MASCAC Baseball: A Close Race for the Top Spot

Gross violation of ethical standards and manipulation on the air of Malakhov’s TV show
On September 24, 2019, the TV show “Live” was released on the channel “Russia 1”. The program was devoted to discussing an accident involving the son of a billionaire, the so-called “sausage king”. Recall, more than 2 months ago, on the Frunzenskaya Embankment in Moscow, 25-year-old motorcyclist Alexander Marugov collided with a taxi driven by Kyrgyzstani Islambek Akbarov.
The behavior of an experienced TV presenter, Andrey Malakhov, caused a storm of indignation on the part of the Kyrgyz people, who demanded an apology from Malakhov. Users of social networks of the Kyrgyz segment launched a flash mob with the hashtag #MaLOHov.
Factcheck . kg analyzed the program “Live” and revealed a number of violations of journalistic ethics, and also discovered methods of manipulation by the leading audience.
In the course of the telecast, participants express a version of a contract killing, despite the fact that the mother of the deceased is not inclined to directly blame anyone. The host himself, Andrey Malakhov, also adheres to this version, repeatedly expressing insults to the taxi driver:
“ Driven by a 23-year-old brat who came from another country. For a couple of months he works in a taxi, to which give 100 thousand dollars, he will make the whole family happy, the whole village and all relatives until the end of their days.
Malakhov adds that a Kyrgyz citizen cannot earn that kind of money in his homeland, since the salary in the Kyrgyz Republic is only 10 dollars.
The host is suspicious of the fact that Akbarov’s relatives are able to hire a lawyer for him.
“Five people are sleeping on the benches, $ 10 salary and here is a lawyer in a suit,” – he claimed on the air.
“Taxi driver, 23 years old, a boy from a large family. Just finished studying to be a car mechanic. He has only been working in Moscow for a year. Before that, he worked in the Crimea as a plumber. Now he decided to be a driver, and after an accident he got a smart lawyer and the embassy”, – the presenter doubts the solvency of relatives of Islambek Akbarov.
The behavior of the host on “Live” is contrary to several points of the Global Charter of Ethics for Journalists. The document was adopted on June 12, 2019year in Tunisia at the XXX World Congress of the International Federation of Journalists. The charter was supported by more than half a million members of the press from around the world.
Respect for facts and the public’s right to reliable information is the first duty of a journalist. Global Charter of Ethics for Journalists, Article 1
In fulfilling this duty, the journalist must uphold the principles of freedom in collecting materials and publishing news, as well as defend the right to fair comments and criticism of one’s own materials, as well as in private criticism and journalism . The journalist must clearly distinguish factual information from journalism and criticism. Global Charter of Ethics for Journalists, Article 2
A journalist must respect privacy. He/she must respect the dignity of persons mentioned and/or represented in the materials, and inform the interviewee whether the interview or other material provided will be used in the publication. He/she should pay special attention to inexperienced and vulnerable interviewees. Global Charter of Ethics for Journalists, Article 8
The journalist must be sure that the dissemination of information or opinions will not contribute to the incitement of hatred or prejudice, and must also do everything possible to ensure that the dissemination of information and opinions does not promote hatred or prejudice and must do everything possible to avoid discrimination based on characteristics such as geographical, social or ethnic origin, race , gender, sexual orientation, language, religion, disability, political and other opinions. Global Charter of Ethics for Journalists, Article 9
The journalist is obliged to consider the following as serious professional violations:
- plagiarism
- misrepresentation
- slander, defamation, slander, unfounded accusations . Global Charter of Ethics for Journalists, Article 10
Journalists worthy of this title consider it their duty to conscientiously observe the above principles. They may not be compelled to perform a professional act or to express an opinion contrary to their professional conviction or conscience. Global Charter of Ethics for Journalists, Article 15
The above statements by Malakhov are also methods of manipulating public consciousness in order to impose their own point of view on the audience:
Demonization of the enemy – Turning a member of another nation, ethnic group or supporter of a different point of view into a “subhuman”, immoral, ruthless, etc., using false or unverified accusations. Presenting the opponent in a deliberately unfavorable light, exaggeration or falsification of shortcomings/misconduct, opposing him and the target audience. Brief description – Demonization of the enemy – turning the opponent into a “subhuman”, immoral, ruthless, etc., using false or unverified accusations. Source – Cole, 1998, pp. 210-312.
Labeling – Labeling is used to make categories easier to read . For example, it is enough to create in the public mind the image of a certain “radical” with its inherent characteristics in order to further “drown” any opponent, calling him a radical. A method of manipulation is to help the audience think in large, blurry categories without trying to isolate the specific characteristics of the object itself. It is, in fact, a generalization and division of diversity into a small number of clearly defined groups – “conservative”, “liberal”, “oppositionist”. Summary – Labeling forces the audience to think in vague categories rather than trying to pick out the specific characteristics of an object on its own. Source – Cole, 1998, pp. 210-312.
Among other things, the presenter in his TV show completely forgot about the principle “Presumption of innocence “, accusing the driver that he can commit a contract killing for 100 thousand dollars.
Any person (even if openly and officially accused of any crime by investigative or other bodies of the state, even arrested in connection with these accusations) is considered absolutely innocent as long as his guilt in committing a crime will not be proven legally (under the laws of this country) and until this proof is confirmed (established) by the relevant court decision (verdict) of the court and which has entered into force (under the laws of this country). The principle of the presumption of innocence. Wikipedia.
Conclusion: on the air of the TV program “Live”, aired on the channel “Russia-1”, the host Andrei Malakhov violated the following norms:
1. 1,2,8,9,10,15- articles of the Global Charter of Ethics journalists, adopted in Tunisia at the XXX World Congress of the International Federation of Journalists;
2. Malakhov used such types of manipulation as “demonization of the enemy” and “labeling”;
3. The principle of the presumption of innocence is not respected.

