Lax fans rejoice as 2019 Parkside Major League Lacrosse brings officially licensed trading cards back to MLL collectors.
The last major release for Major League Lacrosse cards came from Upper Deck. Now it’s handled by Parkside Collectibles, a new card startup based in Los Angeles.
Limited to just 4,000 boxes in total, the premiere edition sells for around $60 per box. Boxes are sold directly at the Parkside website and at MLL games with plans to expand distribution in the future. In addition to the expected cards, each box contains four general admission tickets good for any Major League Lacrosse regular season game. The set’s release coincides with the official start of the 2019 MLL season on May 31.
For 2019, the six-team league includes the Atlanta Blaze, Boston Cannons, Chesapeake Bayhawks, Dallas Rattlers, Denver Outlaws, and New York Lizards.
2019 Parkside Major League Lacrosse Base / Inserts
Celebrating the 19th season of MLL, the 2019 Parkside Major League Lacrosse set delivers a 150-card base set featuring top players, coaches and team mascots. Alumni players are also an option.
Going by the early checklist, the base set includes players from the Charlotte Hounds, Florida Launch and Ohio Machine even though these teams are not active in 2019.

Niko Amato was voted as an MLL-Star while competing with the Chesapeake Bayhawks.
Chesapeake Bayhawks goalie Niko Amato has been a fan of Major League Lacrosse since he was a child. He grew up in Conshohocken, Pa.
, which is about 15 miles away from Philadelphia. He was a season ticket holder for the Philadelphia Barrage.
Despite folding in 2008, the Barrage — one of the league’s original teams — had an impressive history. The team won three championships, which is still tied for second-most in MLL history. They are also the only MLL team to appear in the championship game and not lose.
For Amato, however, it wasn’t a specific win or even game that was his favorite moment.
“One of the cool things was that I was getting private lessons with Brian Dougherty at the time,” he said. “I think it was the All-Star Game, I can’t remember what year, and everyone was hanging out on the field watching their fellow teammates do the skills competitions and the fastest shot competitions. They had player trading cards at the time, and I was able to get on the field and have some of my favorite players sign some of those cards, including Doc. That was one of my more memorable experiences.”
Amato has grown up and has a couple things in common with his childhood idol.
Not only are they both MLL Goaltenders of the Year, Amato is now also featured on a trading card and finds himself autographing them for kids that come to games.
The cards are issued by Parkside Collectibles, who was announced as an officially licensed trading cards partner of Major League Lacrosse in April of 2019.
The cards have been in circulation since the beginning of the 2019 season, but lacrosse wasn’t the original inspiration for the company.
“I had always been a collector. Erik Christensen, who is the co-founder, and I both have daughters,” said Mat Peek, the other co-founder of Parkside Collectibles. “We realized the [U.S.] Women’s National Soccer Team and National Women’s Soccer League didn’t have good representation in that space. Parkside was born trying to get our daughters women’s soccer cards.”
Due to licensing regulations with U.S. Soccer and FIFA, Peek said they may have bitten off more than they could chew. Peek is a native of Maryland, however, and his brother — Jeff — played lacrosse at Towson and for the Major Indoor Lacrosse League’s Baltimore Thunder.
Familiar with the game of lacrosse and a follower of MLL, Peek said they thought the league would be a perfect fit for their upstart collectibles company.
“It took about a year to get done, but they were very interested and receptive,” Peek said of the league. “We did a lot of research before calling and reaching out. One substantial trend [at MLL games] was the kids getting their autograph on the t-shirt they wore to the game or a lacrosse ball. Neither of those are really archival. The t-shirt doesn’t last long unless some miracle solvent keeps that marker in there, and the lacrosse ball is absorbent. We kept saying, ‘If we do our job right, there’s kids holding cards with their favorite players, and they’ll last forever.’”
Creating connections between the fans and the players was paramount for MLL in the partnership with Parkside Collectibles.
“Trading cards have been a cornerstone of sports for decades,” said Carrie Gamper, MLL Director of Marketing, in the league’s press release announcing the partnership.
“They allow for a tangible connection between a fan and their hero. The MLL has the great privilege of fielding so many aspirational athletes across our six teams and we look forward to working with Parkside to bring these athletes to the fans in such an authentic and personal way.”
