breathe freely during active physical exertion, which helps to achieve high results. Also included is a special strap: it is designed to quickly remove the tray from the mouth. And with it, you can attach the protector to the helmet, so as not to accidentally drop it and not lose it.
Some sports oblige you to wear not only a sports uniform, but also protective equipment. A sports bag with several capacious departments will help you neatly and compactly fold all your things.

Three-layer construction for the best protection
If you are into sports such as martial arts, boxing, wrestling, where quite strong blows to the face are possible even during training, then this mouth guard is a must for you. Its main advantage is the effective protection of the jawbone and front teeth, as well as the absorption of significant force from impact, which will minimize pain and the likelihood of injury. This result was achieved due to a special design consisting of three layers:
- the outer layer is made of very dense rubber, and it practically does not come into contact with the gums to avoid their inflammation;
- in the middle is a special cushioning insert that reduces impact energy: it is the key element for the best protection of all your teeth;
- food-grade plastic inner layer allows you to comfortably wear the mouth guard for a long time without causing gum irritation. And since the model belongs to the thermoplastic type, it is this part that has the ability to change shape for the best fit of the jaw.
The only thing is that there is no hole in the front to attach the mouth guard to a protective helmet, so it is not recommended for use in sports such as rugby or hockey. The rest of the protector will be your salvation from the strong blows of the opponent.
To train your muscles at home, we recommend purchasing a horizontal bar: it will not take up much space in the apartment, but with it you can build a beautiful body and achieve muscle relief.

Great solution for contact sports
If we talk about the production of protective equipment for contact sports such as boxing, kickboxing, karate, mixed martial arts, then in this case you need a very light and at the same time reliable mouthguard. After all, you must admit that nothing should interfere with you during the battle and make it difficult for you to breathe. This compact model boasts a small footprint, but its carefully designed design minimizes the force of impact, thereby minimizing the chance of knocking out or chipping teeth from a direct hit to the jaw. The cap will fit snugly to the teeth, because it can change shape, perfectly adapting to your individual bite. All that needs to be done to “fit” is to heat the water to a temperature of 75-80 ° Celsius, and then place the tray inside. It softens incredibly quickly, so literally after 10-15 seconds you need to take out the mouthguard and let it cool down a bit. After that, tightly fasten it tightly to the upper jaw, pressing firmly with the lower teeth. As a result, the material will take the ideal shape for your bite and eliminate even the slightest movement of the tray in the mouth for its high efficiency. Buy this model and you will be able to show the best results, fully concentrating on defeating your opponent.
We also recommend sports bottles that will help you quickly quench your thirst on the go. A special valve prevents liquid overflow, so as not to stain yourself and your clothes.

Effective protection for young athletes
Does your child attend boxing, wrestling, kickboxing or martial arts classes? Then you definitely need to take care of high-quality protective equipment to prevent possible injuries and bruises. The Green Hill children’s mouth guard has become very popular in the market due to its universal size, convenience and ease of use. In addition, it belongs to the standard type, which means you will not need to pre-boil the protector in water so that it takes the desired shape and size. If the mouth guard turned out to be somewhat larger and does not fit snugly, it is enough to trim the edges a little with ordinary scissors – as a result, it will ideally be fixed on the teeth and sit perfectly. High-quality food-grade silicone was used as the material here: it is absolutely harmless to children’s health and does not cause irritation at all. Moreover, even with prolonged wear, the gums will not become inflamed and disturb the young athlete. And although this model is not designed for use with braces, otherwise it is worthy to be in your child’s arsenal. And who knows, perhaps in the future a real champion will grow out of him, who will be able to reach heights not only in amateur, but also in professional sports.
Contact sports need good boxing gloves. They make it possible to strike and hone your skills without injuring your fists and hands.

Option for those who often lose their mouth guards
If you are already a fairly experienced athlete, you probably know how important it is to have a mouth guard. And you also know how often it falls out during active strenuous workouts or is simply lost. In this regard, many professional fighters have several caps in their arsenal at once in order to quickly get a new one if necessary. This model was released by the Russian company “Sport 62”, and it is able to provide reliable protection for your teeth and jaw. Moreover, its price is really good, so everyone can afford to buy several pieces at once, so that a new and clean mouth guard is always at hand.
In terms of design, the reduced front height allows for comfortable breathing during combat and also allows you to speak freely without removing the protector from your mouth – a solution that is very useful if you train with gloves on. The material of the cap is a durable food-grade thermoplastic, harmless to the oral cavity and the body as a whole. To adjust the size and shape individually to your jaw structure and bite, you need to place a new mouth guard in hot water once (for a few seconds), and as a result, the likelihood of it moving during an important fight will be minimal.
Skipping rope is a fairly simple and at the same time effective way to develop coordination and endurance, because these qualities are so necessary in almost any sport.

What is a sports mouthguard
If you are involved in active sports, then you probably know how important the process of choosing sports equipment is in order not only to achieve high results, but also to avoid possible injuries and bruises. A mouthguard is an integral element of protection that helps prevent a fracture or dislocation of the jaw, protects against knocking out teeth in the event of an intentional or accidental blow to the head and face. It is on the must-have list in boxing, mixed martial arts, wrestling, baseball, rugby, hockey and many other sports. By choosing the right mouth protector, you will not have to spend a lot of money on an unscheduled visit to the dentist. Moreover, in many schools, participation in sports competitions requires the presence of a cap for schoolchildren. It is important to highlight that today there are three types of protectors:
- standard mouthguards can be taken out of the box and used immediately, as they do not require individual adjustments, however, they often do not attach perfectly to the teeth;
- with thermoplastic models, you will need a simple procedure of immersing the tray in boiling water to make it take a shape that perfectly fits your bite;
- custom mouth guard is custom made to fit your individual jaw and will fit perfectly in most cases.