role, Hoffman’s character puts on a dress and, when advantageous, fights against sexism. And he also uses girlfriends and fools men. A cynical film with archaic lengths of text: what is one online monologue of the hero worth (now he would just take off his wig and confess his love to the heroine Lang).

I watched in deep childhood. “THIS WOMAN” seemed very ugly to me. She, that is, he got into various situations. Later, the film “Mrs. Doubtfire” was released, somewhat echoing this picture.

7What did you mean? (c)
They say that the dream of any actor is to play the role of a woman. From the hero of Dustin Hoffman
turned out an honest, but lonely woman who has won many admirers.
Now this film causes a sad smile, as well as all the attributes of that time: gray cameras of cameramen, box-like TVs and others like them.
From this whole funny story, a strange conclusion suggests itself to me: alas, a man can truly understand a woman only by being in her shoes.

I recommend watching to anyone who wants and has time to sit at the TV and laugh from the heart. A lyrical comedy about how an actor decided to transform into an actress. And it was watched by the whole country in the television series. There are a lot of jokes in the tape related to his reincarnation, there is also love. Dustin Hoffman did a great job in this role. Jessica Lange played well, although her role was originally much simpler. She appeared in King Kong.

Tootsie is one of the best films of the 80s, Sidney Pollak made the movie by scene Riya Barry Levinson about a male actor, who, in order to find a job, dressed as a woman and quite successfully began to promote the idea of his heroine about the role of a man and a woman in the modern world, while simultaneously trying to figure out who he loves and who loves him.
Tootsie is Dustin Hoffman’s dog and it is not at all clear why the film received such a name, for which, according to rumors, the actor almost won an Oscar for Best Actress. And in general, the nomination would be well deserved, but only in this case, the heroine of the film “Victor \ Victoria”, released in the same year, could well receive an award for best male role, which, however, did not happen. The academics preferred Meryl Streep and Ben Kingsley…
I’m not sure that Hoffman managed to penetrate the female psychology, but it’s certain that he managed to see a little bit of the female world, the entrance to which is closed for a normal man

An inimitable idea. An inimitable game. In my opinion, for an actor to play an actor in a film is a very difficult role. Dustin Hoffman did 100.

om far away from me, so far away that I can only imagine them spirit, thoughts, atmosphere. But I stick to the screen with a broken heart when I stumble upon her on TV, over the past few years the reaction has not changed at all.
Tootsie has already become a timeless product. If earlier this, I can only guess about it, was to some extent satire and protest, now this movie is definitely a kind comedy loved by everyone with a touch of sadness about love, of course. And more about the place in this world.

I remember very much. Of course, this is one of the most important works of Dustin Hoffman, as he keeps throughout the film, simply with the most powerful energy, the role of Bill Murray is also very memorable. I advise you to watch this light, deep and ironic film, get a lot of pleasure.