The collection features a 150-card base set of players, coaches, and mascots from around the league. There are also specialty cards which include the “Signature Series” of autograph cards and “Gummy Arts” subset with illustrations of MLL players by Mike Noren. There are also cards that can be exchanged for a complimentary game ticket to any MLL game.
Peek said a lot of research went into which players to feature, from the known superstars to the lesser-heralded players who were fan favorites. The mascots, he said, were a no-brainer, because they were a huge part of the game and the league for kids. Another important part of MLL games — particularly in Denver — that made his way into the set of cards was Denver Outlaws superfan JoJo War Drummer.
“You can’t miss him banging on his drum screaming and yelling. He’s that superfan that demands your attention and affection and doing a great job growing the game,” Peek said. “JoJo was a necessity for our first-year set.”
JoJo War Drummer was blown away by the idea he’d be on a card and the reaction he has gotten from fans.
“A lot of Denver Outlaws fans are fans of mine,” he said. “They respect what I do with the war drum and everything. One of the guys he got the cards and he gave me one. I said, ‘No, I can’t take your card,’ and he said, ‘JoJo, I have a whole bunch of them.’ I said, ‘You’ve got to be kidding me.’ He said, ‘No. I’m a Denver Outlaws fan, but I’m also a fan of what you do.’ Is that crazy or what?”
Peek and Christensen soon realized how quickly the professional lacrosse landscape can change, however. Weeks before the start of the 2019 season, three teams — the Charlotte Hounds, Florida Launch, and Ohio Machine — ceased operations, leaving players like Kevin Crowley, Bryce Wasserman, and Jake Withers on cards that said they played for teams that no longer existed.
The co-founders of Parkside Collectibles took it in stride, however.
“There’s no point in telling a lie,” Peek said. “Initially, we were scared, but we had the conversation where the explanation was given, and we bought into it. It was an opportunity where we did make some small changes. You’ll notice, we managed to get a Dylan Molloy card in the set. There’s a parallel series of base cards that are black and white, and they’re borderless. We made them of the bigger stars to be a beautiful palate for autographs.”
From fan reaction at games, social media videos of fans opening a pack of cards, or emails from the players, the response to the cards has been very favorable.
“It’s really cool,” Amato said. “I’ve been passing some of them out to family and friends. Growing up, I collected all types of sports cards, so to have me playing a sport on a card is really cool. It’s something I treasure.”
Peek said he is a fan of the direction Major League Lacrosse is moving in and expects big things to come in the near future.
He also is excited for Parkside Collectibles to be chronicling the league’s history for many years in the future.
“We made the first official MLL trading card of Rob Pannell,” he said. “He’s going to be in the US Lacrosse Hall of Fame. He’ll be one of the greatest to play the game. He’ll probably have a vibrant career beyond lacrosse. We made his rookie card. We made Lyle Thompson’s first official MLL trading card.
“if you’re not excited about the possibility of the future, I feel you’re not paying attention,” he added. “It’ll be a lot of fun being the guys who do the trading cards because we’ll be around for the ride.”

You sometimes wonder how falsifiers take us for complete idiots, slipping us as “historical sources” a frank falsification made in the second half of the 19th century, when the second stage of the total falsification of history took place after another global catastrophe, the very fact of which is diligently concealed from us.
And, just, apparently, in order not to surface the facts of mass production of counterfeit, when the new “masters of the world” needed a new version of the “official” history.
And today, just as part of exposing this falsification, I want to introduce you to the so-called “New Map of Europe according to the latest observations”, which was allegedly published in 1721 by the Dutch cartographer Hermann Moll. But first, a few words about this cartographer. Surprisingly, no one knows where he was born, but it is assumed that he was born in Amsterdam or Rotterdam. But there are also versions that attribute German origin to him and Bremen is called the place of birth. The exact date of his birth is also unknown, while Wikipedia claims that he was supposedly born in 1654. But it is only known for certain that he moved to London and opened a card shop there in 1678. At the same time, he compiled his maps on the basis of maps of other cartographers, using their information. But the date of his death is known – it is September 22, 1732.
Here’s what else you can read about him on Wikipedia: “Mall created his first maps while studying cartographers such as John Senex and Emanuel Bowen. He probably sold his first maps at kiosks in various places in London. C He had his own shop at Vanley’s Court in London’s Blackfriars from 1688. Between 1691 and 1710 his business was at the corner of Spring Gardens and Charing Cross, and finally he moved along the River Thames to Beach Street, where he remained until his death. In 169During the 1900s, Moll worked primarily as an engraver for Christopher Brown, Robert Morden and Lee, in whose business he was also involved. During this time, he also published his first major independent work, Thesaurus Geographicus. The success of this work probably influenced his decision to start publishing his own maps…”

But let me tell you how old he was when he published map of 1721? It turns out 67 years. And this is also very doubtful. But he is also credited with creating a map of Eastern Europe from 1730. It turns out that he was already 76 years old! This is a “long-liver”! When you read such sources, you understand that people in the West have been degrading from the Soros education for a long time. After all, if Moll (or Moll) was only born in 1678, then how could he emigrate to England, to London just 2 years after his birth, and after another 8 years (i.e., sort of like at the age of 10) open your own store and are already trading your own cards with might and main? All these misunderstandings and implausible “inconsistencies”, as a rule, are always signs of falsification. As evidence of which I want to consider together with you the “Map of New Europe” of 1721 attributed to this cartographer. And there are plenty of “jambs” on this map.
And all of them completely do not correspond to the historical situation (again, according to the official version of history) for 1721.
So let’s take a closer look at this setting. I’m not even talking about the fact that all the outlines of the coastline of Europe already correspond to the 19th century. But here you can clearly see, for example, such states as Germany and Italy. At the same time, Italy as a single state was formed in 1861, and Germany – in 1871. But these are not the only “jambs” of falsifiers. It seems that in addition to European official history, they also had little knowledge of the history of Russia. And the point is not even that the Russian Empire was formed in 1721, and the false Peter became its first emperor.
But in the same 1721, the Northern War with Sweden ended, as a result of which Russia received the Baltic lands of Estland and Livonia. And even earlier, since 1703, it seems like the false Peter began to build St. Petersburg, and a year later – Kronstadt.
But on this map called “The New Map of Europe According to the Latest Observations” for some reason, not only these same Baltic lands, but also Ingria is still part of Sweden. What, then, did Hermann Moll “observe” when compiling this “New Map of Europe”? Didn’t he know that the northern war had been going on for decades and that by 1721 Sweden had lost control over many of its territories? He could not help but know that this war was drawing to a close, and therefore it would be more logical to wait for its end and the signing of a peace treaty in order to correctly draw the territories of the countries.
But this is not the last oddity of this card. Surprisingly, the Astrakhan kingdom, which was annexed to Muscovy back in 1556 by Tsar Ivan the Terrible, for some reason is not indicated at all as part of Russia. However, we have already found out that this map was drawn (judging by Germany and Italy) in the second half of the 19th century. And therefore it makes no sense to even comment on the very strange inscription “Russia or the dominion of Muscovy in Europe”, made by the falsifiers with an obvious provocative purpose.
It is precisely from such a “remake” of the second half of the 19th century that the myths are born that Romanov’s Russia allegedly fought with “Moscow Tartaria” or even with “Great Tartaria”, while Tartaria died in the “Tartar local flood”, oh which was mentioned by A. Kircher, even before the formation of Russia.
But where the new myths about the “war between Russia and Tartary” come from is quite understandable. Just this same map clearly shows us the “London trail”. After all, no one even hides the fact that all Herman Moll’s maps were created in London. And if after the flood that destroyed ancient civilization, the center of the falsification of history was Holy Rome (Vatican), then the second stage of the total falsification of history took place under the leadership of the City of London. Whose residence is there? Who actually seized control of Britain after the fraudulent operation on the London Stock Exchange in 1815? That’s right – the Rothschilds. They financed revolutions and wars throughout Europe, including two world ones, on which they made good profits along with other Zionokhazar banking clans of the world “elite”.
And it is not surprising that they are also behind the writing of the latest version of the official history. After all, the new “masters of the world” always need a new “history”. But now this parasitic satanic force is actively engaged in stuffing its fake falsification in the hope that some of the Russian alternatives, either due to thoughtlessness and inattention, or out of selfish motives, will “bite” on this outright falsification. And in general, I would not be surprised if many other cards of Herman Moll also turn out to be a fake “remake” of falsifiers of history and their servants. So I want to say that the Vatican “remake” is still one or two centuries older than the London one, which is only a hundred and fifty years old at most. Therefore, I do not advise using such “historical sources” to search for the truth about our past.