5 reviews, 8 ratings, rating benefit performance of Dustin Hoffman, a good good movie of the 80s, or, say, an example of a bright, memorable feature in the script. But none of these interpretations corresponds to our unconscious. None of them reveals how we could watch this movie in order to learn something in our depths, to transform some important unconscious formation. A pile of coal that we could melt inside ourselves, or a hill from which we could, breathlessly, move out. Dustin Hoffman is a man who never stops. He is frail, petty, ridiculous, but he raves not just about a specific performance, he raves about an idea that he considers great. Attuned to a great idea, he acts. He goes to the place where normal people see the zoo and feel something so unbearably shameful (which cannot be explained) that they instantly turn away, taking a deep breath and stabilizing their banal existence. (There is no desire to turn away now from this graphomaniac text?). However, Dustin Hoffman has a super task, his character, and the character in the character, and the character in the character in the character (administrator in the hospital) has a super task. Which one – it doesn’t matter. Each person has their own. But when we see such a – vertical cut – penetration into the nature of the super-task, we are up to tears, up to the battle inside, we light up with our own small goal. And this is a wonderful shift.

Not many films out of 80 I’m ready to watch. Tootsie is amazing. He is a little naive, touching. But he retained the relevance of humor, simulation of situations and just real sincere human relationships, fears, delusions. It seems to me that it is these features that make the movie beloved.

Fiom is good! We can say that the whole epic of comedies with dressing up began with him, it was not for nothing that he got an Oscar … and Dustin Hoffman, as always, played inimitably, I advise everyone ..

The films of the 80s were very environmentally friendly, by their nature they are healthier than the current ones. And it’s not that the author of these lines is a retrograde, modern films (good!) are closer to me, they have an intensity that I understand, I need, to which films of thirty years ago do not reach. Intensity is the main property of time, current time, and we have accelerated quite decently over these thirty years. It is clear that this did not bring us happiness and joy, and even an understanding of the nature of things, but people took the acceleration, and now we just need not to slip past a variety of turns. Including the house in the village, the old rural roads, in which our intensity is like the speech of a river, like the crunch of branches in the forest, like leaves on a tree, among which you will not find two identical ones, just as in a film there are no two identical squares of color. (not like modern digital cameras, where all the pixels are of the same perfect shape). The human eye likes film because the key to intensity is processing heterogeneous rather than uniformly flat information. But we will accelerate, and we will understand that intensity does not always directly follow from acceleration. I think that the reason for the flat thinking of a modern author can be only one. He does not believe in genius, in the unique genius of his story. There is too much evidence that “everything has long been invented.” Fuck to think? Everyone asks this question, starting with the internal producer in their own head. “You need not to think, but to come up with a feature that can be developed so as not to look like an analogue,” this producer convinces. “Well, why, why, I ask you, now think about the history of a man in the role of a woman, if so much has already been implemented on this topic?” In the 80s, people were interested in thinking, not inventing. Their thoughts turned out to be naive, stupid, uncalibrated and not stuffed with shock doses, information to defeat. Thoughts, like leaves, rustled in the wind, and one could look at them endlessly. Such thoughts produced oxygen for the society.

Sidney Pollack – the name does not really fit with the person himself. Rather, it is fast and light, small in size, as if not wanting to burden those who think about it with a lot of information. At the same time, this is not Stanley Kubrick, the name is also small, but as if carved from gabbro-diorite, descending a short but clear message to people, like that famous stele. Sydney Pollack is so different from his name that the appearance constantly disappears from memory. However, at the first glance thrown at him, the memory returns: everything is not easy with this person. Kubrick understood him best as a cinematographer: he gave him the role of the head of a secret society, a magnificent Masonic lodge, but at the same time, in a more familiar life, instructing him to portray, probably, himself – a person who is in the center of public relations, because he inspires confidence , shows participation, and most importantly – has tact. To dispose to oneself all living things, namely to dispose, and not to fall in love, is a special talent. It is, of course, possible to create a movie by mere tact; it will be good, but never outstanding. Tootsie is outstanding. The real, best chefs know one secret about themselves: they have been ill with a thirst for creativity and want only one thing – to correctly express real, live products. Kubrick crossed this line too, he saw ahead what is behind matter: magnetic storms, northern lights and the energy of the world, and having seen, he had to leave in order to build matter rigidly from the other side, with an order, a transforming order. Pollack remained in the profession with a sense of tact. But the great combination of ingredients did find it. It was Tootsie, of course.

4 reviews, 6 ratings, rating cabbage scenes, and be happy that you break off the horseradish stump . Such an idea is doomed to success, lovely ladies will say, and, as always, they will be tritely right. Well, what’s the point of picking up a critical rigmarole: a comedy of positions, it is also a comedy of positions in the cinema. But no, there is a rod harder than the stalk. The protagonist at the beginning of the film sticks to everyone for half an hour with some stupid idea: give him the theater. Yes, we, too, will dismiss this idea, like all his friends, colleagues and unfaithful girlfriends, we are a blockbuster or give us a laugh. Or maybe you don’t have to turn away and immediately laugh – they say, a man in a skirt, funny, funny, circus! The jester in King Lear can also laugh, but he is not kept in literature for this. This frail Michael got out of the routine – moving towards his most important task. Surprisingly, he completed this particular super-task, and then returned to the world again (you must forget, get your yesterday’s exploits out of your head!), Maybe routine, but one step, one step further into the open sea. And so it will follow the ebb until time comes and fills its tide – entirely, with an immortal wave; well, our formal comedian, that is, each of us, will remain a painted hipster on a curb.

5 reviews, 6 ratings, rating into his future. Final “Tootsie” is strong just such a design. During Michael’s self-exposure on air, the characters react differently depending on the nature of the relationship. Almost all of these reactions can be defined as shock (with the exception of only Murray’s hero), and such a simultaneous, but not collective shock, a shock in which each hero sees his own, is a unique opportunity for the viewer. Something still unites people’s reactions, but what exactly? It is obvious that each of them lost something that he did not expect to lose. Moreover, he lost what he staked on. Please note that this is only an image. People have lost their image! Well, they lost the image that held for them a picture of the world with the included rate. Having lost their image, they also lost their stake, but this does not change the essence of the matter. Let’s think about the fact that we can lose any image and any stake in this world. And maybe the image itself has no reason to be the way you see it, except that you see it the way it is. Yes, we do not give each other freedom in this world. But we do not give freedom to ourselves. Just think of how many things we can free ourselves from by freeing others. There are so many things around that we can refuse as optional. Ask about this person who at that moment carried a hamburger past his mouth. For liberation, shock is an indispensable thing. Because the release is just the other side of the shock, the bottom timeline in sync with the top. In life, we deal only with the memory of the liberation that happened, but not with this state itself, so an extra reminder will not hurt. Nobody will put this state in a strong position of the ending. The release of people is not necessary for producers, it is not necessary for people who hold on to each other in order to maintain their calmness above all. The one with the hamburger was already ready to think that he could not live without a woman. Even in this situation, he will not begin to think: is this really so?

We are indeed bisexual beings, and this is one of the greatest mysteries of man. Very few people take this mystery seriously. The genre of tragicomedy is only superficially simple. The mystery begins to unravel when in the film, in the plot, Michael stops DESIGNING a woman, but begins to live her. Dorothy is as real as Michael. And if you ask yourself the question, how do they differ, my answer will be – attention. Women differ from men in the type of attention. It’s great when dramaturgy makes it possible to see this not in separate sketches, scenes, situations, but in a rather complex line of behavior for each of these two characters. Nobody is portraying anyone. Character A and character B are self-sufficient and essentially do not intersect with each other. Accordingly, the field of attention of each must be monitored separately. This is a unique chance to understand that we can freely be both – due to different types of attention.

bad ones, they will pass with a pumped up body through fire, water, bullets and save world, city or village. And there are tragicomedies in which the puny hero remains puny to the end. Here he even disguises himself as a woman. But it was he who gave me in my childhood three scenes of courage that I will remember for the rest of my life. The first is that the hero is exposed on the air, and all his abilities and incapacities, all his pride and work are invited to shoot up – immeasurably higher than all the crap that people have come up with in their everyday life. The second – the hero says to himself, but what? Well, why not try it?! Go, man, go, that’s what it’s all about! And let them pour a martini glass on your face, but you went and checked everything yourself. People, as usual, just chatting, but you – you can – act. The third scene comes to my mind more than any movie scene, for no apparent reason. Pushing a clown balancing on one leg is a symbol of some indefinable internal state. The devil knows what. But definitely very important. Well, what does he imagine there, really.

I remember watching this movie in my childhood with my mother. When your children watch good films thirty years from now, the good of the heroes will unite with the good that you gave them, give them now. It is not clear how this works, but all the good things that happen in Tootsie, the struggle of heroes, laughter, their attention to each other – all this is not just from a world in which there was no Internet. This is the world in which my mother was near, because we discussed with her what we saw in the film more than once. A good film is a connection between two close people who revealed something to each other in this film, and through time.

4 reviews, 6 ratings, rating your life experience. Or maybe through an understanding of the exact decisions in dramaturgy, in the plot. Surprisingly, it is in the relationship of the characters that the formula for the relationship of the elements of the work of all levels, including its ideas, is encoded. To deeply develop the theme of emancipation in dialogues, to put smart thoughts into the speech of the characters – all this game is not worth the candle. In words, you can only give an unambiguous position, even in the words of several disputants, the position of each will be unambiguous. A dramatic construction does not prove anything, it is true in itself, if it is able to catch, to catch the Force. The dramatic construction is a trap set on the Force. It is possible to say something about the place, role and position of a woman in society from soap series, which are present in the background in the plot of the film.
